Gonna posit something slightly controversial:
So we see the wolf attack as a matter of “it didn’t want them to leave”, and that tracks. But given the way Van’s reacting to Taissa in the hours before the attack—starting to really recognize they’re standing on fundamentally opposed ground from one another—I can’t help wondering if it’s also an early sacrifice to keep them together. That violence breeds a return to true connection between them, right when the connection was threatening to slip. Arguably, it punches them UP a notch, romantically; it’s after Van’s mauled that Taissa’s willing and eager to announce their relationship, “drama” be damned. Without it, they might not have made it. Without that blood, they might have split up before anyone even realized they were together.
It’s fascinating that, on the heels of their first fight, the Wilderness finds a way—through the spilling of blood, and a near-death that comes veeeery close to landing—to ensure Tai and Van are bound tighter than ever.
The Wilderness has an OTP, and it will pull out all the stops to make sure they last.

Femme Fatale Guide: How To Set Long-Term Goals
Consider this mind reframe when setting a long-term goal: Long-term goals are a string of short-term goals that work together to culminate in a more nuanced or lofty outcome.
In my opinion, I believe that long-term goals should be determined based on how they positively support a certain aspect of your lifestyle, rather than designed with a strict plan in mind (at least for 5-10 year goals). As we know from the past few years, our long-term plans can easily fall through due to factors out of our control.
So, with these variables in mind, I would say you need to split your long-term goals into 2 main categories:
Evergreen Goals: These goals are fairly straightforward and rely more on an input-output method to achieve them vs. many external variables or contextual success attached to them. Examples of evergreen goals would be saving for retirement or maintaining a healthy body/weight loss/getting a certain certificate training or degree (not in a specific program, but in a general field), and acquiring items like a designer bag. You're in control of whether you put a certain amount of money into an investment portfolio, how much energy you consume in a day, and how much time you spend filling out applications/studying material. While external factors play a role, the success of these goals heavily depends on your determination, consistency, and focus. You just have to play the long game vs. the short-term game to see the results you desire.
Dynamic Goals: These goals take a lot of external factors into account and can heavily rely on many different parties to ensure you succeed. These long-term goals can be to work in a certain type of position or company, graduate with a specific degree or from a specific university/program, live in your dream home, become a successful business owner/author, etc, find a specific type of partner, etc. While self-betterment paired with consistent, strategic, and focused effort play a significant (majority) factor in these goals, you still need the stars to align for these goals to actualize in the way you currently envision them in your mind.
So, when creating long-term goals (especially dynamic goals), set these 5-10-year goals with the intention to be unrelenting about the outcome and flexible about the path to achieving them. Envision the result you desire and why that would improve your life/happiness. Then, work your way backward to the smaller milestone goals you would need to achieve. Once you get to the first major "milestone" that needs to be completed, devise creative and strategic solutions to begin working on this shorter-term goal. Make your 5-year goal into a series of 5 1-year plans. Reverse engineer to embrace the endless possibilities and potential for your success.
Hope this helps xx

Larian has some kind of beef with the dark urge and I wish they'd just stop talking about them at all.
I can talk about them. People who write fanfic can talk about them. People who draw depraved art can talk about them.
You need to stop.
Please just keep adding Astarion lines, don't give anyone else any, and let the game be.
It's past the point of fixing, simply adding scenes won't fix the structural problems, and there's no use in being bothered by any of that now. Best selling game, and it's deserved and all, but.
This is your bed.
Lie in it.
And leave the dark urge be.

Scooby Doo Character Outfit Design Slideshow Thing
Daphne
Very preppy, very soft girl. Lots of purple and green. I especially enjoy the pic toward the bottom right with the headband. It just gives me Daphne vibes. And the bottom middle (purple two piece with the skirt) seems like the closest to what she wears in canon. With I could have gotten some more range in the purple colors, but apparently preppy soft girls only wear pastel, so.
Fred
Preppy again, but with a slightly sporty touch. I liked the idea of collared shirts under sweaters bc that’s what he wears in the show. Also checkered sweater vests. Just gives me the right vibes. Especially the orange and blue one on the top middle. Wish I could have gotten more orange in here, but y’all have no idea how hard it is to find aesthetic outfit pics for guys. Seriously.
Velma
Academia aesthetic. Not necessarily light or dark, just academia. Maybe even chaotic academia, but I’m not sure. Lots of warm tones (especially orange). I loved the suede on the bottom middle. Just seems like something she would wear to prom or something. I think the top middle is the most true to the original, but I actually like the bottom right better for her everyday outfit. Just very much sweaters and slacks and skirts and sneakers.
Shaggy
Skater boy, grunge aesthetic. I’ve been told that this is actually too fashionable for shaggy, which is fair. Lots of green, bots of oversized clothes and layers. I liked the brown pants in the top middle for his everyday pants, but I also liked the green pants in the bottom right. And the fit in toward the top left, again, reminded me of him going to a more formal event where the gang forces him to dress up somewhat. But just comfy, oversized, easy clothes.
Scooby
For Scoob I went for more of what they would do in a live-action situation. I really like the two on the right. I think the more matte one would work better just because it’s more true to the source material, but I do like the character that the shiny one has. The one on the left is another option, but I feel like it’d be a bit difficult to do in live-action.
Anyway, hope you all enjoyed!

people on here will be like "omg dark!james 😍😍" and then the stuff he does is not even half as unhinged as what regular canon james potter did in the 2.3 paragraphs he's mentioned in

thinking about how aangs ligtheartedness and sillyness in the original cartoon were the whole point. beacuse he is ouut of his time, he dosent carry the same traumas, he has hope. this hope leads to doubt- imagining things can be diffrente. there is no doubt without the hope things can change. and the whole point of the show is that aang makes people doubt that they have to be in war, that they cant figth back or become more then their traumas. doubt is the thing imperalist facism (aka the fire nation) fears the most, and aang being silly makes people doubt the way that they live. SO TO REMAKE THE SHOW WITH A "SERIOUS, DARKER TONE" WOUULD BE AN AWFUL IDEA THAT WOULD MAKE THE WHOLE STORY COLLAPSE. IM SO GLAD NOBODY DID THAT. THAT WOULD BE AWFUL.
obligatory likes mean nothing, reblog if you enjoyed this post

Everyday I think about how Misty isn't the antler queen and how she was the first girl to be disproven right off the bat to not be her. You would think it would be her at first right? She's unhinged, she's unable to see the fault in some of the things she does, she murders and murders, and essentially everything that happened in the wilderness is indirectly her fault because she destroyed the box. But she was the first girl to be shown unmasked because Misty doesn't attempt to hide, or maybe she just can't. She's unmasked because we see her nature right of the bat, there's no pretense of normalcy or repression of who she is.
The antler queen is hidden, behind the scenes. She isn't the one who dragged pit girl's body out, prepared it, and served it. It was served to her. If the wilderness is the representation of trauma, then the antler queen is the source of it and the instigator. The center.
If Misty is a hammer used to beat someone to death, then the antler queen is a quiet poison that you don't even know is in your system until it kills you. Anyways here is why I believe with my whole heart that Shauna is the antler queen.
