In general I suggest just searching "miscecanis" or "a/b/o lifestyle" (since they're the most popular tags here) and looking at some of the recent posts now and again, and then following blogs that consistently catch your eye.

Regaurdless, here (under the cut) are some blogs and the general vibe of their accounts, what to expect, etc, to help out!! (Hopefully)

@beta-adjacent is one of my mutuals and posts a lot of cool a/b/o stuff- they Reblog other unrelated stuff too from time to time.

@omega-floof is great. Lots of worldbuilding-esque posts which is SO FUCKING RAD. Sometimes has nsfw content but in a very like, clinical way?? It's not porn is what I'm saying, nothing is described it's just like "oh and then they breed lol"

I have no idea how to describe @pack-the-pack , but I can say that this account rocks. Just like….just look at it. I'm sure they can do a better summary or someone else can but sometimes I struggle to describe things. LOOK AT IT look

@transiota is also a mutual and is really cool!! They post a lot of alpha and intersex-a/b/o content, the latter being a rlly specific niche haha. they also post unrelated content there, and sometimes post suggestive-ish content too tho I personally have never seen anything completely nsfw. (I could be wrong though). They don't tag their posts either so if you have a trigger or if you want to avoid discourse than tread carefully or just look at their posts when they get reblogged or show up under #misecanis.

@omega-puppy has a neat account, again I'll give a heads up that they post nsfw on their acc a lot, but it's not exclusively nsfw; they have other posts too. We aren't mutuals (they are following me though, hi!!!) but I see them in my notes a lot and tend to reblog a lot of their sfw or close to sfw text posts. From what I've seen I think they're poly/have multiple mates, but if I'm mistaken I'm sure it'll get cleared up in comments/reblogs.

Last but certainly not least, @transalpha-coining . They're inactive nowadays but they have a TON of treasures stored up on that blog if you're willing to scroll through it. Headcanons and flags and explanations of worldbuilding stuff, plus they used to take asks/requests. They even invented words for things, like "kappa" as an omega version of "feminine", which regardless of whether you like the word is definitely a super cool thing to do. They're one of my all-time favorite miscecanis blogs so if you have the patience to look through their old posts, definitely do.

Exams are coming up. Instead of studying, I wrote some silly thoughts I’ve had about my LPS humanizations. Because that’s more fun!

Disclaimer, these are just my personal perceptions of them- feel free to disagree on anything.

Ready? Let’s go!

-First, let’s mention their sexualities. Sunil is pansexual, Zoe is bisexual, Pepper is also bisexual (with a preference for women), Penny is asexual and heteromantic, Vinnie is also bi (with a preference for men), Minka is aroace, and Russell is demisexual.

-All their colored hair is all natural. They just live in a world where human hair colors varies a whole lot more.

-Musical instruments? Ooh, yes! The ones that are most into music are Sunil, Penny, and Zoe. Zoe sings (pff, duh-) Sunil can play guitar- both electric and acoustic, but he prefers electric since it sounds cooler. Penny is learning piano. As for the others? Vinnie did drumming back in high school (he and Sunil would even play together sometimes) but he doesn’t as much now. Minka likes the smaller, portable instruments- idk how to describe it, lol. The stuff like triangles, maracas, tambourines… Meanwhile Pepper and Russell just aren’t into playing music that much, but will cheer the others on.

-Russell’s canines are a little sharper and longer than normal. The others like to joke that he’s a vampire because of it.

-Penny has a collection of stuffed animals. Her favorite is a blue-purple panda (which is literally just the actual panda Penny Ling from the show lol-)

-Minka has a fascination for bugs. Going out and observing them, collecting them, studying them- girly just finds bugs interesting.

-Contrasting with Sunil- he has a big big fear of bugs. And Pepper loves to exploit that fear. Most of the time its just playful scares involving plastic bug toys. Or pretending a bug is on his neck or something. While to her, his reactions are funny, he doesn’t think the same.

-In terms of money, Zoe is the most well off among everyone. Her parents are super rich and have spoiled her throughout life. So she does the same to her friends. She’ll just buy them extravagant, expensive gifts out of nowhere. Of course, everyone is friends with her beyond that, but it’s a neat little bonus.

