This is my late summer wildfire season fey eladrin (more like yeahladrin). His name is 7th of August. Those locust legs will send him flying for about 20 times his own body length. Thus far he's sent himself to fey jesus four times because he is very cool and very stupid. Thrice by his own fireball and once by fall damage. Overshot the cliff's edge by five meters because he can't see shit, lenses thicker than bottle bottoms.

Hello!! I'm very happy to finally show this piece, which I did for the Character Study Zine! I had the opportunity to draw the polycule on their future wedding- That is, if they do end up having their happy ending! We still need to save Urion (we're very close though!) for this to happen. But one can daydream about happy endings and cute lil wedding outfits, right? (ft the polycule- Yxala, my tiefling/drow paladin/warlock, Urion, drow/earth genasi cleric, and Relent, air genasi/eladrin druid/cleric!)

Sivvus and Ears

I'm a big advocate for elves having very mobile ears that respond to their emotions. Perking up, drooping, one ear flicking/twitching when annoyed etc. So I headcanon that all elves can do this, and to some degree, half elves too.

People learning they can read an elf by de-coding ear movements just like you can read a tiefling by de-coding tail movements.

Sivvus is a Feywild-born Eladrin and was raised in a High Court of Fey, but because he's super restrained he trained himself to keep his ears at neutral position as much as possible. This contributes to people assuming he's really pompous, snooty, stuck up- because his ear position is always "neutral" and he gives very little away.

In Faerûn, where he finds himself absolutely nerfed by the tadpole and completely out of his element, away from everything he'd ever known, he tries desperately to keep his neutral veneer for as long as possible.

It then becomes very, very obvious whenever he slips. Think of it this way: a person who constantly emotes loudly? You don't really pay attention to their more subtle shifts. A person who tries to not emote at all? Any, ANY shift is like a giant air horn of attention.

So when his ears droop in disappointment or perk up in interest, against his will or without him noticing that he's emoting because he's so overwhelmed that he fails to keep track of his physical responses, his companions tend to find it incredibly noticeable (and maybe very endearing).

I know this is like. Crazy bad time to upload art bc it's the middle of the night BUT. I made some tiny icons for Hallows and her parents :] tried something different for the shading on Caetora's hair and I'm not sure how I feel just yet buuuuut it was the best way I could think to do a "gradient" without messing with the transparency levels in a way that wouldn't mess with making a specific kind of keychain I've been wanting to try (bc who would I be if I DIDN'T make myself trinkets of my OC blorbos lol). I'm tempted to do this with more of Hallows' extended family but that will have to wait for later bc it is VERY late and I should go to bed lmao :]
