You’re both standing in the principal’s office. The school was kind enough to offer you a private room since kids are a little rowdy today, and Ghost isn’t very fond of tiny hands tagging at his uniform and asking him “how many people he has killed”.

You’re holding two balaclavas; one is black, while the other is a deep shade of army green.

“It’s either this one or that one.” You say while raising both to his eye level.

He pushes your hands down and points to his skull mask. “No.” He states. “I’ll stick with the one I’m wearing.”

You frustratedly shake the balaclavas to your sides. “Come on, Lieutenant,” you plead, “you’ll scare the kids.”

“Have you seen kids these days?” he asks, raising his hands. “These fuckers are not afraid of anything!”

“Oh god,” You wince and toss the balaclavas on the principal’s desk. You shake your index finger at his face like a teacher disciplining a misbehaving student. “Don’t you dare to swear in front of them!”

“Have you heard, kids—”

“—these days.” You cut him off with a flick of the wrist. “Yes, but there’s no need to reinforce bad behaviour.”

He lets out a long exhale and places his hands on his waist. He begins pacing around the principal’s office, swearing under his breath. You’re trying to figure out whether he needs to let it all out before his big speech or if he’s cursing the moment he has agreed to do this.

He pauses in front of a painting hanging next to a window overlooking the school’s playground. He slouches and places one hand on his lower back, rubbing his injury.

You approach him from behind and gently grasp his forearm.

“Hey,” you whisper, “what’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” he replies sternly. “Never mind.”

“Are you in pain? Please talk to me.”

“I’m not in pain!” He protests. “In fact, I wasn’t in pain to begin with, when the medics decided that I was,” he makes air quotes with his fingers, “temporarily unfit for duty.”

You place a palm on his lower back and begin rubbing it. He relaxes at your touch and puts one hand on the wall to support his weight.

“You talk about not reinforcing bad behaviour,” he murmurs, “but I’m not the best role model either.”

“Bullshit!” You scowl.

“Seriously,” he insists, “I highly doubt I’d be here talking to kids about their future if I hadn’t been injured.”

He’s correct, but he doesn’t need to know that, especially now, as you wait to enter a classroom full of kids. Any other team member would be far more qualified for this role. Gaz is such a cool guy that most kids would deem him a god. Price feels like the father you wish you had when he talks, and Soap can adapt to anyone he speaks to. Even you would be a better fit for this year’s career fair. But, Ghost? No, not at all.

“Come on, Simon,” you say as you continue rubbing his back. “It’s less about ‘being a role model’ and more about relating to them.”

“How am I supposed to relate to them?” He wonders, “My childhood was nothing like theirs.”

“How do you know?”

He looks at you and motions towards the window. “Look at them,” he says, “they’re full of life.”

“Not all of them are like that, Ghost; some are putting on a show.” You explain, and he turns to look at you again. “They look all jolly, but they might struggle at home or school. Worse, they can’t admit what’s happening behind closed doors because they’re either ordered to remain silent or not understand it themselves.”

He huffs and shakes his head. “Now I can relate to that.” He murmurs.

“See? You need to spot these kids and indirectly talk to them.”

“Spot?” He asks. “How do I spot them?”

“You mean to tell me you’re trained to spot targets from miles away but can’t see when a child suffers in silence?” You ask back. “Plus, it takes one to know one.”

He nods. “And what should I communicate to these kids?” He asks. “How do I help them?”

“By showing them that there’s something better waiting for them out there.”

“Don’t be naive, Y/N. How is what we do better than what they’re going through right now?”

“It’s not about the military, Simon.” You elaborate. “It’s about giving them another chance. They deserve to know there are options other than turning into their drug-addicted mother or alcoholic father.” You lean forward so he can meet your gaze. “Someone gave you a second chance, right?”

He closes his eyes and ponders your words. You tilt your head at him, trying to predict what he’ll say next so you can respond quickly.

But he doesn’t say anything. Instead, he straightens up and takes a deep breath. “You know,” he begins, “I gave one of those speeches to a school a few years ago.”

“Oh!” You cheer and pat him on the back twice. “Did you, now?”

“Lysychansk, Ukraine.” He recalls, “I was being held hostage with a bunch of kids.”

“Tell me more about it,” you say, sitting on the principal’s desk and playing with a pink highlighter. He begins narrating his story, and you can tell he’s becoming more confident as he realises he’s spoken to children before, albeit in a very different context, but who cares? What matters is that he is becoming more at ease with his “previous experience.”

You, in turn, try to give him your full attention, but now that his doubts have subsided, your primary concern is that mask of his. He needs to take it off.

“See? You’re far more experienced than any of us!” you shout. “And in that setting? My god! None of us would have been able to do such a thing!”

He chuckles and looks proudly out the window at the children playing in the school’s playground. He seems to be looking forward to it now.

“Hey, um, sir?”

He shifts his focus to you.

“Your mask, sir; It’s dirty,” you say as you point to his cheek.

He puts his hands on his mask. “Where?” He yells.

“It’s right….” You get up from the desk and take a step closer to him, inspecting his mask. You raise the marker and draw a bright pink line across his cheek, “...there.”

He immediately places his hand on his cheek, looks at the highlighter in your hand, and then back at you.

“You... motherfucker...” he murmurs.

You move away from him and stand behind the desk.

“I’m sorry, sir, but I can’t let you go out with that mask on; the parents will be furious.” You point to the balaclavas on the principal’s desk. “You do, however, have two other options! Take your pick, and I’ll see you in class in 5 minutes!” And with that, you rush out of the principal’s office and into the school’s corridor.

You enter the classroom and greet the kids with a smile, trying to hide your nervousness. Walking towards the back where the parents are seated, your mind starts racing; Is he trying to choose a mask, or is he cleaning up your mess? What if he’s so furious that he doesn’t show up, leaving you to give the speech? Worse, what if he enters the classroom and takes his anger out on you?

But, the door opens, and Ghost walks in. Your eyes widen, and your jaw drops. He’s not wearing any mask. Not the black one, not the green one, not the skull—with the pink streak—mask on. Nothing.

