highlights of the toh nycc panel:

• just seeing the cast tgt was rly cool skfksld

• zeno came in wearing a golden guard mask

• alex pulled a hooty puppet out of his bag and wore it the entire time

• they showed some kind of sneak peek + a bunch of sketches that i couldn’t see bc they aren’t shown on livestream, BUT i could hear them talking and some stuff i remember hearing is “we love a halloween episode”, seeing more of gravesfield, everyone’s full outfits, etc

• they released the first six minutes of the episode (1, 2) and im not sure if it’s in the clips bc they won’t load for me rn, but there was what sounded like a halloween-y remix of the theme song

• dana would love to write a series of eda and raine at hexside

• we were robbed of full hooty backstory, but there is a subtle reference to it somewhere in s3

• a fan thanked them for an accurate animated portrayal of violin playing lmao

Summary: Neither of them suspected they'd have any fun at a club until they met each other and took the time to have some fun. Giving the opportunity for more fun in the future.

I couldn’t handle the stupid halloween remixes that his bar was blasting. I don't know how many times Monster mash and the Ghostbusters theme song played. While drinking the strongest vodka I could buy I silently prayed to find those girls so I could drag their sorry asses home. I continued my waiting for what seemed like hours but in reality was merely a few minutes. I had zoned out waiting to just vanish when I felt something on my ass. I snapped my head back thinking some drunk got handsy only to see a cute boy who was covering his ears and whimpering.

“I-I’m sorry!” He shouted, the boy was smaller than me but his fluffy features were alluring. I looked around the club before taking the boy and hurrying outside. When I finally felt the piercing autumn wind on my bare arm I took a deep breath.

“Who are you watching?” I asked.

“O-Oh. . .um. . .A few friends.” The boy's voice wavered as he spoke, but I could tell by the slight wag in his fluffy tail he was happy to be outside, “What about you?”

“A horde of Drunkards deemed me the Designated driver.” I said leaning against the club building and looked to the sky, the boy swiftly followed me.

“I-I like your lola bunny costume.” I whipped my head to face him.

“Finally! Someone who knows who I am! Um. . .what’s your costume?” I asked

“O-Oh um. . . I’m supposed to be Cerberus. . .” I gasped, taking his face into my hands.

“Cerberus?! The Three headed dog from Greek mythology that practically confirms the king of the underworld Hades is a dog lover?! That is single handedly the best costume I’ve ever seen!!” The boy’s ears perked up and he giggled.

“My other heads are passed out in a booth somewhere.” I chuckled, but noticed the pretty blue collar that seemed way too pricey for it to ‘just a costume piece’. But I wasn’t one to judge another’s kink even more so that I wore this lola bunny costume to get fucked easier. But I could tease, couldn’t I?

I hooked my fingers under the collar pulling the boy close, “Do your other heads have a collar?” The fast paced wagging paired with the lowering ears was absolutely adorable. I pulled the boy impossibly closer so my lips ghosted over his.

“I may not be persephone or hades, but will you be a good dog for me?” The man closed his eyes tightly and turned his head in a different direction.

“I-I-I. . .I am very flattered by your interest h-however I am a virgin!” He informed me.

“Should I stop?” The boy’s face was engulfed with red as well as his neck. The boy whimpered and looked back at me and slowly shook his head.

“P-Please don’t.” I smirked, I cupped the boy’s face and planted a kiss on his forehead before latching our lips together. You could tell he was a virgin by the way he kissed but the fact he learned quickly was washing the fact he was a virgin. The boy cupped the back of my neck pulling me even closer as the other hand was pushing my body closer to his.

When our lips finally parted I was breathless, “Such a fast learner.” The boy giggled nuzzled into my chest.

“Mind if we take this to the alley?” The boy shook his head and we hurried to the alley where I saw him about to pull his pants down. I grabbed his wrists and stopped him, “Sorry pup but I am not letting your first time fucking a girl be in an alley.”

I switched our spots, having me against the wall and pulling the boy closer by his hips and making sure one of his legs was between mine. I pulled him into a kiss and pressed my thigh into his hard cock having his hips respond in an instant. As he humped my thigh I was also getting friction.

