I feel that he has a soft, angelic voice but would be shy to sing in front of everyone, probably passing the mic to all his other dorm mates.

He’s more piano-equip than singing-equip, so singing techniques might be a bit amateurish. I don’t think he’ll try to sing classical opera songs though, more of like soft pop songs that he can sing to and don’t embarrass himself in front of everyone.

He might be the best singer out there, I mean he used to run a band before as lead singer so-

He’s got a smooth, elegant singing voice that can sometimes go sultry if he sings a love song but he’s not gonna do that in front of people-

Azul has some flair to his singing, swaying his hips slightly but honestly it’s pretty subtle. You gotta show that ✨pizass✨, but not too much you know?

He’s NOT gonna stay in the karaoke room for too long though, otherwise he’s gonna suffer through Floyd’s weird ass playlist he’ll sing or worse, Heavy Metal Rock-

Kalim Al Asim

Great karaoke singer!

He’ll mostly sing pop songs but one thing about this boy-

He might pull up a Just Dance session and sing along (and that’s hard to do ngl-) since Just Dance lets you sing along too while you’re at it and he might as well do a whole ass concert in front of the Scarabia Dorm

Another good singer, and this time he’s the most normal one like Riddle.

He has a delicate yet pretty deep voice he can go down to, but it’s usually light and pretty, perfect for singing slow songs and all.

It’s just that he might go first to excuse himself to leave later because he is NOT gonna sit through to listen Rook going crazy af over the love song playlists-

Idia Shroud

Mostly anime songs. He’s singing voice is actually not bad, it’s just that he’d rather not, and maybe he’ll only have a karaoke session with his brother Ortho.

Family Bonding Time 👍

Idia can sing all kinds of anime songs, and I mean ALL KINDS-

It can go from sad ones too downright fast and upbeat and Ortho would be having light sticks raised for his brother and cheering him on.

I’m sorry, when I imagined him at a karaoke session I saw him bringing a violin and scoresheets and lyric sheets💀-

Anyways, he might be rather stiff in holding the mic, but his voice is deep and soothing so yeah.

Lilia might tease him a little to sing pop songs for fun and oh my god it’s hilarious-

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Your girl is getting her wisdom teeth yanked today so here's how I think the cast reacts on anesthesia

Heartslaybul

Riddle: He's so so sleepy, and starts crying when he's told he can't sleep yet. He's very emotional, just wants cuddles, BUT he gets really excited when he can still eat like the custard part of a tart.

Trey: He's just Not Present whatsoever, he's in a different dimension. Just leave him to his thoughts and make sure he eats he's fine.

Cater: Does a tiktok with a before and after audio. However when he sees himself in the camera he starts crying and calling himself ugly, he needs cuddles and reassurance. In relationships where it is appropriate, he will try to kiss his partner and get So Sad when they won't kiss him

Deuce: Also pretty spacey, starts crying when he hears/sees his mom, but is also convinced he's spiderman.

Ace: Flirts with the nurse on the way to the car, is convinced he's being kidnapped like....

"Y'all are kidnappin me?"

"no we'r-"

"Its cuz I'm hot ahaha" *fuckboy face*

when he notices his bandaid he gets mad "I ain't a fuckin pussy, take it off"

Savanaclaw

Leona: He doesn't have wisdom teeth this son of a bitch. and although I really want to imagine Leona on anesthesia, chances are hes still just sleepy and gets mad when he cant have burger

Ruggie: Is convinced his gauze falling out is his tongue and panics, "I cant afford that" and while crying tries to stuff it back into his mouth

Jack: my poor baby is bullied so much by his upperclassmen that he's convinced that they took his legs too and just starts crying. They let himvideocall with his siblings and he starts crying and telling them how much he loves them.

Octavinelle

Azul: wough baby boy is so out of it, he doesnt even notice when smoothie starts dripping down his chin bc he can't feel it. He starts crying if you tell him he's making a mess, but is fine the moment he's shown he's clean.

Jade + Floyd: Wakes up during surgery around the same time as Floyd and both of them are trying to talk to each other and laughing because they cant with peoples hands in their mouths. Also this links to a tiktok thats like them. After.

Scarabia

Kalim: I can't find the video, but when he's sitting in the chair after surgery he notices a nurse leave the room and starts crying. "They should be here. Everyone should be here to see me"

Jamil: He and Najma get them done at the same time, he's emotional, she's making fun of him, gets confused in a funny way when he cries and tells him to stop being a baby

Pomefiore

Vil: He gets mad if you record him, he's still coherent enough to know he doesnt want a phone in his face, but the audio clips are immaculate. Compares himself to god more than once.

Rook: Son of a bitch doesnt have wisdom teeth >:(

Epel: Pulls his shirt away from his chest to look down and gets sad "they didn't gimme my muscles" and is absolutely miserable

Ignihyde

Idia: Ortho fucks around with him some, puts pringles cans on his arms and convinces him he's ironman/some equivalent from an anime or something. Mans is hyper in attitude but wont get up from his chair. Yes Ortho livestreams it to the rest of Ignihyde.

Ortho: N/A

Diasomnia

Malleus: he's really weepy after getting his wisdom teeth out. Lilia convinces him that his horns have grown legs and walked away and Malleus proceeds to cry more until his favourite person shows up and all is right in the world again.

Lilia: He's a runner he's a track staaaar, someone put him on a leash because he will unlock and open the door of a moving vehicle to try to jump out (HC that medical practitioners can enforce magic restraints so that while a patient is incapable of making an informed decision they cannot use magic) also dances a lot. Looooves to talk on the phone,ven if theres nobody on the other end.

Silver: Sleepy baby stays a sleepy babyyyy

Sebek: He has the widest fucking eyes at everything, everything feels waaaaay too fast for him, but its the first time hes so quiet , hes like dead silent

More format-less hc

So I tested positive for covid shortly after senior prom (which my school said was like the super spreader), and have been feeling like garbage since monday, so have an angsty hc/thought

TW: Mentions of illness, death if you squint and uhh tuna ig bc things go better in threes

Since Yuu is from another world with different diseases, they’re no equipped for the different viruses that can go around twst. This means that a common cold for yuu, since their body isnt used to it, could hurt them much, much more than it would hurt a person native to twisted wonderland. They dont have the natural immunity that everyone else has.

