Thinking about Buggy, and the Cross Guild specifically.

Like. The fanfkcs are good. But I have yet to find some that touch on some generalized headcanons and the byproducts thereof.

Autistic Mihawk? YES!! But give me Mihawk who has more autistic traits than just the generalized blank stare and monotone voice. Give me Mihawk who, when actually invested in something, struggles with volume control. Give me Mihawk who can and WILL info dump when given a chance - about the history of swordsmanship, maybe even gardening, give him hyperfixations. Give him some textures he will just touch and touch and touch, and some which he'll quite literally shrivel up and die if he has to touch.

Crocodile has all his Bananwanis and maybe even breeds them? Yes! But give me Crocodile being a Reptile Dad. Give me Croc who loves on and trains the 'Wanis, who is adamant on their care and knowledgeable about them. Give me Crocodile who is trans and occasionally has moments of dysphoria even after Ivankov's miracle hormone treatment. He passes as Cis, sure, but sometimes the KNOWING is the worst. Give me Crocodile whose safe space is with his pets, who loves them and is loved by them in turn.

Buggy being smarter than he lets on is always peak. But people often boil it down to selective intelligence, and give him no other skill sets. Give me Buggy who is sensory seeking, autistic and whose special interests are in chemistry, explosives, circuses, and the like. Buggy who LOVES bright, clashing colors because it makes his eyes happy, who stims using his Devil Fruit, and who is actually a very good cook - he thinks of it as chemistry and art. He's had a LOT of practice as well.

Now let's mix them. Give me kinesthetic stimming Buggy and Mihawk. Give me them sharing their favorite stims and finding new ones. Give me them sharing in stimming, give me Buggy dragging Mihawk to the aerial equipment and teaching him to use it. Give me them just finding a niche and enjoying themselves. Give me Buggy and Mihawk finding a new common ground that neither expected but they are so so so happy for.

Give me Crocodile learning their likes and dislikes. Giving me him throwing out one waist coat without hesitation bc Buggy huggy him once, snuggled close and gagged when it touched his skin. Give me him replacing all the velvet in his room because this one kind is bad for Mihawk, but this other one is absolutely bewitching to the swordsman. Give me him just wordlessly putting up these multicolored fairy lights and not saying anything when Buggy asks him why, just pushes the clown down into the bed, clicks them on, and says "you need to calm down, you've been up since yesterday."

Give me Mihawk and Buggy in turn Recognizing when Croc had bad days and learning to help massage his stump. Give me Buggy experimenting with herbs and lotions until he makes one himself that will help with the pain and fits all the sensory needs of everyone involved.

Just. Yes. Cross Guild Poly. But give me the behind the scenes domestic stuff because THAT is where the dopamine is.

Since i can’t pour energy into writing a whole fic/drawing stuff yet, I’m gonna dump some headcanons I have on Mishuggy.

(Long post ahead)

Shanks only bathes in the sea so its smell became his trademark scent. Buggy loves the seawater scent on him. He can never bathe in the sea anymore, so it brings him comfort when he cuddles with Shanks bc it’s the closest he can get to being in contact with the sea without feeling weak. Every time they meet, Shanks makes sure to bathe in the sea first before meeting Buggy so cuddle time will last longer.

One of Mihawk’s stims is running his hand through Buggy’s hair.

Mihawk is a night person, Shanks is an insomniac, Buggy is a morning person. Mihawk often joins Shanks when he can’t sleep, some wine and talking. Sometimes they’d be quiet and admire a sleeping Buggy.

Buggy’s voice gets low and rough often when his social battery is drained or he’s not in his stage persona (which is a very rare occurrence). Mihawk finds this incredibly attractive.

Shanks absolutely adores Buggy’s voice cracks.

Shanks is the best kisser, Mihawk is the most awkward/timid, Buggy has the most kissable lips (Shanks loves it when his lipstick leaves stains) but because of his nose, he’s the most awkward to kiss (if you’re not a professional Buggy-kisser like Shanks!)

Mihawk may not prefer lips-to-lips kissing, but he does love kissing other parts of the body like the hands, the shoulder, etc.

