God I wish I could remember what Oda once said about mothers in One Piece... EPISODE TWO KURT’S BRAIN - INTERIOR

Kurt’s obsession with fashion went back a long way. It was part of a more general appreciation of beautiful and material things, which he’d had since he was a child.

Kurt suspected that this early aesthetic education was responsible for the direction of his own tastes. Things were beautiful to him in inverse proportion to their accessibility: a logic which struck him as childish for its fetishisation of impotence. But the 90s were about not growing up. Tobi Vail used to say it was because of his parents’ divorce; they’d get into screaming arguments about his attachment to what she called the ‘bourgeois and patriarchal trap of success’. Kurt was hurt, but he did agree that he wanted these things as signs that he had made it. Not to the American dream that Vail despised him for, but to some indefinable sense of a future, and this was the only one he could imagine.

Such feelings were deeply unfashionable, and got in the way of the punk recklessness that had first attracted Vail, and which she held at arms’ length, an accessory to complete her image. Not that he minded them not interrogating these desires together. Kurt couldn’t put it more eloquently than this, but it felt both good and bad to dangle from her arm. To be used the way a man might use a beautiful woman. No one had read any Judith Butler yet, so Kurt could only say: Tobi’s riot grrl feminism made him feel like a woman, but it also made him know he wasn’t one. He was part of a group of people who obstructed people like Tobi, who’s desires stood in the way of her liberation. These wants stood for his involvement in patriarchy; women only wanted these things because men wanted them for them.

But Kurt didn’t care, he dreamed of being turned into an image, into an adornment for the grrls, the gyrls, the gworls of the future. He dreamt that his name would become a secret call passed between women in chokers at parties in lofts and warehouses in metropolitan areas of the United States. He dreamt of a teenage starlet gaining fame in a tv show where she wore his dirty bob for an audience too young to remember his music. He dreamt of the expansion of the internet and forums on which users would share photos of him and argue about what he wore and what he said.

He didn’t tell anyone these dreams. Unlike the house and family, these were just for him.

man one thing idk how to feel about is the trans men you periodically see weighing in on 'lesbians who fuck men' discourse, usually pretty young people who dont have much experience, desperately insisting that lesbians can be attracted to men because their lesbian girlfriend says so. look I'm not trying to be mean but you need to realise she doesn't see you as a man. she sees you as a woman, or basically a woman, and that's why she likes you. if she was attracted to you as a man she would have to reconsider her feelings about men. if it's just you, that's because she doesn't see you as one.

Strangers: Homosexual Love in the Nineteeth Century by Graham Robb - this book is a treasure trove of well researched information. A lot of queer history focuses on men and I really appreciate all the stories about women in this one. It’s 20 years old and by (as far as I can tell) a straight author, so there’s some limitations - a total lack of awareness of bisexuality and trans identity - but I really enjoyed it regardless. There’s also like four pages where he discusses Sherlock Holmes as an iconic gay protagonist that changed my brain.

Fanny and Stella by Neil McKenna - a heavily researched story of two trans femmes in Victorian England, the crossdressing trial that scandalized London, their sisterhood and surrounding community, and the love triangle they were involved in. It’s written in a VERY fun and gossipy way, with a ton of primary sources, and is such a compelling story! This author also wrote a book about Wilde I haven’t read yet.

Gay History and Literature by Ricor Norton - it’s a website, not a book (I can’t find his books except at really high prices!) but it’s an obsessively compiled list of…basically…what it says on the tin. There’s a collection of gay love letters and newspaper clippings that are fascinating to read!

The Portrait of Mr. W. H. by Oscar Wilde, heard of him? This is my favorite Wilde story! It’s about the theory that Shakespeare’s sonnets were written to a young man, and how the desire for proof drives a man to death, and the frustrations and joys of looking for yourself in long-dead writing.

Before Queer Theory: Victorian Aestheticism and the Self by Dustin Friedman - reading this book felt like making my brain lift weights, but it was really interesting - it’s about the Aesthetic movement and how modern queer identity began in the nineteeth century.

Maurice by E. M. Forster (not technically Victorian but close) is a story written in 1913 about gay love (published in 1971 and dedicated to “a happier time” 🥲). It gave me some ideas about how a confession could play out. Plato’s Symposium is used as a pickup line, of course.

Sometimes it’s important to know when to let a show go. 

