Calling yourself a "romantic" person would be quite a stretch.

Saying Valentine's was your favorite day of the year would be even worse.

Sure, sure, you'd heard plenty of things, from the nagging old man manning the grocery store, always red in the face from regular swigs of cheap liquor, or the seemingly never endless musings from your classmates, swooning and fainting every moment anyone, or more specifically, the leads starring in those dramas of theirs, did anything remotely affectionate.

Young, innocent love, while a splendid thing, for someone like you, your really only option was to endlessly pine after someone who would certainly not return your affections.

The recipient of such foolish affections? That much was obvious. What a rather hopeless person, you were.

At the very least, he seemed to enjoy your presence. A smile would adorn his lips, and he'd always meet your gaze with his familiar greeting of, "Good morning, did you sleep well?"

Fuck, you hated how such a simple line, questioning of your wellbeing, could tug at your heartstrings so effortlessly. The man was playing you like a fiddle, and a part of you didn't try to resist that.

So the moment February 14th rolled itself around, bearing promises of youthful laughter, baby cupids, hearts, and sweets, you tried not to pay heed to the extra weight of chocolates in your school bag.

Had you stayed up late making them just the right sweetness, making sure they were perfectly heart-shaped?

Yes. As stated previously, you were truly hopeless.

"Ah, good morning." Wow, look at you, taking the initiative to greet someone? Truly, a day of magic and wonder! You're almost jump scared at the sight of him in your classroom, just what the fuck was he doing here? He leaned against the doorway, looking terribly pretty in the morning lighting.

This was not doing wonders to your heart.

Upon seeing you, he straightened his posture, looking suspiciously sheepish with an extra non-characteristic, flusteredness on his features. "You're here early today."

"It's Valentine's." That's all you managed to sputter out with that tied tongue of yours.

"Yes, and?" He raised an eyebrow questioningly, not entirely convinced, and followed you to your seat like some sort of lost puppy.

Your brain raced to find a rationale he'd deem reasonable. "Uhm, ah... my friend... is planning to confess to a guy, so I had to come early and help her... set up the place she's planning to do so at?"

"I see... ah," His eyes lit up like he had thought of something. "Are you free after school? We should meet up afterward, so you can tell me how it went...?"

"Yes!" You responded a little too quickly, and cussing yourself out in you head, you corrected it. "Ahem- yes, I'd like that." The burning feeling that arose on your face was starting to become too prominent to ignore.

He didn't seem to pay it any mind, and instead beamed in a close-eyed smile. "Perfect. Then, I'll see you?" You were to bid him goodbye, but he ran off before you could even utter a sound, leaving you rather dumbfounded, blank-faced and still feeling the tingling warmth on your cheeks.

Holy shit, is this my chance?? You’d made chocolates on the eensiest, weensiest off chance that you might grow bold enough to hand it to him, even if under the pretense of “as friends”, but with the violent way your heart was pounding in your chest, you didn’t think avoidance would be an option.

Ahaha, you were making a mistake, weren’t you?

Only one way to find out.

The rest of the day went by as predicted. Fanatic screams and a wave of crazed people chasing after the more popular figures of the school, throwing boxes of chocolates and bouquets of roses... hey, wasn't this a safety hazard? There were other screams too - but not of excitement, but terror as a man was crushed and trampled under a wave of love-sick girls chasing after the popular boy in class 2-A.

You just hoped that he wouldn't sue the school. The place was already cutting enough corners when it came to the monstrosity of cafeteria food.

The bell rang, signaling your freedom, and you massaged your shoulders with a sigh. You'd survived, somehow. As you stepped out the door, a ding from your phone alerted you with a text, and as you lit up the screen, the corner of your lips unconsciously turned upwards into a soft smile.

Stepping into his classroom, you scanned your surroundings for the familiar sight of the man. Low and behold, there he was, sat upon, presumably, his desk, and staring out the window like some main character. You walked over, trying your best to disregard the clamminess of your fingers - or more specifically, the hand that was holding your homemade chocolates hidden safely(?) away behind your back. His features brightened at the sight of you, and he swung his legs, ushering you over to share the view with him.