-Pepper is super particular about smell. She owns several different perfumes, colognes, deodorants, sanitizers… Which one she picks depends on her mood for the day.

-Oh hey, more Pepper. When she gets nervous, she’ll sweat. A lot. Kinda adds onto the previous headcanon listing; she’ll use all this stuff to hide the odor. Sometimes she’ll go overboard though, and mix up different clashing scents together. so it becomes kinda strong and overwhelming.

-Vinnie can be super indecisive. Say for example, going to a restaurant. If he’s already been there many times before and already knows his favorite, then perfect! He’ll just go with that. But when it comes to new places… oh boy. He’ll take frickin’ forever to decide. So he’ll usually tag someone along to pick for him in cases like that (usually Sunil). He’ll probably end up liking it anyway.

-Minka wears crocs, right? And you can put lil jibbitz on crocs, right? Well, each jibbit on her crocs represents each of her friends- a banana for herself, a book for russell, a sparkly magic wand for Sunil, the same flower Pepper wears on her suspenders, a bow for Penny, a microphone for Zoe, and the same gecko foot print on Vinnie’s jacket.

Aaaaaand that’s about all I’ve got for now! Should I do more? Maybe even with more characters. Blythe? The other (humanized) pets? Do tell.

BUT UM. I haven't seen much archiving of this compared to the original card game, so when I found a copy on ebay I was like "screw it why not?". Feels like I've managed to obtain some kind of rare forgetten artifact lmao.

Anyway, I mainly just wanted to at least. Archive this somehow! I really wanna see if I can get a proper photo of all the cards at some point. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do so. Hey! would you recommend anything for someone wishing to make a dca au/blog? I have many ideas but also many anxiety

yeah - just go for it!!! post ur thoughts and headcanons into the void, see what resonates, and most importantly - have fun!

the fun thing about tumblr is that you can just kinda. fuck around and goof off and it's all good!

i personally love it when people just post little thoughts about au's they have, sometimes they elaborate, sometimes they don't, but it's still fun to see! it can inspire other people who might want to hop in and ask questions, or shyly point it in another direction asking "hey what about this? does this fit? would this be a neat path?" and it's so fun!!! sometimes it's nice to just throw an idea out there and see who it clicks with.

if you WANT notes, then just remember the first five tags on a post are the ones that are gonna show up in your search results. if your anxiety says "ooooh im not ready for that," then maybe spend the first four tags rambling, and then throw something like #fnaf or #fnaf dca in there for number 5, so that it still pops up but is a little harder to find. (i also absolutely recommend giving any au you talk about it's own unique tag for organization purposes, so that you can search for it on your blog later.)

general advice about having a fandom themed blog, tho - and thankfully, i haven't really seen this hardly at all in the dca fandom - SOMETIMES people are assholes who might come into your inbox and be shitheads about your headcanons or about ships you like. man, don't even bother with them! don't answer it, don't mull it over - delete it. you aren't obligated to answer asks, you can just toss 'em if they're mean or make you uncomfortable. and don't forget the block button, too!

that's about all i can think of off the top of my head! i used to try and keep my blog strictly to my own art/writing, but i'm having a lot of fun reblogging other people's art now and being able to yell at moots and artists in the tags. again - have fun!!!

Sense they weren’t specific with the tail, you had to guess. While I like what you did with the prompt, I would like to expand upon it.

Ink: You are now his living paintbrush. And blanket. And scarf. He will not stop cuddling with your tail, and fiddling with it when you two are just sitting around. He thinks it's really, really cool, and he will not shut up about it. Ever. He's also gonna occasionally show you off to people, just like "HEY YALL LOOK AT MY NEAT LITTLE PARTNER THEYRE FLUFFY". Dust: He enjoys it. He likes snuggling into your tail for naps and movie nights; and since he usually runs hot temperature-wise he loves snuggling into your tail in the place of normal blankets. Overall he's very sweet about it, and you'll occasionally find him shyly burying his hands in the fluff while you two are just hanging around.

