Did someone notice how BUFF/ BIG speedsters are?!... no? Just me? K.

Oh, the Dorito model? Yeah speedsters typically come in two builds: Lean Mean Fighting Machine and Dorito. Sometimes they even alternate.

Wally is full blown Dorito. So is Jay.

Barry is typically LMFM. Bart is LMFM until he's an adult (then he's Dorito).

The reason for that is that speedsters naturally burn calories and build muscles like crazy but even though they're super active they usually don't have enough food to really bulk up. So an average speedster is zero percent body fat, skinny as a twig but all muscle. That's the Lean Mean Fighting Machine build.

But a select few speedsters work out and actively try to build bigger muscles. Wally and Jay would be the two biggest examples of that. So they usually look like Doritos. Super lean anywhere they didn't specifically work out and really big arms/shoulders. Really just triangle shaped dudes.

#the actual canon reason for this is Wally works out his arms so that he can pick up more people in the field #he never wants to have to leave a civilian behind because he can't carry them. so he canonically never skips arm day. #Jay is an army vet and by god does he have a work out schedule. and he sticks to it. #Bart starts working out as an adult so thats why he has the Dorito build in the future #Ace also works out. presumably started when he joined the Teen Titans #Barry has never seen a gym in his life #Jesse doesn't work out cause she doesn't need to. shes got super strength babey~

:/ Crappy start to the weekend. Our sick ratty Quail took a sudden sharp downhill turn after 2 weeks of antibiotics. We're expecting she'll either be gone in the morning, or I'll be taking her in for emergency euthanasia.

Quail is only 2 years (would be next month), but she was a craigslist rescue, and the lady had impulse purchased her from the pet store. So her poor health due to respiratory issues isn't surprising, but still sucks. We've had her since she was around 5 weeks old, and she's always been a sweet baby. I wish we could do more for her.