"Sorry, did you wait long?" You sheepishly grinned as he scooted to the side to give you space to sit down next to him. As you did so, you were made painfully aware of how his body was still pressed up against yours. “I almost got trampled on my way here, not a pretty sight.”

“...Pretty sight?” He echoed his words, tilting his head as he pondered, the slightest curve of a smile tugging at his lips. “You?”

“W-What? No, I-” You cleared your throat before he could say another word, trying to dispel the blush on your features. Naturally, you failed to do so. “What kind of things are you saying now? Just who’d you learn that from?”

“Haa? What do you mean, learned? I just said the truth, that’s all…”

God, he was so adorable. This man had definitely run off with your heart.

Now or never, you supposed. Standing upwards abruptly, you pulled out the heart-shaped box of chocolates you’d been hiding behind your back the entire time, visibly trembling as you held it outwards.

“Will you be my valentine?”

It took him the count of three to respond, his eyes round and doe-like. He blinked rapidly, and then his cheeks flushed - not with his usual cheeriness, but a red that definitely spoke of flusteredness. “H-Hey, that's no fair…”

“...What?” Damn, was this your rejection? You had expected as much, but-

“I was supposed to give you chocolates first, y’know…”

And just like that, the familiar boy before you reached beside him into the darkly lit space and pulled out his own box of chocolates, lightly colored and wrapped beautifully in shimmering golden ribbon. “It took me so long to do this, and yet…”

“Holyfuckingshitwhat.” The curses flew from your mouth, condensed into a single word. “W- H- Y-You… You got chocolates for me?”

Now this was a first. Seeing his cheeks and tips of his ears all rosy, and seeing him all kicked-puppy-like. He nodded slowly, “Mhm… But, this is good too!”

He likes me.

Hoooooly shit.

“Ah, oh no, I didn’t give you an answer, did I?” His usually soft eyes now filled with panic. “Don't tell me I'm too late, I’ll be your valentine!”

The chocolates, surely, would be sweet. But the sensation of your lips meeting his, the undeniable warmth he bestowed upon you — it was sweeter than anything. ♡

(a/n) lmao guess what. i got sick again. i was sick last month and i mfucking sick and dying again and the only thing saving me is shitty couhg medicine that doesn't even work and like expired coughdrops my couhgdrop supply is running low and oh god i don't THINK IM GOINNA MAKE IT-

al-haitham

seeing you in a pretty, elegant outfit, probably some kind of dress or suit, maybe showing your collarbones or it just being mesmerizing, it's up to you how you imagine a perfect fit ;) he is just PHYSICALLY UNABLE to take his eyes off you! the usually calm and collected al-haitham forgets how to use the ability to speak for a brief second.

the moment you left the room in which you were getting ready as he was waiting outside, he almost gasped out loud

i mean literally, this man's brain stopped working for a second

you two were supposed to attend tighnari's birthday party, and while he didn't consider it a occasion to wear something elegant, you did the opposite

that's why he was left so speechless. because he was caught by surprise! he thought you would wear your casual clothes just as he did…

but it happened, you wore one of your favorite outfits for special occasions, and he was flabbergasted

of course it's not like your look was the only reason he has fallen for you! he was definitely considering it many times before this happened, but he was living in denial.