Imagine Adeuce making fun of yuu for falling sick over something that everyone gets as a kid, brushing it off and going about their day. they start to get worried when yuu doesnt show up to class the next few days, which turns into a week. crewel (since we all know crowley isnt doing much) takes them to the infirmary and, without any barriers to magic, magical solutions do nothing for them. that week turns into a month, and that month turns into two. The students don’t know what to do, the dorm heads are scrambling to find a solution because without yuu’s help, nrc has fallen into the disarray that it was before they got there.

the first years don’t care, they snap at their seniors and spend every available moment by yuu’s side. they still host their study sessions, just in the infirmary rather than the library. they still talk to their friend, even if their friend hasnt woken up since that first week. ace wishes he hadnt made that joke, he thinks its his fault that yuu fell so ill. he cursed them, he thinks. deuce tries every single of his mothers remedies, and laments every time they dont work. jack leaves the finished notes and schoolwork by their bed, and he feels a part of him sink whenever he sees how large the pile had gotten- so large that he had to move part of it to the floor. epel talks to yuu as if they can listen, pacing back and forth and ranting who knows what, mostly vils still-strict skincare regime (although he uses those same techniques on yuu, when he notices that they look particularly….gaunt, and pale. he doesnt want them to look like a ghost anymore). sebek can only stand and stare at what used to be his first friend besides silver. he’d known that full humans can get terribly ill, and that fae recover much faster than most species, but seeing it in person sends a chill down his spine. he returns to diasomnia in silence for the first time. grim is inconsolable, refusing to leave his dormleaders side even when offered the most expensive tuna there is, even when bribed and pulled at. he only ever leaves to take care of the dorm, which shocks the rest of the student body. the tanuki claims that he absolutely has ti keep the dorm clean or yuu will be upset with him. in reality, he cant stand to look at their sickened face anymore.

or malleus, spending every moment yuus other friends arent there by their side, quietly telling them stories from his homeland or trying his best to help them magically, but even he knows theres not much he can do without hurting them more. visitors soon notice little things among the gifts, small flowers, intricate jewelry (that is, jewelry that is much different than the gifts from the dormleader al-asim), small statues and books, and… who left a used “gao-gao dragon-kun” toy?

if they do wake up, the rest of campus will never take their presence for granted again, nor will they ever be alone ever again.

if they dont, i mean hey, ghosts exist in twisted wonderland! (really trying to bring the mood up here guys)

this turned out a ton more sad than i wanted it to, and i made myself sad, so im gonna go get myself a popsicle and skip

| Notes: Hi, anon! Nope, it’s all okay! I do mostly hcs bc it’s easy but a short story from time to time is also good. So, for the soulmate plot, I got the idea of creating this whole folklore about some soulmates connecting because of a special song only they know (and you’ll have to pretend here that Disney didn’t created “Once Upon a Dream” in 1959 lol The first part is the classic one and the second is based on Celestial Bunny’s translation of the Japanese 2º paragraph ver (from that one Malleus video everybody watched, link in the special notes). But the very last part is a little adaptation I made. It might seem rushed in some parts bc I actually lost the original by accident and had to rewrite it again but I tried my best to do something really sweet and funny in some parts. Hope you like it! Once Upon a Song

Malleus was excited that afternoon to meet you at the Ramshackle. He was humming to himself while walking, not singing the lyrics but producing a serene, good measured melody. For all the long centuries of his existence, this particular song has always been present within him in some way.

Malleus wondered if he himself created the melody and lyrics alone because he had never heard anything like it anywhere else.

It was almost always in the back of his mind, like a protective spell. Malleus hummed it wistfully when he was feeling down and more serene when he was happy. And talking to you always made him happy — in a special, inexplicable way.

He had felt this way since he first met you in the middle of the night among the ruins of that poor dormitory forgotten by Crowley and the world, with the exception of Malleus and the ghosts. From the first glance, something in his heart felt different. More complete. There weren't enough words to describe that feeling.

It was as if he spent his whole life without his horns, essential parts of his nature. However, upon your arrival, he would have felt the horns finally crown his head.

But it was still a very weak metaphor for his feelings. Perhaps, it should be said that it was like realizing that he was missing something that he didn't even know he had missed. Complicated, yes, but a little more truthful and similar.

Not that this was the time to think about those things.

You had promised to walk with Malleus that night to see one of the school towers that had ancient gargoyles reminiscent of guardians from the Valley of Thorns. He was super excited to show you this and you were very interested in finding out more about the history of that world — and spending more time with Malleus, of course.

Not that he realized that last part. Malleus could see that you, unlike the others, didn’t run away from him and enjoyed his company in a very special way, but he wasn’t sure of the depth of your feelings. Which made him strangely sad.

Even though Malleus said to himself that he would be satisfied if you were just friends, he felt a painful twinge every time he said that. It hurted like being pricked by a needle. Small and treacherous poisoned needle of a light lie, leading him into a fatal delusion. A heavy sleep of fleeting dreams.

“I know you, I walked with you once in a dream...!”

Malleus stopped at the door of the Ramshackle, not having noticed that he had walked so automatically down the stone staircase, lost in thought. Your sweet voice awakened him.

“I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam!”

But it wasn't just for your melodious voice and yes, for the lyrics you sang. A song that Malleus knew so well, the very one he had been humming before he arrived. The question was: why did you know the song he created?

“And I know, it's true that visions are seldom all they seem, but if I know you...!”

“I know what you’ll do... you will love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.”

You got scared, letting the broom with whom you danced fall from your hands. While you sang your verse, the door had been quietly opened and Malleus entered uninvited — though he liked to be received by you, his kind and hospitable friend.

But, finally, he finished the song that was accompanying your cleaning of the room.

Malleus's voice was deep and strong, having turned the cheerful melody into something more sober and serious, almost mirroring his expression at that moment. You didn't know why Malleus was staring at you steadily, as if seeking in you the solution of a mystery.

Although it was you who should face him like that because he was the one who sang a song that only you knew! Many thoughts agitated your mind, so many that you ended up shaking your head to pull yourself together and pick up the poor broom again.

“You know that song, Tsunotaro?,” you asked, feeling strange. You tried to smile to ease the tension.

“I've known it for as long as I can remember. Every verse, every note,” Malleus went from serious to apprehensive, starting to walk across the wooden floor that was clean of any dust and cobwebs that had fallen from the ceiling. “How do you know it, child of Man?”

“I don't know... I have also known how to sing it since I was a child. Although I never really heard it anywhere.”