Buggy’s lowkey attentive to Mihawk’s infodumps on different kinds of blades, its uses and history. He’s fond of blades as well but more on short blades like daggers and machetes. He loses his mind seeing how cool Mihawk’s cross pendant knife is, and couldn’t resist showing off to him the hidden knives and explosives in his body (Mihawk wonders how he has not killed himself yet by accident).

Mihawk kinda cringes on Buggy’s habit of licking knives. He asks how has he not cut his tongue yet, Buggy is like “Hawky are u fr” then he chops off his tongue and Mihawk is horrified but quickly felt stupid remembering Buggy had devil fruit powers.

Buggy loves cherries and other sweet fruits. Hates pineapple way before he ate the Chop Chop fruit, and his distaste for it increased after eating it.

Shanks likes fish and Mihawk likes vegetable dishes (borderline vegan at this point).

Buggy loves warm colors (reds, oranges, yellows, gold). It just so happens that Mihawk and Shanks are associated with red and yellow.

Even though Mihawk and Buggy are complete opposites of a spectrum, they surprisingly get along well in terms of hobby. They both like to read, for one. Mihawk will mention a book in one of his infodumps and Buggy will be like “Oh yeah I love that one chapter where…” They both like art as well; Mihawk drew and painted in his free time when he was living in the castle, preferring still objects, dead sceneries, and chiaroscuro lightings.

Other than performance art (acting and acrobatics), Buggy is into cartography and drawing landscapes with oil pastels, but he often does maps more. When he does draw landscapes, the subject are often places where he has strong fondness/feelings of (his circus tent, Loguetown, the sea, etc). He uses small paper mediums and tucks them away. He only got to try painting when Mihawk offered. They had fun and created abstract - Buggy splashes paint spotaneously and generously, Mihawk feels the waste of paint but eventually lets loose (Buggy’s encouragement) and tried stroking the paintbrush like he wields his sword (when the canvas was slashed, they considered it a finished artwork).

Buggy and Mihawk also likes shiny things. Buggy loves treasure-finding more as an activity sure, but opening a chest full of shiny gems and trinkets is also what makes it enjoyable. He’s fond of jeweled earrings and rings but would rather keep them in a chest than wear them daily. Mihawk’s fondness for shiny things began with blades, but it also extended to shining gold colors. He’s not fond of gold for wealth purposes, he just likes shiny things.

Mihawk hates swimming whereas Shanks and Buggy love it (Buggy loves it more, but can’t do it anymore after eating his devil fruit). Mihawk hates getting wet for a long period of time + swimming is a strenuous activity, but he only learns it bc it’s a necessity for survival esp he travels by sea (and also bc there was one time where he almost drowned and its one of his most embarrassing memories. He was glad he travelled alone bc he’ll die of embarrassment forever if anyone lived to see that)

Shanks is a generous gift-giver. He isn’t materialistic himself, but the moment either Buggy or Mihawk express a passing comment about a rare wine he wanted to try someday or a map he wants to get his hands on - you got it. Shanks WILL find a way.

Whenever they go out together, Mihawk cringes at their fashion tastes. Shanks is more of a “this shirt is 10yrs old but hey its still usable” kind of guy. Buggy wears the most eyestrain clown outfits ever that will make you wonder “how did i end up with this guy”. In Shanks and Buggy’s head, they think Mihawk is an edgelord with his dark outfits on every occasion. Despite all this though, they find each other handsome.

xD Alright, so I'm assuming Sabo and Marco are the request for Worked up and Kink as well, and then together for Another - or at least that's what I'mma go with

mdni, you know the drill, kinks will get kinky so you've been warned.

-:- Worked Up -:- What is your f/o like when turned on? Are they desperate, tense, barely restrained? How do they handle it?

Marco:

Barely restrained. This man's control is all about keeping himself under control, but once he's worked up he's already started to let go. He wants what he wants, how he wants, and if I've opened the doors for him there's no holding back.