We continued to make out for what felt like hours but god being with this boy was making me wet my shorts due to my lack of panties. I was too busy moaning into the boy’s mouth to register his hips bucking in over stimulation. My phone was vibrating in my bra as I finally came undone. Y'know, I've had this rip in the drafts for a pretty long while - I've wanted to write about it for so long, but its almost difficult to explain why I like it so. I sometimes wonder how many other people are as attached to the original Intro Title / Minigame Theme - Barbie Horse Adventures: Blue Ribbon Race as I am - it was a genuinely shocking little rip that managed to utilize the creepiness of the original song, whilst also tying it all subtly to the ongoing side story of Mr. Rental's rampage on SiIvaGunner. Yet it was the kind of rip that didn't make its presence all too known after the fact - save for a big reappearance on SiIvaGunner Fusion Records last year with *** EVERYTHING IS FINE ***, the rip's appearances have been pretty darn scarce. That is, at least, on SiIva - what I learned in researching for coverage on old town ribbon race, is that the meme took on a life on its own elsewhere in the internet.

That's right, it's fan channel time again - the very same one that V-v-v-v-v-a-V-v-v-v-v-v-r covered not that long ago, even. Its always a bit difficult to discern...anything, about Vvvvvavvvvvvr from the outside looking in, because of just how vast and bizarre its output is - its a channel that accepts submissions of just about ANY kind and has made it its brand to basically be a dumping ground for any sort of vip (Vavr's name for high quality rips) possible. Yet through it all, in 2017, a certain familiar Barbie game for Game Boy Advance made a reappearance - with a vip simply named Horse: Blue Ribbon. From there, the meme was reborn on the channel as just "Horse", mainly using a remix of the original theme by ripper Moder112 as its main source for future vips - continuing to see use pretty regularly in a number of bizarre, spooky rips.

All of that was, of course, entirely lost on me - yet in a way, that made discovering old town ribbon race on SiIva all the more impactful for me. I had no clue that others remembered this bizarre one-off horror rip as much as I did, nor that there had secretly been this subset of rippers already fiddling around with how to turn this eerie theme into something so hummable. Old Town Road is a song I already find deviously catchy, one I've covered before with Mob Corral - and so to me, old town ribbon race wound up feeling like the perfect culmination to things all those years later. The rip that had filled my 2016 self with such intrigue was now finally being played around with in fun, creative ways - by, as I'd now later learn, none other than the very same ripper who'd been doing so for years beforehand without me knowing.

There is of course a comedy to old town ribbon race inherently, in making a country/pop banger out of a theme otherwise most known for how much it unsettles people. But there's that other part as well - it IS genuinely a banger, using so many creative and fun GBA-quality samples that all feel in line with the original creepy song, even including the sampling of Among Us sound effects used for its percussion. A lot of the samples are from Moder112's prior mentioned remix, yet the authenticity of the rip was so good that I hardly even considered that as a possibility - it doesn't sound like its using anything "fan made" so much as its just naturally working outward of what Old Town Road would sound like in this style.

I'm really happy that nothing gets forgotten on SiIva - that was one of my big talking points in Violet Snow Memories, if you'll recall. This really isn't one of those cases, because Horse found a life all on its own - yet its almost just as fun to see how memes like it live on in such strange, silly ways. Meme evolution! How fun. old town ribbon race. What a good rip.

This can be read without reading Sphallolalia. Additionally, it is not necessary for the plot and does not have a particular point in the story’s timeline. Just a fun drabble of the characters within the AU.

This time of year used to be your favorite, but working tirelessly through the years, you have had to prioritize your time better. The special effects makeup collection you accrued has been boxed up in your closet for who knows how long. You have invested so much time, effort, and money into it. Opening it up brings back the memories and love you have for the spooky season. You can practically feel liquid latex and tissue stuck to your fingers accompanied by the strong scent of the latex and isopropyl alcohol for your paints.

You have only revisited this box now because Mina wants to enter a costume contest at a local bar. She remembers being surprised by your work every Halloween while she was a teenager. Since you don’t dress up anymore, she begged you to at least do her makeup. You know she is proud of you and wants your talent to be recognized by more than just her and your former friends. But it kind of feels like you have lost that spark of enjoyment for special effects makeup. Or maybe you have just convinced yourself there is no reason to pursue that hobby.