You took another fright when Malleus suddenly approached you, looking directly into your eyes. You might not have the same hesitation as other people about him, but in a way, you didn't blame them for feeling disturbed by Malleus’ intimidating presence. Even more so when he squeezed his eyelids, considering what to do at that moment while watching you.

“We have no choice. We need to search for Lilia.”

“W-weren't we going to see gargoyles?,” you tried to remind him of the original appointment. “What's wrong with us knowing the same song? It's just a coincidence, Tsunotaro. Don't need to be so stressed about it.”

Malleus stopped for a moment to laugh softly, which was a relief because his heart was beating fast like a thunderstorm. In fact, you even heard the faint noise of rain suddenly falling outside. That's what got you worried.

Malleus’s mood always had strange effects on the weather and days before, he had just helped fix the roof leaks. You thought he was angry, which would make the rain heavier and bring your poor house down. But you were worried for nothing — Malleus didn’t realize that he had given you the wrong impression.

He was happy. Partly. It would only depend on you to make his joy last longer. Malleus was really feeling stunned by those emotions. What you thought had been anger and indignation were, in fact, agitation and confusion. He himself didn’t know what to express at that moment.

But when he held out his hand to you — which you accepted promptly, without hesitation — Malleus just said:

“There are no coincidences…”

For the first time, Malleus said your name.

And so, with a slight swirl of his hand, green fireflies appeared around you and suddenly, you two were no longer there. Grim woke up from his sleep on the couch, only seeing a light green magic in the place where you previously stood facing Malleus. But he just shrugged his shoulders and went back to sleep peacefully.

Lilia didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the situation. He must have expected something strange when a gentle thunder strike announced Malleus’s arrival in Diasomnia, bringing you by the hand — and your expression as someone who never magically teleported was priceless. But you seemed anxious about something.

Or Malleus was anxious and you were just being infected by that feeling. What happened was that Malleus snatched Lilia from the kitchen — to everybody’s general joy — and led him to his room, where they could talk alone on that important topic.

Once the situation was explained, you didn't have much else to do other than wait for that old fairy to pour a little wisdom and hope into that strange coincidence. But yet Lilia wanted to have a little fun.

“I don't know if I understood it very well. Can you sing that song for me?,” he asked, giving a pointy smile.

You could feel Malleus inflame his nostrils next to you, a bit of smoke escaping. He must have sensed that his mentor wasn't taking any of that seriously. And you just wanted someone to explain what was the big deal in all of that.

Yes, it was strange just the two of you knowing an oddly specific song word for word but, you had seen strange and absurd enough things to be alarmed by something like that.

“Do you want it from the beginning?,” you asked.

“Oh, does it have a second chorus?”

“Yes,” you both answered at the same time, looking at each other shortly after.

Lilia stifled a laugh with his hand.

“Please... lovebirds.”

Those words made your heart miss a beat. You stared at Lilia and his smirk, not knowing how to react. All this time you tried to take your feelings calmly and subtly, living each day with Malleus as if in a fairytale slowly turning page by page.

But, apparently, you weren’t as subtle as you imagined. Malleus also seemed to give Lilia a look, censoring him. Then you took a deep breath, pulling yourselves together. Malleus sang first and out of pure habit, you moved your lips accompanying the verses engraved so firmly in your memory:

“In your transparent eyes, I became my ‘true self’ after we met,” you immediately continued and Malleus recognized your words. “If I love with a free heart, the pain also disappears...”

You turned to each other, more amazed by the way the melody didn’t change and your hearts led you to sing the same thing.

“I must become strong to protect... you…! My precious dream.”

“Like once upon a dream,” you said without taking your eyes off Malleus.

Was it all real? Was it happening right before your eyes? You breathed some air to ask Malleus a question, but Lilia interrupted you.

“How beautiful are soulmates! An old acquaintance told me about it a long time ago but I never thought I would live long enough to witness it with my own eyes,” he got up from his chair, floating around the two of you.

“S-soulmates?,” you repeated, surprise.

“Never heard of it, little human?”

“Oh, we have something like that in our world, but it's just to say that two people seem ‘perfect’ for each other…”

“Well, here it is something much more complex! Malleus, you didn't explain anything to your friend?,” Lilia inquired with another wide grin.

Malleus moved away from you, suddenly losing all his excitement. Worried about him, you followed him to the second window of the room that was right next to a dragon made of stone. The sky was dark, laden with gray rain clouds that grew stronger as the painful minutes passed by.

You gently touched Malleus’s shoulder, which made his gaze pass from the melancholy world outside back to you.

“I feel like you want to tell me something,” you said, having sounded as docile as possible to make him open up comfortably. “Is it... about this soulmate-thing?”

“ If I tell you... you will cease to be my friend and will turn away from me, disgusted with your cruel fate. This curse that fell on you without you even knowing.”

“I'm not leaving, Malleus. I promise.”

You held his hand, your gaze resolute and determined. Malleus was surprised, it was the first time you called him by name. If only you wanted to call him that for the rest of your lives. Even if you pass away someday, Malleus would echo your words in his mind as if spoken for the first time.

Could he dream about it? Maybe he shouldn't. You deserved so much more than the future of stones and thorns he could offer.

“In truth, I really owe you an explanation,” Malleus sighed. Thunder sounded in the distance, but your eyes didn't leave him. “The myth of soulmates was once very famous a millennium ago but, over the centuries, its fame has been diminishing and today many cultures understand it differently or no longer recognize it at all. In the Valley of Thorns, the ancient tale says that two souls are linked by a song. A song that only they know and have never told anyone.”

“Where have I seen this before?,” Lilia playfully muttered.

“These two people can sing either way, but the lyrics will remain the same. If they create more stanzas, nothing will change. In a mystical way, the other soul will have that same inspiration. In some versions of the most popular fairytale in the valley of the fairies, a princess found her prince with a song they knew together.”

You didn’t interrupt Malleus at any time, listening to him attentively and respectfully. Nothing could take away your focus at that moment.

“Which means: we're both soulmates,” Malleus finished.

“You say it like it's something bad…”

It was a loud thought you ended up saying, catching Malleus’s attention immediately. He stared at you, confused.

“But it's not...? For you? What would make you happy to be stuck from the eternity of time to someone like me?,” he asked.

“Just talk to him,” Lilia said, more serious now while softly massaging your shoulders. “I'll leave you two alone.”

And so, Lilia disappeared. You had no choice but to face Malleus and confess your feelings, especially when it was obvious that he had no hope that you would love him back. Which wasn't true.

