I just got to thinking... if we get Phillip Buckley walking Maddie down the isle instead of Buck... I will riot. I will scream and protest

Hen: The floor is lava!
Maddie: *helps Buck get onto the couch*
Chim: *pushes Albert to the floor*
Hen: As you can see, there are two types of siblings.

Buck: I’ve been dropping them the most insanely obvious hints for like a year now. No response.
Eddie: Wow. They sound stupid.
Buck: But they’re not. They’re really smart actually. Just dense.
Eddie: Maybe you need to be more obvious? Like, I don’t know… “Hey! I love you!”
Buck: I guess you’re right. Hey Eddie, I love you.
Eddie: See! Just say that!
Buck: Holy fucking shit.
Eddie: If that flies over their head then, sorry Buck, but they're too dumb for you.
Buck: Eddie.

Still thinking about that scene with Maddie, Buck is more concerned about lying to Eddie than like “help, how do I ask my date to give me a second chance” lol

I'm still dying to know if Maddie kissing Buck's birthmark was part of the script or not. This was such a perfect shot. Kudos to Oliver and Jennifer's onscreen chemistry. It reflects on my screen as if they're actual siblings. It's crazy!

“Do you remember that shift where Buck was off and Hen was on mandatory relaxation, and they both got drunk in Hen’s kitchen in the middle of the afternoon while we had to resuscitate a canine?”
Eddie nods vigorously. “Oh, Hoover. I remember Hoover.”
“Why have we never been drunk during a dog resuscitation, Eddie? Have you thought about that?”
“Well now I am.”
“We should call them and let them know that we can have fun on Dads’ Night Out.”
Nothing could go wrong.
OR
Eddie and Chim embark on a “Dad’s night out” to watch baseball at a sports bar, and after a few too many, Eddie accidentally lets his feelings for Buck slip.
My notes: oh my. This was absolutely amazing. I adored how good of a friend Chim was and I loved reading more about Chimney and Eddie’s friendship. This fic made me laugh, cry, and cry while laughing. Some moments are absolutely hilarious and got me kicking my feet and giggling on the couch. 10000000% recommend this one. Adorable!

Can I give a small shoutout to Maddie Buckley and Evan 'Buck' Buckley from 911 Fox because they are adorable? I don't ship them necessarily the way I ship, say, Cesare and Lucrezia, but they have a great dynamic however one chooses to see them, they have all that shared trauma with the parents that didn't love them enough because they were too busy mourning their other son, Daniel, they have their separate traumas and the personalities they've built out of them, highlighted by the show itself, with Buck pointing out how they're these opposites in how they deal with places and people, Buck being a 'settler', getting attached to people and staying, while Maddie is a 'fugitive', slow to open up and a flight risk, and they're both in the business of saving people -Buck is a firefighter and Maddie is a nurse and a 911 dispatcher- and they have these huge smiles and hugs reserved for each other. They're just lovely.
And what a wonderful shoutout it was!
I love that they're opposites in that way, it makes for a really interesting dynamic.
It's great there's a sibling relationship among prominent characters on that show.
