Different levels of Canon
I'm writing this at midnight for some reason, but I wanted to make a list of the different levels of canon as I like to put it. This is mostly to help people understand the different types of canon and describe their differences when it comes to storytelling. There is A LOT of explaining, but just bear with me here. Anyways, here are the different levels:
True Canon: This is the absolute and main story/timeline as well as the characters within it. ALWAYS made by the author's themselves. Think of the Dragon Ball franchise for example. Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and the current Dragon Ball Super manga is the main story (in that order too btw). For anyone who hasn't watched Dragon Ball at all, I'm sorry, but it'll probably make more sense down below. Any other stories/characters outside of the true canon Dragon Ball timeline is technically considered noncanon (will be explained down below). There isn't much to say about true canon since it's just the main story.
Canon/Noncanon: To put it simple, every single story ever made as well as the characters within it are canon in their OWN story, whereas they're noncanon EVERYWHERE else. If there is a crossover, however, it varies. If two stories connected and was made by a fan, then it's canon in its own story, but noncanon outside of the canon/true canon stories made by the author's and any other fan made stories using the same stories made by the same author (it sounds confusing, I know). If the crossover was made by the author's however, then it could be both canon and noncanon outside of the true canon timelines (it depends on the authors intentions. If the crossover is true canon to both stories, like Alien VS Predator or Freddy VS Jason, then the crossover does indeed happen and is apart of both main stories. If the crossover isn't true canon to both stories, then it's still considered canon on its own, but noncanon outside of the main stories). Lets use Dragon Ball as an example again. We all know the true canon timeline as explained above, and there are other stories which are made both by the author and fans. These other stories are ALL canon in their own story, but noncanon EVERYWHERE else like I said before. Dragon Ball GT is a good example. Although it takes place after Dragon Ball Z, it's technically considered noncanon outside of the true canon timeline because Dragon Ball GT has NEVER happened in the main story. However, in it's own story, it's canon. To restate, every story ever made and the characters in it are canon in their OWN story, but noncanon to EVERY OTHER story. It may sound confusing, but it'll make a lot of sense once you get what I'm saying.
Headcanon: They're basically hypotheses/theories based on ANY story (mostly characters) by the fans. For example, say there's a character that is very selfish and cares nothing but themselves. A headcanon is basically saying something about that same character that they have not yet shown or CAN be shown with supporting evidence, like betraying someone or becoming a future villain. Same thing with plot. If the ending hasn't been shown yet, but in the current state of the story, everything is going downhill and the antagonist is starting to win, you could headcanon that the ending also goes even more downhill. Once again, headcanons are basically just hypotheses/theories made by the fans towards the story and/or the characters in it that has not happened yet or can possible happen with evidence to support it.
Fanon: Completely made by the fans with the original author having absolutely NO interference (with a few exceptions). Fanon also means interpretations of a story and/or characters made by the fandom of that story and/or character's. Fanon stories are canon in their own sense like every single story ever made, but noncanon everywhere else, especially the main story/true canon it's based off of. I will once again be using Dragon Ball as an example. Any story made by a fan, NOT the original author, is considered fanon. It doesn't matter how the story and/or the characters are done, if it's made by a fan, then it is fanon. Fanon interpretations of characters and/or stories means that the fandom/community (can be a single person or the entirety of said fandom/community) have made this character and/or story based on HOW they usually see it or WANT to see it that hasn't happened yet or is completely unrelated to the actual story and/or characters.
To basically sum it up to give you more of a visual explanation, imagine a straight line. This line is the true canon of a story from beginning to end. Now imagine a bunch of smaller, thinner lines coming out of this straight line. These smaller and thinner lines are stories outside of the true canon. They are all canon in their own story, but noncanon everywhere else, hence why they aren't connecting to any other smaller lines and are appearing off of the straight line. These small lines are also based off of the original story and have some correlation with the original. These small lines can either be made by the author themselves or by fans alike. The ones made by fans are called fanon. Even smaller lines can appear off of these small lines, which means the author or fans alike have made stories based off of that stories canon. It can continue on to basically infinity. If crossovers happen, whether it'd be the stories true canon or any other story outside of it, then imagine another line connecting the two. Now imagine small lines that appear out of any already existing line (true canon or not) that suddenly disconnect to the line they came out of. These are stories (mostly, if not, always fanon) that do not have correlation AT ALL with the original story, but still are based off of it in some way. Once again, they are canon in their own story and noncanon everywhere else. Same thing with crossovers. A line will connect the two. Smaller lines will also grow out of these unattached lines as well similar to the true canon line. The true canon line is the biggest and thickest line to show the true, main and absolute story and the source of where all the other stories came from. Headcanons do not exist at all, as they are simply thoughts that have not been created anywhere on any of the lines yet.
