hi you, because of you (thank you!!) I've become obsessed with Gretchen and Vince's ship!!! god they're so cute <333 and there aren't too many fics about them, I was wondering if one day you will write a fic centered around them? it would be really good :)

Gretchen and Vince really grew on me and I'm glad you're enjoying their interactions! They are definitely more of a long-game type couple, which I think fits their personalities but also gives a nice juxtaposition to TJ and Spinelli.

I would definitely write a fic about them if the idea struck! I sort of have a bit of tunnel vision trying to finish this fic and it's hard for me to get out of the universe at the moment haha. I also feel like a good chunk of Vince and Gretchen's story may extend out of high school, so there may be a follow up for them once I finish this fic - we'll see how things turn out. I have a couple of different ways they could end up at the end of senior year and I'm not entirely sure what route they're on just yet.

What's next?

So you might have noticed that I have gone a little quiet in regards of games/reading/publishing stuff that hasn't been pre-written for months in advance lately.

That is because I've been a little busy bee behind the scenes and there are some big, big, big projects waiting in the pipelines I've been literally dying to share with you for months now, yay!

June - In the Balance

Over the course of June I will publish a mini-series called In the Balance, which is a collection of short stories dealing with Lizzie's 6th year at Hogwarts. There are five chapters to be published, which will go live every Tuesday for the whole month. Most of these chapters are wrapping up things that didn't make it into the final version of An Art of Balance, or headcanons I wanted to write out. They are also setting the course for a few themes for an even bigger project because...

July - A Search for Balance

After having this fic planned for more than a year and being intercepted by the Rockstar AU (rude, really), the second installment of the Balance series, aka the sequel to an Art of Balance, is coming along nicely. So nicely, in fact, that the first of its six parts will be published over the course of July and August. As of now, Part 1 consists of 12 chapters and they will go live every Tuesday and Saturday.

World G (Art of Balance [2010])

A solid example of a game I didn’t really enjoy playing from start to end (Janky physics in a puzzle game are a big no-no), but love a specific track from it regardless. Intentional or not, there’s a whole “ancient ruin” atmosphere to this track, with a bunch of echo to the magical sounds utilized, most of which I’m not very familiar with.

What I know for sure is how encouraging the track is meant to sound encouraging throughout, given how this is near the end of the game, in World 7 of 8; it does a very good job in that regard. Oh, and don’t mind the title in the video saying “Wii U”, the music is the same across all versions of the game (I played the 3DS “TOUCH!” version, in case you were curious)