He can cool off in an instant if I need it - but otherwise it's a need that simmers under the surface, flickering flames along his shoulders and fingers, shifting in his eyes. Others might have me feeling like I'm being hunted, but Marco doesn't give that kind of heads up.

It's almost a tangible thing, honestly.

Sabo:

Sabo gets a little desperate. He does trying to keep it under wraps, but if he's had to deal with it for any length of time, his patience is often thrown right out the window. Knowing he's like that, and teasing him further is usually a good way to get myself in trouble >.>

What can I say, hearing those leather gloves just creeeeeak with barely restrained need is a delicious sound.

-:- Kinks -:- are you or your f/o kinky? What kinds of kinks do you and your f/o like?

Marco:

Marco's kinky in the "open to anything" sense of the word. He might have a weakness for a few things like Breeding and roleplays - a solid appreciation for impact play and power play dynamics, but really he just likes knowing his partner(s) is/are enjoying things.

So with me he incorporates a lot of rope and dom/sub dynamics.

The best part is that there's not really a lot of hard No's with either of us, so most of the stuff we do is experimenting and trying new things. It's a helluva lot safer with his devil fruit, for him and me.

Sabo:

Sabo loves power dynamics. He leans more toward being the one in control, but he's also okay with relinquishing that to some extent. I've barely got a dominating bone in my body though, so it's a rare thing for him to be receiving.

Impact play, Edge Play, Sensory Play - there's some madness in him, but he's oh so careful when walking along lines. He's a cruel bastard sometimes, especially with over-stim and denial, but the pay-offs are worth it in my opinion.

-:- Another -:- have you ever considered including someone else in your activities? If so, who would it be?

Marco:

Marco's not against it at all. So long as the person I'm including or he is, is aware of all the appropriate boundaries - safe words, limits, etc.

He'll rarely take on a sub role in group dynamics, however, no matter who else is included. Izou, Rayleigh, Shakky, and maybe a couple others will get him to let go of the reins, but otherwise he'll maintain control.

Which can be a sight to see when you're including someone like Sabo, who likes control more than not, or Kid who doesn't have a submissive bone in his body (Marco'll joke that he'll shove one in his ass if it'll make him feel better.)

Sabo:

He's not against it, but he's not overly open with it either. With Sabo it has to be someone he's gotten to know and trust, and much like Marco the first few times he's not going to be keen on relinquishing control.

Marco, Ace and Law I feel are on his short list. When it's Ace or Law it's always a bit of a power struggle between him and them (I'm just here for the ride lol ) - but it's not really much of a competition when it's Marco. Though to rank it a little more clearly, Law doesn't want to give up control as much as Sabo, it can get heated (they communicate so heated in a good way), Ace is more likely to fold than to fold Sabo, but I don't think he really minds it. I think he just knows Sabo likes the challenge, and I crumble like a house of cards.

hiii it's my first time actually requesting something !! i hope i don't say anything stupid i'm really nervous 😭

as someone who's been diagnosed with this, may i ask for autistic reader with ace and cora? preferably male reader but gn is fine too !

idk if you know much abt it but i do wanna put in some of the stuff i tend to do !! since it is a spectrum, being autustic varies for those who are — but for me personally i have the urge to stim a lot, specifically i get urges to flap and shake my hands often or to just rock back and forth while sitting, or to say certain words like "pop" or "bubble". i really struggle with eye contact and overall most social situations, especially face-to-face but that doesn't mean i'm ignoring them ><

and also sensory issues with how certain things feel/sound/etc, like damp clothing or really loud sounds — sometimes i get really overwhelmed when there's too many things at once ( e.g. flashing lights, loud sounds, too many people, etc. all at once ) and kinda just meltdown uncontrollably. :( but i also love how certain things feel, like soft fur or weighted blankets !! and also certain special interests like aquatic creatures and just the overall marine stuff, or just drawing ! cats too

also random side note i remember seeing you join a one piece artist server i was in and i wanted to say hi so badly since you're my favorite comfort blog !! but i got so scared and nervous and didn't want to bother you so i didn't ☹️ also sorry for rambling a lot i didn't think i would write that many words haha ! that's all i wanted to say though i'll be very happy if you do my request, but it's fine if you don't, just take your time !!!

