nemesis who likes giving kisses on her kid’s forehead when she visits the camp

hades who once went to the camp with cerberus because one of his kids said they were missing their dog

hades who is not used to receiving attention from his family so he gets a bit surprised when his kids show him some affection

hades who stops the work in the underworld if cabin 13 is coming to visit him

hades who doesn’t like the attention he gets when visiting the camp but still goes because he doesn’t want to seem like a bad father for his kids

hades who hesitates to claim his children because he knows people will have prejudice against them and he doesn’t want them to feel rejected by the other demigods

hades who felt the happiest when his kids smiled at him when they were babies

hades who blames himself for everything bad that has already happened to his children

hades who is known for being a ruthless god but would do anything his kids ask for

zeus who can’t go against his own rules of not getting involved with his children

zeus who gives subtle signs to his kids to make sure they know his taking care of them

zeus who never lets hera mistreat his children

zeus who understands the pressure cabin 1 is under but feels proud of himself when other people expect his kids to be great only because he’s their father

zeus who sends his eagle to the camp with some gifts for his kids

zeus who made the biggest storm just because cabin 1 lost capture the flag

zeus who tries to keep a distance from his children because he believes it will protect them

zeus who dreams about all his children being together and having fun with each other

Headcanon that the Zeus/Jupiter kids give off little shocks when theyre happy.

Thalia hugging Luke (pre-everything) and his hair sticks up.

Jason accidentally giving Leo a slight shock when he holds his hand, resulting in Leo walking back and forth on a carpet in socks to get him back.

Which of course then started a shock war that spread throughout the argo crew.

Ω PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS:

⚡ ZEUS: God of the Sky, Thunder & Lightning, Kingship, Honor, and Justice ⚡

author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. Thank you for reading and please like and reblog! The order is not in order of the cabin numbers. [PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS MASTERLIST]

Before you even get claimed, it’s been a wild and long event before you get to camp. Your life has already been filled with trials and misfortune, and just when you think life can’t be any harder, the curtain has been ripped from you and the monsters and terrors are jumping out at you.

So when you arrive, people already have an idea who your godly parent is or how powerful you are. The rumour mill spreads fast.

But as soon as you arrive, you are immediately claimed and your parentage is revealed. Thunder rumbles through the sky and everyone starts immediately backing away from you and looking nervously at the sky. Then they see the claim mark above you, and everyone is immediately gaping and there’s a ruckus.

Then you hear more than one person go “Of course it’s Zeus” in the most tired voice and there was a cacophony of groans.

You are swiftly brought to the Big House with the core cabin leaders, Mr. D, and Chiron who all look uncomfortable. They all make occasional glances up towards the roof, gesturing to the sky with every rumble as everyone takes turn to explain the Big Three, their pact, then the overturned pact, and the crux of the matter that this is not the first time and doubt be the last child of Zeus they’ll be seeing coming out of the woodwork; but considering the time frame of your age and when the pact was overturned…well something exactly doesn’t line up. Then you also remember or informed about Hera, the Goddess of Marriage and Zeus’ wife, and her track record reacting towards children of Zeus…mostly being a sign of infidelity. Annabeth tells you this is because Hera, being the goddess of marriage, and Zeus’ blatantly, repeated infidelity goes against her entire being, but since Zeus is a god and is above her, and won’t ever divorce him either, she usually directs her ire towards the mortal parent and the demigod in retribution.

There’s a big boom of thunder and you see Mr. D, who you later find out who he is, makes a sour face before his face goes completely red, chugs his diet coke and slams it into a puck on the table, before standing up to yell outside the window. You all watch him yell at the sky to “quiet down and not to smite them all down because of their arguing” and Mr. D grumbling about fathers and how their children get all the backlash-

Chiron and a few other campers quickly and smoothly guide you away during the commotion and you’re then led to the orientation of everything else. All the pieces come together very quickly as thunder rolls and crackles above the Big House.

You start to get trapped in your own head about being the child of Zeus, and you try not to think about the implications, and then one night when you’re lying in bed, you jump out of your bed when your door is slammed open with thunder rumbling outside.

You stare at who the person is, grabbing your temporary weapon just in case, and lo and behold, you see Thalia Grace at the doorway. She stares at you with disbelief before a grin appears, before she introduces herself boldly to you as your new sister.