When 13 regenerated into 14 and had her clothes burnt off like a witch on a stake, sending a horrible message about women and gender RTD came out and said he did it to protect David from right wing media. Then the fans defended David coming back and that RTD would address why he had that face and why the clothes also regenerated, although I was upset with 13s regeneration I thought ok I’ll wait and see how this get handles. Because even though I don’t like the real world messaging maybe the in world messaging will be enough to make it ok.

But then what happens? We get a trans story for the very first story with very positive messaging for trans issues which is great but undermined by the fact RTD wanted to protect David from gender critiques by the right wing but didn’t seem to want to protect Yasmin Finney. So first David can’t wear Jodies costume for protection but then RTD has Yasmin live through being deadnamed in the show which she herself has said made her uncomfortable and then also gave her character the line of telling the Doctor to not assume pronouns… which any of the characters could have done but RTD chose Rose and then what happen? What always happens with the right wing, the pronoun line and the male presenting line are the ones that the right wing all go on about in every video, in every article… they deadname the character and then misgender and say horrible things about Yasmin… so RTD protects the 50+ year old white man who’s worn way more feminine things then 13 outfit in his career the media could use if they wanted to go after him but don’t protect the 20 year old Trans Woman? How people aren’t talking about how fucked up that is I don’t know.

Then we get no reason why the Doctor has that face and why the clothes regenerated on them. Then in their own regeneration… they don’t! They bi-regenerates and this time Ncuti does get the Doctor clothes, well half of them… why didn’t 15 regenerate with their own clothes? No instead we have the new Doctor walking around with no pants on… and why is it that 15 has to go pantless and not David? are we protecting David again? Perfectly fine to have a bunch of pics of 15 in his tighty whities and no pants but again David could not be seen in 13s full gender neutral outfit. 

Then to top all this off theres no mention in the loves lost of Yaz… even though the Doctor chose to drop her off in a park 3 days ago after telling her if they could Date anyone it would be Yaz… is that not love lost? Was saying good bye to Yaz not an emotional trigger? Now people are saying thats because only the dead were brought up… Rose is not dead unlike Yaz Rose is not only alive in another Dimension but also got herself a Doctor… Yaz currently is mourning the Doctor while they cant even seem to remember she existed despite dropping her off 3 days a go… so they weren’t all dead… however Rose was over 1000 years ago and Yaz 3 days ago… what hurts more the lost of someone you loved but who is still alive from 50 years ago or the one you lost last week? What makes logical sense is the love you lost most recently hurts the most… and people dont need to die for you to hurt losing them from your life if you love them.

Now we have 2 Doctors and people are already saying they can’t wait for David Tennant episodes, so if you think the 10th Doctor overshadowed the other Doctors when he was no longer the Doctor how overshadowed do you think the first main Doctor of colour is going to be when lots of peoples favourite white Doctor ever is also a legitimate Doctor in universe existing at the exact same time with a TARDIS? Ncuti doesn’t event get to be the only Doctor during his tenure he has to share it with David.  

The lastly no mentions of Yaz at all… seems shes completely forgotten and at the very end the Doctor says they are finally with their family the happiest he’s ever been… what a diss of every TARDIS team ever that the Doctor has found family with… your last crew you literally called your ‘Fam’, the Ponds you actually married into… Susan was your flesh and blood… but no this family you haven’t seen in 1000 years, of which only one of who was part of your TARDIS team are the ones you finally found family with and make you the happiest you’ve ever be? Literally at the exact same time the Doctor is sitting at that table saying all of that, Yaz is mourning the Doctor and not wanting to have left the TARDIS, but she doesn’t get a mention because for some reason if it’s a wlw relationship it means nothing and can be ignored completely. 

Honestly by the end the Doctor just seems like a complete prick, and not in a 13 I’m dealing with internal trauma and I accidentally snapped way but just in a I’m a shit person way. Talk about compromised morals, people wouldn’t shut up about it with 13 but the Doctor just left a young woman to mourn them while being the “happiest they have ever been” grabbing themselves a new family and pretending Yaz doesn’t exist. Talk about shit morals. People say Chibs didn’t know anything from 12s era, which wasn’t true it directly affected the way 13 kept the fam at arms length but after watching this clearly RTD didn’t even know what happened in the episode 14 regenerated from 13 in and the previous episode Legend of the Sea Devils, because surely if you did, you wouldn’t not mention Yaz at all and give a reason why the Doctor wouldn’t go see her while she’s mourning them and just grabbing a new family and claiming to be the happiest you’ve ever been in the 2000 years of life you remember. Because that would make the character look like a prick, not a hero, which is exactly what happened. If RTD is the amazing writer people claim, he could have come up with a Yaz mention and a reason why the Doctor wasn’t going to see her.