I broke this down into the symptoms you had mentioned and how they first react to now being used to it, so I hope this makes sense!!

Stimming:

When you first presented the stimming, the brunet might be a bit confused at first, but once you explain the situation he just gives you a smile and lets you carry on!

Now he is used to it and doesn’t mind it at all. If anyone says anything rude or gives you dirty looks, be prepared for them to be sat down as he explains the symptoms of Autism to the bystander. If they want to be ignorant, he’s going to teach them a lesson!

Echolalia:

This one might surprise you, but he is used to Luffy saying random things at times, so he doesn’t even realize it was an issue for you. When you mention it, he just waves it off, it’s not annoying, don’t you worry!

Sometimes he finds himself mimicking you now! You might utter the world “bubble” and the brunet just whispers out “pop” subconsciously, he doesn’t even realize he does it!

Eye contact:

He also struggles with this! Not from Autism, but due to his trauma. If there is one thing Ace doesn’t feel like he is, is worthy. He doesn’t understand why people always get upset with him, so he is very understanding when you struggle with it too. It’s okay, you’re safe here.

This is something I think would be amazing that you both can work on together! Whenever one another notices the other not looking at them, be direct about it and let them express why they might can’t! It’s a great bonding exercise to get the other to talk and also expressing yourself to others who also might ask!

Sensory issues:

Do you see this man?? He hardly wears shirts (though I think it’s more to due with his Devil Fruit-), so he totally understands and doesn’t mind supporting some natural looks. As long as you are comfortable and still somewhat decent, he doesn’t mind or won’t get embarrassed!

As for sounds, he might not realize it until it’s too late. He’s quite the loud man when it comes to fighting and the crew he is in isn’t the quietest either. So with some good communication, the crew and him work on letting you know a head of time!

Even now he still feels the same way. As long as your clothing choices are kid friendly, he doesn’t mind what you wear or choose not to wear. he also goes out of his way to make sure not to get certain fabrics or have a change of clothes if you happen to get wet.

Selective mutism:

He’s going to be confused at first if you happen to go mute without telling him. He might react negatively too and think he did something wrong, so just let him know through pen and paper you just can’t talk right now and he will be fine.

Starts to pick up on your low level cues and knows what to expect when you go mute. It’s taken a while, but he is now a pro at it and can speak up for you if needed!

Stimming:

I like to think that due to his background and education with different countries, Cora would have some knowledge about Autism. So when he sees you stimming for the first time, it just automatically clicks to him and he just goes with the flow as if nothing changed (and nothing has!).

The type to move something out of your reach when you stim just so you don’t accidentally break it or knock it over. He doesn’t want you to feel guilty later when you have better control over your body.

Echolalia:

Again, since he has some knowledge he understands what is happening when you say certain words randomly or mimic someone unintentionally. However, he has the book smarts, so he doesn’t have any practical knowledge on this symptom.

Has more knowledge now and knows how to help you break out of it if you find it difficult on your own. He doesn’t mind it either way, but wants to be helpful to you and your feelings.

Eye contact:

He struggled with this as well, but living in the military had forced this habit on him. That doesn’t mean he is going to force it on you though! He would never do something that causes you discomfort and if you can’t look at him or others, than so be it!

Let’s people know ahead of time (especially Sengoku) that you might not look at them directly. Just so they don’t go poking around demanding or asking personal questions you don’t want to answer!

Sensory issues:

Might get quite embarrassed if you change your clothes right away when they get wet. Always offers his jackets (even the fluffy coat) for you, even if you are dressed. He just likes seeing you in them and that he can comfort you!

As far as loud sounds go, this man has you covered! He will use his Devil Fruit to mute any loud sounds for around you, giving you a chance to relax and catch your breath again!

Selective mutism:

He completely understands, he spent years being mute, so when you need a break, just let him know and he will mute you with his Devil Fruit, allowing you to not have to hear others or speak up.

