Another bubble tea review time! This time it’s Bubble milk tea that’s Strawberry flavored, now I’m gunna be honest I like the taste but I had a lot of difficulty for the packaging, I’m not exactly the smartest Trubbish in the dump but it took a bit for me to figure out what to do. When I uncapped it I saw it was covered in a aluminum foil
Tumblr media
So me being me I tried opening the foil around it thinking it was like a Little Hug Fruit Barrel, and since my nails were cut short I had to use my teeth trying to lift the foil which wasn’t coming off I was like “wtf?!?” Before I realized the cap had a point on it for twisting around on the foil, I felt dumb
Tumblr media
So after opening it, it spilt a little on my blanket and shirt, but I was determined to drink this thing as if my life depended on it. The flavor was good and there wasn’t as much tapioca pearls in it though, but I’d give it a 8/10 just on flavor alone, -2 on my stupidness of dealing with the package, if you like strawberry flavor and want something you can put in your lunch box with out the hassle of having an open can, this would definitely be for you

Ready to learn how to make bubble tea at home? Let's get started!
In this recipe of bubble tea, we'll be using Teapigs chai bags to give our bubble tea recipe an extra special touch.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup uncooked tapioca pearls
2 Teapigs chai tea bags
1/4 cup honey or sugar
1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
1 cup water
Some ice cubes
Equipment:
Pot
Strainer
Measuring cups
Large glass or shaker
Instructions:
Step one: First, you’ll want to start by preparing the tapioca pearls. Then in a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls and stir them gently until they float to the surface, and then cover the pot and let them cook for 5-7 minutes. Once they’re done cooking, simply turn off the heat and let the pearls sit for another 5 minutes.
Step two: Now, let's make our tea while the pearls are cooking. In a large glass or shaker, you’ll need to pour 1 cup of boiling water over the Teapigs tea bags and then let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on the strength of the tea you like.
Step three: Next, make sure you remove the tea bags and add honey or sugar to the tea after it has steeped. Let the tea cool after stirring until the sweetener has dissolved.
Step four: After the tapioca pearls are done, drain them and rinse them with cold water to remove any excess starch, then put them aside!
Step five: Then simply add a handful of ice cubes to a separate glass or shaker and fill halfway with milk (or a non-dairy substitute).
Step six: Finally, all you need to do is add the cooled tea to the glass or shaker and stir well, then add the tapioca pearls to the glass or shaker and give it one more toss!
For a touch of Aussie goodness, here are some tips to add fun to your recipe of bubble tea!
Consider adding some "Arnott's Tim Tam" biscuits to the tea while it's still hot. The chocolatey flavour and creamy texture will blend well with the bubble tea.
Add a dash of "Vegemite" to the tea while brewing. This might sound unusual, but it will give the tea a unique savoury flavour that many Aussies love.
Consider adding some "milo" to the thai milk tea while it's still hot. Milo is a popular chocolate malt powder in Australia and will give the tea a chocolatey flavour.
Try adding some "Golden Gaytime" ice cream to the tea for a sweet and creamy treat. This is a classic Australian ice cream that many Aussies love.
The tapioca pearls offer a chewy texture and are delightful to slurp up through the straw, while the Teapigs tea adds a tasty and unusual flavour. It's the ideal snack for a hot summer day or a cold winter night.
Bubble tea is a drink that's all about having fun and experimenting with different flavours and toppings. Learning how to make bubble tea is a great way to tap into your creative side and come up with new and exciting recipes to try out.

Bubble Milk Tea Cake
This was like on ‘super sale’ on T&T a few weeks ago, before Mid-Autumn Festival. So I picked up a box. .. it was originally 26.99, but on sale for 10.99! Couldn’t pass on it even though. .. I probably won’t like it. “Maybe my nieces will” was what I was thinking at the time :P
[Spoiler: unfortunately, they did not really enjoy it.. .]
Tumblr media
This is a Taiwanese product - by a brand I have no clue about. Each box contains 20 individually packaged cakes. I’m not sure if you’re familiar but the shape / cake format is the same as pineapple cakes.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I don’t know why it was on sale; it’s nowhere near its BB date.
Tumblr media
Ooooooohhh very pleasing display haha
I love convenience & individually packaged things. I’m sorry if you’re into ‘saving the earth’ & eliminating plastics & stuff.. . While the recent HelloFresh order made me think about that & evaluate the product/myself, I think differently in different scenarios. With individually packaged snacks like these cakes, it makes sense; however, for so many little packages of sauce... you could like put them into re-usable squeeze bottles, or combine them so there’s ‘less material’ used. I don’t know- that’s just me. The circumstances & reason for using the plastic is different *shrugs*
Tumblr media
I no longer have any now.. . but I can tell you that the cross section is the same IRL as the picture on the packaging.
However. .... . . ... the cake/pastry portion was very dry =/ the filling was actually quite good! Not very sweet, it had milk tea flavour. The filling also contained small pieces of sago. It was very well done! The pastry part though. .. nooooo..... I’m no expert with this snack/cake, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be dry. It’s supposed to be a little moist & slightly chewy. So that part, I was disappointed about.
Would I buy again .. . if it is on sale?
No.
