couple of days late to mention it, but I’m still thinking about the eclipse. One of the coolest, spookiest things I’ve ever seen. There was a giant, silver ring in the sky! and you could just look at! No glasses or anything! Everything went dark and there was this big, bright burning halo. Man, I tried to not get too excited or hopeful about it, I mean pictures of it are always cool, but the real deal was like seeing actual magic. and then I went inside and made a pizza. so… good monday.

Happy Halloween! Trick or treat?
Hee hoo thanks for the ask, anon! Happy Halloween :3 A silly supernatural jaytim 3 sentence paragraph (lol) fic for you:
"For the last time, I am not getting in the damn coffin with you," Jason huffs.
Tim leans out over the polished wood and satin lining, his fangs flashing as he pouts, winding his arms lazily around Jason's neck and burying his fingertips in Jason's hair-- because he's a dirty cheater and he knows that Jason's willpower is brittle as old bone this close to the full moon. He resolves to stay strong, because if you give Tim an inch then he'll take the whole damn continent.
"You don't have to, I suppose," Tim sighs, red eyes flashing from under his eyelashes. "I'll just be here...cold. Lonely. Wanting." He breathes the words against Jason's lips, and Jason whines. Christ. The things he does for this bloodsucker.

Are you excited for the solar eclipse today? I am!
Some of things I'm most interested in are common themes in science fiction.
I read a lot of books, and I constantly play documentaries, lectures or talks in the background, always on the same topics: astrophysics, quantum physics, atomic energy, electromagnetic fields, dark matter, anti-gravity, stealth, propulsion, and theories on spacetime manipulation.
Science is one of the few things that excite me! I see such immense hope and potential in the field. We have so much left to learn that it's astonishing sometimes!
When I think of all that potential, I understand how the first human to see an ocean must have felt... "How could a pond be THIS big? It's too much water for my brain to fathom!" That's how I feel about future knowledge!
I'm happy to listen to experts share their wisdom and hopefully pick up a little understanding, but it's a rare occasion that I get to see those concepts at work in real life! So I feel ultra blessed to live in the path of today's eclipse, and to have certified glasses to view it with, and a friend to accompany me.
I'm a bandraoí, and my Celtic ancestors believed that the alignment of the sun and moon opened the door between worlds. Today is an important day because my ancestors will be standing beside me.
It was also a reminder that peace on earth has yet to be attained. We are closer to midnight on the Doomsday clock than we have ever been, and I think that message is more portent than ever before in human history. We are one planet, one species - our divisions are meaningless from the perspective of the cosmos. We are one.
I'm wishing you a happy festival of light 💜

I haven't heard much about The Boy II (2020) opinion wise, so this might be an unpopular opinion, I have no idea, but...
I think the reason I liked the first film so much was because it sets it up as this typical creepy/possessed doll movie, only to reveal the doll wasn't the issue at all. Just a creepy man in his creepy walls with his creepy house and creepy parents who wants to fuck with some woman. Idk, that's what I gathered from it, and I liked it. It was a nice lil twist.
Then the sequel took that, crumpled it up, shat on it and threw it away. We're back to the typical creepy doll film again, fuck you.
Edit: Looked it up on Tumblr right after making this. We ARE all on the same page here. The outcome to this film sucked lmao.

watching disturbing videos as I type in my oversized hoodie
and the guy was reading an article about that Japanese (I think) village where the lady makes life-sized dolls of people
and the article he was reading had the phrase "bizarre dolls"
and when I tell you my head shot up so fast like "hold up-"