You observe him moving around; despite his lack of disguise, he maintains his composure. He greets everyone in the room, smiles, waves back at the kids and stands next to the teacher. You let out a relieved exhale through pierced lips. This is going well, thank god.

As the teacher introduces Ghost to the class, you turn to give him a thumbs up, and his eyes lock with yours. There’s a faint smirk playing on his lips, and your heart skips a beat as he silently mouths something in your direction: “You’ll pay for this.”

Everytime SQQ mentions how much of a lazy pretty boy he is an alarm in my head going "NO NO FALSE THATS SO WRONG" goes off in my head. Like, you're lying!! You're such a lier!! The moment you transmigrated you jumped head first in going above and beyond with your second life!! You know how I know?

...He hasn't done it because he had a twisted hobby inflicting corporal punishment upon the great male lead, but because he just couldn't endure it any longer. After taking over Luo Binghe's education, he'd mulled it over and decided that since he was to be a role model and worthy teacher, he ought to at least do some proper teaching. This way, after they fell out in the future, he would be able to utter the phrase, "Within a master-disciple relationship lies the grace of knowledge passed down," without reddening from shame before the words left his mouth. Volume 2 pg. 234.

SQQ went above and beyond, and honest to goodness, BECAME an actual attentive teacher. A good one at that apparently! His students adore and respect him, his colleagues see no fault in his teaching, no faults found among his community for years!

And we have proof that his teaching paid off with Luo Binghe specifically. Because earlier in volume 2 there is this whole thing about Shen Qingqiu being particular on teaching Binghe proper footwork and how to outmaneuver his enemies, which then cuts to Binghe using these particular skills against Shen Qingqiu and he's like "shit! He's using the stuff I taught him against me! And doing it flawlessly!"

Like, he didn't have to go all in and *literally* become a teacher/scholar/peak lord hybrid like SJ, and then also do every aspect of it ten times better. For funsies. For the immersion. But he did. Lazy my ass!

How would you characterize Tim Drake, quirks and all?

I’ve been having an IDENTITY CRISIS trying to figure this boy out because I think I kin him but then I’m like “but do I really know him though? Is my knowledge on him REALLY enough to Kin him?

I don’t want to bother you or anything! Im just curious to see if maybe from your response it can validate me LMAO.

Oh my dear lovely anon, you came to the right place. Tim Drake breathes and I kin it with all of my being.

Either way, I've been analyzing his character for the past two years through fanon and what comics I can get my hands on and this is kinda what I know so far.

To really understand Tim's character you have to look at his childhood. Now, in canon, his parents are neglectful at times but they aren't as bad as fanon likes to portray them. In both, Tim is usually left on his own in either a mental/emotional or physical state. He learned very early on that his parents are role models and authority figures, not caregivers or emotional support. So he grew up to value independence to an extreme extent.

Relying on people is a gamble but relying on himself is always secure. He's the kind of kid who will ask the teacher if he can do a group project alone because he knows he'll get an A that way and will avoid the drama of teammates. Tim flies solo extremely often half because its easier and half because the boy has trust issues.

One thing unpredictable parents gives you is paranoia, and this boy has it in loads. He's slow to trust because again, people are a gamble. He has a million backup plans but people are unpredictable and still stump him sometimes. Even within his own family, Tim feels out of place. He's caught in a constant state of "waiting for the second shoe to drop". It's a nasty habit but every time people make plans with him he'll never expect them to follow through.

Tim is incredibly secretive, enough that he has and will lie to his teammates and even Batman himself. He is often seen as the smart "perfect Robin" (think Ravenclaw) when really, Tim is the most cunning and tactical of any of them. Tim will do whatever is necessary for the sake of the mission and for the sake of lives. He will play dirty. Think Chaotic Neutral: he has a set of moral rules but no one can figure them out. He's a Slytherin through and through, he's resourceful and incredibly conniving.

That being said, the poor kid is traumatized, depressed, and starved for affection. It may take years to gain his trust but once that trust is given, Tim is the most loyal person on the planet. He will fight for the people he loves and will destroy the world making sure they stay safe. He never gives up when there's still a chance, even if its infinitesimal, Tim will fight like it's a certainty.

It may seem like Tim sucks at partnerships but his loyalty and cunningness makes him one of the best partners to have on a team. The Core Four is a true testament to how much Tim's habits change when it comes to the people he loves. He is adaptable and will be whatever you need him to be. Yet, that comes with a price as well.

See, Tim only ever receives love after being useful. His parents gave him praise after achieving something or being a good Drake model---something that was useful to them and not an actual Tim trait. Tim finds a loving home only after becoming a stand-in Robin. This typically manifests in Tim constantly needing to feel needed or useful in some way, shape, or form.

He's a team leader not only because he finds it hard to delegate tasks to people (trust issues) but because he finds security in people relying on him. Tim will stress himself out to the brink just so he can continue to be useful to the people around him. If you asked him to list his favorite traits about himself that didn't have to do with pleasing others, you'll stump him. The second he isn't useful all his insecurities and paranoia will fester until he pushes people who love him away.

With all these mental blocks, it comes as no surprise that Tim has terrible self-esteem. The Red Robin series makes it painfully obvious how little Tim cares for his life, he'll pawn it off if it'll advance a case. He's cautious and strategic about his attacks, yet reckless and self-sacrificing at the same time. He has little regard for himself because no ones ever proven otherwise.

At the end of the day he's prized for his intellect the most and that's what he's notorious for. He's the "smart" Robin. And while that is true, with earning Ra's respect and managing to pull off the entire Red Robin run, that does dismantle a lot of the other Robin's intelligence. Tim is smart, but so is literally every other Robin. Tim however, is calculating. Tim's intellect is precise and strategic. He is the dumbest idiot alive but he has a plan for everything, he can predict the smallest things and read people through and through. He's great at chess and monopoly because he can predict his opponents and plan far in advance, but the second you make him play something on the Wii like bowling or the airplane game, he's terribly stupid. Considering his lack of interest in school, he relies more heavily on street smarts and his heightened common sense.