I hope this helped anyone (who's still reading this) somewhat understand more about the different levels of canon as I like to say it. I may have missed some stuff or worded it poorly, but bear with me because I've been making this since midnight and it's already almost 1:30. I know it sounds confusing as hell, so if you have any questions or concerns, PLEASE ask me and I will gladly help you.

The Ultimate Guide to MCC!
New to watching mcc? Have no idea where to start? Or maybe you already watch mcc, and just want information all in one place?
Well, good news! I'm insane about MCC and made this massive post for no other reason! I plan to keep this updated as I think of other vods/clips and new stuff happens, so if you want to be sure you're reading the most up to date version of the post, click here.
With all that out of the way-
What is MCC?
MCC stands for Minecraft Championships and is an event organized by Noxcrew, who develop and test the games, and Scott Smajor, who makes the teams! The event takes place usually once a month, and 10 teams of 4 people compete to be the top two teams overall by playing eight minigames! The top two teams battle it out at the end by playing Dodgebolt (first to win three rounds takes the crown).
Noxcrew announces the teams and next date of the event on MCC's official twitter and their newsletter via email, although @mcc-updates posts the teams here as well after they're announced.
Some useful links and more information on the event:
mcc.live - Official site that updates live during the event! Team scores are updated live here, and links to all the streaming POV's are included. You can also find information on past MCC's and how an individual performed!
MCC Wiki - Community run wiki for the event! You can find information on any player that's ever been in an MCC, information about how the event works, and information on individual events.
A list of active games in the event, and how each are played can be found here!
Canon VS. Noncanon MCCs
Sometimes, Noxcrew decides to host an MCC that is considered "noncanon". Typically, this means that something about the event is different, and player's coins and stats for that MCC will not go into the overall average of their played events. Some examples of noncanon mccs:
MCC Pride (held once a year, typically raises money for the Trevor Project!
MCC Rising (only players who have never participated in an MCC before may be in it!)
MCC Scuffed (April Fools MCC, the entire event was scuffed on purpose, an incredibly funny overall event)
MCC All Stars (Only players who have won an MCC participate)
With all of that out of the way, some iconic and hilarious clips from across the events!
(note: where I could, I've included the vods that these clips came from!)
Grian's Iconic 1v3 Dodgebolt (MCC 17)
Jimmy Solidarity's 1v3 Dodgebolt (MCC 28)
Illumina EWW (MCC 15)
Purpled's nearly perfect Parkour Warrior run with Ranboo and Charlie losing their minds in the background (MCC 26)
Purpled's perfect Parkour Warrior Run (MCC 32)
Jojo's insane Sands of Time carry (MCC 31)
"Joel, I want a divorce!" (MCC 10)
"Sapnap I will eat your children!" (MCC 18)
Lord Grian Dreamslayer (MCC 9)
Michael Mcchill's Ace Race breakdown (MCC All Stars)
MCC Iconic Vods/Fan Favorites!
Orange Ocelots MCC 17 - Grian, Falsesymmetry, Petezahutt and SB737
Orange Ocelots MCC 24 - Tubbo, Tommyinnit, Hbomb and Jack Manifold
Blue Bats MCC Scuffed - Smallishbeans, Smajor, Fwhip and Geminitay
Cyan Coyotes MCC 24 - PearlescentMoon, Aimsey, JojoSolos and Hannahxxrose
Blue Bats MCC 9 - Falsesymmetry, Rendog, Hbomb and Fruitberries
If you want some other great channels and streams for MCC, I've listed some below!
All Things MCC is a channel hosted by Seapeekay and always uploads a video after each MCC featuring their picks for the top ten plays of the event! They also do team predictions + the occasional other video on MCC. Super fun, and a great way to catch some clips you may have missed during the event.
MCC Vault posts clips of various perspectives from various events--typically another way to see things you might not get to see otherwise.
If you're a Sands of Time enjoyer, Hbomb94 usually goes live the day after the event and vod reviews at least one POV of Sands of Time from each team. Super entertaining, and a fun way to really get to know the strats for that game.