"no, i don't actually have feelings for them. they make me feel comfortable, i crave hearing their voice or laugh and i care about them a lot, but no, we're just friends" - probably al-haitham to himself at some point in his life.

but this time, he couldn't explain his feelings in any rational way known to man. you were so stunning that his eyes shined uncontrollably when he laid them on you. he was so busy studying your silhouette, your face and your hair that he didn't even hear your first question, which was:

"and? how do i look?" you asked, opening the door but still keeping your hands on the doorframe and leaning on it. you were slightly blushed because it was quite embarrassing to let him see you like this, but if you were to be honest, you were also a little bit excited to see his reaction

so when he didn't even answer you and remained indifferent on the outside, the slightly raised corners of your mouth drooped

you just weren't aware of what he's been experiencing on the inside…

because his heart started pounding a little bit faster and he was ashamed of it but on the other hand you looked gorgeous and he couldn't stop himself from thinking about what would he do if you were in relationship

(he had such a strong urge to kiss your hand like a gentleman for some reason)

"what? do i really look that bad?" you asked after you have swallowed the bitterness of your first impression

"sorry?" he said, blinking, your words drawing him out of his reverie, "did you say something?"

you snorted, annoyed by his behavior, assuming that he probably couldn't care less about your look at the moment, but at least he should try to pretend he does

but oh, how wrong you were…

when you repeated the question he only murmured something under his breath in response, so you decided to let him be

you noticed he got sweaty all of sudden, it was probably too hot for him inside, you thought, so you took the last things and you two left the house.

in reality, he wasn't feeling hot because of the temperature of course, but he was just as surprised by his own actions as you were. surprised in a slightly different way though….

talking with tighnari... he found all his confidence to talk to him about his possible feelings for you, that he could not recognize and tighnari was left speechless because of how innocent and lost in his feeling cyno looked

he was probably hanging out with tighnari someday, maybe they went out for a dinner, and somehow the topic of conversation has come down to you

for a long time he was hesitant to talk about his feeling towards you out loud but today he decided he'd try discussing it with his friend

because if not tighnari then who would be a suitable person? surely not you

also, don't think that he was aware of what he's feeling. HAHA, no. he would never

"what in your opinion y/n thinks of me…?" was his first question. he tried to choose the words carefully and say it in his normal tone but even a small sign of arousal in his voice was enough for tighnari to notice that something is up

"and why are you asking?" he wanted to make sure that his interpretation is right

"no reason in particular," his answer was quick, those words escaped his lips uncontrollably, so he had to add something "i just consider them a close friend and i want to know if they do too."

tignari almost started laughing out loud, but he controlled himself.

close friend? oh man, he is so clueless…

"are you sure that they are a "close friend?"" he was actually having some fun but at the same time he just wanted to smack himself on the forehead, he couldn't decide

"well, definitely not a "distant friend""

that's it, that's the moment when tighnari smacked his forehead

"i'll pretend i didn't hear that," he tried to be serious, but it wasn't easy. "listen, you look at them like they are your entire world. that's the kind of look people give to their lovers, not close friends!" he finally said it out loud

cyno had to blink twice to process what was just said.

he. in love. with you?

maybe? i mean, he always cared about your opinion about his jokes the most and he wanted to spend as much time as possible with you… but he thought that it's normal for friends to feel this way. and to steal glances at you person when you aren't looking, and to read every book you recommend him…

"you say so?" he finally asked, resting his chin on his hands "then maybe you're right," he admitted out loud

"FINALLY" tighnari couldn't hold it any longer… he was SO relieved that his friend won't be acting like he is running around in the fog anymore… right?

"and why are you so emotional about it?" cyno was genuinely confused (pls help this man he is often so clueless)

"because by now even collei knew"

when you kept coming back after all of his attempts to push you away. he wanted to protect you, protect you from him, because for a human it would be better to stay away from his karmic debt, right? but when you remained determined to get closer to him no matter how many times he tried to disencourage you, he slowly realized that maybe, just maybe he can let you get closer to his heart than he ever let anyone to be.

in his case, there wasn't any particular situation that made him realize his feelings, it was rather a complex and long process (not really a chokehold then but shh…)

he knew you for several months despite of his numerous attempts of cutting any ties he had with you

it was just that… you were stubborn. but not in a regular way, no. your stubbornness was much less invasive and annoying, and it manifested in your constant willingness to get closer to him

however, you never imposed yourself nor did you try convincing him! you were just visiting wangshu inn regularly, maybe tried striking up a conversation a few times, even just sitting in silence was enough for you

and because of all those actions he never felt overwhelmed by your presence! actually, after some time, he just got used to it and secretly started liking it

however, there was always this silent voice in the back of his head that he shouldn't be doing this and that he's forgetting himself

so definitely, when he slowly started thinking of you in that way at the very beginning he was IN SUCH A BIG DENIAL that it's almost unbelievable

alright, he admitted it to himself, but swore to N E V E R talk to anyone about it, especially and above all, to you.