If it comes to people like Doffy, he will let them know you are completely mute. He doesn’t want you to speak to these kinds of people anyway. Call him possessive, but there aren’t many people he is comfortable with you talking to.

nobody knows or likes scratchmen apoo like i do. as a character he genuinely had the potential to be so so so cool and then in wano they were like. we need a minor villain. and kinda screwed over a really cool character with a really cool devil fruit and design. i just wish he was nice (or even morally gray idc) and the entire fanbase didnt (rightfully) hate him. he deserves SUBSTANCE !! every time i saw that guy on screen pre wano i loved him so so much especially the little bits of him in stampede. i think scratchmen would be really into hip hop and super autistic. also a DJ. not to mention the fact that he can turn into instruments and play himself... hes stimming. dude literally vocal stims!! let his crew and ship have Anything. also i dont like how many of them are just Background Pirates. i would be happy if just one of his crew members was named. HES A CAPTAIN?? give him a first mate!!!

My MMLM Headcanons for Mr. Bump

Hi! I have been thinking of doing my headcanons for the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters. I already know that Mr. Tickle was the very first Mr. Men Little Miss character (actually the very first Mr. Man (Mr. Men character)) (ever) created (by Roger Hargreaves (back in 1971 (actually (back) on August 10th, 1971))), but I’m going to start off with my headcanons for Mr. Bump (who is my absolute most favorite Mr. Man (Mr. Men character) in the whole entire Mr. Men Little Miss franchise). So, well, here I go!

1. I already know that Mr. Bump and Little Miss Whoops are siblings, but I (strongly) believe that Mr. Bump is the younger sibling and Little Miss Whoops is the older sibling. And if they were/are twins, (I (strongly) believe that) Little Miss Whoops would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the older twin and Mr. Bump would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the younger twin by 50 minutes.

2. Although that Roger Hargreaves’ original story of Mr. Bump was published in 1971 ((or) probably (maybe most likely) published on August 10th, 1971) (as one of the first six Mr. Men books (to be/that were) published in 1971), I (strongly) believe that Mr. Bump’s birthday is (actually) November 20th. And if he and Little Miss Whoops were/are twins, Miss Whoops’ birthday would also be (is also) November 20th. (But still, if they were/are twins, (I (strongly) believe that) Little Miss Whoops would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the older twin and Mr. Bump would (definitely) be (is ((most) definitely)) the younger twin by 50 minutes.)

3. Mr. Bump is Autistic.

4. Mr. Bump stims by doing raptor arms, flapping, tapping his foot, making his arms like chicken wings (like in a chicken wing position (the way people would (when they want to make their arms like (bird) wings))), making chicken noises (such as clucking like chickens and crowing like roosters), singing, humming, yodeling, scratching with his feet (like a chicken would), gently petting animals or his stuffies/plushies, gently hugging his stuffies/plushies or his dolls, and brushing/combing and/or styling the hair of his dolls.

5. He’s the chubbiest Mr. Man (Mr. Men character) out of the round-shaped (and/or round-to-oval-shaped) Mr. Men Little Miss characters (although I already do know that Mr. Greedy and Little Miss Greedy (Little Miss Plump) are the chubbiest out of all the Mr. Men Little Miss characters).

6. If he had a full human body or if he were fully human, no matter whatever gender he is/was (even if he is/was cis-male or a male-identifying gender (and (also) regardless of if he were/was (either) transmasculine (transmasc) or/and non-binary/genderqueer/agender)), I would say that if he has/had a feminine bust (even if he had (a) chest feminization top surgery), (I think/bet that) it would be the same bust size as (APH) Ukraine from Hetalia. But if he had/has a (natural/naturally) masculine bust instead of a feminine bust)) (but only if he had a full human body or if he were fully human), he would most definitely have man boobs. (Although I would (also) (definitely) make an exception for if he had (a) chest masculinization top surgery).