“Malleus, finding out that you are my soulmate does make me happy,” you said, getting a surprised look from him. “If there is anyone in this vast world who would leave me jumping with joy that we are connected forever... it would be you. Always you. I love you, Malleus, and there are no powerful forces in this world that can tear us apart.”

“It takes a lot of courage to say that... my love,” Malleus couldn't help but smile, holding your face gently. “Even though the future is treacherous, I am happy to know that I have you by my side. I think now I understand what I felt I was missing all this time.”

“I know how you feel. I also know that I may not be able to do anything fantastic, but I hope my simplicity is enough.”

“It is, dear. Always was.”

You smiled, tilting your head to feel Malleus’s hand on the side of your face. His skin was cold but strangely comforting. Perhaps because it is the most concrete version of any dream you have dreamed of you being together.

The song you shared has always been there in your mind, a unique melody like Malleus’s love. And now, you could sing it together. It was a feeling of joy beyond all comprehension.

“Is something going on?”

“THE YOUNG MASTER IS TRAPPED WITH THAT HUMAN!,” Sebek's voice echoed behind the door, scaring both of you.

“They just proposed to each other, Silver... and I would very much like them to finally give a kiss of true love!,” Lilia emphasized the last sentence, trying to feign subtlety.

“Like in fairy tales…”

Silver’s calm comment made you laugh. You just couldn’t help it. You looked at Malleus and he smiled too, a little embarrassed and anxious. He would pick on those three for interrupting your private moment — unless you could improve his mood with that expected sweet, wonderful kiss that only soulmates can exchange.

For the first time, Malleus forgot about the gargoyles he wanted to show you that night.

"Shoulda' held your hand..." They bring his hands up to their lips, softly pressing them against his. "should've gave you all my hours..."

"When I had the chance."

Malleus blinks. and blinks again.

"What... child of man??? We have plenty of... time?"

"Yeah, I just... my mood is like- is like sad bro, I'm just feeling moody rn and I wanna serenade you to a Bruno Mars song. Is that okay?"

A soft giggle escape Malleus' lips as he clasps his hands in theirs. "You never fail to fascinate me, child of man."

"So, it's a yes?" You gaze up at him hopefully, where he gazes back down at you, fond and sweet.

"Feel free to do as you please."

For the Malleus thing: it's overexposure on my answer. Malleus is a main staple character that has a lot of fans compared to say: Cater or Kalim. Of course, Octavinelle matches in turn for numbers with Malleus but Malleus also has a dedicated shipping fandom that are so attached to him that they cause... problems.

Shipping is fine in moderation but when I see enough people start fighting that this fictional character is "their" man and not someone else's OC, I know Malleus has had too much time in their head or something warped him. I like shopping and run a sort famous /Reader blog for all genders, and that gives me insight into who people kinda want on that side and Malleus is very famous. Shipping aside, Malleus also has such diehard fans that... they forget his CHARACTER!

Malleus' fandom is the same as Octavinelle (woobifying/creeps flooding in) and now bleeding in Savanaclaw (creeps flooding in/racism against dark skinned OC's): the story is revealing that Malleus isn't gap moe and is an actual character that can do wrong, and hurt people... and they HATE that. I've seen four people drop Malleus like a hat because he was didn't understand what he was doing wrong in the Dorm Uniform. Malleus has had a rigid set of understanding of creatures and it's very straightforward instead of nuanced, and even Malleus admits that he wants to try and projects that his advancement on human understanding will only take 100 years. That's fair considering he's been in the human world for 3 FREAKING YEARS, guys. I believe if we were given how long it took Lilia to understand a human customs outside of Silver experience, it'd not do anything to people's opinions. Because to them, it's not about him learning. He doesn't know so he's obviously a BAD CHARACTER, that must be it! "He's a jerk and now I'm going to do a 180° on my own Malleus opinion that is all over my blog and gave my followers whiplash, starting a bashing war by actually not doing a proper review of his character!" No. That's unfair. Why?

Malleus is an interesting character and I'm so sad that he's gone so far into the fandom that he's been woobified and there is no self warn anything: no disclaimer that this is a more romantic Malleus compared to the canon one, or people admitting that Malleus might be OOC as his character reads so incomplete because they write him so... wrong? I think my real problem is the tail end of fandoms that radicalize and throw Malleus around as something he isn't, and that's okay to a certain degree (my /Reader blog acknowledged that Malleus is a canon as I can do without just being Readers buddy, which he's more likely to be in canon). It's just... people are too radical, I think.

I fear the wars this man will create when Chapter 7, Part 3 shows he's got more flaws then he does. I can see a Rook Chapter 5 happening. :(

But I'm not all pessimistic, I know the right fandom should be encouraged and the minority should be ignored, so I know whatever Yana/Aniplex gives us: I support. I know common artists, writer's, editors are all doing fine and I interact normally, but I hate the "drop him" culture these games have in the EN side.

Oh no I get you.

Malleus by himself is an interesting character in his own right, without needing to be steeped in fanon.

I do think that because he was left to stew on his own with pieces of content to hold Mallelikers over, people ended up turning him into their own character to fit their own needs.

And in some ways it's kinda meta because that was something he was trying to escape his whole life so that he could be welcomed by those around him.

I'm usually not as steeped in the fandom as I used to be what w college and stuff creeping up but I'm genuinely sorry that everyone has experienced some form of harassment from both sides of the fence bc one hc didn't fit the other's or the argument of whether his character is good enough or not.

It's disheartening to see others get jumped because of how strongly they feel towards a character and its horrible that you have to endure that on your page anon.

I'm honestly praying Malleus doesn't go through what Rook went thru because that moment is still be felt to this day due to how decisive it was 😭😭😭.

And it's funny bc Rook not choosing Vil was supposed to give Vil growth, who was so hard pressed on winning to the point that he'd contemplated killing his opponent and subsequently Overblotted. The point was that Vil wasn't supposed to win because it'd feed into him. It was a lesson.

With Malleus' Dorm Vignette, I'd argue that him summoning the other dorm leaders was a long time coming considering they weren't doing any affirmative actions to ensure that Malleus could attend. He brought them to him because it was the only thing he could think of; he's not good with technology, time is a construct to him, and no student is willing to approach him for the fun of it unless it's to get smth out of it. It was mostly an act of burning the village to feel its warmth tho it wasn't out of malicious intent.

