thinking the real reason we start seeing less of mike in s3 and then less in s4 is because it's trying to show how he's slowly drawing into himself and that he's closed off/emotionally repressed, we as an audience quite literally have no clue as to what he's thinking

I feel like Foggy doesn't get enough love. I would like to request a vault track from Speak Now for him, please!
you know what, you're absolutely right. foggy nelson doesn't get enough love and i'm tired of y'all acting like he's not a babe so let's get into it
as a reminder, from the vault means it's spicy! (minors dni)
headcannon below the cut
innocent (foggy's version) (from the vault)*
Tumblr media
he is anything BUT
now don't get me wrong, foggy definitely strikes me as the hopeless romantic type
I can see him enjoying some sweet, slow, passionate love making- wanting to make sure his partner feels loved and desired, that they feel every ounce of pleasure he can possibly offer (he's definitely a giver), and he always puts his partner's needs before his own
I see him being more of the submissive type in a typical setting
but do not let that sweet smile fool you
bc underneath that physical embodiment of sunshine in human form is a FREAK
alexa play freak nasty by megan thee stallion
now, while foggy is usually all sweet smiles and friendly behavior, he can get aggressive and be dominant if need be
exhibit a: beating the shit out of those guys with a bat to protect karen in s1
exhibit b: calling reyes' bluff in the precinct in s2 (basically all of s2 foggy, mans was done with everyone's shit)
exhibit c: running for district attorney in s3, publicly calling out tower and fisk despite the negative consequences, standing in bullseye's way just to protect karen even though he had no weapon or way out (he's been hanging around matty too long) and just all around being a bad bitch the whole time (he had big dick energy all season)
honorable mention: that haircut in s3, you can't tell me that man doesn't fuck
exhibit d: (pun intended) dicking marci down after the bulletin incident right there on the couch leaving her at a loss for words (i'm pretty sure she just says "wow")
it seems like when he gets pushed too hard, or when he's completely done with everyone's shit, he basically snaps and stops playing nice
I personally find this hot and I think his partner would too and would absolutely volunteer to let foggy take out his frustration on them
maybe he's having a bad day, his current case is a shitshow, matt is being a human disaster like usual, karen is out doing something that's sure to spike his blood pressure, and the only relief he can find is fucking you over his desk hard (we're talking the desk gets moved to the other side of the room, hard)
but it's not all stress related fucking
foggy is extremely playful and flirty, and I think that translates into the bedroom, or wherever the two of you find yourselves (again, I see him as normally submissive, so if you tell him to do something, he's gonna do it)
maybe you get really excited watching him win a case in the courtroom, and you decide he deserves a little reward for working so hard lately, so you shove him into an empty supply closet and blow him right there in the court house. but foggy, being the man he is, insists on returning the favor, leaving matt to rush out of that court house in horror
and don't even get me started on drunk foggy
he's definitely gotten a little handsy and fucked you in the bathroom at josie's, or out in the alley against the wall, bc neither one of you could wait until you got home
in conclusion your honor, this man fucks, I rest my case

A quick TGaMM idea/what if
This just popped into my head and I can’t help but feel like it’s a valid potential direction for s2 to go:
What if Scratch gives up being Chairman... and gives the role to Geoff?
It’s no secret that outside of the occasional perks it gives him such as respect, line-cutting privileges and allowing him to cast more powerful curses, Scratch still doesn’t care too much about being Chairman. He’s often pushing his duties off to the Ghost Council and still needs to be forced to do the stuff that the Council can’t (or doesn’t want to, in the case of stuff like cleaning up Haughty Haunts).
Now to be fair, Scratch has done some good as Chairman - namely refusing to bring back the Flow, making it so ghosts aren’t forced to cause misery if they don’t want to, and instating a Taco Tuesday-through-Thursday. Buuut in doing the former, he’s also made it so dangerous ghosts like Lord Doom and the Frightmares are able to roam free. Regarding the Frightmares, while he was able to capture the ones that attacked the Halloween fest, there’s apparently still some roaming around in the Ghost Realm (see ‘Dance Dad Revolution’).
Between the Chens, the Frightmares (both the ones in the Chens’ posession and the ones that are still roaming free), and Jinx’ quest for revenge, I could see Scratch’s laissez-faire attitude regarding Ghost Realm dangers, only stepping in when he absolutely HAS to/when it affects him and the McGees, eventually coming back to bite him in the butt by the end of the season.