7. He usually uses he/him/his pronouns, but he’s also okay with she/her and they/them/their pronouns.

8. Mr. Bump is quite a picky eater (especially (mostly) due to having texture issues and being sensitive in his sense of taste due to being Autistic). He doesn’t like any vegetable(s) (except for spinach), he hates eating meat (for example, pork, poultry, beef, mutton, etc.) (but he enjoys eating vegan bacon, veggie dogs (vegan hot dogs), and vegan Buffalo wings), the only fruits he likes are bananas and Gala apples, he hates eating seafood, he hates drinking dairy milk (for example, cow’s milk, goat’s milk, etc.) (but he does enjoy drinking vanilla almond milk and chocolate almond milk), he hates eating eggs (for example, boiled eggs, deviled eggs, raw eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, hard-boiled eggs, etc.) (but he does enjoy eating some foods in which eggs are one of the ingredients (for example, pancakes (hotcakes), cake, waffles, French toast (, maybe etc.)))), and he also prefers plain pasta (no matter the shape of pasta (although his most favorite kinds of pasta are spaghetti, thin spaghetti, angel hair spaghetti, rigatoni, rotini, ziti, and farfalle (bowtie) pasta), his only favorite kind of rice is white rice, his only favorite kind of cheese are shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced non-smoked provolone cheese, and grated parmesan cheese (although he also loves Mini Babybel Original (original flavor(ed)/Original flavor(ed)/Original Flavor(ed)) snack cheese(s)), his only favorite ice cream flavors are vanilla and cookies and creme (as long as they’re creamy (or extra creamy)), his only favorite kinds of bagels are plain bagels, sesame bagels, poppy seed bagels, and sesame and poppy seed bagels (he also can’t stand onions, especially onion bagels and everything bagels) (but he sometimes likes cinnamon raisin bagels), he prefers to use vegan butter (usually almond butter (but/and never olive oil butter)) to spread on bread, bagels, and croissants (regardless if they’re toasted or not) and biscuits (I’m talking about the flaky bread biscuits that you bake in the oven (especially for breakfast)), and the only beverages/drinks that he likes (besides vanilla almond milk and chocolate almond milk) are water, apple juice, orange juice, and hot chocolate. Also, his only favorite flavors of cake are vanilla, chocolate, half vanilla and half chocolate, and vanilla and chocolate marble. Also, he’s a fan of salty snacks (like pretzels and potato chips (Lay’s Original or Wavy (in the Original flavor)), Lay’s Stax (in the Original flavor), and Pringles (in both the Original flavor and the Pizza flavor))) and sweet snacks (like chocolate (milk chocolate, white chocolate, and dark chocolate (that doesn’t taste (too) bitter))), (milk chocolate and white chocolate) Reese’s peanut butter cups, cookies and creme chocolate (like the Hershey’s Cookies and Creme (chocolate/candy/chocolate candy) bar), and crispy chocolate (like the Nestle Crunch (crispy) chocolate (candy/chocolate candy) bar(s)), and sandwich cookies (well, only the chocolate, vanilla, and half chocolate-half vanilla sandwich cookies with the vanilla creme (filling) (especially of the Oreo brand))), and he also enjoys pumpkin seeds (with the shells), (tiny) sunflower seeds (without the shells), Gardetto’s snack mix, Cheetos (only the crunchy Cheetos and the Cheetos puffs (both) in the original flavor), (sea salt) salted roasted almonds, tortilla chips, and Pirate Booty puffed (aged white cheddar) cheese snacks. And he also loves crispy Chow Mein noodles (like the La Choy brand of crispy Chow Mein noodles) and crispy Wonton noodle chips and strips. Oh, and he also loves Chinese fortune cookies. He even regularly gets them in gift baskets whenever he gets sick or whenever he gets (badly) injured (doing something).