Tim tries to know a little about everything but accidentally hyper fixates on one thing, so if you happen to bring it up, he'll talk your ear off. It makes him seem super smart but he's really just a bored nerd with too much unmonitored access to the internet.

He can be serious at times without meaning too because he doesn't like to waste too much of his time. He thinks time is precious and every second matters, that's why he spends so much time working rather than doing anything else. Robin gave him something to work towards, made him useful and his life worth living, he needs it. When it was taken from him it was crushing so he'll do anything to make sure he can stay in this line of work. Once again, feeling the need to prove himself to those around him instead of trusting that he is loved unconditionally.

But he really is a goofball. He's a nerd at the end of the day, a very tired, busy nerd, but a nerd nonetheless. He has passions and hobbies and will geek out over anything that's related to those things. He's funny and charming, incredibly witty, and knows how to be charismatic for show.

Tim was raised in the public eye so he has a lot of proper habits that will never get beaten out of him. His posture tends to be stiff and perfect until he's comfortable enough to change it or too out of it to care. He has impeccable manners and will be a proper gentlemen out of habit. He knows the differences between all the cutlery at expensive restaurants and knows when to use them without looking like an idiot.

Time passes by him easily so he will lose track of dates and the time of day. He stays busy a lot because he won't have to feel any other emotion other than stress and he's used to stress, stress is comfortable for him. He often forgets that too much stress isn't healthy.

Death is also a morbid comfortability for him. He witnessed each of his parents die in some way or the other, continuously watched his siblings perish (whether fake or not), and his high school best friend Darla, not to mention the countless lives he's failed to save. This gives him a pretty interesting take on life. Like I said, he thinks time is precious so he doesn't like to waste it. But at the same time, he has terrible time blindness. It's an paradoxical quirk of his.

Tim's entire personality is being a contradictory genius. Try to pin point a quirk of his and you'll end up spirally because it shouldn't make sense, yet it does. Tim is confusing because he's such a paradox of a person. His personality doesn't align with what his trauma tells, or what his thoughts project, or how he was raised, or even his morals, and yet, here he is. And it makes perfect sense all at the same time.

He's a puzzle, but man is he interesting to figure out.

Hi! This is an impossible question (i love these questions). Because I fall in love with characters so easily 😅 and I hyperfixate HARD. lol, so if you asked this 6 months ago, or ask again in another 6 months or with slightly different parameters, you'd likely get a totally different list from me. 😂 but I'll give you some of my most current top 10 character loves. And before ANYONE JUDGES ME, I'm well aware these characters being my favorites heavily implies I need therapy... I already know! Also, I'm still fairly new to anime. I relate to Kaladins struggle with depression alot, not only that, but his strength and courage and the way he is always ready to step up to help and protect others. Jasnah is a queen, she is such a strong woman and a role model of a character and so wise. And a total and complete badass. Smarter than everyone in the room? Yes. Blow up a man who attempts to mug her? Also yes. 😍

Zuko - From ATLA (TV Show)

The ultimate redemption arc and childhood crush character! A badass, a sweetheart, an asshole but with a caring heart and that endearingly awkward struggle of him trying to make friends. He is just so cool

Itachi Uchiha/Kakashi Hatake - From Naruto (Anime)

I can't pick between them and you can't make me! They are both so OP, so cool, so badass, so dramatic and have the best fight scenes and the ability to make me emotional as fuck

Olivier Armstrong/Roy Mustang - From Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Anime)

And it's written SO WELL and it's SO RELATABLE (the chronic pain part, not the rest of his tragic as fuck backstory) and he is the most insane badass.

Inosuke/Akaza - From Demon Slayer (Anime)

Inosuke is just fucking insane and I love that so much. Lmfao literally child raised by wolves, is a loveable beast type character. 😂 I just want his happiness. And I love that he is an absolute weirdo and also a badass. Akaza is just.... such a good character so far! Lol and don't think that just because he is my favorite, I'm not rooting for the demon slayers to get their revenge! I am! I just also love him and I love how he is also insane, loves being powerful and I just know his backstory is probably going to make me cry. The way this show makes me SOB all the time!

Listen, does Vin suffer as a character from "not like all the other girls" syndrome, yes. Do I LOVE everything about her and how stupidly strong and badass she is anyway? Yes. I also love that the book has HER saving the male love interest and being the white knight too instead of the other way around as per usual. Kelsier is a genius and a madman and a crazy murderer.... and I love him so much. The man has ZERO CHILL AND IS DRAMATIC TO THE CORE. I love everything about that honestly.

I'm having a hard time explaining myself for all of these and not just repeating "i just love them okay?!" Lol Look, Percy is THAT guy. He is the hero. He is the perfect boyfriend. He is the ultimate crush for everyone in the series. Lol he is loyal to a literal fault. He has the darkness and rage inside him that he keeps leashed and let's out whenever he needs to. Nico is RIGHT UP THERE TOO. The powerhouses these 2 are! Nico is scary and grumpy and adorable and just needs to be loved and they've been through so much and I just need them to have the happiest of endings. Nico deserves the world. Adult Mob's body headcanon

My personal headcanons for adult Mob's bodytype is not that he's ripped. He is pretty strong, to me, with a nice layer of fat on top

This isn't shade on anyone's headcanons and I absolutely think "it makes me horny" is a valid basis for a bodytype headcanon lmao but I am often not able to get into aged up mobrei because my headcanons for adult Mob differ so much in personality and body type

The reason I think this is because, in canon he had to find a balance between bettering his health and accepting himself and being his true self and doing what he wants with his life, and, being muscular like the body improvement club to me seemed like the peak of a dream that was born from wanting others to like him, not necessarily liking himself, but along the way he finds a hobby he genuinely enjoys

A lot of people who *look* very muscular often have a very low amount of fat, exercise for looks rather than ability to do things, and are dehydrated, and things can veer into eating disorders territory. (Not saying all!)