I could see an instance where things go REALLY wrong, resulting in innocent ghosts getting hurt in a way that Scratch could have stopped if he wasn’t so lazy, leading to Scratch feeling guilty. Given how much of a better person he’s become since meeting Molly and the McGees, he and Molly would of course do what they could to save the day and stop Jinx + the Frightmares.
Buuuut, for as good as he is deep down, Scratch is still lazy and fairly self-centered. Regardless of whether or not he enjoys parts of the job, a situation like the one above would be a wake-up call to Scratch that he is NOT the right ghost for the role - but the role still needs to exist, because for as much as the Old Chairman only cared about feeding off misery, a new Chairman could be a powerful protector.
So, when he announces that he’s quitting and giving the job to someone else, Scratch chooses none other than Geoff! On the surface, it might just seem like Scratch passing the job along to the guy who’s most likely to say yes, but when you think about it:
1) Geoff is an incredibly friendly and well-liked guy, making him a popular choice. 2) Geoff seems to care about other ghosts and would want to do what he could to keep them happy. 3) It’s been established that Geoff is a naturally gifted at scaring, so if he had to, he could intimidate the more troublesome ghosts while also being able to protect other weaker ghosts. 4) If the Ghost Council were to ever try to manipulate their new Chairman, Jeff would be there to shut that shit down FAST as a sort of ‘Chairman’s consort/advisor’ in addition to just being Geoff’s loving partner
Really, there’s no one better in the ghost realm to fill the Chairman’s role, as Geoff could be that perfect balance of caring, responsible and (when he needs to be) intimidating/powerful. I also feel like it’d be a nice little bow on the Scratch and Geoff relationship - with Scratch going from seeing Geoff as a nuisance and a screw-up, to seeing him as his best ghost friend, a great guy AND a great potential leader.
Geoff becoming Chairman also wouldn’t shake up the status quo TOO much imo, so if the show were to not get a s3 afterwards, it wouldn’t necessarily feel like we were missing out on a ton of story potential. And if we WERE to get a s3, Geoff being Chairman would give Scratch the freedom to conclude his own personal arc (that likely being tracking down Adia)
But yeah, those are my thoughts, feel free to tell me yours

I’ve never understood the Hannibal fandom craze around Abigail and Beverly. Like, sure, daughter-figure and best friend, on the surface. Will doesn’t really know Abigail, only the parts of her that she shows while trying to hide her own guilt, and then after that, only an idealized version of her. I’d argue Hannibal is closer to Abigail than Will, just by virtue of shared secrets and proximity! And then Beverly is a friendly colleague, but I’ve never been able to read anything more into that; Will acts around her the same way I act around colleagues that I can tolerate for work, but don’t really otherwise like. But fandom always seems to overemphasize the bonds between them and Will’s grief after their deaths, which we only actually see for one episode for Beverly and, what, three or four for Abigail? :| I’ve never understood the hype.
I agree, I think sometimes Will’s relationships with Abigail and Beverly are very overrated. An idea of a child and a colleague - this is how I would describe Abigail and Beverly respectively in terms of their relevance to Will.
Abigail
I agree with everything you’ve said: Hannibal was closer to Abigail than Will because he actually knew her and got to spend time with her. At first, Will doesn’t seem to see Abigail as any kind of daughter figure at all. It’s Hannibal who keeps cultivating this idea in his mind. Will is startled by it in E2, and he’s startled again in E4, when he’s talking about dogs as his family and Hannibal clarifies that he actually meant Abigail. This is clearly not something Will considered before.
Soon, with Hannibal’s encouragement, he eagerly accepts the idea and starts clinging to it. He’s lonely and he wants to have a family, something stable and relatively normal. At the same time, he refuses to see Abigail as an actual killer - he needs her to be innocent because he can’t tolerate the idea of being drawn exclusively to people with darkness. This alienates her, and she and Will end up not interacting for the biggest part of the season.
In S2, after losing her, Will idolizes her - he imagines closeness that he craved but which was never there. He wanted an Abigail like that - someone who might have been tainted but who remained largely innocent; someone he could protect and fish with; someone he could share his dark ideas, thoughts, and emotions with. Hannibal is the best option for the latter, but since Will saw him as a betrayer at that point, he clung to the image of Abigail even harder because she was the second best option. He hated the idea of contributing to her death, he couldn’t live with it. Seeing her alive in E13 meant that his mistakes were minimal, that things could still be fine, that the dream could become a reality. But it was too late again.
In S3, he uses her image to voice his feelings for Hannibal. Will always loved the idea of Abigail, not Abigail herself - he didn’t even know her. But losing a dream is also intolerable, especially when it happens twice and partly because of you, so Will mourns this possibility of connection that never happened.