After hours of working on Mina’s zombie makeup, your nose feels like it has been stained with the smell of ammonia from the liquid latex. But something breaks through it. Something ambery, musky, and earthy. You know exactly where the scent is coming from: the unfairly handsome man encroaching on your personal space because of the crowd inside the bar. As if he senses your gaze on him, San looks to you and subtly grins when your eyes dart away.

Of course, he came dressed as a sexy vampire. You expect nothing less. As for you, you show up in all black. All your effort went into Mina’s costume; you barely cared enough to throw on a Halloween-themed graphic tee.

Your eyes jump around your group of friends. Kyungmi is dressed as a seductive police officer. Yunho is himself plus pink cat ears because he was told he has to dress up to get into the bar, which was a lie. Mingi, with his newly dyed red hair, dressed up as Chucky with temporary tattoos of scars and stitches on his face. Unfortunately, due to Halloween landing on a weekday, not all of your friends could make it.

While Mina goes to sign up for the contest and drags Mingi along with her because she doesn’t want to go alone, you, Kyungmi, Yunho, and San find two small tables to hang out at for the night. Although this is just a bar, the music is lively and full of spooky remixes of songs. Lighting around the place is changed for festivities. A fog machine puffs out a little bit of fog across the bar counter.

When Yunho excuses himself to the restroom, Kyungmi zeroes in on you.

“You did really good on Mina. If she doesn’t win, it’s rigged.”

San’s head snaps in your direction, his attention no longer on the free chocolate candy given with your drinks.

“You did her makeup?” He asks in surprise.

You hum in affirmation.

“Since when could you do all that?”

With your phone out, you scroll for what feels like five minutes to find all the photos of your old Halloween costumes. You show him your demon makeup with prosthetic horns coming out of your forehead, your zombie nurse complete with a full-cover mouth prosthetic, and your killer clown with a monster-teeth mouthpiece you made yourself from moldable thermoplastic. He is in awe with every picture you show him.

“Had I known you were that good, I would have asked you to do mine too,” he exclaims, smiling.

“I mean, I brought a little container of fake blood.”

His eyes light up. “Really?”

“You want some?”

He enthusiastically nods with almost childlike innocence, “Maybe, like, some on my cheek and some dripping from my mouth.”

You quickly produce the container from your purse, unscrew the top, and use the little brush attached to the lid to dab fake blood on his cheek gently. Your hand hesitates moving to his lips, and he doesn’t miss that. A smirk hints at the corners of his mouth as you even more delicately blot blood on his face.

“That good?” You ask, retracting your hand.

He pulls up the camera app on his phone and switches to selfie mode. As he inspects your work, you admire his side profile. His cheekbones and jaw must have been sculpted by gods. It takes everything in you to not reach out and trace his features with your fingertips.

He peers up at you through his moussed strands of hair. Those red-colored contacts are doing something to you. Maybe it’s just the idea of him being an actual alluring vampire that has you under his spell.

“All we need is some mistletoe,” he comments, making you realize how close you have leaned into him.

“Wrong holiday,” Kyungmi interrupts as she bops to the loud music by herself.

“Spooky mistletoe.”

The red lipstick he’s wearing is almost irresistible, and when he smirks with his fangs peeking out, you want him to sink them into your neck. Your mind descends into the imagination of him being a real vampire again. He would get you comfortable with sweet talk and soft kisses before finding the perfect spot to bite your neck. You would become immortal, and he would be all you have in this world until the end of time.

However, something ruins your immersion.

“You have chocolate on your lip,” you point out as if he is an annoying child.

He immediately challenges you, “Lick it off.”

“Don’t mind if I do,” Kyungmi leans between you with her lips puckered obnoxiously at him.

He bursts with laughter and focuses back on Yunho who has just come back to your table from the bathroom.

Kyungmi turns to you with a grin, “I’m a professional cock-blocker. You’re welcome.”

“Thanks,” you say with a chuckle.

“I know when my girls don’t want it.”

Oh, if only you could tell her…

Brony Song Tournament Quarterfinals

Lullaby for a Princess was the number two song in Shunks' original video, and it seems Tumblr agrees. It has beaten every song it's gone against it in a landslide, an Eminem parody, Solidarity, A Tropical Octav3, and even a polka that contained it.