A lot of people who are very strong keep their natural setting point for body fat, eat a varied diet and eat enough and stay hudrated, and are often good at doing things in general, think anything from manual labour to strongmen to rock climbers

I think Mob would want to fall into the latter category, because one of the more personal reasons he exercises is because he wants to be able to do things without relying on his psychic powers. Also because his face is very soft and round, and the "Chad Mob" face is based on a feeling of being popular, not of being happy with himself but with others' opinion of him. True self acceptance comes with an ability to regulate one's own feelings self worth, so I think he'd care less about what others think and more about what he's able to do with his life

I think he's the type of person who'd become a PE teacher (not the evil kind lol) and try to be a good role model for his kids by focusing on joy of exercise rather than appearances

Soft strong is the way to go for me, anywhere from chubby to fat I think would work for him. Underneath his fat you can feel how strong he is, but he's still so soft and huggable and warm and the cuddliest bitch ever. Lowkey bear energy except I honestly don't think he'd be very hairy, I feel like Reigen is a hairy person while Mob sort of isn't, but I could go with hairy Mob too! Maybe puberty does a number on him in his later teens

“Yeah, of course! You’re my role model!”

“A-Ah, really?”

“Yeah! You always know what to do, especially in dire situations. Like our exams,” Kirishima grins like he’s the literal sun right in front of Izuku. “That’s what makes you so manly!”

Izuku only laughs with reddened cheeks. “You’re too nice, Kirishima-kun!”

“You’re the most skilled and smartest person I know, Midoriya. I’m not exaggerating.”

With how sweet Kirishima sounds now, Izuku’s face grows hotter, unable to deny his friend’s compliments. Not to mention how ungrateful that is.

“Thanks, Kirishima-kun.” As he nervously looks around, the boys surrounded by books and notebooks alike on his bed, besides the countless All Mights watching over them, Izuku plays with his hands and his pencil. “B-But what about Kacchan? I thought you guys usually studied together.”

Much to his surprise, his upbeat classmate’s smile immediately drops at the mention of Katsuki. Kirishima probably notices it since he masks his dread with a smirk.

“Nah. He’s not exactly the best teacher,” the red-haired teen clarifies. “I may be hard, literally speaking, but my head hurt for two days straight. I’m surprised I was even able to get through the theoretical exam like that.”

Izuku doesn’t laugh, despite Kirishima’s jokey tone. The former can still find the pain in the latter’s red eyes.

“Yeah…” Izuku says awkwardly. “Kacchan can be… a handful.”

“Tell me about it.” This time, Kirishima sounds bitter.

Izuku gulps, for some reason. Maybe because he’s never seen his classmate in this state before. Kirishima is probably the nicest guy he’s ever known, besides Uraraka. Kirishima seems to be the kind of person that doesn’t let other people get to him, that holds no resentments. Hence why he was always eager to befriend Katsuki.

As Izuku remains silent, Kirishima sighs in defeat.

“Honestly, I don’t even know why I try. Bakugo is just… he’s such an asshole,” he vents, “for literally no reason. Like, he treats everyone like crap, but even though it might seem like he respects me, I’m still just his personal punchbag. And maybe that’s my fault, I dunno. I must’ve thought, ‘oh, he seems cool, maybe if I prove to him that he doesn’t have to be a jerk all the time, then we can be friends!’.” Kirishima only sounds more and more frustrated. “He hits me, he constantly insults me, he never calls me by my name… after everything we’ve been through, after everything I’ve done for him, I thought things would change, y’know? But Bakugo is still the same guy who calls me Shitty Hair. And why my hair of all things?! It’s my brand!”

His cheeks are as red as his spiky hair, which is now smoothed down. Yet his flushed face is not endearing here, as Kirishima’s hardened fingers grab some of his hair, as if wanting to rip it off.

If Izuku isn’t seeing things, it might as well look like Kirishima is crying.

Although the latter is usually open, he has never been this… vulnerable before. He has never shown such strong emotions like this, if not when Katsuki was kidnapped. Otherwise, you’d look at Kirishima and not believe there’s anything tormenting him, but now Izuku knows better.

(And he hates to admit that this sight, this situation… is very familiar.)

“Kirishima-kun,” Izuku calls him, as his scarred hands gently take Kirishima’s solid arms, abandoning the pencil and all the papers the students were reading. “There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. You’re the coolest person in class. You have a good heart, you’re a great example of a hero to us. You’re my role model, too.”

Kirishima blushes, now flattered. Some tears end up rolling down his face, and he dries them with his sleeve, his quirk likely quieting down.

“I’m sorry Kacchan made you feel like that,” Izuku says rather sadly. “I know how it is to be his punchbag.”

Admittedly, he didn’t mean to add that last part.

But now it’s too late, as Kirishima appears to be on alert.

“You mean, like… you guys aren’t rivals?” He questions. “Or even childhood friends like everyone says?”

“He’s not my friend,” Izuku tightens his voice, regretting it when Kirishima shivers, so he adds, quietly, “he never was.”

The air around them feels heavier on their shoulders, a painfully familiar environment for Izuku.

“He… He tried to kill you in All Might’s class,” Kirishima reminds grimly, like he’s trying to pick the puzzles himself, and probably feeling stupid for not doing it before.

Izuku nods, head lowered.

“... he did worse than that,” he mutters.

“Worse?”

“Much worse.”

“Like what?” Kirishima begins to sound angry, but not at Izuku, as far as he’s concerned.

The green-eyed boy, in contrast, is completely closed off now. He feels empty.

“When we were little, I could never stand close to him because he would literally blow my face off,” Izuku narrates. “Since then, he’s called me useless, worthless, a damn nerd, a waste of space…” He doesn’t cry at all. “He would also pick on other kids, and I was always there to stand up for them. But since no one looked after me back then… I was the one who got the worst of it.”

Although he doesn’t look at his classmate, Izuku can sense the rage coming from Kirishima, even if the latter tries to hide it.

The moment Kirishima opens his mouth, Izuku dares to worsen the heavy environment.

“... then he told me to kill myself.”

Inflamed silence.

“He did WHAT?” Kirishima reacts.

Izuku, on the other hand, shrugs and replies, “‘Take a swan dive off the roof’, Kacchan said. So maybe I would be lucky in another life.”

His friend only breathes weird, like he’s going to have a full breakdown. Izuku is simply… there, remembering all of these things.