Crimson: He's absolutely obsessed with your tail, he loves using it as a scarf and also as a fidget toy when he's bored or nervous. He finds a massive amount of comfort in the feeling of your tail wrapped around his wrist/neck/waist, because it's a reminder that you're safe and with him at any given moment. He even loves the fur you get on his suits-- having to set aside a shit ton of money for lint rollers is a fine exchange for a reminder of you wherever he goes.

Had a dream where your blog showed up at one point and there was actually a really neat concept in it and I figured I’d share bc you were the inspiration. So in the dream I was looking at ur blog and the top three posts were some picture of text reading THOAMES in all caps with an error line under it, a drawing of ghetsis with the words “fuck you” written on it, and the cool part, a drawing of hilda getting her hair done by professor sycamore (idk why him, it might’ve actually been N with black hair? dreams are weird) while they were both sitting, where her hands had black marking on them that you said were left by the black stone. The fingers looked like they were covered in charcoal. Also the caption said something about how “I’ve come to the realization that ‘what if everyone was a little bit boyfriend sometimes’ is actually incredibly based at times” and in the tags you said that “his stone carrying thing is going to be one of the most annoying things I’ve ever drawn” (referring to hilda I think?)

at one point when I was dreaming I think I saw the hilda art and sat frozen for a moment before my brain went “hey cool it’s milesverse artstyle” so I think that might have been a compliment? I hope it was, your art is very shaped (<-the highest honor I can bestow)

Greetings!!! Sorry this took a while to answer. Me or tumblr *glares suspiciously* accidentally managed to delete everything I’d typed mid-answer, and I have had A Week, so I’ve only just gotten around to re-writing. But hey, I’m here now and still excited about thunderpride!!! (and I think this is longer than the original!)

2- Queer ships for Thunderbirds? I love Kayo and Penelope together!

a) Their relationship is so interesting to me. (I haven’t actually read a huge amount of Kayo/Penny, so this is mostly from my own thoughts.) 

I see them as foils for each other in a way that brings them closer together. Penny and Kayo have very different backgrounds and outside appearances, yet they are similar at the core. Both are determined and devoted to their causes and ruthless when it comes to people they love being hurt. Kayo’s armour is in seeming dangerous, while Penelope’s in appearing harmless. A lot of vulnerability and trust would go into learning how to be together, but their relationship's greatest strength is not having to put up appearances, able to understand and be themselves with each other completely.

b) lesbians. Need I say more? (We always need more WLW in fandom!)

1- Headcanons! I’m going to answer for Alan, because I sure do have a lot of queer headcanons!

I absolutely love Alan being trans. Like so much. He’s a character I’ve become unexpectedly fond of with a side of concerned ‘oh gosh, he’s just a kid, who let the kid go out on space rescues?!’ The contrast between International Rescue operative and literally a teenager.

Alan going through the normal things of being a teen, figuring out gender, still in highschool, all the while flying around a rocket for International Rescue. Just the relatableness, of ‘yeah I’ve been there too,’ and getting to show him having a super supportive family, and the representation of him being a part of International Rescue who people and kids in and out of universe look up to! 

There are a bunch of amazing works from people in this fandom too! 

I reckon Alan really likes the word queer for describing his sexuality. He’s still young and figuring himself out, and doesn't want the pressure to define himself by just one narrow and constricting label. While questioning, he tried on a bunch of more specific ones, maybe bi or pan, but none of them really stuck. He likes people of all different genders and prefers the freedom of being himself as he is in the moment without having it fit into a neat box. 

14- Coming out!

My thinking is Alan only realised he was trans around 13/14. And I’ve accidentally written a fic here for you, whoops!

It's titled "As Sure As the Stars," about Alan growing up, figuring out he's trans and coming out! Much queer joy there!

For coming out as queer, it’s not a big deal but they still celebrate! Alan isn't exactly the first of his siblings to not be straight. Actually thinking about it, none of them are. This is Alan’s turn, for him to celebrate who he is and have pride in it. His whole family is there to show their support, like they are everyday, today just a bit louder. An excuse for a party is an excuse for a party! There is rainbow icecream cake flown in from the mainland on TB-One so it doesn't melt, and who let Gordy get his hands on glitter?! 