I know not everyone was happy with the wlw representation with Thasmin but you know what’s way worse? Not even mentioning it or even acknowledging Yaz’s existence.

And to top it off I am so very very over the double standard of the fandom… this episode, had plot holes, had important things that weren’t explained… like why that face and why did the clothes regenerate… things that weren’t explained that weren’t so important like where did the sonic screw driver come from, why can it do all the things it now does… it had racism from both the Toymaker and Donna… what on earth was that line about ‘do you come in every colour’, was paced poorly, it clearly should have been longer and decided to mess with lore by creating bi-rengeration out of thin air and not explaining how it would effect things going forward or why it even happen, like a true WTF… if Chibs had done even one of these things, or wrote this episode the exact same way the fandom would be coming for him instead they are praising the genius of RTD not caring about any of those things, all the sins they claimed Chibs did and some of them on a bigger scale in this episode but the treatment of RTD is the polar opposite. 

It’s unbelievably hypocritical, and makes the fandom look even worse for being so hard on the first female Doctor because none of this was acceptable for her but its not only fine but great with a male Doctor.

So I think it’s time for me to let this show go, and know it’s time to bow out. Because unlike the people who have been horrible about 13 for the last 6 years I understand sometimes you have to step away from something you love when its no longer for you and leave it for other people to love.

Taking a break from housework to express some thoughts on men before I lose it.

One of the most eye-opening things I’ve ever read was from a trans man expressing frustration at how capitalism/the patriarchy/toxic masculinity (etc) sort of prohibits close male companionship, plus now people of any gender who don’t know him treat him as a default threat. And he was talking about how that brings about this suffocating loneliness that he would never have known anything else if he wasn’t AFAB and experience with the inherent camaraderie of close female friendships.

And tying this together, I’m on hinge (a dating app) on and off, and with hinge, you can choose questions to answer in your profile. A LOT of cis men have “if you show me the bare minimum attention, I will love you” or some kind of variation. And maybe it’s just me or the type of women I’m attracted to, but I’ve only seen women with that in their profile once, if I remember it correctly.

I also think the idea that boys are the “easier” gender to raise is 1000% bullshit. I think that idea bleeds into how society treats boys and men as these emotionless creatures, which as the oldest of nine with five brothers is absolutely not true.

Idk I just think that’s like, really fucking sad? I’ve stopped saying stuff like “men are trash” because all I can think of is this horrifying loneliness these men must feel. And obviously it’s things like capitalism and patriarchy hurting them just as much as it hurts us, because that narrative really only serves the top 10%.

There's a chance those who work in the kitchen have to wake up a little earlier than the others to begin preparing the food.

And it tickles me to think there are probably many who surround him who address him as hyung.

AND! I know when he sees Jimin enter the cafeteria, he gets the hugest brightest smile on his face. If he has any say-so in the kitchen, he is making sure someone makes and serves the biggest pancake, best pork cutlet and gives Jimin a huge serving of pork and kimchi stew.

I think the organization of "promotions" for Fri(end)s was excellent. I am 100% sure Tae came up with the idea of having people he knows react to the MV. The fan meet that happened yesterday, scheduled Stationhead listening parties and the WKorea thing is pretty brilliant too where it appears he'll sing the song in a prerecorded clip to be posted soon.

I wasn't sure if we would be able to get the song to #1 on the iTunes Top Songs list but we did it! There were some big releases yesterday.

This Wednesday will be the 100 day mark for Jimin and Jungkook (Tuesday for Tae and Namjoon). I wonder if all soldiers reaching that mark immediately take their 3 days off (or however many days it is) or can they choose when they want to take it?

I'd like to think Jungkook would be able to squeeze in a little bit of time enjoying one of those $1000 bottles of whisky that we spied in his fridge. I would assume he'll also swing by the house construction to pick out colors and flooring and such. I hope they get to eat some really good food and see all the people they want to see.