In the end I can reason he was still partially wrong, he only considered brainstorming with Lilia [and Lilia, a jokester that he is, encouraged him.] Instead of talking to Crowley.

But I do think that Malleus being the poster boy has led to him being so oversaturated in the fandom that a lot of his personality is lost in translation once more.

I liken it to Ace Trappola. Fanon!Ace played up his worst traits to the max without allowing the nuance of his character growth to shine thru. Luckily, Ace is in the recovery period but the same cannot be said for Floyd 😭😭😭.

My most basic observation is that popularity takes the nuance out of characters and I'm hoping against hope that Chapter 7 shows a new side of Malleus that sets the record straight bc as someone who loves character studies watching Malleus get chopped and screwed is 🥶🥶🥶.

Honestly, I love that he’s so silly 😭 He’s this big, scary guy - one of the most powerful mages in the world, and yet he loves his Tamagotchi, and he pouts when he’s upset, and he’s so cute and happy when he infodumps about dragons and gargoyles, and he’ll gladly eat ice cream three meals a day. I just love my son so much 😭

one aspect i wish more people understood about them

Ahh, prior to Ch 5 dropping, I’d seen a few posts going around twitter and whatnot that wondered if Mal maybe doesn’t like Silver all that much (like, that maybe he was really jealous of Silver because of how Lilia treats them differently, and he doesn’t like him that much in general). And while I do agree there’s likely a very deeply underlying sense of jealousy in his heart, I never doubted that Malleus loves Silver fiercely. I was very glad that that became much clearer with Ch 5, and I’m seeing a lot more people now realizing just how much Mal loves Silver. So the one aspect I wished more people would understand about him has kind of been resolved now lol.

2. Judging by how he talks to Gao Gao and how he talked to the gargoyle in GloMas, I like to think he normally just talks to inanimate objects and animals like they’re people. I’m also a firm believer in the HC that he would just talk to baby Silver as though he were a whole adult, and he’d have one-sided convos with him while he played chess with the baby and read really advanced books to him fkjdfhg

3. He doesn’t like having his tail out in his two-legged form at NRC ‘cause he found it scares humans too much. But he leaves it out when he’s in BV since the people there are used to seeing it. He probably mostly wears robes and flowy garments back home since it’d be easier to walk around in with his tail out.

one character i love seeing them interact with

I adore all his interactions with the first years! He’s so cute with them and you can tell he does enjoy talking to them, it’s just that people are usually so afraid of him he doesn’t often get the chance to do so. He was so cute with Epeppy in GloMas, with Ace in his bloom bday vignette, and with Deuce on various occasions. My very favorite is whenever he interacts with Ortho! They’re super cute together in Mal’s Scary Dress vignette, and they mention each other in Ortho’s Union B-day vignette and in Mal’s Bloom broom b-day voice lines. (In the former, Ortho picks Mal to bring to a deserted island so that mal can protect him from lightning, and in the latter mal says ortho gave him some goggles that can “transport him to other worlds” but he wonders if little shroud tricked him ‘cause he doesn’t see anything when he puts them on (so ortho bought him like vr glasses but mal probably didn’t turn them on 😭😭)).

I imagine when Silver was teeny tiny, he obviously wouldn’t have understood the concept of social stratification, so he probably just looked to Malleus as his older brother or an uncle type of figure. And Mal loved that, because there are so few people in his life who just love him for him and who don’t treat him differently due to his great power and his position as crown prince. And so it hurt him deeply when Silver got older and started distancing himself from Mal once Silver realized that he was supposed to be subservient to Mal. But Mal never talks about it though, he just keeps his sadness to himself.

hi anon!! my friend lyza requested for malleus ex head canons so you can check that out for him. i answered for floyd, leona, and sebek in this post.

SEBEK ZIGVOLT

sebek honestly doesn’t understand how to handle a breakup. it’s something completely foreign to him and he thought it was only for humans to experience.

his first instinct is to not tell malleus or anyone for that matter. such an event is probably disgraceful and embarrassing. a break up? even though you were on amicable terms? it still proved that he was an inadequate partner and that’s the most frustrating thing for sebek.

when lilia learns of this, he tries to comfort sebek. sebek doesn’t deny the fact that you guys broke up but he insists that he’s okay. he’s not in emotional distress or anything which lilia finds highly unlikely.

sebek is all about emotional repression. he wrapped all the emotions up in a little box then shoved it into the closet. how is he supposed to keep watch over malleus while being emotional?

in the long run it prevents him from moving on. he struggles with moving on because he hasn’t confronted nor felt his emotions. and it eventually becomes a detriment to his relationship with you.

he’s a walking disaster.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

leona’s never leaving his room. he keeps himself locked up where not even ruggie can get in. furthermore, he rarely leaves his bed. it’s very hard for him to get up out when all he can feel is the weight of his sadness.

ruggie has to have jack break into leona’s room so they can drag him out by his ankles from his bed. leona is his normal grumpy self when it happens but the air has a hint of sadness to it that just seems unfamiliar.

this is also one of the times where he actively goes out of his way to spend time with his nephew. cheka provides him a well needed distraction plus he’s a child who doesn’t notice the heavy cloud of depression weighing over his uncle’s head.

it’s kind of cute actually with how cheka cheers up his uncle. it’s just simple babysitting things but the kid keeps him up and out of bed which is entirely necessary.

the next time you see leona, he looks quite disheveled. to be fair, he hasn’t left the bed in a while. but it’s progress. he’s slowly learning how to manage the depressive episodes post-breakup one episode at a time.

ruggie wishes there was an easy cure for leona.

FLOYD LEECH

a lot of people say that floyd’s mood swings are already bad enough without any stress. that’s how he is naturally. so imagine adding a stressful breakup on top of it.

you guys broke up because of floyd’s mood swings. you couldn’t keep up and it was draining. endless energy, constantly flipping back and forth. you were not having the instability. and it only caused the mood swings to become more unstable and a lot more frequent.

floyd’s angry. he’s a lot more irritable than he normally is and his moods easily devolve into anger. he threatens people a lot more but especially the first years. so they’ve learned to do what floyd says to avoid getting the life squeezed out of them.

floyd’s hurting a lot on the inside. but he doesn’t cry sad tears. instead his tears are angry. there have been few occasions where people have witnessed the angry tears during his mood swings. but usually the tears are reserved for jade and azul only.

floyd is a lot different from his brother’s reaction and it’s up to jade to keep a look out on the more, clearly, emotionally unstable leech brother. you’re lucky you haven’t witnessed any of it.

squeezing things is a lot easier than processing after all.