he just decided to act as if those feelings didn't exist, that's all. and it went like that for quite a long time unfortunately… (at least you can be sure that he keeps his promises at all costs!!)

and after some time, when he was surprised that they didn't just go away, a certain thought crossed his mind…

he started thinking about what ifs and imagining what could happen if he theoretically decided to tell you about his feelings

(he spent another few months on that though)

at some point he just couldn't look at you without seeing you both holding hands in his mind or stand next to you without the urge to put his hand on your shoulder (of course only in private, he would never do pda…)

but still, his karmic debt…

he was so torn between those two thoughts (there were two wolves inside of him)

but as you expect, after months of his internal struggling, and your consistency in getting closer to him and encouraging him to open up, he let his feelings win for once in his long life

if you asked cyno any childish question relating to romance, be it a crush or if he's ever had a partner at all, the most you get is a blank stare. for someone you may consider a sharp man, the only time he'll ever let you call him dense is when it comes to romance.

because even he can't deny it, he's a loser when it comes to romance.

and when he defends himself on that topic, saying he has at least tried to find a partner before, you can believe him because he has tried. but no one really liked tcg and horrendously timed puns as much as him, poor guy.

sometimes, he's actually rather bitter about his failed attempts at romance, and opts to curse old pal cupid even when they had nothing to do with it.

but, said cupid seemed to take pity on him, and shot an arrow right through his heart the day you were introduced to his life. to say it was love at first sight, well cyno wouldn't really disagree at this point.

" . . . and this, this is cyno. he considers himself the funniest in our group," kaveh snickers at the last few words as he waves two arms in front of cyno to lend your attention to him, "we believe we're entitled to our own opinions, even when some aren't the best." kaveh laughed to himself about his side comment, earning a blank stare from the shorter male, who then looked to you with a completely different look — a look of timidity and hesitation, tossing you a soft but noticeable smile, one of which you returned with your own.

"i'm fond of those with humor, it's a pleasure to meet you, cyno." you extended a hand out for him, waving kaveh off as he gave up in nagging you to go meet the others with him first, opting to lean back on a desk in impatience. cyno nodded at your words, very slowly shaking your hand - goodness, your skin was very pleasant to the touch - and parting his lips to reply, "the pleasure is all mine," with the next words, he swears his lips moved on their own, "a new face, especially one as attractive as yours, is always refreshing from the usually dull surroundings here." with this, kaveh shot him a pointed look, which he only ignored in sake of the way you glowed when you laughed with him.

"well, he's so far proven his claim right." you smirked as you added on to the unintentional mock towards kaveh, laughing even louder as the blonde's expression morphed into an even more comical one. he scoffed at the two of you and threw his hands up in defeat, "fine, let the short guy show you around. i was already being so generous —" "so, how about i finish the job of showing you around ? i assume you're new, after all." "i wouldn't mind !" "huh—i didn't mean literally !-"

" . . . and then—oh, [name] !" cyno gulps at the way he called out your name, and the pointed look tighnari threw his way did not help. tighnari shook his head and walked over to you first, cyno following behind him in thought.

he's noticing the differences in himself lately, and he's embarrassed whenever he realizes that he's especially different around you. the way he can feel the shift in his mood whenever he sees you, he can hear the difference in the tone of his voice when he talks to you — he can feel the differences, but he doesn't know if he should take them as good signs.

he snaps out of his thoughts when tighnari snaps his fingers in front of his face, earning a laugh from you as tighnari chides him, "you're spacing out again, you didn't even respond to [name] greeting you." cyno shakes his head, "ah.. sorry. good morning [name]." a smile tugged the corners of his lips up again as you waved at him.

he's also noticed that little lingering feeling in his chest, perhaps he should discuss with tighnari about it when he finds the time to, since he's such a know-it-all.

