This is one of our longest long timers. He has basically given up inside his kennel. Just hiding in his cubby most of the time. Figuring that nobody is going to be looking for them any way. He will come forward when you go to his gate and call for him, because he loves his walks. He loves affection. And he loves just laying next to you chewing on a ball. In our environment, he is not recommended for other dogs. But almost all dogs can learn with enough time in training to be part of a pack. But that’s not always a quick and easy thing. Nobody ever asks to see Blue to think about adopting. Most people just pass by his kennel don’t even know there’s a dog in there. He just patiently waits for his next once weekly or bimonthly walk. Crash here is one of our AGBR alum that was adopted almost two years ago. He came to us after being hit by a car & tragically had to have his leg amputated but still is the sweetest & best boy. After he was adopted, his vet discovered a large tumor in his ear. His owner Josh got him thru it & honored his commitment to take care of Crash for the rest of his life like any good dog dad would do! ❤️ A few days ago Crash was the victim of gun violence & breed discrimination & was shot in the face w/a 9mm gun. Josh rushed him to the emergency vet & luckily #Crash is supposed to make a full recovery but the vet bill was extensive.