Nightmare Night was in the top ten of Shunk's video, and has been performing solidly in this tournament. Fitting with its Halloween Nightmare Night theming, it has beaten: Two songs about Rainbow Factory, a song about the other shapeshifting winged black unicorn villain, and a remix of filly Fluttershy (okay, maybe that last one doesn't fit the theme). While it was never one of the top 3 landslides of any round, Flutterwonder was its only close competition.

Locoroco Midnight Carnival first impressions

I love the bouncing mechanic. It has given me the biggest platforming rush since I played Ori and the Will of the Wisps. I love platformers all about rhythmic motion and fluidity where you're just not supposed to stop moving.

This feels different than everything in the series but I am having a lot of fun. While I wpuldnt consider it a proper sequel it's a fun spinoff to try something new.

Even if the controls are a bit unwieldy at times and raw gameplay feels less like a Locoroco game, if you go in with those expectations, you are going to enjoy yourself. But be warned: this gets frustrating fast.

I like the Halloween theming and the night time aesthetic, it's a very fun spin and a breath of fresh air on the original game world. But the world does feel more like an obstacle course than a living place we are traversing. Which is fine for the games premise.

It doesn't outdo the goofy charm of Locoroco 2 cutscenes and an overarching plot but you can get Bon's and Majoliné's hats for your character and boy I can't ever say no to that.

The remixes of themes are just wonderful, perfectly sell the theme of the titular Midnight Carnival and are a joy to listen to while having more of an edge than the originals. I feel like the creators saw how fantastic the Moja Song turned out and just remixed everything in that style. In this universe, turns out, jazz is evil. And I love every second of it.

Raphael truly could not have been blessed with better timing when Ransom came into his suite for the last week of his castle-bound punishment. Halloween and the cop's birthday hit back to back early on in this temporary claim and Raph planned on forcing Ransom to participate in the parties the chief of police never wanted to be a part of before in Krovs. He'd been torn on Ransom's costume in terms of the theme, leaning briefly towards the invisible and always naked superhero Transluscent and the much more fitting for Ransom's personality Black Noir. The latter won out purely for the reasons stated and he figured that either way the snappy little dragon would be hating every moment he spent at Raph's side, regardless if he were covered from head to toe or completely exposed.

And Raph lived up to his promise of keeping Ransom close within his line of sight this evening at Euphoria. He and his slaves had full access to the VIP lounge along with a few other invited guests. Tonight the DJ played a variety of original and remixed hot Halloween-themed songs meant for dancing and the floor down underneath the VIP balcony never had an empty moment. Of course Ransom seemed adamant about never stepping foot down there.

"Have you ever had any fun in your life before or were you just born this way?" the ghoul asked, rolling right up into Ransom's space with hardly an inch left between them. He smirked, sure that would bother his temporary slave. For now, anyway. One more fuck up on the dragon's behalf and Raph could make this position very permanent. He pressed a fresh drink into the younger's hand. "You need to loosen up, it is your birthday after all."

I tried thinking outside the box because I don't think there's that many Halloween type of songs in general, so maybe most will be sent by others. If not, I'll send more later.

(I remember listening to this as a teen, but later found out what it's really about and it makes it even creepier, unfortunately. Still love the song)

I loved this show, but I wasn't allowed to watch if my little brother was there, because he got scared of it.

It's a shame this series ended without much of a conclusion, I always wanted to know what was up with Dash X.

I never finished this series, but the intro slaps.

I can't get in any Halloween spirit without this song and I think it might be the case for many. And I wouldn't be surprised if other send it in as well.

sometime in late August/early September, my friend @ass-blasting-bitchaloid and i threw around the idea of collaborating on a mashup together. i proposed it would be Halloween-themed, and they were quick to show me just how talented they are at making mashups!

i’m so grateful that this was a collaboration i was able to see the end to. ABB is an amazing mashup artist, and i thank them endlessly for their willingness to go forward with this project with me. i‘ve been looking for a mashup partner for almost 20 years now, and i know i sound like i might be playing it up but i really can’t overstate my joy. i’m just so damn grateful.