"so anyway, kaveh said he handed you my notes yesterday ?" tighnari turned to you, "he didn't hand me anything, though ?" "ah... that fu—"

yeah, surely it wouldn't hurt to ask tighnari about it.

"'nari, can i ask about . . something ?" when the two finally went separate ways from you, cyno decided it would be convenient to ask his friend as they walk. "what about ?" tighnari slowed his pace, matching with cyno as they walked up the flight of stairs to their floor. "i've been feeling different lately, mainly around [name]." "don't say more." at this, the two of them stopped in their tracks as tighnari shook his head. observing this, cyno was about to feel guilty, did he accidentally imply something ?

only for tighnari to turn to him and laugh in his face.

"i was waiting for you to accept it and ask," tighnari breathes after laughing for a few seconds, "i didn't think you actually would. guess i owe kaveh 50." "what ?"

"you have a crush on [name], you dense fool." "what ?" tighnari laughs at his friend's expression, "you said you've noticed you've been different lately around [name], right ?" "well, that's not exactly what i said." "it's what it implied, anyway." tighnari started to walk ahead, up the stairs, letting cyno trail behind.

Part 2 ! Redoing this bcs it's so cringe

( disclaimer I made it as a fem reader bcs it is said that majority of the kitsunea are female. I apologize deeply, however, you can try reader the "her" as they instead. I hope this does not ruin it, please enjoy! It is all also seperated fics, for example : part 2 Kazuha x reader, part 3 Heizou x reader so on and so forth. Every part will be related to the story, the ending ?? Idk poly relationship WIKFWIA please give reccomendations for the ending otherwise im sticking with this ) ( btw pt2 of the Xiao ff I made is almost done !! So is why, little cupid? They're both almost done, after this I'll be postinng why little cupid first then the Xiao ff, thank you all sm for the attention I'm recieving !! )

Summary : Aether, Venti, Xiao, Kazuha, Heizou, Scaramouche, Tighnari, Cyno, Paimon and Lumine got teleported to an enchanted forest, they decided to go in the forest and they found a girl.

part 1 ; the meeting

Some slight screamings can be heard. "Woah! Is everyone okay!?" A high pitched voice said. "Me and Aether is fine. The others?" A female voice responded. "We're alright!" A male voice said with a slight playful tone said, "ahh that's good!"