“I guess Kacchan got… a little better since we entered U.A. But if I get in his way he’ll literally want to fight over anything. And he’s still a horrible person to a friend as incredible as you, Kirishima-kun,” Izuku vents. “I definitely know how hard it is to rely on him, because in our practical exam against All Might, Kacchan yelled the entire damn time. He slapped me on the face when I tried to think of a plan. It sure was a miracle that we passed. Ugh.” He hugs himself, clutching his own skin. “He’s the worst.”

There’s yet another long, aching pause between the two boys, neither of them sure what to say next. Izuku doesn’t look at his friend much, which reminds him of Middle School, when he tried to avoid people the best he could. It was the only way he wouldn’t get hurt.

(Does this mean he’s expecting Kirishima to hurt him?)

Finally, Kirishima speaks up again, after what feels like half an hour.

“... do you believe him?”

Izuku frowns. “Huh?”

“Do you believe Bakugo?” Kirishima clarifies. “That you’re… worthless and useless, and a waste of space?”

The freckled teenager is speechless, not knowing what to answer. The words seem to be stuck down his throat.

“Do you…” Kirishima hesitates. “Do you really think… you’d be better off dead?”

Izuku’s chest tightens, hurts. Has he been exposed? Is Kirishima right? Because Izuku always does everything to convince himself that Katsuki doesn’t affect him anymore, except he’s only proving the contrary right now. Just like Kirishima, Izuku has his own baggage regarding Katsuki. And it’s certainly heavy.

With his lack of answer, Kirishima pushes aside all their school books to… hug Izuku. The latter stiffens, not expecting the solid yet soft warmth to embrace him despite this moment. It holds Izuku together from breaking into meaningless pieces, from breaking and destroying his bones over and over again. The sort of hug Izuku hasn’t had until he reunited with All Might at the beach, after the Number One Hero’s fall.

The thing about Kirishima, however, is that… they’re actually a lot alike. He’s always putting on a smile to reassure his friends and everyone else that everything will be alright. He’s the first one to rescue someone in need. Kirishima might not be mainly inspired by All Might, but he’s also very loyal and cheerful, always up to a friendly approach with everyone around him. Kirishima, though, is far more sociable than Izuku, seeing as he gets along well with everyone in class, while the greenette stays with his closest friends only.

Truthfully, Izuku was never this close to Kirishima before. He wonders if it’s because the latter hung out with Katsuki. He wonders if he feared Kirishima would find Katsuki way better than Izuku. Or if he just fears everyone in general. Maybe it’s all of these things at once.

Either way, Kirishima keeps him together for what feels like forever, as if only Izuku’s room exists in the world. Nothing else matters, as they’re up to the stars, the All Might comets flying around them. Izuku realizes his green eyes are wet, yet he doesn’t openly sop like he usually does. He’s been so strangely silent today. Maybe after everything that has happened, Izuku’s batteries are beyond low, so Kirishima does his best to recharge him, even if just a little.

And of course, it works.

Izuku melts entirely in the hug, it’s almost pathetic. He knows, though, that Kirishima is the last person that would ever judge him for it. He also knows that his red-haired friend probably needs the recharge as well. Neither of them want to let go just yet. If they could, they would abandon all their inner demons and stick together.

Both boys relax, sinking on the bed. Still, Kirishima is the one who organizes everything to make Izuku more comfortable.

“You’re leaving?” Izuku asks, blushing once he notices how needy he sounds.

“Honestly… I don’t want to.” Judging by his tone, he likely doesn’t want to go to his room, which is right next to Katsuki’s.

“You can stay here, if you want.”

Kirishima smiles fondly. “Yeah. I don’t want to leave you alone, either.”

Izuku likely blushes red again at the other’s soft concern, and even more so when his classmate finally joins him, the teenagers lying close to one another, their hearts beating together, after hurting for so long. At the very least, they get to look out for each other.

Knowing Kirishima, he likely won’t want to leave things with Katsuki the way they are. He would get to the end of things, especially when it comes to the bully hurting Izuku. Regardless, Kirishima won’t want to force anything, because all he wants is to keep Izuku safe. All he wants is to let Izuku know that he isn’t worthless or useless, that he doesn’t deserve to die. That Izuku means the world to him, as well as his other friends – his real friends.

For now, they don’t need to worry about any of that, nor the upcoming exam (mainly because it’s not tomorrow). Because right now, Izuku feels safe, and Kirishima might second that. Only they know how long they’ve needed this.

The two of them likely fall asleep at the same time, breathing together, protecting each other. No explosions will ever destroy what they have.

For the character ask game: Reigen!

Ahhh thank you anon! I could definitely write an entire dissertation on the beautiful writing in Reigen Arataka and his relationships with others but for now I'll still with this lmao

-How I feel about this character: [insert all the obligatory memes of 'I hate him he's ugly' here before I say] I love him!! A perfect character! Amazing premise, emotionally moving arc, the perfect half to balance out Mob, I am not the same after knowing him!! As much as I’ve ranted on here about Mob influencing part of my identity, Reigen has done just as much to touch me deeply. He’s the most selfless man you’ve even met, and all his selfish acts are only out of fear of rejection (which was also Mob’s greatest fear). He’s incredibly lonely and the biggest role model to lonely people. He changed so many lives and quite possibly saved the world, and he still thinks of himself as just a struggling fraud. He's got the patheticness and the comedy, but he's a true hero and Studio Bones didn't need to do much to make his personality attractive. That duality is always amazing to me.

-All the people I ship romantically with this character: Serizawaaaa <3 I think they both perfectly provide what the other needs – serirei has one of the most perfect balances of most ships I enjoy. Not only the introvert/extrovert honestly/liar thing, but with their types of anxieties and coping mechanisms and everything. They both are the best person to help the other grow, and convince the other that they are loved. Also, I can't overlook the aesthetic appeal of "person who is always getting into danger falls in love with powerful person who can save him" adfgbnj

-My non-romantic OTP for this character: As I mentioned before, he really does make a perfect pair with Mob. They both saved one another in a way no one else could have. They are both the first true friend, teacher, role model, and family to the other.