Alan grins every time he finds rainbow glitter in a crevice of the house. A reminder of his family’s love and support for him, in the enduring nature of sparkles!

My Dumb Thoughts on Higurashi- Onikakushi

The first of my Higurashi Reactions I started on Reddit, now with GIFS! These are basically the notes I put down of my thoughts after each chapter.( I'm not sure if long posts like this are seen as okay, so I may break up the later chapters for readability) [also spoilers for Onikakushi, obviously]

“Hey!”

Rue’s face brightens when Bucky walks into the therapy suite. Instead of startling, he stops and watches her. She’s in the middle of the waiting room, adjusting chairs in neat rows. 

“Miss me?” she teases.

“I heard you were out of town,” he evades. “Have a good trip?”

(He knows his questions are coming out stilted and cold. He wants to change that, but there’s something like resentment settled in him.)

“Yeah, actually my brother surprised me by buying me a ticket to visit.” She sidles next to him, pulling up pictures on her phone. “It was my nephew’s birthday, and then I stayed for Halloween. This is them.”

She shows him a couple and a toddler, dressed as zombies. Even with the face paint, Bucky can see the resemblance between Rue and her brother. The toddler looks more like his mother, both pale and red-haired.

“That’s cute.”

She doesn’t notice his flat tone - or maybe, she doesn’t acknowledge it. She continues, swiping through a few pictures of her nephew, and the last picture is of her, dressed like a butterfly with rainbow wings.

“The last time my brother was a zombie, he was five and I was eight, so I wore the same costume to recreate the moment.” She produces another picture of their younger selves, Rue wearing too much blue eyeshadow and blue wings and her brother looking pretty much the same as his costume now.

(He nods, his hands still in his pockets. He feels like this is a breach of privacy or professionalism or something. On one hand, he can admit he likes that her defenses are more lax around him now, but on the other hand, her conserved attitude would have been convenient right now. He feels himself closing off to her, and he tries not to ask himself why.)

“James.”

Bucky and Rue turn to Dr. Raynor. Rue quickly returns to tidying the waiting room, adjusting chairs and re-stacking magazines. Raynor eyes the two interestedly.

“Good luck,” Rue stage whispers as Bucky walks away.

In the therapy room, once they’ve settled in their seats, Raynor studies Bucky for a moment before asking what he knows she’s already going to ask.

“Are you and Ruby…?” He waits to see if she’ll finish that sentence. She switches directions. “You two seem… close.”

“We’re not.”

Raynor gives him a suspicious look. His face remains neutral despite the urge to frown.

“I hear you guys talking in the waiting room often.”

He didn’t know she could hear them, but her office is the closest to the waiting room. “Yeah, we talk sometimes. People talk.”

Her eyebrows raise.

“People do talk,” she jots something down, and Bucky wants to break her pen, “and she’s not the worst person to talk to.”

(He wants to lash out, say something inflammatory or defensive, but he knows Raynor wants to study his reaction - so he gives her none.)

“You know, when Greta mentioned a lot of people were disturbed to see her instead of Ruby, I didn’t think–”

“I wasn’t disturbed,” he defends immediately. She waits and watches. He purses his lips. “I just… didn’t expect her not to be here.”

“Right, right.” Raynor makes more notes. The sound of bending metal gives Bucky away as his fists tighten. Her eyes lift to his hands briefly before finishing her thought and putting her pen down. “A few weeks ago, we talked about trust.”

“Two weeks ago.”

“Yes, thank you.” She has a habit of long pauses. “And I believe I said something like trusting others can help you trust yourself.” She watches him for a reaction she’s not going to get. “For example, when you trust someone not to abandon you, you’re putting a little faith in them, but you’re also putting a little faith in yourself to get through the uncomfortable feelings of their absence because you have faith they’ll return.”

“Okay?” He knows he’s being difficult in a way he hasn’t presented to her before. Hostile. She, however, seems to thrive in this situation.