I learned they've been conducting readiness training and drills this past week with the U.S. forces stationed in South Korea. The report I read said they've doubled the scale of their drills this go round. (big worried sigh).

rating regulus black ships!!

jegulus | 11/10 - i love them so much. when i rejoined the fandom in 2022 and saw how the ship had blown up in the years id been gone i was really confused, but then i read just lovers and was immediately convinced lmao. they are the epitome of sunshine x grumpy and i adore them both

bartylus | 5/10 - theyre not very compelling to me, but theyre not bad by any means. i think they work better as friends but i understand why people ship them. i just prefer other ships personally, but ive read many great fics with them too!

jegulily | 20/10 - im obsessed with them. i love regulus, james, and lily separately, but together they balance each other out. plus it helps that its a combination of my two most favorite monoamorous ships (jegulus and regulily), like whats not to like? theyre definitely a top tier ship

moonwater | 10/10 - they are so cute and so overhated! theres so much potential here, like they could be friends to lovers or enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers, basically any trope you can think of lol. and think of the angst! the drama! i love them dearly

regulily | 1000/10 - yall already know how i feel about these two! they are literal soulmates and i love them to bits. their personalities mesh so well and, this might be a controversial take, but they make more canonical sense than jegulus does imo (not that canon really matters in this fandom lmao). i could wax literal poetry about this ship i love them so much

rosewater | 6/10 - i have other ships i prefer for both of them but theyre still cute and i can see why people ship them. honestly its a similar situation to bartylus, except they intrigue me just the slightest bit more lol

regumary | 4/10 - im sorry i just cant see this ship. i can see their relationship being platonic but not romantic. i also think mary is a lesbian, which doesnt really mean much considering i also love the trans girl regulus headcanon, but most of the time when i see this ship its very cishet and just not my thing. sorry yall!

regdora | 2/10 - i just cant see this ship either. its not bad necessarily, i just see the relationship between regulus and pandora as that of a sibling relationship. no hate to people who ship them, its just not for me lol

rosestarkillerchaser | 6/10 - i understand why people ship them, its combining three popular ships (jegulus, bartylus, and rosekiller), but im sorry i just cannot see james dating barty and evan. im not hating on people who ship them and its not bad by any means (i like them more than most other ships involving evan & barty) i just dont actively ship them. ive read some good fics tho!

rosestarkiller | 5/10 - similar situation to bartylus yet again, its just not compelling to me. i think regulus works better with evan & barty as his friends rather than lovers which you can probably tell given my other ratings lol

blackeclipse | 10/10 - ooooo i love them. all the best aspects of jegulus, moonchaser, and moonwater in one, its elite. james brings the buoyancy that regulus & remus need while regulus & remus help keep him tethered. they work so well together and i love them all dearly

xenoreg | 8/10 - a crackship ive come to enjoy recently! definitely a weird x weirder kind of ship which is the best. oh to be a fly on the wall of the slytherin common room when regulus told barty, evan, and dorcas that he was dating xenophilius lestrange, ravenclaws resident conspiracy theorist (pandora, of course, would have been overjoyed to have someone to trade ideas with)

regulene | 7/10 - they intrigue me tbh, like marlenes brashness and regulus’ coldness contrast in just the right ways. theyre like fire and water and i love that. plus the potential for a quidditch rivalry is phenomenal, especially considering that they could both be the seekers for their respective teams. theyre kinda similar to dorlene imo

regulilylene | 9/10 - im gonna be honest here i think i made this ship up, but i really like their dynamic. marlene and regulus are on the opposite extremes of hot and cold and lilys right there in the middle to keep them grounded, she evens them out

Okay so I rewatched Nimona again and I need to rant about a few things:

1.

This shot absolutely broke me. Imagine seeing a whole kingdom, something so grand and complex - built on the hate for you. Every single thing built on hate (watch the names of buildings, like Vanquisher Square and Slayer Aide). When Nimona (in her shadow form) is moving through the kingdom, you see her stumble on and then watch the Kwispy ad. The kids are saying "I killed a monster! I killed two!". Pair this up with Nimona's "Kids. Little kids. They grow up believing that they can be heroes if they drive a sword into the heart of anything different." Imagine hearing cheerful, happy ads with children - but they talk about how they will kill you. Little kids - the ones who are pure and innocent - are taught to hate you.

2. Gloreth. During Nimona's backstory scene, you can see that Gloreth always looks back before she makes any decision (before letting her hair down, before walking up to Nimona after seeing she's a shapeshifter). And when the village goes against Nimona, you can see that Gloreth is constantly looking at her parents, especially when they tell her that Nimona is a monster. She always glances back. Like she can't decide for herself, can't think for herself. Quite symbolic for how hate is taught (like I talked about above). (Also her name is literally Glory plus that -(e)th that was used in English in the past).