-My unpopular opinion about this character: I think I've mentioned this a while ago but I never enjoy theories/aus where he's an esper, since the whole center of his identity and growth is accepting himself without powers and knowing others do too :') It feels like I'm proving his imposter syndrome correct whenever I get too into one of the aus -- thinking "aw it would be cool if he had powers" betrays the fact that powers are just any other characteristic <3

-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I think it would have been cool to see his family! I know we get peeks of them and their effect on him, but I would have loved to see him interacting with people who already know the “real” him and how his persona would be different during conversations like that. I just imagine phone calls and quick cafe meetings where he's an entirely different person because these people knew him for as long as he lived. Would he drop his usual act, or throw himself into it even harder knowing they don't approve of him?

I can’t believe the Eclipse journey has come to an end. This is gonna be a slightly disorganized manifestation of my thoughts on the final episode, so pls bear with me.

One thing that adults or I guess people in power do realize is how much young ppl look up to them and actually appreciate their opinions, and as a result they take advantage of them. A scene that really took me by surprise was when teacher Chadok Fiercely hugged his lady superior (I forget her name 😅) I realized she was to him what teacher Chadok was to Akk. I’m pretty sure she also manipulated him and brainwashed him during his time as a student at the school to do her bidding. Unfortunately for teacher Chadok, he didn’t have an Ayan by his side, so his brainwashing continued into his adulthood. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was also an adult that brainwashed the lady superior as well,  so much so that she was still stuck in the mindset of 1972. It’s scary how people in power can actually use admiration or just straight up fear tactics to manipulate kids. I’m glad Akk had Ayan by his side to point out to him what was going on and freeing him. ppl like Akk, and eventually Teacher Chadok are able to break that viscous cycle, unfortunately others like Mes are unable to adjust to society when they were just thrown in it after having experienced such authoritarianism at Suppalo. Hope he’s getting the help he needs. 😔 I’m also glad Teacher Chadok took accountability for his actions.

Can you imagine what Akk’s life would have been like without Ayan? Coz I can. He would have probably ended up just like his role model Mes. I personally think everyone needs an Ayan in their lives, and by this I don’t mean as a lover; could be your friend, your brother, Your sister or even your teacher. Someone who will tell you the truth as it is, and be there for you when the going gets tough. Mind you, Ayan was also going through his own shit with the death of his uncle and his mental health. Yet he was still very supportive and loving and patient and kind to Akk. He was the first person to let him know that it was OK to be different, that being different didn’t mean you were not normal. He just wants Akk to love himself 🥲

I think the icing on the cake for me was how excepting and supportive Akk’s Parents were. I honestly think his fear that his parents might be disappointed in him was very valid because a lot of queer people end up losing their relationships with their parents and families when they come out. And I think the speech that Thua gave about wanting a community that’s going to accept you for who you are was so true (Although I was giving him a side eye because let’s not forget how he outed AkkAyan 👀)

So to do a little bit of self reflection, one thing that this show taught me is courage. And how other people can find strength in your courage. I strongly believe that Ayan’s presence in Akk’s life gave him The courage to love himself, And accept himself,and as a result be more forthcoming with his friends and his parents. Most importantly not be afraid to be loved and love those he wants to. First and Khaotung did such an amazing job portraying these characters. As well as the other actors. They all deserve their flowers and this is me giving them a full kiss on the forehead.

Also before I go, lmao. Why did Namo have the calculator open. Like what was the reason? Why did he need to be doing quick maths in that moment. I was cackling 😭😭

I’m gonna miss my little pookies. I hope we get to see more of First and Khaotung in more challenging role. As well as Neo. I think he and Khaotung definitely shed the cute and funny typecast with this project. Good for them 👏🏾👏🏾

Oh, I wish I spoke freely a lot of languages, but I'm lazy. I studied French at school, but all I can do us probably read without mistakes. French was my first love and I wanted to know it so fucking bad, I was obsessed. But the teacher at my school ruined it for me and made me kinda detest it for a couple of years - and it makes me sad. I love it now and want to start learning it again. Just mad that some teachers can ruin even the subject that you love :( I know a bit German because of college, but I'm really not good at it. I can read some slavic languages, but definitely not speak them. It's just nice, when sometimes I go on Twitter for god knows what reason, and see a plethora of different languages on my timeline and can read them and even understand! However, again, I wish I was more diligent to actually learn how to speak those languages.

I only need stats because I’m going the psychology route instead of actual education just so I can have a variety of options in the future. But I’m glad I’m going that route because learning about the brain and about how people work is honestly mind blowing. I always say that class is free therapy😅

Hello, everyone! My name is Elizabeth Soriano but you can call me Eli! Long story short, I'm not new in on this app as Tumblr is what I can consider a 'rant-to-go' app where I rant stuffs and all. I have multiple of hobbies that revolves on the word 'art'. Hence, I love sketching, I know how to sing (lmao, not really a good singer but yea) I write stories in my previous tumblr account, I write poems and quotes and songs as well. I'm more of a cat person rather than a dog person. I stan HYBE artists (most likely BTS) I listen to international artists and songs yet I rarely listen to OPM songs.

Where do I see myself 10 years from now? Was my learning in SPUP vital on where I'm leading to?

I can see myself as a successful woman who lives with luxury, an ambitious woman who finally got her dream job, who is financially stable, who has a comfortable life to live in 10 years from now. Studying here at Saint Paul University of the Philippines gives you the privilege to study with good moral and active academics. SPUP had given me a chance to study at a school where I can enhance my skills on being a good and role-model of a student. I can teach myself how to properly behave, on how to be a Paulinian who carries the school's name. By learning here in St. Paul, alm the learnings that I did wouldn't go to waste as I apply all of these to where I'm headed to in the future.

Was STEM the best choice after all?

I'm not sure if I can answer this with a proper answer yet I'll answer the question, honestly. Mathematics isn't my thing, after all. I'm more of a literature girl--meaning, I'm more into journalism, books, poems, stories and such. I took a liking on watching debates and involing debates. I also indulge myself on politic-related medias or news in which I would give my opinion on every statement that is reported. Therefore, I would ask the same question myself.

