Talking to someone random on the internet can lead to many things. Good or Bad. You never know what is gonna happen. Maybe you are talking to some old guy maybe you are talking to genuine person. Or you are just talking to a boy. No matter what you never know what's on the other side. But with all odd I tried a website to text to a random person. So I took those odds and I texted a name online that is Foolish. He is 24. He from the state of Ohio. He played sports. Nothing else. He never told about work life. I never talked about mine. He never gave me his real name. I used a fake name aswell so I messaged him everyday in the app then gave each other our numbers. Then on the rest was just a guessing game of how we would meet. The message only do so much till he insists on calling me that night. That was more than I needed. The first time we called on the phone. He told me that he will call that night so I stayed by my phone. Trying to ease the anxiety I had with a movie. So I waited a hour passed then another and another. I just watched the movie not wanting to think of it till my phone rang. It was him. Taking in a breathe answering with an hello. When I heard his voice it wasn't how I imagined it. Not in a bad way I swear. His voice was noice. Honestly I could fall asleep to his words. He spoke clear. With a ramble sometimes. Going off to different subjects then back to the main topic. His laugh is my favorite. When we ended that call looking at phone just giving a smile. The call help me realize how deep in love with him.

After months, he was real. The person I talked to through a phone is real. This will be the first I seen him face to face. Never telling me his name. Never told me how he looked like. He said he was gonna be wearing blue and white lose flannel with black pants. Really hoping for more that that. But also he said he was gonna hold a sign with my name on it. Walking out of the plane I was nervous the more I walk the more it got real for me. Entering the building I found my bags making my way to the front. Looking around for someone matching his description. Within a minute I found him and I was Starstruck. From his hair to his eye to his smile with him holding the sign. All he did was look around and wait for me. This beautiful man was waiting for me. All I did was stare then walked up to him. He watched me walk closer as he started to walk to me with a smile. Standing two steps from each other. 'Hey y/n,' his voice just made me smile as I nod. 'Hey fo-,' he stopped me mid sentence, 'Noah, that my name my real name.' Giving a smile, 'nice to finally see you Noah.'

After that first time of meeting we would see each other once every two months. We never lost touch. He told me what he does and I would watch him ether from my phone or me getting him the food he order. Passing it to him and I sit in the back. I watch him talk to his chat. Watch him react to videos or him just playing games. All I did would stare at him. Chat would notice it happening and would type it out. I leave before he starts to ask me questions about what they are talking about. More and more I fell for him. It's like those he fell first and she fell harder scenario but it's one sided. Now I'm packing to head back home.

Noah

I wanted her to be mine. I waited to long for Yn not be mine right. When I first heard her talk I was scared she wasn't gonna answer or be upset if I didn't call her so I ended my stream early. I stared at my phone. Waiting for the perfect time to call her. When the time was right I did it. She had such a nice voice. Then I got to meet her few months later. She was prettier than I imagined. Now she's in my house. Helping me most times. Bringing me my food when I stream. Talk with my stream. She doesn't know but I notice her stare when I'm busy. Then notice other people in chat comments on it as I smile. I like her. I want to tell her before she leaves tonight. I wanted to tell her on the first time I saw her at the airport. But I never did. So tonight I will.

He ended his stream early as I stay in my room to hear a knock as I open the door. He stood there as a dear to headlights as i tilt my head. ‘Yes Noah?’ He blinked as he gave a soft smile. ‘I was wondering if you want to sleep in my room just for tonight because you will leave tomorrow.’ Now I felt the deer in headlights without know I just nod my head. With that he left. I stayed by the door not know what happened till he called my name. I made my way to his room. His room was neat not messy messy or clean clean just neat. Walking towards his bed as he went to the bathroom. Laying on his bed I just watch the ceiling basically hearing what he was doing in the bathroom. I didn’t know what was gonna happen so I laid on my side. Hearing the light switch go off I felt him going under the blanket. ‘This doesn’t have to be weird right?’ He ask, turning off to look at a glimpse of his face. ‘No why would it be weird?’ Feeling him get closer with his hand touching the side of my body. ‘So this is fine?’ I hummed getting closer to feel his body. His heartbeat were quicken as I give a laugh. There was silence between us. This silence was nice. Till he spoke, ‘the sunrise will be beautiful won’t it y/n?’ (I like you and I don’t want you to leave me) . His body started to relax as soon as he said those words. Giving a smile at those words. ‘I wouldn’t miss it anymore Noah.’ (I like you too and I won’t leave)

What is Yaoiverse?