Beverly
I often see comments that Beverly was like a sister to Will, and this always confuses me because they were friendly colleagues at best. It's a good head-canon that I enjoy in fics, but I don’t see any of it in the show.
In E5 of S1, Will tried to stand up for himself to Jack and Beverly criticized him for it because she wasn’t close enough to him to know his real situation. Friends would do what, ironically, Hannibal did - encourage Will to stand up for himself and try to get him to see how Jack treats him. Jack saw Will is not well, but considered him useful; Alana saw it, too, but trusted Hannibal to watch Will; Beverly didn't know Will enough to notice the major signs and distantly trusted him to get himself together and stop talking back to their boss. In E13, she concluded that Will should have never come to the FBI if he wasn't sure he was feeling like himself, which is completely valid but again, too cold and distant for a friend. She was upset during gathering-evidence process, but not heartbroken or anything, like Alana was, for example. She was mildly disturbed, which perfectly reflects the bond she had with Will.
In S2, she was ready to never see Will again if Jack said so; she had no patience for his possible excuses (which is too harsh for a friend since Will was actually ill). She recoiled from his touch when she was passing the documents; she came to him only because she needed his help with the case, and she agreed to investigate on his behalf for the same reason - Will blackmailed her. When she started to suspect that he might be right, she became more invested, but I never saw any friendship there, just the potential for it. She decided to visit Will to use him and she stayed for justice.
Will spends one episode being angry at Hannibal for Beverly’s death, and I think even then, it’s guilt and possessiveness speaking in him, not actual affection. The fact that Will never mentions Beverly again shows the extent of her importance to him. When he lists all things Hannibal did to him that he finds hurtful, he mentions Abigail - she is the focus of all their talks, Margot's baby, the fact that Hannibal supposedly alienated him from Alana and Jack, but that's it. No word about Beverly, not ever again. Will tried to get Hannibal killed after Beverly’s death, and in his eyes, that’s it. He considers the matter closed and not worthy of further discussions.
Beverly could be a great friend - she’d never let Will wallow in self-pity and self-denial, but they weren’t close, didn’t know each other well enough, and in the show in particular, I think Beverly was too good of a person to be friends with Will. She was firmly oriented toward justice and she’d be disgusted with Will’s constant longing for darkness.
There is a reason why Will is so stubbornly drawn to Hannibal: Hannibal is the only actual friend and family he’s ever had.

I hope they explore more will dynamics in s5 since in seasons 2-4 we mostly see him interacting with the same people (exluding s1 since he was stuck in the upside-down for most of it). It makes sense for his character since compared to the rest of the party he's quieter and more introverted but still. In s2 he's mostly seen interacting with joyce, Jonathan, Mike, Dustin and Lucas with a few others but mainly these 5 and maybe hopper and even though max was introduced this season we don't get to see that much with them. In s3 will mostly interacts with the same people and compared to the rest of the party he doesn't really interact with characters like Steve, Nancy, Robin or El and he interacts with max a bit more but still not that much. In s4 the byers moved to California and we get to see him interact with el but other then her and I guess argyle (Suzie and Murray too but those are very breif) he mostly sticks to the same people again. He was also the only og party member to not really bring anyone in since Dustin, Lucas and Mike (but mostly mike) brought el into the party in s1 while it was mostly Dustin and Lucas bringing max into the party in s2. Sorry if I ranted in your inbox but this just popped into my head
I think the main problem is that he's quiet and introverted. He's not just gonna immediately start vibing with people like Steve or Robin for example, he'll need some time. I can see him getting along fine with Nancy though, he's known her for many years so he wouldn't feel that awkward about it. Plus she's dating his brother.
If the whole team is going to be less segmented this year, maybe Will will be getting a lot of time with his siblings (Jonathan and El) and in doing so, he'll get to spend a lot of time with Nancy?
Nancy is the only one on that hill that can tell all of them exactly what happened while they were all away. Nancy, being the smart lady she is, can also probably put the pieces together and realize Will is in danger just like Max was.
We only got a little bit of Nancy and Max content, but I really love that exchange they sorta had.
Max: Try not to miss. Nancy, later: I won't miss.
She's even directly confronted Vecna multiple times now. Would be cool if she took an older sister stance like "Nah. I'm joining the Will Byers protection squad and I won't let Vecna touch him. -loads gun-"
That would also be a shame though cause we'd end up with Nancy acting like more of an older sister towards Will than her own little brother so I dunno about that 😂
If my theory about Will being able to go into Vecna's mind and interacting with the souls trapped there is true, I think that could introduce a lot of opportunities for Will and Max scenes. At least a couple of them, if he's able to act as the liaison between her and the real world. They made a point to show that El couldn't find her, but maybe Will can? Max and Will have a lot of the same grief regarding their family life (though luckily Will's big bro isn't an asshole towards him), would be nice if that gets acknowledged.