'Is this the best choice that you've got?'

I picked STEM as my profession in under this strand which is Architecture. I am not sure with my profession yet I slowly learn how to adapt myself in this field. I would slowly embrace this strand and would accept my fate. Slowly but surely and as I took classes, I realize that this strand is suitable with my profession yet not only that, I learned many things and met wonderful teachers who taught me valuable lessons that is applicable and knowledgeable. By means, I met extraordinary classmates in which I grew accustomed with. Picking STEM isn't a bad choice after all.

What course will you take in college and why?

As what I've written from above, I wanted to rake Architecture as my profession. Growing up with this dream since elementary, I thought Acrhitecture is my only choice. I was too naive and young to not explore and discover what I'm capable of. When I was in junior high school, I realized what I'm capable of. There, I learned my skills in writing, reciting, and others. When I was in Grade 10, I was nervous and don't know what to do. My mind is in a haze, blurry and not quite clear. It shouts 'pick architecture' and the other says 'pick law'. I'm still a bit confused yet my mind is already set on my goal and that was to pick Architecture.

Well, I picked Arcitecture as my profession because of my father who was unable to finish his studies due to financial problems and for what he had done as a student. He didn't study well nor did he took it seriously that's why he stopped and got into job instead. He had told me once he wanted me to be an architecture and the naive little me, I said yes. Yet now growing up with a confused mind, my father was there to reassure me. He can see that I'm confused about my decisions and he told me that it is my choice and whatever decision that I have made, him and my mother will always be there to support me. Not only that, Architecture is a challenging course yet I took a liking on sketching, drafting and other things that involves art. Therefore, I chose Architecture.

Some days its like Xiao has completely disappeared from school if you bother to notice. He does show up, but he’s either at home or somewhere secluded during break times, like the library or the rooftop.

An overall chill and laidback guy that everyone likes. I feel like he’d be a bit of a social floater, but since everyone thinks he’s cool he hangs with everyone.

Kazuha’s favorite subjects are English and Languages. Particularly Spanish. This man recites poetry all the time, how would he not like English?

in terms of what's on my blog — it's like half aesthetic posts and half star wars, specifically obi-wan and anakin, aka the team, with romantic obikin. i also post about ancient greece a bit, and applied my classics degree (lmao) pointing out some cultural history of obikin dynamics. i made edits of obi-wan saying “anakin” and anakin saying “master” at each other and a combo. i love to read about star wars and talk about it and sometimes i write meta! i collect star wars books too :)

Novel-length stories:

Lex Talionis: COMPLETE Plotty, smutty, Sith AU. It’s my take on how Obi-Wan and Anakin could fall to the dark side, weaving in as much lore as I can. Force dyad, Sith’ari, Zygerria, etc. Obi-Wan and Anakin go through.. character development.. and it is dramatized in the changing way they have sex. I poured in all of my theories about metaphysics and the Force, all my knowledge about Augustus and how a Republic dies, all of my opinions about consent and agency. It has rough sex in it and some uncomfortable power dynamics that get resolved, so it is not for everyone, just a heads up. It is complete, and yes, there is a happy ending lol.

War Drums: IN PROGRESS Darth Vader dies at the end of Return of the Jedi full of regret and wakes up in his 10-yr-old body after the events of the Phantom Menace. Young Obi-Wan struggles to acclimate to the death of Qui-Gon and the discovery that the boy he swore to train grew up into a Sith. Vader tries to use his knowledge to fix the galaxy and Obi-Wan uses his training to make sure they do it the right way. Anakin underwent his rite and is now an adult, galaxy beware.

Murder Puppy: IN PROGRESS Obi-Wan’s decision to do more than flirt with the enemy ends up accidentally acquiring a clingy Sith acolyte, and he is tasked with holding his leash while they work together to end the war. This will probably end up around 40k so a bit shorter than the other two, which are chunkier

Core Oneshots: (my argument for the ship, basically)

Symposium: The story that started it all for me haha. I put Plato's Symposium in a word document and transformed it into a scene where Obi-Wan is forced to reconsider his relationship with Anakin, while dosed with an aphrodisiac, which leads to lines being crossed back in their hotel room. It suggests the erastēs/erōmenos dynamic that appears in much of my work.

Unwrap, Wrap: Obi-Wan needs emotional hurt/comfort. This story has him fall apart, and Anakin help put him back together, after a traumatic battle late in the clone wars. Dramatizes the way that the war has muddied their roles and how much their lives are entangled. Obi-Wan gets a handjob in the shower, also, if that is relevant.

Longer Modern AUs: (8k+ words, developed AUs that attempt to model the canon dynamic in everyday life)

My Anankē: Classics AU is built on the premise that Obi-Wan would never break the rules re: teacher/student fraternization. He would rather endure years of mutual pining than act inappropriately. Once Anakin’s graduated though, that’s a different story. These are oneshots telling the story of their relationship. It is not told in chronological order, so each one basically opens up another window into their lives.

Soulbound: Obi-Wan is a bossy lawyer who plays World of Warcraft. Anakin is an insecure veteran who is in Obi-Wan’s guild and drives him insane. They meet randomly in a bar, and Obi-Wan realizes that Anakin acts the way he does because he likes to be bossed around—so he bosses him around.

Zone of Truth: Obi-Wan basically helped raise Anakin through being his Big Brother mentor through a local gaming shop, eventually teaching him to drive and getting him an internship etc. Anakin graduates college and Obi-Wan turns into a ghost, for very good reasons, it turns out. Anakin’s betrayed him, and he’s betrayed himself.

Longer Canon AUs: (8k+ words, AUs that take place in the galaxy far, far away)

Nostos: Technically a sequel to Symposium. It explores would happen if you took the dynamic established in Symposium and then put the characters in the canon end of Attack of the Clones. How would their behavior be impacted? How would the Jedi react to their decisions?

Ready Stance: Anakin is bored during a hyperspace journey during the clone wars, so he asks Obi-Wan to spar. Obi-Wan watches him warm up, they spar, and things escalate. This fic explores more core facets of their relationship, like the legacy teaching dynamic.

