Cowboy bebop is boring.

I watched it when I was a lot younger, 14ish, because people said it was good. So I kept watching it, waiting for it to start getting good. Then it ended. What a waste of time. See, I was expecting cool anime noir stuff, like that gunhead anime. Unfortunately cowboy bebop is a character study into Spike as a person, so if you don't care about him/immediately clock his character, like me, the show holds no weight. Nothing interesting happens. It goes how you expect. Maybe if I watched it again it would be good as a period piece but... why bother. There's better stuff out there now, even if they have worse designs and openings. (That jazz opening gave me so much false hope that the show would even be half as good. Rip.)