You may be thinking-wow, these games look really fun! Is there a way for anyone to play them?
The answer is yes-and no. While some of the games are not currently available for download, Noxcrew has a public minecraft server called MCC Island, available for anyone to join and play! As of right now, the available games to play on that server are:
Parkour Warrior (available in singleplayer mode and a fast paced competitive mode)
Sky Battle (eight teams compete instead of ten, and there are maps available that are not played in the main event!)
To Get To The Other Side (three rounds instead of six, uses a mixture of maps from the event and maps that are not played in the event)
Hole in the Wall (be warned--there are traps, different maps, and overall is a harder game on the island. My personal fav:D)
Battle Box (three rounds instead of nine, mixture of maps
Noxcrew has stated they plan on adding more games to the server, and there are events and other things happening too!
IP to join the server: play.mccisland.net
You can find more information and official forums here!
Additionally, you can download Terra Swoop Force and play it on a singleplayer world or put it in a server with your friends! Link for the download and instructions here.
Finally, Grid Runners is an available map on Bedrock edition only--I don't know much about bedrock, only that it is an option. Link to that info here.
I think that's about it for now! I'll update this as I think of things or am asked to add something:) Hopefully this helps a bit, cause I know coming into this stuff with no info can be overwhelming!

I have a question, I know we know that shipping does not equal morality. And I get that, and I really like that. However, on my other blog, that should have been my main blog (yes I am that dumb). I have talked about Aang's non-consensual and criticized how Kataang is written, however, if you ship Kataang I won't come for your throat because that's not my style. I know the few misogynists/antis on here and on Twitter, and I don't want to let a few bad apples be my impression of a fandom, that's not fair, So now I'm side-eyeing myself over my past remarks. Likewise, I know shipping is not equal to morality, but I also want to criticize Kataang because of how flawed it is and how wrong that kiss was (and other things). I have no idea what I'm saying because at this point I'm rambling. What do you think?
Well, there is a difference between criticizing a ship and criticizing canon. I don't honestly care what people ship. I use the antikataang tag because I don't want to argue with people who do ship it, but that doesn't mean I won't be critical of what is in the show. I think expecting people not to engage critically with media is absolute nonsense. But there is a difference between engaging critically with the actual media and criticizing people's fanon or headcanons, which is where you get away from critically engaging with canon and move into the area of criticizing other people's opinions, which is how arguments start.
Like, there isn't really any actual concrete argument you can make to criticize zutara, because zutara does not exist in canon. It's all fanon and headcanons and speculation. And criticizing other people's opinions just makes you look like a dick.
You also have to take into account the intention behind something. The thing about the way Katara's relationship with Aang is presented is that we're supposed to root for Aang to get Katara, and every obstacle towards that end is just there to create dramatic tension for the male point of audience identification. That's the real problem with the noncon kiss, and people who are critical of it are right to point it out.
In contrast, when I say shipping isn't morality, I'm talking about people who write, let's say, dubcon zutara fics. Fanfiction as a genre is largely female-centered fantasy. Yes, even those lurid fics you're thinking of. People write and read these fics for completely different reasons and have completely different expectations than when watching a series like ATLA. Trying to say that someone can't criticize the way the show presents Aang kissing Katara after she said she was confused as a mistake to be glossed over (that is forgotten as soon as it happens) because they also happen to like reading darkfic is nonsense. There's also a long history of women's interests being policed that informs my views here, vs the fact that consent has only fairly recently become a conversation in mainstream media. You have only to look at the way the show itself portrays Katara having interests (especially in boys) outside of Aang as dark and dangerous to see this happening in ATLA itself. Or the way the creators got away with saying that zutara shippers are doomed to end up in abusive relationships while painting Aang as a typical Nice Guy stereotype who expects Katara to magically become his girlfriend (and gets angry when she doesn't) and seeing nothing wrong with it.
The thing is that zutara, if we look at the way it's written in canon as a metaphor for a romantic relationship, follows the same tradition of how fanfiction has historically existed as an exploration of romantic and sexual dynamics. Those conversations about consent are actually happening and being explored in fanfiction, even the dark stuff, whereas relationships that are presented as "wholesome" often push us to NOT have those conversations. So when I say shipping isn't morality, what I actually mean is that noncanon shipping and darkfic actually has more of a moral leg to stand on than uncritically engaging with relationships on the grounds that Aang is the hero so his goodness and worthiness to get the girl should just be assumed. Zuko has to work for his right to be in a relationship with Katara because he didn't start out from a place of goodness, and that, on its own, is very female centered because instead of starting out from the perspective of the male hero deserving a relationship by virtue of being the hero, we see the idea that a man has to work to gain a woman's respect and affection.
