You'll be fine, naught left to blame upon the innocent slain, I'm sure, as your self alone serves you. ;)

An online art gallery asks me for the artists that have influenced me. Of course, I quote M.C. Escher and Roger Penrose. "Gödel, Escher, Bach" by Douglas Hofstadter was maybe THE most influential book I read as a teenager. I became a physicist, believing that Gödel was my hero (from those three). Now I wonder if it rather was Escher. Roger Penrose's book The Road to Reality and his hand-crafted masterful sketches catapulted me into doing art - picking up a pencil for drawing after many years.
But then, there is also an Austrian physicist and historian of science - a polymath: The late Peter M Schuter. The article I linked above is sort of a tribute to him.
"After a career in industry, he founded a laser technology startup. Recovering from severe illness, he sold his company and became an author, science writer, and historian. He founded echophysics – the European Center for the History of Physics – in Pöllau castle, Styria, Austria. ... Schuster’s website tells us that he had been granted a one-year scholarship in literature after he had earned his PhD in physics. He also published poetry later in life. So I believe it is OK, if I try to create poetry from snippets of his talk.
... " (I created Found Poetry in German from a German article)

Ninth Amendment to the United States Constitution
The Ninth Amendment to the United States Constitution addresses rights, retained by the people, that are not specifically enumerated in the Constitution. It is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment was introduced during the drafting of the Bill of Rights when some of the American founders became concerned that future generations might argue that, because a certain right was not listed in the Bill of Rights, it did not exist.

Bethe finally played a decisive part in the ultimate production of the bomb he himself so feared and hated because of his outstanding erudition and systematic work.

The top 3 MOST underrated scholarships tips: 1) Less is more: Do not try to push in everything in your application. Only upload relevant documents. For example, your kindergarten art competition certificate is NOT relevant if you are applying for an engineering program. 2) Be transparent: Don't try to hide your failures. Admission officers want a student with failures, rejections, heartbreaks, and emotions, not a robot who succeeded in everything but has no life story. 3) Make it easy: When you email them, always have your application. When you send documents, always label them. Make their job as easy as possible to assess your application. Best wishes for your application! If you come to Osaka, make sure to visit this famous Yodobashi Camera at Umeda. It's one of the iconic places of Oksaka. Hang on to your hope
As long as there is one upright man, as long as there is one compassionate woman, the contagion may spread and the scene is not desolate. Hope is the thing that is left to us, in a bad time. I shall get up Sunday morning and wind the clock, as a contribution to order and steadfastness. Sailors have an expression about the weather: they say, the weather is a great bluffer. I guess the same is true of our human society — things can look dark, then a break shows in the clouds, and all is changed, sometimes rather suddenly. It is quite obvious that the human race has made a queer mess of life on this planet. But as a people we probably harbor seeds of goodness that have lain for a long time waiting to sprout when the conditions are right. Man’s curiosity, his relentlessness, his inventiveness, his ingenuity has led him into deep trouble. We can only hope that these same traits will enable him to claw his way out. Hang on to your hat. Hang on to your hope. And wind the clock, for tomorrow is another day.

“He was probably quite decadent in the past, perhaps abusing his power a little bit. I see him as being very intelligent — very erudite — and highly manipulative when he wants to be. Very vulnerable and traumatized, but also incredibly witty and funny. He’s got etiquette, he’s articulate, and he’s very sophisticated. He’s a lover of the arts without, I believe, having the talent to produce art himself. He’s also rather good-looking, and he’s not afraid to use that as a way to shield himself or to get what he wants. He’s immoral, not amoral. I would say he’s quite aware of morality. He just chooses not to [be moral], darling, you know?”
“His sense of freedom is the most powerful thing about him. The drive to be free — the need to be free at all costs, including things that are morally gray and sometimes completely wrong. But the overriding sense is never wanting to be trapped again in a situation like the one he’s come from for the last 200 years. Underneath all of that, if you can find a way to him, he’s also probably one of the best friends you’ll ever have.”
-Neil Newbon on how he would describe Astarion (source)