This is the final warning to scroll away for your sake, because I don't know if you will be triggered or left uncomfortable with this.

So. I recently I watched a thing called "Twisted"; a story about the Untold Story about the Royal Vizier, it's a very mature version of Aladdin but it's Ja'far's point of view. It's also to mock the movie I believe?? Idk.

But one of it's songs, "Twisted" in specific, caught my eye.

I'm a big fan of TWST (obviously, you can see it by my blog/account) but the song had... Interesting information and I'd like to analyze it.

So, if you decided not to watch or listen to the song, let me sum it up for you:

Aladdin convinced the Sultan that Ja'far is a sorcerer and the Sultan believed him. Ja'far ran away because they were planning to execute him. But then while he's being sad, the other Disney "Villains" (Ursla, Scar, Gaston, Maleficent, Hook, and Cruella)

Why am I air quoting the villains?

Their parts in the song reveal their true intentions and why they are the way they are.

Ursla was a good ruler, but overthrown by her brother, aka Ariel's dad, due to him believing "women should be seen and never heard" (exact line from the song) but she just wanted continue being a good ruler but became a "villain" to get what she lost due to her brother.

Gaston loved Bell and wanted to save her from the "buffalo monster" (his words, not mine) and thought it's unhealthy that she fell in love with the said monster. It is. And it's called Stockholm Syndrome. And if I'm honest, he's got a point. It is unhealthy that she fell in love with a capturer.

Scar was progressive. "Both hyenas and lions lived in perfect harmony" (exact lyrics) but his brother, aka Mufasa, ate his cubs and made him and the hyenas go back. Which is probably the reason he hated Simba, Mufasa ate his cubs and yet he got a cub. He just wanted everyone to be in harmony, yet his brother didn't listen.

Maleficent didn't get much but she got the fact she wanted to be included and invited to the party. "I only wanted to be invited to the party." (Lyrics).

Neither did Hook but he had a point, "I just wanted to teach the boy responsibility!" (Lyrics) and he's got a point, he wanted to teach the lost kids how to be responsible and he also said/sung, "I never knew my father!" (Lyrics) Which is probably implying that he just wanted to be a father figure to them when he never had one.

Cruella... She only got one line and she said, "I only wished to have a coat made out of puppies!" And yeah. Nothing much to say about her.

Now. Why am I bringing all this up? Is it because the musical was great and genuinely made me cry? (It did but that's not the point here)

I would've said cuz connections but there is none. Instead, I'm giving a AU idea.

Azul's cousin is Rielle (or in my case, Ari) and they, Rielle, stole the lounge or something like that when Azul was supposed to have it. Cue Azul overblot pt. 2

Leona is Scar obviously, but it does make sense in this AU that he hates kids. He got his own kid(s) who were y'know... Killed... By his brother. But he also just wanted to live in peace, it doesn't happen.

Gaston is Coach Vargas. I don't really know what to say about him?? Like Stockholm Syndrome... For his lover... I guess you can make a Male! Belle (listen my gay uncle Vargas hc is here and you can't stop me) fall in love with the Buffalo guy who kidnapped him and Vargas is just watching like "Bro.... No."

But for Maleficent... It's already canon for Malleus so it doesn't count.

Hook doesn't have a canon character. But it's implied that the fairies are like Tinkerbell and stuff so... Idk.

Cruella and Crewel... I don't have anything for the two. They're already practically the same... Minus the puppies.

But what about... Ja'far and Jamil? Aladdin dude in RSA probably convinced (more like manipulated but go off Ig.) the Sultan aka Kalim that Jamil is untrustworthy and must be executed. Kalim didn't agree but his parents did so Jamil had to run away before the execution. With Kalim's help of course!

And here we are. The unfortunate paths of them.

Family day but ships

Oh god that'll be so chaotic

Riddles bois- Floyd or the others are always by riddles side when his mom is involved and drag him away the minute his mom says anything remotely rude. Caters siblings are just there for the tea and everyone of them is now adopted by Floyd's parents and also Cater said multiple times, "So when are you gonna file that restraining order because it's aay too far way rn, lovely."

Epel 5- Cheka is there so he just goes and hangs out with the Epel 5 for the day since his dad is all caught up talking with the other royal families. Cheka brings up that kinda makes him sad and Ruggie gives him a hug and says, "Hey, were your family now, you don't need to be sad about that." Jack then picks him up and puts him on his shoulders. Epel, Ruggie and Deuces parents have now adopted their new nephew as family and the family day is just happy

Rookvilneige- they spend the day with Rooks family solely because they wouldn't let Vil or Neige leave cuz they had so many questions. Not that Vil or Neige minded because it got them away from the press and Vils mom. Vil completely forgets the time until someone mentions it and Rook just shrugs, puts his head on his bfs laps and goes, "Well, I think this is just as much family as we need, don't you agree, Mes amours?" (My loves) and Vilneige smile, nod and go back to watching a sitcom with Rooks siblings while they just go, "Awhh!"

Idiazulmal- Mrs Ashengrotto has officially adopted Idia and Malleus (Ortho too ofc) and she sorta reminds me of this one Yuri on ice hc that I read where Yuuris mom would refer to Victor as her son and it would make Victor so happy because he didn't really have that with his family. Ye, that's Idia and Malleus if we didn't count his grandma. Everyone is so confused when they see Malleus talking to her any other time like, "Now my my boy isn't giving you any trouble is he?" "No ma'am, he would never." While lil Malleus helps her carry in groceries (I just realized the house is prolly underwater.. they own a on land house now)

Jamikaliace- Yeaah they mainly just sneak off and hang out with Najma and Rashad because Kalim and Jamil don't wanna deal with the royals alot today and after the events of the Ace fanfic... Aves family relationship has been rocky. When they walk into Heartslabyul, they find a cake that Trey made in a container and on the lid was a note that said, "If your family is being crappy, just know that Heartslabyul is your family, we love and care about you.-From Trey To- Ace, Kalim, Jamil" and all of them had the biggest smiles while they ate that red velvet cake

If any Diasomnia students or any of Silvers partners are not getting that same love for who you are, I am your dad now." - The octopus man would be lying if he said he wasn’t bothered by you never speaking to him. His mind was a jumbled mess between being worried you didn’t trust him enough, and being upset at himself for not being trustworthy.