Yaoiverse is a canon-divergent QSMP roleplay group! It currently consists of seventeen roleplayers, and two spectators! Others can join in on Yaoiverse, too, by sending asks to the characters!

Why make an updates blog?

It can be difficult to keep track of everything that happens in the Yaoiverse. Sometimes we get busy, and it can be difficult to catch up. With so many people, most with multiple blogs running Yaoiverse lore at the same time, there is a lot. So, an updates blog!

What will be on this blog?

This blog will contain daily recaps of everything that happened that day, along with completed threads and plot-relevant posts. These will all be tagged accordingly, so do not fret! I will not be reblogging every single post, primarily just those that are plot-relevant. And some that I personally find entertaining.

Who runs this blog?

Year End Writer’s Round-Up: 2020

I was tagged by a lot of wonderful people - @noire-pandora, @luzial, @thevikingwoman and @galadrieljones - thank you all so much!

Word count for 2020 [published and unpublished]: ~180,000 words

I don’t have a comparison for previous years, because I’ve never been diligent about word tracking, but this has been a good year for me as far as writing goes. this is the first year out of my major depression that I feel like I’ve been quite productive. My goal was to write, and complete, three stories this year - which I hit, and is something I hugely proud of.

New things I tried this year:

Quite a few new things! I stepped out of writing in past tense and I’ve started writing in present, which is quite the change. I also branched out of my usual Solasmances and tried my hand at writing a Cullen romance! The Inquisition Job was also my first attempt at writing an AU - and though it proved to be challenging, it was a challenge I enjoyed. This was also the year I broke out of Dragon Age fanfiction and posted my first Mass Effect fic, Deja Vu\\Jamais Vu.

I also started using a word tracker for the first time, courtesy of @ma-sulevin, and it’s been surprisingly effective at getting me to write. I’m a sucker for tables and graphs and charts, so tracking my monthly writing goal through those is immensely satisfying (and will be something I continue doing in 2021). I started the year with the idea of writing 100 words a day, but I’ve soon come to realize that it’s better for me to have both a daily and monthly goal. As much as I’d like to keep writing everyday, sometimes my brain just wants a break - and so monthly goals help me stay motivated.

Fic I spent the most time on:

For Goodness Bakes, my Solavellan Bakery AU. At ~65K words, it took several months to write and edit, and it has to be the story I’m most proud of writing this year.

Fic I Spent the Least Time On:

I think I wrote Succumbing in the span of a week in October - the spooky season got to me and I just adored the idea of Solas as a vampire :D If we’re counting one-shots, then it’d probably be Eidolon, which was the result of the new DA4 trailer.

Favorite Thing I Wrote:

It has to be a tie between For Goodness Bakes and Succumbing.

For Goodness Bakes, as I’ve mentioned before, is the fluffiest piece I’ve written (and also has the honor of being the one fic that’s made me have all the sweet cravings, holy shit). It honestly started with the idea of Solas in a suit and took on a life of it’s own. Thalia is one of my favorite OCs to date; she has a special place in my heart :)

I have a huge, mega soft spot for Succumbing because not only am I a vampire fucker on main, but the idea of Solas being said vampire is, well... *fans self*. It was fun delving into the mind of a character whose willpower is constantly weakening, and who ends up on the grey area of the moral spectrum. It’s also the first time I’ve tried my hand at writing something horror, which surprised me, given how I don’t like horror myself.