So it's not so much that I hate KA, but I hate the idea that we should engage in it uncritically. And that would be true even if it really was the most wholesome relationship in the world. The same thing cannot be true of zutara because even the darkest of darkfic are about women centering themselves in the narrative and engaging with power dynamics in ways that are subverting patriarchal norms about relationships by definition.

Sandman is wonderfully queer, it's true, but I still feel like there's a disconnect between shows that try to cater to queer fandom audiences by offering queer characters vs offering queer characters people will actually ship, and the key to characters people actually ship is friendship.
There's so much mockery of fans who want queer representation in media on the assumption they just want to see hot, same-sex characters bang and so often when these fans are "catered to" it's with explicitly sexual relationships between same-sex characters. Which is great by the way, definitely don't want to punish the behavior I want to see in the world, but it's not what drives fandom interest in a queer ship.
The reason Dream/Hob is one of the most popular emerging ships for the show isn't because they're unspoken and noncanonical, it's because they're friends. I don't just believe they'd be hot together as a couple (but I do, given Dream's bedroom eyes in 1789) but because we were shown 600+ years of them growing their friendship and now we want to see them build on that to become romantic (and sexual!) partners because we were shown how they fit together and complete each other's needs.
A huge percentage of queer fandom shipping fic isn't about seeing sexy times between hot characters, it's about seeing characters who clearly connect and care for one another, regardless of gender, also becoming romantic and sexual partners. It's why the friendship-to-canonical-romance arc of Our Flag Means Death made the fandom world go insane. It's why just having queer ships isn't enough to deliver fandom's obsession and to this day, it's baffling how much it feels like a lot of shows don't realize that.

Sorry, I'm asking here because asks aren't on your doomreed account, but do you have any fic recs for them ? You and vinnies art have intrigued me 😭 they both seem like such wet cats in different ways, and I love that
help i didnt know asks were off fixed that now thank you... I have two fics i keep in my back pocket as like, exemplary distillations of their whole thing (one in college vs one of their usual superhero stuff,) these are;
Supersymmetry and Night Blooms
Rly good examples of their usual shenanigans, the second one is directly based on a canon comic issue that *feels* like fanfic by a prolific yaoi author, the first is set in a modern-time re-imagining of the fantastic four where they meet in a supergenius internship thinktank for gifted youngsters. There's other fics that are good but i think they might be super confusing without canon context! which leads me to my second point. After you read these fics...
A lot, and i mean A LOT of official doomreed stuff feels straight up like fanfic. Either because its so beautifully woven or insane in concept (doctor doom points a gun at the real life Jack Kirby and Stan Lee to get himself written back into reed's life in his 3rd ever classic appearance, in the 60's, THAT'S the bodyswap issue)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
or because the literal authors themselves come out to say 'they're soulmates' or 'they're in love' and Im talking abt this:
Tumblr media
(^joseph culp, the first ever doom actor from 1994)
Tumblr media
(^fantastic four (2019))
I've got even more stuff under the cut!! AND recs!!! CLICK! v v v
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(^jonathan hickman, author of arguably the best FF saga & Secret Wars (2015)!!!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(^Cantwell, author of the Doctor Doom comic!!)
These are excerpts from the canon fantastic four book, DOOMGATE:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's even an RPG INSTRUCTION MODULE based on the idea of an earth where Reed & Victor partner up in college, Reed dies a tragic death (via their lab experiments) and Victor assumes such a traumatized widow role in his honor that he grows up to be a golden hero and protector of earth LOL (still a bit nuts):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is not even to touch on the breadth of all their comic issues and little moments together. Victor canonically delivers Reed's second child and he chooses her name! Shes treated like his child too and calls him uncle doom!!
Tumblr media
...Victor even asks Reed out on candlelit dinner dates for a yearly Latverian holiday!