- Was it his constant deals with people that made you wary of him? Maybe the hidden clauses in his contracts that his victims patrons failed to see?

- Either way, he knew there was some reason why you spoke to other people but not him, and he was determined to find out why.

- That is until he was sitting in the VIP lounge, eyes half closed and waiting for you to come visit him the way you did every night. He didn’t even realize he was dozing off.

- Had he really been lacking on sleep that much?

- “Azul. Azul?” He heard a soft voice questioning his name, eyelids softly flickering open and looking toward the source. Your eyes shining back toward his barely even registered in his sleepy mind.

- “Yes?” he replied. “Sorry, I must have dozed off-” He paused.

- Wait what? Suddenly, your peculiar boyfriend was wide awake and had a look of bewilderment clouding his face, turning as red as a tomato in the blink of an eye. You actually spoke to him????!

- He had to regain his composure, hand quickly moving to push his glasses back and clearing his throat before asking, “Lets go on our date now.” He wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable, but you could tell his excitement.

Idia Shroud

- Another man who didn’t really mind your quietness. In fact, he quite enjoyed it since he wasn’t very talkative in most settings (and when he would go on rants about his interests he knew you would be the first person to listen without distraction).

- Part of him wondered why you didn’t speak much: Were you just shy like him, or did something happen in your past that made you wary?

- You were sitting in his room gaming with him, you both continuously getting into silently-spoken competitions of “I can totally beat you in a 1v1 Mario Kart.”

- So far you had been beat by your endless-gamer boyfriend every single round… but things were starting to look up for you when you got to Rainbow Road! His coordination was all thrown off because you just happened to practice this map every night alone for absolutely no particular reason.

- “YES! I beat you!” you exclaimed happily, surprising Idia, his face and the tips of his hair instantly beginning to turn red.

- You had finally talked? Should he point it out or will that make you shut down??? Should he just move on and pretend it never happened or would that make you sad????

- There was only one alternative he could think of. “..I beat you on the other 3 maps.” You gave him a defeated look.

Malleus Draconia

- Malleus couldn’t help his simple romantics, but one of his biggest wants was to hear you speak to him. To reassure him.

- Or maybe he was just interested in hearing how beautiful you’d sound. He’d met so many people through his life who were similar to you, that only ever spoke to certain people at certain times.

- He tried to not put too much thought into it.

- You two were taking a nightly stroll, something you did probably twice every week just to spend time together. Being an heir made your boyfriend very busy, and being a servant to the crazy enslaver Crowley made you equally as busy.

- He was telling you about his day, something he often did to make the walks more interesting for you.

- You enjoyed it no matter what.

- Then he tripped over a rock, epitome of grace and significance falling down in front of you, hands barely managing to catch himself. “Malleus!” you had shouted out as you rushed for him. “Are you okay??”

- He looked at you, slightly ruffled up from the tumble, staring you in the eyes as he stayed sat on the ground.

- “Pardon?”

- “Are you okay?” you repeated, quieter and unsure of yourself. Your boyfriend nodded, grabbing your hand as you held it out for him.

- What a gentle noise. He’d ask you to repeat yourself a million times if he could, but for now you’d both walk again in silence.

Golden Like Daylight | Diasomnia

Synopsis: Malleus couldn’t make it to the party in Scarabia that Kalim invited him and, as usual, Diasomnia falls into quiet sadness and frustrated thunderstorms. He thinks about all his parents taught him and how the world can really be cruel sometimes. But after the most violent storms in the nightfall, there are little glimpses of daylight as well.

Golden Like Daylight

Malleus has been alone for much longer than anyone could have imagined. Born into a family of noble blood, all he could remember from early childhood was a lot of people around him, caring and watching over his well-being. His parents always had a glimpse of his special power and told him stories of the glory days of the Valley of Thorns.

But the more time passed, this special and happy atmosphere ended up like wood consumed in the fireplace. Lilia’s presence was one of the few things that truly remained unchanged.

The Lady of Thorns’ gaze grew colder every day. The countenance of the Lord of Thorns, direct son of the Queen, harder than stone. Malleus wanted to believe that they didn’t ever realize how much they left their son aside to deal with the affairs of the kingdom — without rest, just gathering together at dinner. Still, he was almost always aside.

Not that he didn’t understand why. His father worked as second-in-command for the Queen and his wife dealt with diplomatic issues. It was amazing how a place so isolated from the world could have so many problems.

It was only a hundred years after the Last Great Fairy War and they were just organizing the policies of coexistence with neighboring human villages and trying to maintain the peace between the two fairy valleys in which a lot of blood was shed to achieve.

As a prince, Malleus had everything at his disposal. Toys, books, comfortable clothes, access to quality lessons. But he had only one wish. A simple, even silly wish.

“Go outside?,” his mother repeated his words in a confused tone.

The Lord of Thorns took his eyes up from the treaty papers of the new diplomat of the Valley of Flowers, Florian Braginsky — which he was being forced to read — in order to face his son.

“Malleus, why are you talking about this?,” he asked.

“I wanted to see what the eastern mountain village looks like, it is near here. Lilia could take me there.”

The sound of his former tutor’s name made the Lord’s blood boil. How revolting it was to see the man who taught him everything he knew lower himself and abandon all his ideals, those he used to deeply believe. He was right when he said, that night a hundred years ago, that Lilia had lost more than one wing in the Battle of Dornröschen.

“I do not see why you should go. There is a cruel and terrible world beyond the mountains that surround our kingdom. Not even among our own can there be anything greater than mere alliance. These fairies should be grateful every day for the good fortune of being in our presence and keep living,” the Lord of Thorns put down the papers on the table.

The hard thud made Malleus cringe a little. His mother took the papers and arranged them better in a perfect pile.

“Malleus, you know that our species is very rare and therefore, it is not surprising that the other fairies fear us. We don’t want these people to say bad things about or to you. Therefore, above all, you must stay in this castle,” she said to her son, perhaps not as docile as she thought her tone would come out.

The marriage between Mephisto and Tauribeth was, as with Malleus’ grandparents, a way to keep the dragon-fairy species alive. There were really few such families around the valley, the most powerful House managed to rise to the throne — and these were the Draconia, the center of everything being the Queen of Thorns.

Still, Malleus wondered how the most powerful and feared fairies should need to hide from others. Malleus knew about the scars that the human kingdom nearby, now not so numerous, had made in the fairy valleys. His species was one of many clans that still held grudges against them.

