A human who had fallen in love with a demon (worked for ozzie; stole a crystal for him, but died when ozzie found out), once gaining the ability to travel to hell / heaven without issues, this caught the attention of the angels and after confronting the human about it, he formed a contract with an angel (he'd be their messenger, keep an eye on things in hell while he got a little bit of angelic power of his own, when using his angelic power his eyes change color); he has a bit of free reign but he constantly needs to check back with them and can be possessed by the angel holding his contract if he doesn't give them what they want. he has a demon disguise.

     [] ripley’s what you could call a castle mouse. not in the literal sense, of course, but perhaps in the worst sense. she’s quiet, flighty -- count yourself lucky if you can catch her when she doesn’t want you looking. she’s the type of person that’s able to blend easily into the background, and she’s comfortable there. she’s not entirely invisible, no, just... unnoticeable. if you look hard enough, you could find her napping in a warm corner of one of the towers. 

    [] she’s maybe a year or two behind her peers who graduated with her at thiudriecks due to the fact she changed courses halfway through her second year. the incident that led up to it was, to an outsider, an accident that involved potions and a now scar that she still has on her left forearm, but it had really been building up long beforehand. she’d never wanted to take up auror training, it was just something her parents expected her to do. but after the break (and some emotionally taxing days with her parents), she’s much happier specializing in healing now. she believes it’s a noble thing, and she enjoys taking care of people. if anything, she can sate her culture-hungry brain with elective classes on magic history.

    [] genuinely, ripley is just trying to get by as best as she can. her sister laurie seems to be filling up the role of good upcoming auror daughter much better than she is, so she’s felt like she can finally be herself now. whether that be sleep in weird nooks of the castle, or observe the student body from her tiny corner she’s built for herself.

CONNECTIONS   . . . 

    [] though perhaps not the most social of creatures, ripley would have a number of friends, maybe even people she’d consider very close. these are the people who are free to share her quirky nooks and hidden corners, those who wake her up from her naps to drag her down to dinner. even if she’s not close to them, she’s generally a warm person, if avoidant. most of the time, the people she’d know outside of classes come from the activities she’s taken up that is: the quidditch team and the aurelius tribune. 

    [] ripley’s maybe had a fling or two in the past, but nothing ever that actually lasted or that made it past the dreaded “talking stage”. she’s by no means a cynic when it comes to love, but she’s less than hopeful about her prospects. if someone were to want her, they’d have to be able to see her first.

    [] conflict is perhaps one of the worst things you could ever put ripley up against. she dislikes confrontation, and would rather die than try to correct someone (perhaps it’s why many people know her as riley). she knows this may be weak, but she’d really just prefer to live peacefully rather than have to deal with vile personalities and emotional drainage.

Begonnen:

180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us

Het is goed als moeder en zoon close zijn, maar ik denk niet dat het erg verstandig is als je moeder soms als een jongere zus voelt.

Ik vroeg mij af wie de andere man was in de foto's van zijn vader, maar nu twijfel ik of de man wiens gezicht wij zagen de vader was. Want met de introductie van In, heb ik nu het idee dat de man wiens gezicht wij niet zagen, de vader was en de ander In.

Wat ik mij ook afvraag is of In een oogje had op de vader van Wan.

Takara-kun & Amagi-kun

De episode was op een interessante manier gefilmd. Het voelde alsof de episode kleine hoofdstukjes had, als ze de structuur van de manga hadden aangehouden. Ik vond dat best leuk gedaan.

Op het einde was Takara aan het woord, wat mij goed uitkwam, want ik vroeg mij af hoe hij zich voelde. De acteur die hem speelt is goed in het overbrengen van emoties in zijn blikken, want hoe hij soms keek deed mij denken dat soms erg verdrietig was en zich hopeloos voelde? Vooral hoe hij soms naar Amagi keek, was emotie vol. Het kneep mijn hart samen om hem zo te zien, en das knap als je hem net leert kennen als personage.

Double

Kijk erg uit naar de rest van de serie. Het voelt aan als een goede en solid series. Ik ben benieuwd hoe de relatie/interacties tussen de twee mannen vorm gegeven gaat worden gedurende serie.

Man oh man, wat kan Park Jinyoung goed acteren. Het is altijd pijnlijk om Gaon zo emotioneel te zien, maar geef hem maar eens ongelijk. Das een flinke deuk die hij heeft opgelopen.

En dat is natuurlijk ook niet bevorderlijk voor je vertrouwen in de wereld om je heen.

     it’s been around a year since jinyoung’s contacted benjamin, it’s been around 3 months since his ‘treatment’, but it’s also been 3 months since jinyoung’s met casey. it’s been 3 months since he’s been basically adopted by the man, it’s been 3 months since jinyoung started actual therapy thanks to casey, and it’s only been a week since he got to camp rainbow. being somewhere where he was accepted and loved was...new to say the least. it was a little overwhelming, a little scary, but none the less it was exciting. really exciting. jinyoung was in the art room, finishing up his first painting since he got here. it was of mark’s boyfriend, milo, it was a present and mark was giving him $50 for it, it was quick and easy cash grab. when he reached over to swirl his brush in the water, he looked out the window to see a group of people leaving the building next to him. he felt compelled to comb through the crowd, taking in everyone’s face and everyone’s appearance till his eyes landed on benjamin. yes, the tall, dark haired, chinese benjamin. the only boy he’s ever kissed, his quick italy romance, the trigger to his parents sending him to god’s promise. but doesn’t have time to think about that because he’s bolting out the door and running straight to him. jinyoung doesn’t even remember dropping his paint brush let alone running outside into a crowd of people, given it wasn’t a big crowd and benjamin’s long stature made him stick out like a sore thumb. “benji!” his name comes out half a laugh and half a shout, there’s a stinging sensation in the back of his eyes but he doesn’t mind it. jin can’t help it, he’s elated to see the boy again, he’s all he’s been thinking about for a little over a year. the boy doesn’t even think twice before wrapping his arms around the other’s neck, pulling him into a tight well overdo hug.