3. Ballister and Ambrosius' roles are quite symbolic. (For Nimona) Ballister represents your loved ones, family parents and their relationship with you. Ambrosius represents society, the government. That scene where Ballister presents Nimona the scroll is such an on point scene about your loved ones finding about the fact you're different (trans in this case). Just watch the dialogue closely. It was one of the last straws for Nimona - the pain of having the only person who cares about you suddenly turn on you. And then she goes into her shadow form - to end her life. And when Ballister sees Nimona he says "What have I done?". Represents the realization of parents about how much their words and actions actually mean.

Nimona tells Ambrosius "Come on, man. Do the right thing." Asking society to do the right thing by not hating and discriminating anyone who's different. Ambrosius says "What are we doing?". The realization of how damaging the hate of society is to an individual.

Ambrosius' design is light, while Ballister's is dark. Ambrosius is the pinnacle and peak of society's expectations (descendant of Gloreth). Ballister is the pure opposite, everything that breaks tradition and society's expectations.

And Ballister and Ambrosius' relationship is also interesting. You can see their motives when they act - Ballister acts out of feelings, morals and love. Ambrosius acts by law, tradition but also love. And their love might represent that society and every individual person can work and live together for the better.

4. Nimona's symbolism of shadow and light. When Nimona shifts, she does so in a form of light. She is a being of pure light. Her heart is made out of light. She often shifts to a child, someone innocent and pure. But her "monster" form is pure shadow. And she goes to pierce her heart of light through the sword. Represents that all the hate got to her - one can take so much hate before it gets to them, before it shapes them. Nimona pretty much acts cool about her shape-shifting: she spray-paints the dude who calls her a freak, unplugs the kid's toy about destroying monsters (destroying her), jokes about it etc. But it must have piled up over the course of 1000 years. And by destroying her heart, the only remaining source of light, she takes away the hope and love she had left. When she sacrifices herself, her remainings are little sparks of light. And in the end, when Ballister goes to their lair, it's a shadowy place. But he opens the windows, turns on lanterns - letting light pour in. Because Nimona was a person full of light, love and hope.

A royal escape

With the help of his best friend, Robin, and Eddie, an acquaintance of hers, he finally gets the chance.

Steve hated almost everything about his life. And he knew it sounded incredibly entitled, from the outside it looked like he had the perfect life, as the Princess of Upside. But it was what the public didn't see that made him so miserable. The way he couldn't live his life as the man he knew he was. The way his father ruled every second of his life with an iron fist. At times it felt like he couldn't have a drink of water or use the bathroom without his father's approval. It made him dream of the chance to escape, to be free.

His chance came during a royal tour. A stop in a small town close to the border with the two neighboring countries, Hawkins and Lenora. When his father was less focused on him and more focused on showing a good face to the public. At a time they were all dressed down, to try to prove that they were normal people, just like everyone else. But it also made it easier for Steve to blend in. When his parents, the staff, and most of the crowd weren't looking, he was able to slip through the throngs of people and broke into a sprint as he reached the other side, thankful that, for once, he had been allowed to wear jeans and sneakers instead of impractical skirts and painful heels. He had his route planned out in his head, having spent weeks pouring over maps, with the excuse that he wanted to learn about the places they were visiting, figuring everything out with Robin, a musician who had played for the family, and his only friend. He snatched the backpack Robin had hidden for him, quickly pulling out the items that were to be his disguise. A massively oversized hoodie, to hide what he was wearing and his figure, and a hat for him to tuck his long hair into. He would have much preferred to have the chance to change fully, and even cut his hair. But time was of the essence, he needed to get away before anyone started looking for him.

As he ran, he started looking out for the getaway driver Robin had arranged for him. She'd given a clear description of a dirty white van that was to pick him up away from the center of town. He spotted it idling on the other side of the road, and just sprinted straight across.

"Are you the guy Robin sent?" He asked through the open window, getting a good look at the man in the driver's seat.

"Sure am. Hop in." The guy said.

"Thanks." Steve climbed into the passenger seat, and the van was moving before he'd even shut the door behind him.

"I'm Eddie, by the way. Let's get you out of here."

"Steve."

"I know, Robin told me everything. We'll be crossing into Lenora first before going to Hawkins, to help keep the border guards off your trail. You'll need to hide in the back before we reach the border, help keep the suspicion down." Eddie explained.