As soon you were claimed, all hell broke loose; which you would think be more fitting for a child of Hades. People were running around like they were headless chickens, some had their heads in their hands, and some were staring at you like they didn’t believe you existed or were looking right up the sky with anticipation.

You had heard more than once, from more than one person, and quite frequently, the words: “Of course it’s Zeus” in various tones; mostly exasperation. You had a faint idea of why based on your knowledge of Greek mythology, and a small heavy dread began to form. Then you were brought to the Big House, given the biggest lore dump and then you were taken to one place and another.

You lay in your bunk bed, trying to wrap your brain around what just happened and tried to process it. Basically, it hadn’t been that long since the overturned Big Three pact had made, and here you were. They could only imagine how many children of Zeus were just out there and would be appearing in Camp Half Blood in utter mass, and they feared what that meant (and Hera’s wrath).

There was a crack of lighting, making you jump before you remembered you were a child of Zeus, as much how that insinuated, it brought you some comfort you were not going to die from being smite by lightning. As you closed your eyes, the door to your cabin was slammed open, shaking your utter camp and making you fly off your bed, and onto your floor.

There was a figure at the open door and you saw the silver tiara on her head, and the electric blue eyes. The moment both of your eyes made contact, there was electricity in the air and you just knew, and she knew.

“Wow, it is true” said the figure before stepping in, “Dad did really have another child-”

“Yeah….which I’m guessing I’m not going to be the last one” you said from the floor.

There was a snort, “Oh yeah, knowing our shared father? Zeus definitely didn’t leave just you. Which is why I got called back here” she said. “Do you know who I am?”

“Yeah, Thalia Grace. The others, sort of, told me about you” you explained.

“Yup that’s me. The name is Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, as well as Lieutenant to Lady Artemis…and also your sister” she introduced while holding out her hand to you.

You introduced yourself while you looked at her hand before clasping it. A jolt of electricity spread between you and her, causing you to look wide eyed before you two shared a grin.

“Come on,” said Thalia she hauled you up, “first thing first, you and I have a lot to talk about before inevitably, the rest of our half-siblings start appearing on our front door.”

Cabin 1 (Zues) - I feel like they would accidentally shock the person every time they are trying to hug or touch someone

Cabin 2 (Hera) I feel like they would say “he loves me he loves me not” whilst picking rose petals

Cabin 3 (Poseidon) I feel like they would sweat rapidly when they talked to anyone new

Cabin 4 (Demeter) I feel like they would have seasonal depression during winter

Cabin 5 (Ares) I feel like they would say “no more mr nice guy” or “I turn red when I’m mad”

Cabin 6 (Athena) I feel like they would say “according to my calculations” anytime they say anything

Cabin 7 (Apollo) I feel like they would have a harem

Cabin 8 (Artemis) I feel like they would kick every man in sight in the balls

Cabin 15 (Hypnos) I feel like they would zone out whenever anyone talks to them

Cabin 16 (Nemisis) I feel like if you went into their room you’d find hundreds of voodoo dolls

Cabin 17 (Nike) I feel like they wouldn’t stop bragging about their trophies

Cabin 18 (Hebe) I feel like guru would be the definition of millennial core

Jason remembers Thalia.

He doesn’t remember who he is, his past or where he comes from. He doesn’t even remember his last name.

But he remembers her, he sees a picture of her and he knows. Thalia Grace is his sister.

Heroes of Olympus is a series that sadly has a big issue with amatonormativity so I just love that Jason gets to have Thalia as the one person he remembers after the camp swap and how the memory of her becomes his anchor throughout The Lost Hero.

dinner time

an average dinner at camp half-blood

⚡️⋆.ೃ࿔* zeus cabin

are usually the last cabin to get to the dining pavilion so they can make a dramatic entrance

would eventually get mad at cabin 5 for making fun of them for being too extravagant and start an argument with half of the cabins who tried to calm them down.

🦚⋆.ೃ࿔* hera cabin

cabin 2’s table was originally placed next to cabin 1’s one but mr. d moved it to the opposite side of the pavilion to avoid conflicts between these two cabins during dinner.

they’d spend most of the time chatting with cabin 10 and the rest of their dinner would be basically them complaining about the food.

🌊⋆.ೃ࿔* poseidon cabin

they don’t catch so much attention when arriving at the dining pavilion. most of the time they’re too tired to even talk between themselves during dinner because of their training sessions.

just give them 30 seconds to be full of energy again and teaming up with cabin 11 to throw water at mr. d.

