В фандоме вот очень любят проводить параллели между Роджерсом и Флинтом, не знаю, насколько популярную или нет вещь скажу, Роджерс заметно лучше, чем Флинт думает от людях. Ну то есть в целом-то он о человечестве не особо хорошего мнения. Но при том в частностях склонен верить в честность людей и доверять им гораздо больше и чаще, чем стоило бы. И мне кажется, что это из серии каждый судит по себе. Флинт про себя знает, что он тащем почти любого кинет или убьет ради своей цели, и от других ждет того же. А Роджерс не то чтобы няша, Тич подтвердит, но он явно не любит врать, и не выполнять обещания тоже не любит, а мордой об стол в достаточной степени, чтобы такая мелочь как честь совсем перестала иметь значение, жизнь еще не приложила. При том ощущение, что даже к концу сериала еще не, он на полном серьезе о чем-то таком с Мади пытался договориться и предлагал ей безопасность для Сильвера в обмен. А Эля на этой шкале где-то посередке между Роджерсом и Флинтом, она вроде и способна на личную подлость ради дела, но это каждый раз прям со слезами и кучей угрызений после, у неё такие штуки реальной каждый раз кусочек души отъедают. А Флинт глубоко прогнивший человек. Был когда-то хороший человек, но весь сгнил, финита. Эля реально идиотка, что этого не видела и про какое-то Флинт из э гуд персон Абигайль твердила. Скажи спасибо, что этот гуд персон тебе лично нож под ребро не воткнул, он бы мог, если б для дела понадобилось, Гейтс подтвердит.

Захотелось зачем-то записать на ночь, не знаю зачем.

When people say that Cass really understands Bruce you have to get that they mean she REALLY understands Bruce

I would consider her and Dick to be the ones who understand him the best but Dick had to learn through years and years of being his partner

but Cass... she just like gets it in a way that none of the others really do

this is pretty soon into them knowing each other and she already intuitively knows that Bruce's anger is often just a mask for guilt/sadness which is something Dick probably took a while to figure out back in the day

I really wish DC would explore Dick and Cass more I would love to see Dick jealous of Cass and Bruce's relationship the same way he was with Tim

except it would be even more interesting because they're kind of a nature vs nurture debate with Cass understanding Bruce as her nature while Dick's understanding of him comes from the years they spent together

it’s also baffling to me that tumblr, home of the ‘why are white men Still being cast as the doctor’ for So many years now (For you know, like over a decade.) is somehow not appalled that they hired a white dude to be the next Doctor because look okay it’s okay if it’s This white man. 

I mean, I do not consent to acknowledge that they’ve shoved him in there under any circumstance, but my Only need for the casting of the next person was that it was Not a white man, otherwise i didn’t care who it was, so when they “announced” Gatwa I was satisfied (i am hesitant to say they announced it bc it was more like a tiny footnote than an announcement, oh the disrespect) and it took a whole seven days (it was literally seven days. Yes i counted. it was easy since it was only seven days) it was ‘actually sorry no it’s this white dude we’ve already had before did we forget to mention that???’ and it’s steadily gotten worse and worse. 

That This site of all places is not up in arms about both the situation and how it specifically played out is depressing, but also massively and darkly hilarious.  

Especially since i Also remember nobody on this site thought casting Whittaker was good enough but literally going backward to a previous white man is?? This is not even a metaphor about diversity getting worse, they literally looked backwards. 

But, yeah,  tenn/ant with the ‘what the future looks like’ headline is uh... Good???? Not super worrying and ominous? 

I feel like i’ve been dumped in some weird parallel universe by reactions to all of this on here like??? the whole way this was done was appalling, the situation is appalling, but i guess the bbc/disney should get a rousing round of applause for accurately judging that nobody would care about their poor actions if the specific white guy they cast was popular enough that next to nobody would care. 

( and to the ‘it’s an anniversary ep’ thing, they legit could have just set a couple of eps in the past. i don’t mean they travel to the past. i mean just say ‘hey this ep is set during s4!’ and nobody would care. this show does weirder stuff than this every second episode. and it would still be bad, but how they did it is so much Worse.)

On this New Year's Eve, are you too thinkin' bout season 8's: "I did everything I could to get you out! Everything... I did not leave you!" "Nothing you could have done would have saved me, because I didn't want to be saved... After the things I did... I didn't deserve to be out." and season 15's: "I left, but you didn't stop me."?? Because let's be real - Cas would *not* have stayed if Dean had stopped him as he didn't think he deserved to have Dean's acceptance/love. (can't believe that 3yrs later on I am doing 180 on this - i.e. initially thinking that Cas not staying was a result of Dean not asking)

anyways, I guess this is your usual reminder that Dean saving Cas from the Empty & saying "you don't think you deserved to be saved/loved?" is the only series conclusion that would've made perfect sense. See you with the same message, just rephrased differently, next year!

I caught up to the oshi no ko manga recently and can I say whatever aquakane has going on is fucking insane good lord. Not platonic not romantic but a secret third thing (fake dating to “I have feelings for you” “I have feelings for you too” *narrator voice* the feeling was friendship to willing to commit a murder so the other won’t return to a spiraling revenge quest, a murder she was 100% down with since the moment it was implied to complicated exes but goddammit I still see through your bs and care about you idiot I’m gonna ruin your clearly self saboteering revenge quest and also it’s all super ace coded)