they fell from the sky. I know, weird, but they came from a portal, don't ask. Rustling can be heard in the distance, the group of people looked at the beautiful forest behind them "what.. is this place!?" The high pitched voice yelled. "Shh Paimon! Whatever is in there we don't want to alarm them." A male voice said. "Paimon's sorry!" The high pitched voice that is so called Paimon apologized. "Let's just approach this forest with caution." A male with a comforting voice said. "Good idea Aether! I knew my brother would thought of that." A female voice said "Thanks, Lumine." The group proceeds go near the forest, as they get deeper they saw a figure lying on a rock. "Hey is that a girl?!" Paimon yelled, the girl groaned in annoyance, then Paimon covered her mouth, "what is she doing here?" Someone asks. "Oh! She might be stuck in here like us, c'mon Lumine! Let's wake her up." Paimon said "uh Paimon– I don't think we should wake someone up in their sle–" Lumine got cut by Paimon because she pulled her arm. They slowly approached a girl with rather long ears, you heard some foot steps near you so you woke up. You saw a blonde haired girl beside a floating ash white haired child, your eyes widen and sat up quickly "woah!" Paimon yelled in shock, "wh– who are you? And what are you doing here?!" You yelled, the others who decided to observe was shocked as well, "We–we're sorry! Paimon's sorry ! We just wanted to wake you up because we wanted to know if you're also stuck here!" Paimom apologizes. "What..? Stuck here..? Oh! So you went to the portal, I see.." you said while you calmed down "what portal?" The bloned haired female asks "before I answer your questions who are you guys? All of you." You said while turning your head to the other people, "Oh well Paimon's name is Paimon! And this is Lumine, this is her brother, Aether!" Paimon says as she pointed at him. "I see.. the others?" You asked "Well the guy here similliar to your ears is Tighnari, the one beaide him is Cyno, and our friendly bard here! His name is Venti. Oh and an adeptus! His name is Xiao, and a samurai! Kazuha! And a wanderer Scaramouche, a detective Heizou! And that's everyone!" Paimon said, "so many.. how does everyone remember their names!?" You aggressively ask "ehehe.." Paimon awkwardly giggles and scratches her head "anyways.. I'll get to know everyone by time." You said while standing up to stretch "you have a tail?!" Paimon surprisely asks "of course I do! Every kitsune in this world has at least 4 to 9 tails!" You yelled, "then why do you only have 1?" Paimon asks "because I hide the other tails." You tell Paimon "oh okay!" Paimon says understanding "oh question." Tighnari says "oh! Go ahead uh.." "Tighnari." "Right yes Tighnari, go ahead Tighnari." You say "what are the different types of kitsunes? Rather what kitsune are you?" Tighnari asks "oh I have the blood of Tengoku and Kukan, my family was also a tenko, so I have that running through my veins as well." You inform Tighnari. "Teng.. tengu.. uh.. Koka.. tek.. I'm sorry but these are even harder than our names!" Paimon complains you sigh in disappointment. "Very interesting. Can you please tell me what they are?" Tighnari asks again "huh? You're actually interested..? Well, sure Tengoku is a mix of 4 elements. Heaven, Celestial, Light, and prime. My element is Celestial. Kukan is void, or dark. Mine is void, however I haven't mastered it yet, a tenko is one of the strongest kitsunes to ever exist in this world. And the steongest kitsune are the kitsunes with 9 tails and an age of 1,000." You tell Tighnari, "interesting, I'm assuming you're a kitsune with 9 tails and an age of 1,000?" Tighnari asks "That's correct. However I haven't really mastered my power yet.. I tend to lose control over my power at some times, but that's only rare, so don't worry, if you guys need soneone to accompany you I'll be a decent kitsune as I roamed this area for thousands of years, I can help you find the existing portal to go back to your world." You said to them. "Are you sure..?" Paimon asks

"what do you mean?" you ask Paimon. "It's said Kitsunes likes to play tricks.." Paimon says suspiciously. "Majority of the Kitsunes are like that, but I can assure you I'm not like that." You assure Paimon "Oh! Alright, Paimon trusts you then!" Paimon says, you weren't listening instead you were staring at Tighnari, he didn't notice until he looked at you "Is everything okay..?" Tighnari nervously asks, "You give an awfully familiar feeling.. it's like I've met you before. Sorry." you say then looked at the ground. "Ah no- It's okay." Tighnari says, you then slightly tilt your head to Paimon's direction, "You can touch it, no worries" you said "r-really?!" Paimon says in shock, "Of course! Not that it's uncomfortable" Paimon squeeled happily and rubbed your ears. "It's so fluffy..! I could touch it forever!!" Paimon said in excitment. "You could however.. we still need to find that portal to your world." You said "awh you're right.." Paimon said in disappointment, "I just noticed those 3 don't really talk much, it's quite.. intimidating.. Why is that?" You whispered to Paimon and Lumine "they're just really quiet people in general, they aren't judging you though, don't worry, they're nice people." Lumine whispered back "oh alright I see, sorry for misunderstanding.." You tell them nervously scratching your neck, Tighnari is holding his laugh for some reason, "oh don't tell me you heard that." You tell him "don't worry I won't tell." Tighnari whisperes, you had a worried expression as you just noticed Cyno also has ears, Cyno was staring at you in confusion to why you were staring at him so worriedly so you just bowed as an apology "huh..?" Cyno mummbled in confusion "she uh apologized? No idea." Scaramouche said "weird.." he said in addition to his sentence. "Anyways let's get going.. the sooner the better." You said going deeper to the forest, "wait we don't know the way!" Paimon yelled "I do! So follow me and don't get lost!" You say. "A– alright!" Paimon said and floated to your way, Lumine followed and Aether signed the others to follow you. "W–wait!" Paimon said panting "oh? Was I too fast? I apologize." You stopped and turned around "yes.. and we didn't get your name!" Paimon said "oh right! My name is Y/n, really sorry.." you said "alright Y/n slow down! Paimon can't keep up!" Paimon said, you nervously laugh, your ears twitch to a rustling sound, "did you guys hear that?" You asks. "Yeah.." Lumine says quietly "shit.. what part of the forest are we in..?" You say worriedly. You looked around the forest