💐⋆.ೃ࿔* demeter cabin

they are always the first ones to get there. demeter’s kids like to take flowers to decor the tables and sometimes a few of them bake/cook something to share with their friends.

they are really polite and calm, just trying to eat their dinner in peace and go back to what they were doing.

⚔️⋆.ೃ࿔* ares cabin

they’re usually really loud, especially if they had just won capture the flag, and would make sure to bump into cabin 6’s table and tease them for losing.

i think they’d have childish eating habits, like not liking vegetables and salad. they are the most likely to start a food war at some point too.

🦉⋆.ೃ࿔* athena cabin

the quiet ones who just wants to eat and go back to what they were doing before. is really common for them to take books and notebooks to the dinning pavilion because they “can’t lose time”

chiron don’t let them study in the dinning pavilion anymore because they’d stop eating when their food gets cold because of them getting distracted by their books

🌞⋆.ೃ࿔* apollo cabin

they usually arrive together with another cabin, mostly cabin 11 and 18, laughing and singing.

don’t really care about the rule of not seating in another’s cabin table, and they’d go around all the tables so they can eat with all their friends.

🌙⋆.ೃ࿔* hunters of artemis

when the hunters are in camp half-blood, they are the first ones to arrive and the first ones to leave, rare exceptions.

don’t usually interact with other cabins, and just talk between themselves.

🛠️⋆.ೃ࿔* hephaestus cabin

cabin 9 only go to the dining pavilion to get food to spend the night working and occasionally talk to some of their friends too.

they eat a lot though, and sometimes don’t manage to sneak out of the pavilion without getting caught when they are trying to take some food to their cabin

💘⋆.ೃ࿔* aphrodite cabin

some of them are usually late because they spend too much time getting ready for dinner, but others like talking to cabin 4 while they decor the tables.

they pretend to eat only healthy food but are addicted to desserts and won’t leave without eating something sweet.

📨⋆.ೃ࿔* hermes cabin

the other demigods always try to get to the dining pavilion before cabin 11 because they know that hermes’s children like playing pranks on who is late to dinner.

they also eat a lot because they need a lot of energy to keep up with their training schedule

🍷⋆.ೃ࿔* dionysus cabin

mr d. go to their cabin to check if they getting ready to dinner and then waits until all of his kids arrive to the dining pavilion to start eating.

always try to order wine from that magic cups but they never manage to do it. they get scolded by chiron really often because of that but at some point mr d. transformed him into a frog so he’d stop bothering his kids

☠️⋆.ೃ࿔* hades cabin

i feel like they don’t often have dinner with the others, but sometimes will eat in the dinning pavilion just so everyone knows they’re still there.

when they are not feeling like going to the dinning pavilion, their friends would bring some food for them in cabin 13 and they’d probably have a sleepover after that.

🌈⋆.ೃ࿔* iris cabin

they’re pretty quiet, just go there to say hello to everybody, eat and get some snacks to spend the night or to share with some friends later.

they like playing with the colors of the foods, like changing the food’s color or making it shine.

💤⋆.ೃ࿔* hypnos cabin

they might be a bit lazy but are never going to deny food. when arriving at the dinning pavilion they’d go straight to their friends table to talk a little before the food is served.

they’d never eat their whole meal because they would get tired of chewing at some point.

⚖️⋆.ೃ࿔* nemesis cabin

they have an habit of being the last ones to start eating because they think it’s unfair to have a meal while others are hungry.

would get so mad at people wasting food, or starting silly arguments (cabin 1 x cabin 5)

🏆⋆.ೃ࿔* nike cabin

they’d be either too tired while eating because of the training or would create dumb competitions

they have weird eating habits. i don’t really know how to explain but they eat weird food.

🧸⋆.ೃ࿔* hebe cabin

they are often scolded by cabin 16 for playing with their food or for speaking too loudly.

they’re just want the dessert, nothing else. (chiron won’t let them eat only sweet though)

🍀⋆.ೃ࿔* tyche cabin

never had to face situations like ordering something they don’t like or their food getting cold, because of their luck.

cabin 11 still tries to throw a pie on their faces but it just never works.

🔮⋆.ೃ࿔* hecate cabin

they put potions on the other cabins food sometimes, just to see the effect it’d have in people.

they take some food to the satyrs who live in the woods in exchange for magic ingredients for their studies.