Favorite Thing I Read:

I’ve come to the realization I read a lot of fanfiction and not nearly as much published fiction. That being said, here are a few:

@ma-sulevin‘s Steady and Strong, and Appetite. The first is a Stardew Valley/Mass Effect crossover which is so dang sweet, I can’t even. The latter, well... there’s a reason ma-sul is the mistress of smut :)

@thevikingwoman‘s Temporal Arrangements. Time travel AUs are hard to write, and many of the ones I’ve read tend to be heavier on the angst, but this one is sweet and hopeful and honestly so refreshing to read. Viking is amazing at depicting scenes and emotions with few words, and she writes Solas so well. Iwyn is one of my favorite Lavellans ever!

ladygekko on AO3′s Dear Par Vollen is a very fun, heartwarming read. The Ben-Hassrath agent in charge of handling Iron Bull’s reports finds her world opening up. It’s very funny and touching and very unique.

foolishgames on AO3′s To The Least Of His Children features a kid Inquisitor who’s chaperoned by Varric and Cassandra. This was fantastically written, and so moving. Well worth the read, if only for the interaction between Cassandra and Varric.

Writing Goals For Next Year:

My goal next year is, much like this year, write and complete three stories. I’m hoping in 2021 to continue to branch out into other fandoms. I hope to complete some of my current WIPs, specifically A Whole New World, and Deja Vu\\Jamais Vu, and to finish some of my older works.

One of my biggest challenges is keeping a story to a manageable limit. Most ideas I have tend to be massive, 100K+ stories, which is challenging (not in a good way) and exhausting. I want to be able to refine my plots so that I can keep them to a manageable word limit, so I can try writing different stories.

Overall, I’d like to think I’ve grown as a writer this year, and hopefully I can work on my weak areas in 2021 and make them stronger :)

Foolish pov

Just another day, it was a happy day. No distractions. No streaming. No filming. Just me and y/n. Us together.

It started in the late morning. We didn't complain. We both needed it. Maybe me more than y/n. But still, we needed it. Getting dressed for the day together. Y/n said they planned the day. Which if it was me I would probably not have done a good job even if y/n tell me otherwise. She kiss my cheek as I chuckled.

Leaving to head inside the car. Sitting on the passenger side as she drives. There was one thing that she wasn't bothered by that made me like her more was she didn't mind if I was a passenger princess. She enjoyed driving but if she drove she has to pick the music. Which I agreed to those rules. Placing a hand on her thigh while she drove his face broke into a smile. For I, looking to the side out the window remembering how we first met. Usually, I won't remember most things but at that moment it was the most important thing for me.

It was the day of the streamer awards. Everyone was being seated while others started to talk seeing their friends for this awards ceremony. Tina was talking to her. She sits at the table next to us. Her dress was navy blue but under the lighting was black. She started to talk more as she look over at me flashing a smile towards me as I froze. Karl was trying to get my attention snapping out of a trance looking over at him. I didn't hear much because my mind was still on her. Till Tina called me over and introduced us. She smiles once more. The smile made me fall for her. I didn't even know them well and I fell for her hard. Her name was Y/n. After that night, we went on to the message and me asking her out.

Feeling the car stop, she looked over to me, 'Ready to go inside.' Look out the window once more, 'I thought we could go to the aquarium if that's fine with you.' I nod. 'Anything you have planned is always gonna be fine with me.' Giving a smile we both walk inside. Looking at all the fish, sharks, and many other sea animals. Holding her hand as she sometimes rushes to the next part taking every detail in one section. While I started to stare at her. Noticing her smile, the perfume that she puts on, how she does her hair, and how she talks about anything. She looked above us to see a shark smile. 'Hey look it's you,' I look at her then above us to see it swimming around. We reached a part where we can touch the sting ray, I look over at her once more as I notice she was scared. 'It's alright you know you don't have to be scared,' shaking her head immediately. 'I'm not l. I've touched one before for your information Noah.' She stares at me as I called her bluff. Going up to pay for herself to touch one. She stands near the area looking around sticking her hand in as I stand beside her. ‘You sure you can-‘ she glared at me, ‘I’m just feeling the water shut up I know I can do it.’ Watching her hand reach in deeper and then pull it out. There were no strings ray around so we moved to a different spot. Noticing one near a child. Looking at the water once more seeing them touch the little girl's hand while I looked over at y/n. She held her hands together. ‘You don’t have to if you don’t want to.’ Y/n looked up at me as she shakes her head. ‘No, I’m doing it. I paid for it so might as well do it.’ The little girl no more than 6 looked over at us. ‘Are you scared?’ She had a red baseball hat looking over at y/n. She nods. ‘Yeah, but I can do it.’ The little girl gave me a stare then back at y/n. ‘We can touch the next one together.’ Y/n nods putting her hand in once more with the little girl having her hand inside already. The stingray is approaching. The little girl felt it first then move her hand to not touch her hand. She looks at y/n. Y/n felt the stingray back as it was slimy as she pulled it out. The little girl clapped for y/n as I did the same. ‘You did it,’ the little girl smile as she stepped away from the touch tank. ‘Thank you. Where are your parents?’ Y/n asked as the little girl saw them in the corner. ‘They are over there with my brother.’