9. He’s not quite very robust, but he’s strong (although he’s not as strong as Mr. Strong (who just so happens to be the strongest of the Mr. Men Little Miss characters)). Also, he’s a very silly (inspired by (a (some) headcanon(s) (of Mr. Bump) by) @little-miss-cringe (on Tumblr)), very resilient (inspired by (mostly) the Mr. Men Little Miss Discover You! book “Try Again”), and very caring and kind person (in addition to being very clumsy (as in ((pretty much) even) clumsier than Little Miss Whoops or Little Miss Calamity or Mr. Clumsy)). And (just like Little Miss Brave) he also knows to stand up for anyone (and any animal(s)) who is/are (was/were) being mistreated and/or bullied or who need(s) it whenever they’re being mistreated and/or bullied. And ((also) just like Little Miss Brave), he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. And ((also) like Little Miss Brave), he knows to stand his ground whenever possible, and he also knows when to stand his ground.

10. I think (bet) (that) Mr. Bump is a polyamorous pansexual.

11. Mr. Bump is also anxious and a bit socially awkward. In fact, sometimes whenever he thinks he said something embarrassing, even if no one actually heard him, he just runs away and jumps off (or falls off) the nearest ledge into a river. (This is a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by @doobledabbadoo (on Tumblr) that I enjoy.)

12. Mr. Bump has tried working at many jobs (either most or all of them being blue-collar), but he kept getting fired due to his clumsiness causing chaos in the workplace. (inspired by (a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by) @little-miss-cringe (on Tumblr))

13. During the numerous times he tried working at many jobs, Mr. Bump was often harmed by animals, causing him to typically avoid doing anything involving animals during that time (despite that he actually loves animals) but he was pretty much a magnet to rats, especially during that time.

14. Mr. Bump would try to woo any girls, but he’d always fail every time (like Dez from a Disney Channel show titled “Austin & Ally”), which often times resulted in him being harmed by animals. And whenever it happened during the numerous times he tried working at many jobs, it would (always) result in him getting fired (and (often) even result in him being harmed by animals). (So yeah, (I guess you could say that) he was a hopeless romantic.)

15. Mr. Bump is hardworking and responsible most of the time (even though he’s (also) very clumsy and accident-prone), but he tends to doubt himself whenever things don’t go as planned. But his closest friends often comfort him and remind him to be kinder to himself, especially during these situations. (This is a headcanon (of Mr. Bump) by @doobledabbadoo (on Tumblr) that I enjoy.)

16. Like in the original book, Mr. Bump currently (and happily) works as an apple picker. Instead of using a ladder to pick the apples, he just wanders around the orchard and bumps into the trees, which knocks apples off the trees, and he catches the apples that fall from the trees.

17. Ever since Mr. Bump was hired to be an apple picker, he has never been harmed by any animals anymore. (But yes, he’s still super clumsy!) (Also, he’s still a magnet to rats; but he’s now also a magnet to dogs, cats, and chickens.)

18. He’s currently in a romantic relationship with someone, but I’m not telling who it is. (The real reason why I’m not telling in this post whoever Mr. Bump is currently in a romantic relationship with is because everyone, including me, has their own different ideas for MMLM couples. So yeah, you have your ideas and I have my ideas, and that’s totally okay! Love is Love! Everyone can love whoever they want! In fact, we can love whoever we want!)

19. Despite being super clumsy and accident-prone, Mr. Bump is quite talented at crocheting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, and cross-stitch. (He’s also very careful when using scissors.)

20. Mr. Bump also enjoys paper dolls.

21. Mr. Bump also loves dolls and collecting dolls.

22. Mr. Bump also loves learning and studying foreign languages, especially by using Duolingo.

23. Mr. Bump also enjoys cross-dressing.

24. Occasionally, Mr. Bump has actually laid eggs.

25. Whenever given the chance, Mr. Bump has actually incubated eggs by sitting on them like a mother hen (and he’s super careful with the eggs and sitting on them (despite that he’s super clumsy)).

26. Despite being super clumsy and accident-prone, Mr. Bump is also known to be very gentle. He’s also very gentle with animals, especially baby animals, including baby chicks.

27. Mr. Bump has also hatched chicks whenever given the chance to sit on any eggs (and he’s also super careful to be very gentle with the chicks (despite that he’s very clumsy)).

28. Mr. Bump also loves to read, and he also loves books and collecting books.

Dropping random One Piece ideas bc this is it now. This is how I cope.