In fact, that's the great starter doom/reed issue i keep recommending: read [ My Dinner With Doom right here. ]
If you enjoy that, check out my [ broader post guide for doomreed reading. ]
Tumblr media
Still on the fence? try out these single comic issues:
Doctor Doom:
*Fantastic Four (1961) annual 2 (Classic origin of Doom issue) *Some call it MAGIC (the introduction of Doom's struggle w/ the devil for his mother's soul)
Doomreed:
*Marvel Two-in-One (2017) annual 1 *Marvel Two-in-One (2017) #11 (2nd fic i linked is based on this!!!!!!!!!) *'Duel Intentions' short story *Doom 2099 (2019) *Fantastic Four #700 special *Shame Itself (noncanon satire mini)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway I've had a lot of fun reading these series generally and their big, year-spanning arcs are incredible. People hype up Secret Wars for a reason, Hickman's fantastic four builds up a really compelling doom/reed epic of cosmic divorce proportions. And its about love! And Forgiveness!

ok so i was actually kinda surprised to find that looking at the ao3 stats and adjusting for how long ofmd’s existed (a year and a half) vs how long the stucky fandom’s been around (coming up on a decade), not only is gentlebeard on par with stucky but it actually beats stucky for amount of fics written. but i’m making a prediction now just based on how i’ve observed fandoms to work: i do think the gentlebeard popularity will peter out faster than stucky did
i’m not saying bc i think gentlebeard is worse or the ofmd fandom is weak or anything, i’m saying this bc in fandom it seems like the white masc queerbait ships* have like, an absurd amount of longevity that goes way beyond the general fandom surrounding whatever media said white masc queerbait ship hails from. im thinking abt the protagonist/rival ship from the TERF wizard series that nobody decent talks about in public anymore. before we all cut jkr out of our lives, people were still churning out fics abt the main character and that racist blond kid pretty regularly. and another example, we have those scientists from pacific rim that are more popular than any of the main characters from that movie. it’s been years and the newt/hermann fandom is still going strong.
and i say “newt/hermann fandom” intentionally, bc that’s the thing that i think actually gives these ships their longevity: when there are fans who are primarily invested in a piece of media because of a noncanonical masc4masc queerbait ship, they’re not really fans of the media itself. i mean, some of them might be, but if they are then that’s in addition to being fans of this alternate queer interpretation of the media in question. they’re a fan of the fandom mass hallucination that the fans collectively and collaboratively invented of a romantic/sexual/homoerotic relationship between two guys who on-screen might hug like once or twice (or sometimes even never)
and i’m pretty sure the reason this sort of fandom phenomenon tends to have so much longevity is bc the fans have already created this whole extensive romantic storyline using what is often some pretty minimal canonical material to work with. so when the movie franchise or the tv show ends and the shippers no longer have any new canonical material to work with, they can keep going for years because really, they were already making shit up from the start.
so compared to that, gentlebeard is way different bc everything the fans might have invented on our own the show pretty much already did for us, and anything the show didn’t do yet is probably coming for us this season (or in s3, fingers crossed). i’ve mentioned before how a lot of fanfiction seems to fall on a spectrum between “fix” and “expand,” and by the end of ofmd i doubt there’s gonna be a whole lot that gentlebeard fans feel like they need to “fix.” versus stucky, where there’s so much that needs to be fixed that you might as well just throw the whole canon out.
i don't really mean any of this as a criticism or an attack on fans of queerbait ships like this, im just pointing out fandom trends that i've noticed. i myself have been deeply invested in stucky, newmann, and the gay wizard boys at different points in my life. like there is something very fun abt putting on slash goggles and making queer content out of nothing. personally though, now that we're in an age where we're getting canon queer content, im not so engaged in a lot of the ships i used to care so much about, but i don't think it's inherently wrong** for people to still enjoy some classic fandom queerbait ships. it's just a very different thing from enjoying canonical queer ships like gentlebeard
*im using “queerbait ships” loosely to include popular gay ships in media that was never in a million years going to make these characters gay.
**a clarifying point: i don't think it's inherently wrong, however there are a lot of problematic elements to this kind of fandom activity, namely the way a lot of these queerbait ships will dominate a fandom while other characters who are important in canon get completely sidelined (and yes, the sidelined characters are often women/poc). also, less importantly, when people's primary media consumption revolves around strip mining canon for shipping content, this absolutely destroys their media literacy and critical thinking. again, im not saying this to attack ppl who engage in fandom primarily through fic/art of noncanonical gay ships, i myself have done the same thing. but i think ppl who do should also make a conscious effort to also engage with fan content that centers women/poc, or at the very least need to be aware of the issues around this kind of fandom activity.