Found, Fixed: Post-Zygerria Obi-Wan hurt/comfort. It’s similar to Unwrap, Wrap, except it’s told from Anakin’s POV and is much more explicit. It’s one of my rare bottom!Obi-Wan fic, he gets taken care of, from a beard trim to.. you know :)

Warm Blood: A/B/O fic that people seem to enjoy. Features omega Anakin having a suppressant failure on the battlefield and going into heat. Alpha Obi-Wan has to fight his way to him, and then tries to resist his instincts—until Anakin confesses his true feelings.

Run Away With Me: A/B/O sequel to Warm Blood, tells the story of what happened after the mating, how they left the Jedi and what they’ve been doing. Anakin is preparing to go into heat, and Obi-Wan is helping him nest. Set during Revenge of the Sith, though they don’t know what’s happening in their isolation.

Temporary Like Achilles: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is drugged by Dathomirian Nightsisters into a feral state, omega Anakin finds and rescues him. It's a fuck or die with feelings and ultimately a happy ending.

Heat Haze: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is living alone on Tatooine, 10yrs post Mustafar. Omega Anakin is about to go into his first heat, and is searching for his mother during the Attack of the Clones. The Force shifts Anakin into the future, bringing the two together in time for Anakin’s heat to begin.

Heat Shimmer: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is on Geonosis during Attack of the Clones, investigating. Preheat omega Darth Vader is on Geonosis 13 years later, and the Force decides to move him back in time for his heat. They fight, but it's impossible to fight some insticts.

Give Up, Give In: A/B/O fic. Qui-Gon lived AU. Omega Obi-Wan is dosed with a heat inducer during a mission. Alpha Anakin who has loved the older Knight forever doesn’t handle that very well. Ends with Service Top Anakin, a favorite of mine

Anakin Sucks: Anakin has an oral fixation and it drives Obi-Wan to distraction over the course of the Clone Wars, 5+1 crack taken very seriously lol

Make War: show!era Obi-Wan after fighting Vader on Mapuzo shares a dream with him while suspended in bacta. Warning for noncon!! Now with a second chapter set after their near miss on Jabiim. Third chapter based on the kenobi show finale hopefully will be out soon!

Unperishing Glory: Homeric AU, Anakin is Achilles-type Chosen One and Obi-Wan is his Patroclus-type mentor-friend, angsty sex

Murder Puppy: Playful!Obi-Wan seduces raisedSith!Anakin during a duel, bringing him back to the light during sex. People seem to really like this one, it is one of the things I get the most asks about. I have plans for a short story to expand, it’s on the WIP list I promise.

Unwelcome Guest: An AU where Obi-Wan couldn't strike Anakin down on Mustafar. Suitless!Vader comes to find him on Tatooine, and wants to be punished for mistakes, there is spanking involved.

Rosetta Stone: Based on the Mummy, an AU where Obi-Wan is a librarian and Anakin is a former soldier, and they defeated a mummy together. Obi-Wan is oblivious and repressed, so Anakin has to be very forward.

Safe as Houses: Based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Anakin is the slayer and Obi-Wan is his Giles-like librarian watcher. Anakin seeks Obi-Wan out in crisis and Obi-Wan takes care of him.

The Outlander: Obi-Wan fell to the dark on Naboo AU, so Qui-Gon is Anakin’s Master instead. Anakin sneaks out of the Temple to a club to meet possessive Obi-Wan, there is smut against a wall outside, and Anakin falls to the dark side.

Please, Daddy?: Daddy kink fic. Features a bratty Anakin, sex pheromones, spanking and just general daddy!filth.

A New Hope: Anakin never left Tatooine AU. He becomes a Han Solo-type pilot who helps a rebel!Obi-Wan escape the Empire. He’s a touch starved, praise starved, virgin who’s insecure about his missing hand. Obi-Wan takes good care of him.

Communication, What Communication: Organized Crime AU with collegeStudent!Anakin and accidentalSugarDaddy!Obi-Wan, gratitude kink haha. This fic has been picked up and turned into the phenomenal multichapter story Recoil and Ricochet by @wernnaa.

Potidaea, 432BC: Alcibiades!Anakin and his tutor Socrates!Obi-Wan fight together in the phalanx. Armor kink and period-accurate intercrural sex ensue lol.

Minikin and Tiny-Wan: Fluff and crack based on the premise that there are tiny figurines of the Jedi that are alive (kind of like the little dragons in the goblet of fire). Obi-Wan and Anakin each get one, and their Tinys enjoy each other’s company, leading to an awkward but useful conversation.

#BinGate: Great British Bake Off AU, Anakin is a contestant who lost his temper and destroyed his bake, Obi-Wan is a judge who enjoys scolding Anakin.

Let Me, Master: Padawan Obi-Wan, shy demisexual Master Anakin, Obi-Wan throws caution to the wind and finally seduces his clueless Master, smut ensues with bottom Obi-Wan.

Brotherhood: Anakin is a college student in a spiral after the death of his mother, and his father Qui-Gon left for a trip, leaving his much older step-brother Obi-Wan, who he doesn't know very well, in charge. Obi-Wan picks Anakin up from jail, and the argument goes places.

Hard Racing: Anakin is a Formula 1 driver and Obi-Wan is his team principal. After an accident at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix where he ran into his teammate, he is sore, tired, and afraid of getting demoted from his spot. Obi-Wan comes to his hotel to reassure him of his value to him and the team.

Beer and Paint: Obi-Wan and Anakin are both apprentices to famous artist Qui-Gon. Anakin has tattoos/piercings/blue streak in his hair, and Obi-Wan is obsessed. Sloppy art and drunk sex ensue.

Post-Revenge: Set after the episode of TCW where Ventress rescues Obi-Wan from Maul and Savage. This is only Ventress/Obi-Wan, but Anakin is extremely present in the fact that Ventress uses Obi-Wan's secret feelings for Anakin to incite him into hate sex.

Plus Anakin Makes 3: Sort of a sequel to the Post-Revenge fic, Anakin discovers Obi-Wan and Ventress having a tryst, decides to participate rather than freak out, so more DP haha.