“So, maybe we can continue that exercise by putting ourselves out there.” She holds her hands up to Bucky’s protest. “I don’t mean something monumental like dating or joining a spin class or whatever. I mean, maybe, making conversations with a service worker or someone on the train…” She hits him with a cryptic look. “I mean, you’re already doing that with the receptionist.”

(He wants to tell her that he’s not just ‘making conversation with her’, that it feels like forming a friendship of sorts, but that would contradict everything else he’d said about Rue.)

He defends himself again, “Sam recommended this boxing gym, so I joined it.”

“Really?” Interest lights her face and her voice. Her pen flies across the page. “And how’s that going for you? How are you getting along with the other members?”

“Well, I have to go after hours, because of this,” he lifts his prosthetic. She starts to write again, so he rushes, “but I talk to George.”

She doesn’t even ask who George is. “That’s great, James - this is a really positive development.” She sounds like a grade school teacher commending a kid for not eating the glue. “Did you reach out to Sam to thank him or are you still ignoring his texts?”

Low blow. Bucky remains silent, fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket.

“You know what - baby steps. I think you’re doing an excellent job so far. I want us to build on this, at your own pace, tying ‘trust’ and ‘putting yourself out there’ - and I’m going to nudge you to meet more people, do more things. Make connections.”

(He can’t help what his face does, splitting into a sly grin.)

“Okay, explain that,” she waves a hand to indicate his face. When he schools his features, she says, “Okay, so either your fist connected with another person, or your Johnson did, so let’s get into it.”

Before he leaves the building, Rue catches up with him with the noisy clomping of her shoes.

“Hey, Bucky, wait up!”

(He doesn’t want to stop. Despite Raynor’s validation and reassurances, confessing to his sexual endeavors from the other night felt daming. She tells him it’s a good thing for him to answer his body’s messages, but because he hadn’t told her about the nightmares, she doesn’t know he’s not using sex to answer messages, he’s using it to ignore them.)

He slows and catches Rue by the shoulder before she can barrel into him. Her cheeks are flushed, her eyes wide and searching.

“Are we… good?”

(Whatever negative feelings he had been holding toward her dissolve at the way her voice becomes fragile.)

“Yeah.”

“Good.” Her smile is less tense. “Let me give you my number.”

(He knows her implications - so you don’t have to worry about me - so he doesn’t ask why. He also would not mind adding her to the other four people on his contacts list.)

After she recites her number, and he types it in, she says, “Text me, so I know it’s you.”

“Now?”

“Yeah.”

“What do I say?”

“I know you’re old, but people usually start a conversation with ‘hi’.” Her eyes twinkle at his flattened look.

Bucky: Hi

Her phone chimes, and she smiles.

Rue: Who is this?

She looks at Bucky expectantly and laughs at his confusion.

Rue: Jk, this is Rue

“What does that mean?”

“We have a lot of texting etiquette to cover if you don’t know what ‘jk’ means,” she laughs. “I’ll text you your first lesson when I get home.”

Bucky nods and sends her a text.

Bucky: I’m looking forward to it.

ofc king’s tide has a grip on me IT WAS A LOT (maybe if i just write about it more--actually i think this is the first thing i’ve posted about it specifically?)

ah ha it hits me that hunter and darius are the only kid-parent duo to have to directly suffer through the draining spell

like thank titan that luz doesn’t actually have to see eda suffer through any of the draining spell before raine saves her, though granted eda still looks wrecked afterward--and at least king is only half-conscious when he does see eda like that and doesn’t have time to even engage with it before he’s up and in adrenaline-fueled Emergency Mode; and gus doesn’t have to see his family get drained, willow doesn’t have to see her family get drained, amity at least leaves before she can see her dad get really drained--she may have left him in danger, but he was still on his feet and conscious and fighting

but hunter has to see darius get hit hard by the draining spell and not wake up even though he’s begging him to

jfc these two. my boys, my favs. cut them a break. they better get a long family vacation after this or the equivalent to that.

and while i do on some level actually appreciate that hunter and darius are actually the only kid-parent duo to really represent the horror of what’s probably a common scene around the isles at this point, of a kid trying to wake up their branded parent--something that at some point really did become a likely “must show” in the series, like if they’re triggering the draining spell, should get a scene where like a character has to try to reach another character being drained but it’s not working--and it’s hunter and darius who get that, further emphasizing them and their overall importance in the story

but still jfc. 