then realization hits you, your eyes widen "oh.. no." You say "why? What's wrong?" The golden eyed male said. "We.. went to the wrong side of the forest.. I accidentally led you guys to the deadly part of the forest." You said with a worried tone "you what?!" The golden eyed male said once again "I'm sorry! I wasn't looking at my directions and accidentally led you guys here.. I'm sorry. Whatever happens to everyone here I'm to blame." You say in an apologetic tone "shit." The male said, you took a glance at him to maybe recognize his face and to remember his name, you did, "Xiao right..?" You mumbled, you sighed "let's take the other way." You say "no! Now that we're let's find a safer place. I feel like that's a safer option rather than making too much noise coming back." Paimon requests, your ears slightly flop down thinking about a place then it pops back up once you thought of something "I know a place!" You say, "you do?!" Paimon asks "yeah!" You tell Paimon "don't lead us to the wrong way again." Xiao says you slightly smile to his overprotective personality to his friends, you weren't someone close to the kitsunes so you kind of envied them. "I won't, I promise." You said, your voice had slight comfort in it, Xiao's eyes slightly relaxed since he realized you were sincere with you words, he didn't fully trust you but you fully trusted them already, as they treated you kindly, as if you weren't surperior and didn't act all nervous around you, you were glad you were treated normally.

"is this place good?" You ask the group "it's good! Thank Y/n." Paimon thanks you "no problem, now all of you can rest now." You say "Woohoo!" Lumine and Paimon celebrated, you chuckled a bit. Everyone has settelled (?) in, you decided to go hunt for some food "Guys I'll be hunting, you guys stay here." You tell the group "wait by yourself?" Tighnari asks "yeah? I hunt almost everyday by myself anyways, there's no really difference." You say trying to reassure him, "alright.. stay safe." Tighnari tells you, you nod in response and go outside "alright.. now should I use my kitsune form or..? Eh yeah sure why not, it's smaller and faster, and I'll make less noise anyways." You whisper to yourself

"I'm back! Brought us some wood too to start a fire, anyone here that has can manipulate fire?" You say placing down the items, "Y/n!– Y/n?! Your face.. your hair.. it's filled with blood!" Paimon says worriedly "huh? Oh, it isn't mine don't worry." You tel Paimon with a smile "Oh thank heavens! I thought it was your blood, I was about to faint!" Paimon says you giggle "oh and I can manipulate pyro." Aether says you tilt your head a little "pyro?" You ask "ah– pyro is fire, pyro is the element fire in our world." Aether explains "I see! Thank you for explaining." You thank him, he nods as a reply and casts his elemental skill on the wood, "don't excpect this to be a luxrious meal, it's just normal meat." You inform the others Lumine and Paimon nods excitedly, you were in a corner to prevent the others to get burnt or injured by the fire, they were all talking "Y/n is a really sweet girl isn't she?" Tighnari says "yeah she really is! She's very thoughtful too, we just met her and I really want to be close to her! And maybe she can come with us to teyvat!" Venti requests, "hopefully. We can journey again teyvat but with Y/n." Aether says "I wonder though.. how strong is she..?" Xiao says, "that is true.. we shouldn't underestimate her as she is one of the strongest kitsunes here, plus she hasn't mastered her power yet." Cyno says "er.. don't say that you guys! Paimon's getting scared.." Paimon says hugging Lumine's arm, Xiao chuckled a bit "Sorry." He says "oh!" You say while quickly standing up "Is everything okay, Y/n?" Xiao asks "oh uh nothing! The wind accidentally blew the fire to my direction, the fire almost got caught in my outfit, sorry.. did I alarm anyone?" You say, Xiao shakes his head and you sigh in relief "oh! Y/n want me to help?" Venti asks you "yeah sure! I do need a hand." You accept his help, Venti smiles and walks to you, the two of you chat while the both of you cook

