I love how Strange World, an animated sci-fi feature from Disney, is being released around the 20th anniversary of (the criminally underrated) Treasure Planet, another animated sci-fi Disney movie.

I genuinely loved this film.

The economy is shit, and going to the cinema is my one last luxury in life, so the fact that this was good made me so, so happy.

Kenneth Branagh always makes me feel slightly uneasy because of how well he played Mr. Neville/Devil in Rabbit Proof Fence, but I think it’s safe to say he has successfully re-written himself in my mind as Poirot ✨

I am still relatively new to watching films for Directors, and it’s wild looking through his work, realising how much I’ve actually seen, and how much I’ve missed.

His 2015 Cinderella helped piece my heart back together at 21, along with Sonam Kapoor’s (Shashanka Ghosh’s) Khoobsurat, but that’s a whole other thing.

Anyway, if you can, go watch - it’s exactly what you want it to be.

Or, wait until it’s on streaming and watch with friends because it’s goood. It’s exactly what you want it to be.

Just scrolling through the Barbie tag because that movie was so good. I want to talk to everyone about it, but I have to wait until more people see it.

But oh my god the crowds in the theater! The coordinated group outfits! All of the ages! The pure joy and happiness!

You know how great the drunk girls in the club bathrooms are the biggest hype people on the planet? How they are so sweet and so excited to meet you and tell you how pretty you look? Imagine all of that times a thousand! Strangers were hyping each other up, offering to take pictures of each other, the many, MANY, “oh my god you guys look FANTASTIC!”

My favorite theater moment of all time, I think.

D&D Movie review by ME: Go watch it! It's amazing!

Warning, spoilers!

1. FAT DRAGON. CHUBBY MAN. AN ABSOLUTE UNIT. MY SPIRIT ANIMAL

2. Am disappointed in lack of other races besides just the half teifling girl. If they make more movies, I hope they add more people to their party (maybe a Rouge, that would be funny) I'd also like to see some more Dragonborns and more other races plz.

3. PORTAL HEIST. D&D shenanigans at its height.

4. Chris Pine as the Bard was amazing.

5. Simon the wizard, I love him so much

The cinematography was masterful, plot was more than good, loved the banter and back and forth, the fantasy elements were fantastic, characters were to die for, CHARLIE HUNNAM WAS HHHGGGNNNNN AND THE SOUNDTRACK WAS BOMB so like people what tf is wrong with yall??? What's with all this hate on this movie??? Like I assure you movies like Transformers 4 and 5 are just solely carried by the franchise name. The last Pirates of the Caribbean?? Disappointing. Like I get those movies did well in the box office cause they have big names and everything but frankly whoevers putting up shit reviews for this movie is like, bruh???? Tf. I'm so pissed cause apparently it was supposed to have like 5 sequels and since it was apparently a 'flop' in the box office Warner Brothers couldn't drop it fast enough.