Round 2 Poll 12: Purah from legend of Zelda vs Harrowhark Nonagesimus from the locked tomb
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Entry propaganda:
Purah
Fellas is it mad science to throw the chosen hero into the air so he can just get an okay view of the land
I just think she's neat (and gay) (Btw she's also in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as a teenager, and in Breath of the Wild as a child (experiment gone wrong, she's over 100 and was trying to make herself younger). In Tears of the Kingdom she's an adult again, so that would probably be the best game to get art from, if she gets in, as aoc is a noncanon game)
Look, I have no evidence she's a lesbian or not but she's the 'recent hot mad scientist' in my current media orbit and I know lots of people including several queer women thisting over her new design so I thought I'd throw her hat in the ring -- or her big clunky lab goggles as it were 🤷
Harrowhark Nonagesimus
Did you ever love a girl so much you lobotomized yourself of all memory of her?
Almost killed herself with the intensity of her studies. Multiple times.
canon lesbian and a prodigy necromancer. once gave herself a lobotomy.
Lesbian necromancer in space sciences real good

Warriors (book series) | Ace Attorney (video game series & anime)
Tumblr media
Firestar & Graystripe:
Oh crap this is a required question uh. They met each other by beating each other up and were inseparable since. Except that one time Graystripe left him to join another clan but we’ll ignore that part. Firestar wouldn’t promote another deputy/second in command for months after Graystripe was catnapped even though it’s apparently God’s will that you have to before the midnight after the former deputy is unable to continue their role. Breaking the Laws Of God because he was so sad his friend was gone. Later on after Firestar dies one of the writers wrote a noncanon short story where Firestar’s ghost appears to Graystripe and I forgot what happened next oops. Anyway these guys were my first thought when thinking of fictional friendships so 👍
Fanart credit goes to ME
Maya Fey & Phoenix Wright:
1. Quite frankly I don’t think they will win. They are constantly being tormented and experiencing the horrors and this poll would be no different. 2. they literally cannot die no matter what hell canon puts them through. fall off that bridge n cliff to a deathly boy! get kidnapped like 4 times girl! when she gets kidnapped like the first time, they had to make a new sprite for Phoenix coz he didn’t look devasted and depressed enough. Power of friendship though! and she is OKI! :) 3. The most iconic attorney and assistant pair in the series. Phoenix canonically ran onto a burning bridge to try to save Maya when she was in danger. His call with her got cut off once and he left the country to go make sure she was safe. She’s been kidnapped twice to be used as leverage against him and both times she was more worried about him than herself. She once jumped in front of a taser to try to protect him. He’s also defended her from murder accusations like four times. Their relationship defines the original game trilogy even more than the Wright-Edgeworth relationship does. Other Ace Attorney games wish they could replicate this dynamic. They got added to a fighting game as a single unit where they work together to fight. They both think they’re the reasonable one in this friendship, despite neither of them actually deserving that title.
Note: This blog is run & followed by aromantics. Insisting any pairs are ~actually romantic~ will not only cause you to be blocked on the spot, but you'll out yourself as someone not safe to be queer around. No one wants to hear how stupid you look with those shipping goggles on.

we have our first double submission! i'll have to check out this guy.
It's very late here (i am unfortunately american) so I'm going to sleep, but I'll start posting polls tomorrow after work! I'll probably start with two polls a day (oh jeez I have to learn to queue things after a decade on tumblr...) but will adjust based on how many submissions i have and how fast they keep coming in - I have no plans to close the form.
I'm definitely going to be including noncanon ADHD characters because this is some compelling evidence! (Shout out to the person who did an entire DSM-V diagnosis of their blorbo. Big Mood. Also I'm in that fandom and you're so right.) I do have one question: How do you guys think it would be better to distinguish canon and noncanon characters in the title of the poll?
Option A: "Do you know this canonically ADHD character" vs "Do you know this character with ADHD traits"
Option B: "Do you know this (canon) ADHD character" vs "Do you know this (noncanon) ADHD character"
I am so so so happy that so many people seem so excited about this blog!! I hope I can create a fun time for all of us.
EDIT OBVIOUSLY I SHOULD HAVE MADE THIS A POLL...