Buggy focused bc I love this little blue haired buffoon

• gender is a performance and he LOVES THE SPOTLIGHT BABYYYY

• Buggy is actually a year or so younger than Shanks, and they both use this as an insult point for arguments. Buggy calls him old man, Shanks calls him a teeny tiny little clown baby, Buggy punches Shanks, Shanks cries dramatically, the works.

• in my perception between them, their relationship could go either way - I love the interpretation of them seeing one another as brothers, I love the interpretation of them being lovers, I think either one fits them and it's precious and depending on the Shuggy flavor of the day. It's never both at the same time though. One or the other.

• Buggy has always been terrifyingly flexible. It was waved off when he was very little, but it was only around the time Crocus joined the crew that he noticed Buggy was much more flexible than most kids his age. Turns out baby blue has hypermobility syndrome. The Roger pirates helped him learn wrapping techniques to help stabilize his wrists and knees and hips, his biggest problem areas, but after the Devil Fruit Fiasco, he can and will just drop a limb. Floating is so much easier on bad pain days.

• Buggy still wraps and braces his body when he can, but he also hides most of them beneath his clothes. Few have seen him freely in braces. Cabaji and Mohji are the most familiar with that. Ritchie takes his role thereof as a living, furry weighted heating pad.

• kinesthetic and visual stimming Buggy my beloved.

• sometimes he's just. Touch Alvida. Not in a weird way, just... her Devil Fruit makes her skin and hair feel absolutely DIVINE and he can spend hours just. Playing with her fingers or brushing her hair. He's embarrassed by it.

• he has a very meticulous skin and hair care routine. It's one of very few routines he keeps to. Not even being in prison stopped it.

• he's actually really damn good with money and running a business. The situation with the Cross Guild was a Bad Time, Bad Place, Bad Luck situation, which is honestly just his brand at this point.

• He was a warlord for all of a few months, but in that time, he did, in fact, have to attend a few meetings, and he did, in fact, make a friend! A friend nobody ever expected.

• Boa Hancock and Buggy are the most underrated Mean Girls Squad ever and I'll die on that hill, I think they'd be so funny as friends. Ask me more on my Boa Buggy Besties ideas please I am begging I love them so much

• Cross Guild happens, and it goes fairly similar to Canon, but Buggy quite literally within that three week time frame got the entirety of his loan back AND the interest and was like "hey so like. Did you still want this or-?"

• the mercenaries at Karai Bari are all very progressive. Buggy is a lax ruler, by most standards, but he puts his foot down firmly regarding bigotry, racism, sexism, etc.

• Buggy is not actually human, but he doesn't know that. He was orphaned at a VERY early age, was adopted by Roger pretty young, and he doesn't really remember much pre-piracy. He does know his genetics are a little weird, #ThanksCrocus, but not much beyond that. This may be Important later on if anyone wants some silly little concepts

• demisexual nblm, but once he catches feelings, he becomes a harlot harlequin

• once took off a limb and forgot where he left it. Has genuinely devoted microchipping his limbs.

• some people have comfort activities like hiking or painting. He makes bombs. It's very soothing and he likes the BOOM

• has a multitude of explosives btw; everything from large range, highly damaging, lethal weapons, to flashy, mildly inconveniences. He once made a batch of mini muggy balls full of itching powder just to see if he could and now it's his favorite thing to prank people with. ((Yes, he designed those while a Warlord. Yes, he tested it on the Navy. No, he was never definitively caught.))

• when he's busy, he ties his hair in a bun and puts pens, pins, etc in his hair, ends up looking like a porcupine or sea urchin.

• he has a really bad habit of hyperfixating for hours upon hours on end. Galdino, Alvida, Mohji and Cabaji have a rotation system to check on him if he hasn't been seen for 5 or more hours. They'll drag him away from his work (some more gently than others), make him eat, drink, etc. ((Alvida huffs and puffs about it, but she's also among the first ones to wipe a grease smear from his face, look him over head to toe and determine whether she's pulling the Girls Night card. She will die before admitting that she adores this bastard.))

• Buggy is allergic to pineapples.