(oh and hunter and darius are the only kid-parent duo that both have sigils and are both literally suffering through the spell together, they’re both getting drained)

after the last episode:

I’ve been thinking about this, and now feel like i do want to share it, or share it in its own post since I think I mentioned it in a long Darius-centric AU post I made before. And hey, could still be good for fic.

Anyway, the line from Hollow Mind:

“Why does Darius look so sad here?”

That line does a lot in my opinion, but I also wonder given the context if it does even more--because Hunter notices that from an image in the surface level, deceptive area of Belos’s mindscape. And that place was largely about glorifying Belos--except Darius’s sadness is the only thing to really contradict that, and the only thing that was honest about that place. So I’ve been wondering--

Since Hunter sees Darius looking so sad inside Belos’s mindscape, can that imply Belos noticed Darius’s intense sadness, and could that mean that Belos suspects/knows Darius opposes him because of the previous Golden Guard?

Did Belos also specifically choose to get a lot of Abomatons because he suspected/knew his Abomination coven head couldn’t be fully trusted and wanted something to reliably and mechanically fill the Abomination void in offensive terms, just in case?

Has Belos been trying to keep an eye on Darius for confirmation of rebellion?

Just some stuff I’ve been wondering about. (And ofc it could be just a neat character/narrative detail that does a lot and was executed in an interesting way via Belos’s mindscape/etc.)

hii weird question. u mention drawing a lot, but i cant find any of your art? do you have an art account, a tag, or is it just that you dont post it?

im super big fan of all your gow posts they bring me light and joy so, just wondering :]

Hey! Glad you like my GOW stuff!

So I do post it, but it's a nightmare to find because:

1. I only started seriously drawing about a year ago so there isn't that much of it

2. A lot of it is posted on my Dragon Age blog because for a long time most if not all of it was Dragon Age

3. I don't have a consistent tag because... I don't think I've earned one. I'm not an artist so I shouldn't have an art tag, and if I did have one it would be dishonest. What I draw doesn't feel like art. I know it doesn't make sense but it's a thing

BUT instead of scavenger hunting or making you scavenger hunt down my drawings I'll just post them all here.

Here's my first idea of Hel (going to redesign her soon. The overall colors and placement of the skull will remain but otherwise she's gonna change pretty drastically)

Here're Freya's mythological daughters, Gersemi and Hnoss, imagined with Kratos as their father (part of a larger post that's ALMOST done)

A WIP of Freya holding Semmi and Hnoss as newborns (you might be noticing a pattern. I really like fankids)

(also part of that bigger post, was going to color it but I think I'm just going to finish the lines and then post it all. It's just taking too long)

And an Atreboda WIP that I've scrapped and restarted 7000 times and will probably scrap again so expect the final version posted in 2041. It looks like this right now

That's pretty much all the GOW stuff! Here's the Dragon Age stuff rapid-fire if you're interested. It's literally all FenHawke. Except for the one with Dorian and the Inquisitor that one was a gift for my friend. As you go from left to right top to bottom it gets older

And that's basically everything I've ever drawn. Like legitimately I can't show you examples from before 2022 because they are so few and far between and mostly just notebook margins. If you dug maybe you could find some doodles but 2022 is the year I started drawing. Honest to god started. From the ground up. I'm fresh as fuck

I know most people would say I can call myself an artist, call these drawings art, and have an art tag but I just. Honestly do not think I've earned it. I don't hate this stuff, I'm showing it to you because I'm proud of most of it! But I still do not think I've earned the right to any of that

I don't know what earning it looks like but I truly don't think I've reached it, and I know that's dumb, but it's very real for me. If people are starting to ask maybe I'll make one, even though it really feels like I shouldn't

Baiken threw her gender away for a hot minute and Bridget picked it up intending to give it back but than decided “...hey, this gender is kinda neat actually” and nicked a bit of it. I've been listening to a lot of discworld books lately and, if i can make a one sentence pitch for the series in general, it would be this;

Where many other book series have characters, Discworld has, in fact is filled to bursting with, people.