Steve just nodded, unable to form a response. He sat for a few minutes in the passenger seat, trying to catch his breath from the running and the adrenaline of the escape. When he felt a little more normal, he let Eddie know before climbing into the back, hiding among a pile of boxes and blankets.

Steve was aware when they reached the border, as Eddie's driving slowed down into a very stop and start motion. He held his breath when there was a tap on the window.

"ID and purpose of the visit?" A guard asked.

"Running errands. My uncle needed some stuff picked up, I need some stuff from Lenora, so I killed two birds with one stone and made a day of it. I'll be heading home from Lenora tonight." Eddie explained, and Steve was surprised at how smooth it was.

"Mind if we check the back?"

"Sure thing."

Steve held his breath as he heard movement, not wanting anything to give away his presence. He could see a small amount of light streaming in through a gap as the back doors opened, and could only wait anxiously.

"Everything seems alright." The guard said. "You're free to go."

Steve let out a sigh of relief as the rumble of the van moving started up again. He stayed in position for a few more minutes, until Eddie said that it was safe. He crawled out from the back, and pulled himself back into the passenger seat of the van.

"I just need to grab some stuff, then we'll be heading into Hawins. You won't have to worry about the border here, the guards are much more chill." Eddie said. "Then it's on to the first day of the rest of your life. Robin will meet us in a few days."

The first morning staying with Eddie, everything felt strange. He'd met Eddie's Uncle Wayne, who didn't seem to care that Steve had appeared without an explanation. It was the getting up when he wanted to, not having to dress up before leaving the bedroom, instead going downstairs in his borrowed pajamas. Eddie and Wayne were already up when he went down.

"Morning, Steve. Coffee's in the pot if you want some." Eddie called.

"Thanks." He mumbled, shuffling over to the kitchen. He poured the coffee, and gulped half of it down. It wasn't the best coffee, but the freedom made it taste better than any other.

He joined Eddie and Wayne, and his attention was caught by the news on the tv.

"Back to the main story. Princess Stefania of Upside went missing yesterday during the royal tour. The current belief is she was kidnapped-" the tv shut off.

"It's okay." Eddie whispered, squeezing Steve's hand.

"Don't worry about anything, Steve. You're gonna be safe here." Wayne added.

And there was something about their sincerity, their warmth, that made Steve believe them.

HELLO I DID A THING

So y'all remember that blorbo contest from last week? Yeah, me too. I was originally going to draw something of Nimona, Ambrosius, and my oc, Charlotte (Ambrosius's half sister) cheering for Bal during the contest. Then I had homework and didn't have time, but I still wanted to draw something.

AND SO, 16 HOURS AND 9 MINUTES LATER, IT WAS BORN. FEAST YOUR EYES, MY FRIENDS, ON MY NEWEST (master)PIECE.

I looked at MANY references for Ambrosius, Ballister, and Nimona (and even Charlotte because I can never remember how to draw her face). I did my best but this was my first time drawing canon characters (along with an oc) in a really, really long time. Also, I ran out of layers, so that's why that banner looks like shit (absolutely no other reason). It probably isn't clear, but Charlotte is sort of nudging Ballister's arm while he laughs at Ambrosius's antics and flirting. And yes, Charlotte's taller than him (I kept calling her and Ambrosius "the twins" even though they aren't twins). I should also like to dedicate this piece to @sir-ballister-boldheart who was (at least according to my feed) leading the charge for Bal during this poll.

Was really worried I wouldn't do Nims justice, but I actually really like how she turned out. And no matter what you headcanon Nimona as (trans, genderfluid, etc), she'd definitely support both and so I gave her some little pins on her jacket. Also, rings. I think she'd like rings. The little design on her skirt thing is meant to resemble Charlotte's tattoo because they're buddies and Nimona is Charlotte's 1000 year old little sister.

Charlotte is Charlotte. I like this little casual outfit for her (drawing is just a way for me to play dress-up with my OCs, honestly).

THE MAN OF THE HOUR. I didn't give him the exact outfit that he wears in the movie, but I'm well aware that it's pretty similar. I was out of creative juice last night (I finished Nimona today when my creative juices had been replenished).

AMBROSIUS, MY DEAR. My fav. I literally gave him a sister because I love him so much. Tried to make him feel like his usual goofy self. But also DAMN HIS HAIR. WHY IS IT LIKE THAT? SIR, I'M GOING TO SUE YOU FOR THIS HAIR.