The atmosphere change as soon as a guy came in with a duffel bag. A guy was feeling as soon as y/n notice him. Both of his hands were in his bag. ‘Hey, little one why don’t you go back with your parents? We will walk you to them right Noah?.’ All I did and agreed. We started to hear till the gunshot appeared behind us. We were all running. All you could hear was glass shattering and people screaming. The little girl was holding onto y/n we ran to the door to leave. Hearing something fall behind us was one of the guards from the front. With us outside we start to hear sirens and lights. Y/n, let’s go of the little girl as she ran to her parents. They thanked you. Mostly y/n. ‘Noah I don’t think I can stand,’ I feel her lean into me. I grab her before she can hit the floor. Looking down at her shirt seeing a gunshot in her chest. I tried to put pressure to stop it from bleeding. Trying to call for someone there was a crowd starting to form. ‘Call 911 please anyone.’ I stare back at y/n she gives a weak smile. Feeling her hand on top of mine. ‘ The little girl is safe right?’ Y/n asked as I nod. ‘Don’t worry about her. Worry about yourself alright y/n’ a person from the crowd says they were 12 minutes away. Looking down at y/n. ‘Do you hear that y/n they are 12 minutes away you just have to stay awake alright?’ Her breath started to slow down. I feel her hand on my cheek. ‘You are gonna be okay alright,’ she was talking as if she was going to die. ‘Don’t talk like that y/n Please don’t talk like that.’ She smiles at me. ‘You are one of the prettiest men I know you know that Noah.’ She moved my hair out of my face. I nod. ‘Noah..how far are they?’ The time felt longer the 12 minutes felt like an hour. But only two minutes have passed. ‘10 minutes okay just breathe and stay with me.’ She tried to nod but her eyes started to close, ‘No No No y/n you have to stay with me, honey. You have to alright they will be here,’ she shakes her head. ‘I’m tired Noah I need to close my eyes,’ she close for a second till I shake her, ‘ I love you you know that Noah I never loved anyone like I have loved you. I need you to let me sleep and I need you to be happy for what we had,’ she stare at me. Shaking my head as she nods, ‘No I’m not gonna let you sleep you have to stay with me please y/n. Who is gonna be with me? When I sleep? When I stream? Who’s gonna make fun of me for when I messed up? Who is gonna laugh with me other stupid jokes. Y/n you can’t leave me not now please.’ I start to hold her with one arm. Feeling her thumb crests my cheeks. ‘ Someone else will and they will do something’s that I couldn’t do. I love you Noah more than anything but they won’t make it and I need to know you will be okay.’ All I did was nod. ‘I need to hear you say it.’ She looked up at me wiping some tears. ‘I will try to be okay’ she breaks into a smile pulling me in for one more late kiss. This kiss was a goodbye. Goodbye for us. Pulling back from the kiss she stare at me once more with a smile. The spark in her eyes as she smile slowly went away. Feeling her hand slide off my cheek to her chest. Hearing the paramedics park near us the rush. They tried to move me away but it wasn’t worth it. They tried to catch a breath or something to revive her. It was too late. They were a minute late. Y/n died in my arms.

It wasn't supposed to end like this. But it did.