Or, To elaborate, because i cant help myself:

Characters are, at the end of the day, a way for an author to make a point or illustrate an idea. Characters are limited to what an author can think to do with them and that's that. That's not a bad thing, not at all, its the most basic function of a story to make a point or show an idea.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld has a lot of points to make and ideas to show, but the people in them are in no great hurry to do either. They'll get to it when they're good and ready and not a moment before. Thank you very much.

In the mean time they'll simply...exist. they'll have tea and talk about that odd thing that happened yesterday and be petty and awful and kind and deep and shallow and all the things people are capable of being in that casual sort of way existing lets you be.

And the wonderful thing is that Terry allowed them to do so, as much as they pleased. (Though I doubt he could stop them if he tried) He allowed his characters to become people, no matter if they were a troll or a dwarf or DEATH or a royal dragon breeder or a common as muck copper or a witch living in a cabin in the swamp or a wizard with luck so preposterous in both directions it could literally only come from the gods themselves having a laugh.

He allowed them to be kinder then saints, fouler then blood specked mud, and everything in between. He let them be fools with deeply ingrained wisdom, he let them be wise with foolish preconceptions that were very hard to kill. He let them grow beyond their prejudices, he let them sink into their bad habits.

Nobody is simple on the Disc, especially not the simpletons. Even the simplicity of people can be very nuanced, if you give it a bit of space to stretch its elbows.

They'll tell the story, sure enough, just wait a moment for them to live a bit first.

So. Yeah. Go read the Discworld books. They're great.

I can scream and cry about this whole conversation and how it demonstrates that deep down Ochako and Izuku are the exact type of hero; the kind who sees someone in pain, even someone doing wrong, and can’t help but want to save them, no matter what...but everybody else will do that and I really I just want to cackle uncontrollably at the fact that Deku’s instinctual reaction to hearing Uraraka getting talked down is to start listing all her good traits (mood deku) it’s so dorky and sweet just-

So of course we're all excited for the "loid and yor get missions to hunt each other down but don't know the other is the target" arc that seems almost inevitable for this kind of story and everyone has thier idea of how it would go so here's mine.

Loid and Yor have absolutely heard of Twilight and the Thorn Princess, the ghost like spy and unbeatable assassin, but each is convinced the other is a myth.

Yor: Someone who can infiltrate any secret compound, disguise himself perfectly as literally anyone, and get out without a trace? Have you been watching Bondman? That's just ridiculous!

Loid: Oh yes, of course. The supposed "Thorn Princess", someone able to massacre an entire gang of 50 people all by herself without a scratch, possessing inhuman speed and strength, who has never left anyone alive to tell of it. Anyone with half a brain can tell this is clearly a case of multiple people attributing thier actions to a single made up super killer to avoid drawing attention to themselves.

The irony that each of them have accomplished feats that most normal people would consider fucking absurd is, of course, completely lost on both.

alright, will reply in good faith because I believe being kind and patient is something that will serve me really well at this time, even though I know I do not need to justify myself

I am an adult. I post adult things on my adult blog. That includes other people's things and my own things too. I assume people interacting with me, talking to me and sharing my posts are also adults because, again, my blog is an adult space. I do not go out of my way asking for people's personal information and I try to not share mine either, internet safety! To sum it up: "hey I'm an adult and I engage with adult stuff, beware"

I'm nobody's parent. I did not sign up to be anyone's parent. I'm not being paid to parent other people. I do not want to have that kind of responsibility either. Out of courtesy, I always make sure to tag my adult posts properly, to give several warnings and ways for people to filter things they do not want to see if they choose to stick around for all my other general posts. I believe I do have a good tagging system so that people are able to filter since I post about anything in here. It got even better after the community labels were implemented so now the posts actually do not show up unless you click on them. Pretty neat, huh?

