‘Jug said you’d be here,’ Sweet Pea said in lieu of a greeting. Usually, the abrupt start to a conversation would amuse Allie, would make her roll her eyes at the familiarity it hinted towards. Today, however, she merely felt hollow, and no amount of South Side charm would help. ‘Allie?’
‘Come to gloat?’ she asked in little more than a whisper. Her attention remained resolutely on the butterfly sitting carefully on a flower, wings slowly flapping the only sign that it was real and not a photograph.
‘Gloat about what?’
‘About being right,’ she said, hearing the sob behind her own voice as the emotions crashed over her once more. ‘About Archie…’ She shook her head forcefully. She didn’t want to believe it, believe that he was capable of something so stupid, so reckless, and yet all the evidence…
‘Allie,’ Sweet Pea said firmly, finally drawing her attention his way. He crouched so their eyes met, held her gaze. ‘I came to make sure you’re OK. I don’t give a crap about all that.’
Through her tears, Allie tried to look at him, to figure out if he was being earnest. But then, in the time she’d known him he’d been nothing if not frank about things, sometimes to the point of harsh bluntness.
A sob escaped Allie as she flung her arms around his neck and hugged him close. He was stiff, uncertain for a moment before his arms wound around her waist and he pulled her closer for a hug she’d desperately needed. In that moment he was her anchor in the uncertainty of everything, and she was grateful to have someone there when she’d needed them the most. Grateful that it was Sweet Pea rather than someone who might try to remind her that Archie was her twin, someone who might expect her to be OK with everything because of that fact.

🖊+ Allie Andrews
Younger twin to Archie, Allie half wanted to go with their mum when she moved, but also she didn’t want to be away from her brother and her link to him won out (if she was older, she’d totally head to see her mum whenever possible… If she ever tried to go, which she probably did, someone stopped her from getting on the train). She absolutely adores maths - and she likes art, so when she can mix the two together she’s her happiest. She can ramble about how Picasso used angles and things for an age; she has to be stopped from going too in-depth about all those kinds of things, and sketching parts to try and highlight how impressive it all is.

Timestamp 15:38 — "What if they laugh?" "He won't laugh."
In one of the final drafts of the script (PDF link found here), Claire's line was "they won't laugh"; here, she clearly says "he won't laugh."
I personally like that Claire said "he" and not "they." It means she saw that Andy and Allison were interested in each other, or at least that Andy was interested in Allison, and instigated the makeover partially to help the pairing. It gives Claire an actual reason to give Allison the makeover and makes the scene feel more genuine and sincere; in comparison to the completed film, where Claire gives Allison the makeover out of nowhere.
Also, in the aforementioned final draft, while Claire is giving Allison the makeover, Andy asks Brian a few questions about Allison, further establishing what the completed film already showed — that Andy was interested in Allison way before the makeover.
[Yes, people, despite what some of you may think, Andy did show interest in Allison before the makeover, even in the completed film — he tries to get to know her, he reaches out to her and empathizes with her regarding her parents, and he stares at her when she isn't looking.]
I really wish the Andy/Brian dialogue was a part of these deleted/extended scenes.

Emilio Estevez as Andrew Clark in The Breakfast Club (1985)
★★★★★
“He has good reflexes and is a great athlete, he ends up in detention all Saturday in school with Allison, Claire, Brian and John. The latter initially hates him because he can't stand his arrogance, but after a whole day he understands what the problems of his fellow punishment are and changes his attitude.”