However, he wasn’t going to a human village. It was a place inhabited by faeries. Lilia would be next to him, he would be well protected.

“No more talking about it,” his father cut off before Malleus could try to argue once more.

“Yes, sir my father.”

There was a brief sound of doors opening and, for a moment, Malleus had a glimmer of hope as he saw his grandmother enter the dining room. The air around her was heavy but elegant, full of ceremony and honor. As a queen should be — what the young prince should have become from there many hundreds of years ago.

In general, the Queen of Thorns was a little more compassionate to the wishes of her grandson than his parents might like. However, this didn’t mean that she didn’t share the opinion and hesitation of keeping him inside the castle rather than showing the kingdom beyond the heavy wooden doors.

‘Well, well, well,” she said as she sat down on the other side of the table, in a large, thorn-adorned chair just like the one her son was sitting in.

The Queen looked tired and perhaps a little frustrated that Lilia was planning yet another future trip abroad — a distant and sandy land, something alike — in yet another of his usual “whims”.

“What were we talking about?,” the Queen of Thorns asked.

“Nothing, madam my mother,” the Lord said, giving his son a sideways glance to remain silent.

But Malleus had already given up hope of mentioning the village he wanted to visit again.

Over the centuries, he began to wonder at certain times if his parents were not right. Well, they were no longer there with him to face him and silently state how obvious it was. That realization was a sad thought two hundred years ago, not so much nowadays. It was neither time nor age that mattered in the present to Malleus.

The day before, he had been invited by Kalim to a party.

And it folded as it would usually happen: Malleus missed the event due to a mysterious circumstance. Sometimes he didn’t really notice the time, other times others forgot about him.

At the time, Cater forgot to tell him that Kalim’s banquet night had been rescheduled at last minute to that same night. Since Lilia had orchestrated for Malleus to participate in his place, he also couldn’t have known about this sudden change.

In order to help Malleus make friends on his own, things got complicated. As per usual.

Because of this, strong thunder crackled through the skies in Diasomnia and a torrential rain fell on the outskirts of the castle, becoming a misfortune for any student who was outside the dormitory at that moment.

Lilia would like to say that the situation wasn’t so bad because Malleus distributed all the treats and souvenirs he bought in Sam’s store to the students, but his aura didn’t change at any time. Each gift was delivered as if they were objects rescued from a disaster or belongings of deceased soldiers being returned to their families.

It was undeniable that Malleus had a special sense for gifts of the highest quality — of this no one dared to complain. Sebek’s voice competed with the storm outside in all his praise of his generous veteran and sovereign prince.

But Malleus was still in his worst “Nihilleus” form.

Nothing made sense, everything was worthless. That was what his eyes of emerald flames said, burning low. How many times had he been through these situations? How many more would you have to overcome before fate is satisfied with his humiliations?

The world always abandoned Malleus, and he no longer strove to try to hold its sands in his hands. In his thin, light marble fingers there was only loneliness. The nothing. His grandmother sometimes held those same hands and repeated the words of their family.

A Draconia can only trust a Draconia. A fae can only owe to a fae.

He was alone in that vast world that pushed him away with fear and distrust. Just like his father said they would. Malleus sighed, asleep in his own thoughts as he sat on the sofa in the Diasomnia lounge. The place made him feel at home — but sometimes, that was exactly the problem.

His parents were right. He would never leave the confines of the royal castle. He should not, that was his world. The only place where he would be safe and well received. Still, none of this comforted him. Not only would he be completely ignorant of the human world and the other fairies around him, he would be alone.

Always alone, as if trapped in a long night of eternal sleep. For eternity, eyes closed. The rest of his semi-immortal days would be a mere drop in the greatest of oceans. Would he ever die? Impossible. Few things can hurt faes, especially dragon-fairies.

Sitting on his throne of thorns, nothing could reach him. Not even death. Much less life.

“Malleus-sama? Could you teach me more about this gargoyle?”

Malleus awoke from his deep thoughts as if awakened by a kiss of the dawn. Soft morning rays passed gently across his face to bring him out of that dreaded darkness. Thus, Malleus faced Silver who was holding a miniature gargoyle in his hands.

Ever since Lilia had brought that little human into their life, Malleus had wondered what his parents — mainly his father — would think of Silver if they could have had the chance to meet him.

Silver with his crystalline eyes, lilac as the most delicate wildflower. Dedication to the prince of his people — because he was raised among thorns — in every action. A human he could trust.

Malleus knew Silver had pity for him, but there was something in his mercy that didn't make him feel completely ashamed. He then noticed how Sebek continued to praise him, his words worthy of the best books in the Royal Thorns Library. Nearby, Lilia gorged himself on sweets.

A small smile appeared on Malleus’ face almost at the same moment when the rain outside slowed down.

“Well, Silver, this one is a pretty simple model, but…”

Malleus always felt good about talking about gargoyles, maybe that was the benefit Silver had in mind. He remained silent and paid attention to Malleus’ words as much as he could — at least, to understand part of the matter. Soon after, Sebek joined Silver’s side as an avid spectator.

“Um, it reminds me that I had saved some cookies that I made last night,” Lilia suddenly commented. “Let's rock this party, boys!”

The young fellows suddenly jumped off the couch to go after the old fae, trying to convince him that he didn’t need to do this — and “the wise words of the Young Master about gargoyles will feed our hearts enough!!”, as Sebek said.

Watching them closely, Malleus let out a soft laugh. He was incredibly grateful for the company and patience of those three.

They were golden like daylight.

The thin rays of sunshine that appeared after the gray clouds of rain stopped its dreadful crying, slowly making it into a new time to step outside. Of course it wouldn’t be enough forever. Malleus needed to learn more about the world around him, make new friendships and understand the purpose of his own existence.

But sometimes all he needed was his family. Maybe not exactly his grandmother or his parents. Just Lilia and his awful cooking skills and jokes. Just Sebek being this tall, endearing and energetic child. And just Silver being like the morning dawn, sleepy but gently welcoming to view.

Not his servants or soldiers but his friends. Malleus’ friends. Precious lives he loved with all his heart.

Special notes: yes, this is a tiny little reference to “Daylight” by Taylor Swift. It was meant to be a Silver fic, then turned out to be more suited for Malleus, then it just got too deep… And I’m planning on doing a little omake about Lilia’s cookies. I just thought that randomly inserting some comedy would break the flow here (and it would be too long lol), so I’ll let it for another time. But thanks for reading 🩷