I have blocked dozens of people in the last 24 hours because of harassment and threats since I make adult art of children's cartoons and this makes some people extremely uncomfortable. In the same way, I engage and talk about kinks and other graphic subjects that also make some people feel uncomfortable or triggered, so I'm not everyone's cup of tea. That's fine!

it baffles my mind because all characters I draw graphic things for are portrayed as adults. People seem to take issue even when you age them up (I cannot even post explicit art in here anyway so why are these people going out of their way to make a Pixiv or Furaffinity account just to see drawings that make them uncomfortable or triggered?)

when I see art or other things/people I do not like or who make me uncomfortable I just block them! No discussion, no drama, no stress. I don't interact with them. I don't try to change their mind nor I try to make them stop doing whatever they are doing in their own space: "well this is not for me," and "I'm not the audience for this," go a long way to make mine and other people's lives much more harmonious

so.. what am I supposed to do here? I will not stop doing what I want to do however I want to do even if people take issue with it. Their personal issues are not my problem to solve, it's not my discomfort to work through either. I'm allowed to be here just as much as everyone else. Curate your own experiences and keep yourselves safe! If you cannot browse the internet responsibly without supervision, that's your parents/guardians fault, not the fault of strangers you might come across online

deciding to post this to the tumblr community to comment because this has started to frustrate me to no end.

i have an ex-friend who tried to sabotage me in high school (it failed because surprise! im a nice person who minds their business 99% of the time). she has always tried to get into some kind of singing as a professional career, whether it be songwriting, musicals, whatever. problem is she has no singing talent. because of this, she has decided to use the drag community to flaunt her “singing skills” and get the attention of as many people as possible.

before i delve into why this is an issue, let me explain: she is mentally ill. she did not have a good childhood. parents were also pretty shitty. i have tried confronting her before about this with a little “hey maybe seek therapy and/or meds, im sure all of your friends will support you” and she proceeded to tell me that all of her friends left her (supposedly because of this), tried 1 (one) therapist and found they “didnt help”, are on 3 different meds (????? okay. was this to brag to me or something? cool, i guess), and she wanted to keep this “private” (after posting it to all of her instagram followers to talk about her struggles). i tried messaging again with something along the lines of “therapy takes time and you might not have the right therapist, also all of instagram doesnt make this very private now does it” and i got blocked, of course. because she doesnt listen to any negative comments and instead cuts out those people from her life. sure, whatever, you do you hun.

my issue is this; ive been told she advertises everywhere she can that she is a Cisgender, Heterosexual Woman (cool) who is also a drag queen (not as cool). i would be cool with this if she was an ally, but shes sticking her nose into somewhere she shouldnt. because of the kind and acceptive nature of the drag community (and LGBTQ+ community and general), they took her in and allowed her to perform as a drag queen. her singing is still questionable, but now she’s parading around as what my town likes to think of as their very own LGBTQ+ drag queen icon that they can also flaunt to show our town isnt homophobic or whatever.

i would have no problem with this if she was a drag king! the point of drag is to challenge gender sterotypes, is it not (correct me if im wrong, but be nice about it lol)? but shes just…. putting on some makeup and a wig and saying “okay i can perform here now”. and you know how i said my town thinks she’s pretty neat? whoever organized the pride parade this year had her LEAD THE PARADE. and my nonbinary friend, who had just undergone top surgery, went to the parade of course because why shouldnt they participate in pride? they were damn determined to go lol. so then little miss pageant or whatever strolls up to them and their siblings during the parade and goes “omg hiiiiii do you remember me???” and “thanks so much for coming!!!!” as if it was her parade or something. like no. dont thank anyone who went. this is their parade, not yours. fuck off. but i cant tell her that. no one can, because she’ll remove them from her life. all we’ve been able to do so far is watch and be entertained from afar because she wont take any direct confrontation if it isnt praising her and her “talent”.

anyway yes im angry and yes im posting this, but im not going to tag it because part of me wants it to sink into the void of tumblr and never be seen again. i have a feeling someone is going to go and flip this whole rant to make it look like im a villain or something because i didnt source facts or i misworded something, yada yada, you get it. but if someone reads this and go “yeah, i agree, what the fuck is up with that?”, then i think that would be pretty neat.