"guys food is done!" Venti said "thanks for helping me, Venti." You thank him "oh not a problem! I hope the others will enjoy the food though." Venti said with a cheerful smile, you smile at him and nod "woah.. it smells so good! It smells like the sticky honey roast from mondstat!" Paimon says happily "oh now that you mention it it really does! Y/n did everything herself, I just helped her cook the meat. Y/n you're an amazing cook! Despite being in the wild you have some toppings as well!" Venti says in amazement, "awh guys.. you're all really sweet, thank you. I'm sure you guys are hungry? Don't be shy you can eat already!" You tell them, for some reason Xiao didn't eat unlike the others, "Xiao? You okay?" You go near Xiao to sit beside him "yeah? Why?" He says "you aren't eating." You say while fiddling with your tail. "I'm a picky eater. I only consume food when I already ate them." Xiao admits "I see. Any specific dish you like? Maybe I can cook it if I know the ingredients." You ask him, Xiao hesitates a bit "Almond tofu. Lumine and Aether has the recipe if you want to try making it.." Xiao says, you stand up and ask the twins about it, they gave you a copy and you looked at it and studied it. "I see.. So it's a rather sweet dish, interesting.." you say to yourself, you go back the the corner but stood by the side of the pot, you checked it from time to time for some reason, then, after awhile you started cooking.

the whole group was talking, you were sitting beside Xiao eating his almond tofu you cooked him, you were looking up in the sky recalling some memories, "You okay?" You heard Xiao say, you giggled a bit because he was still chewing "fine, thanks for your concern." you say, Cyno looks at you and you smile at him "Guys I have a game idea!" Venti yells "don't yell too loud-- my ears!" you say "Oh I'm sorry!" Venti apologizes, you sigh and nod as a reply to saying it's okay, "what is it anyways?" you ask "glad you asked but hide n seek!" Venti say, your face grows curious and confused at the same time, "but there's a twist. Tighnari, Cyno, do you both have good sense of smelling?" Venti asks "why do you ask..?" Cyno say, "Because the twist is going to be we'll hide and the people that have a good sense of smelling are going to find us, blind folded!" Venti says, "Ooh interesting.. sounds fun!" You say, you then put your chin on top of your palm to listen closely, "alright, so Cyno? Tighnari?" Venti asks Tighnari sighs and nods Cyno nods as well, "Great! Let's start!" Venti says excitedly

"that was so fun!" you shout happily, "I know right?! You're so fun to be with Y/n!" Venti says to you, you smile at him, and he gives a warming smile. A lot of time passes by that you all have been together, you completely forgot about the portal going back to their world, they did too. They've been so comfortable in your forest and your presence, you didn't notice. "Y/n, what are you doing here" Cyno asks, you didn't notice where you are since you were just thinking while walking, "oh-- Cyno, sorry, I wasn't aware to where I was going. Why are you up this late?" You ask him, he switches his gaze to the side to hide his face, "I figured you'd leave at this hour, so I wanted to spend time with you." Cyno says, your ears slightly perked up in surprise because he'd only normally look at you, and wave at you, but you didn't want to miss this opportunity to bond with him so you excitedly nod, you pull his arm to go somewhere.
