Made a fun lil homage to Space Ghost featuring some of the cast of Doom x Sugar Cookies. In universe, this is the set for CTN News, hosted by Kenny Kane (right). Gave him a bit of a redesign since I last drew him, that way he'd match the Space Ghost aesthetic a little more.
Background was modeled using Blender, with a very old traditional artpiece used as the view outside.. Characters were illustrated using Affinity Photo and animated in Adobe After Effects. Space Ghost aside, this scene was also heavily based on some character interviews made to promote the original Powerpuff Movie
“Mythology was littered with people who meddled in the affairs of elves and fairies and were never again heard from.” ― Thomm Quackenbush, Artificial Gods I've missed fairy photos, I love creating things that look mystical and fantastical. And @theamethystprincess is a fantastic fae. This was edited using Affinity Photo. I'm still trying to get to grips with this as opposed to using Photoshop. #portrait #glasgow #photography #portrait #modelphotography #portraits #scottishportraits #glasgowphotographer #eyemakeup #makeup #fairy #fae #affinityphoto #affinityphotoipad #alternativegirl #altmodel #tatooedmodel #theportraitobjective #fairytrade #tolkein #boundlessphotography (at Chatelherault Country Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiLUO2ks8xD/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I got an ipad... and procreate... and found my love for drawing animals again XD
I never realized how much I love drawing animals, especially when they are more proportionally accurate without too much trouble XD A lot has changed since A & B Sides pieces, not just my equipment but also how my story is coming along XD
My plans are still posting on here, but I'm hoping to get it into readable format soonish XD Currently it's a cobweb of intertwining plot lines, world building, and Silas (not pictured yet...) roasting people over an open fire... verbally not literally thankfully.
Music - Sunken Frigate Main Theme (I DO NOT OWN the music, just threw it on for some cool background music... hope it's gucci...)
Norman Rockwell's "The Connoisseur" depicts a man in a suit, implied to be an art critic, expressing confusion at the sight of a Jackson Pollock-esque splatter painting.
This Norman Rockwell piece has become emblematic of a growing divide in the art world, between more traditional representational artworks and a general trend towards abstraction.