If Will and Robin gets some scenes together, firstly, I hope it doesn't overpower and scenes with Jonathan. Like, I want Will to come out to Jonathan or Joyce first period end of story. But it would be interesting if we got indications that Robin is picking up on signals Will isn't even aware he's putting out and goes out of her way to try to be friendly with him? Like the extroverted kid adopting the shy kid dynamic. But Robin herself is in the closet and is terrified of being exposed so I don't think she'd go out of her way to be super obvious that she knows or cause him more anxiety than he already has.
LUCAS. I DEMAND LUCAS AND WILL SCENES END OF STORY. LUCAS, EL, AND WILL ALL TRYING TO SAVE MAX FROM VECNA. I NEED IT NOW. LUCAS AND WILL HUG NOW
It would also be really cool if Dustin and Will were the dnd consultants and had discussions on theories with each other. Other than Dustin, Will is the most invested in dnd. Like I know he gave away his manuals and whatnot, but he obviously still loves it dearly. I would like to see Dustin turning to Will for his opinion to see if Will's knowledge on Vecna lines up with some kind of dnd lore or rules. Or Will suggesting something and Dustin backing him up. Stuff like that.
There are many opportunities to be had here, but who knows if they'll actually follow through.

What about SwanFireQueen appeals to you? Besides, sharing a child together. ❤️ 😃
Hello! Sorry for taking a while to answer, I apparently have a lot of thoughts LOOOL
So, there are lots of things that I love about them actually! Henry being in the picture is definitely a factor that makes me interested in their dynamic, because CO-PARENTING, and I just think I would have LOVED to see them all interact for more than two seconds.
I’m a fan of both Swanfire and Swanqueen, and as far as Swanfirequeen goes I’d love it both as a closed triad (or a open one, why not loool I love Hookedqueen too and I’m just saying that Emma would have the time of her life roasting Regina for her dating choices and Neal would be like “Nope NOPE I don’t want to know ANYTHING that you are doing with my stepfather, please and thank you”, it would be hilarious) and as a V relationship with Emma in the middle. Or also Swanfire together romantically and Regina just vibing queerplatonically, because aro!Regina my beloved.
Whether as romantic partners or metamours or anything else, I definitely crave Regina/Neal interactions. Because they are my two favourite characters, obviously, but also because I think there’s a lot of potential there! They definitely don’t start in a place where they would be too friendly with each other, Neal being so wary of magic and having first met Regina in s2 (when Cora was guiding her down a Not Really Nice spiral) and Regina not being particularly good at sharing (meaning both Henry, because I definitely think that she would struggle a lot with having another co-parent, and also Emma).
I would have loved to see them going from “I don’t trust you and I vaguely dislike you” to “I trust you but only in a very limited capacity, meaning I trust that we both want what’s best for Henry and/or Emma and that is going to have to be enough” to “forced to spend time together and reluctantly growing to like each other” to caring deeply about each other. Just *chef kiss*
I feel like they could bond over their complicated relationships with their parents, just. parents who choose power over their children, trying so hard not to repeat their parents’ mistakes but ultimately failing (Neal because he wasn’t there for eleven years of Henry’s life and Regina "not knowing how to love very well” and hurting Henry before she starts letting him go and learning how to break the cycle), but they could also talk about Rumple specifically, since Regina had him as a bit of a father figure (s6 whomst, I don’t know them).
And there’s also something that I really love about Neal, so scared and distrustful of magic, ending up trusting Regina deeply when so much of her identity is entangled with her magic. I think I threw it in a fic at some point in the form of Neal seeing some magical threat and being like “NOPE” and cowering behind Regina, who definitely wasn’t expecting him to instinctively turn to her for protection.
AND HONESTLY, these two could and should have worked together in s3 when they were in the Enchanted Forest, they should have set aside their differences in the name of how much they both wanted to get back to Henry (and Emma), I DESERVED THAT
But alright, other than these two LOL, I also feel like the three of them as a unit work well together: Neal and Emma have huge abandonment issues but love really deeply, Regina is a clinger who has issues with unconditional love (meaning that she expects people’s love for her to be conditional), it’s a match made in heaven I’m telling you
Plus I feel like both Neal and Emma are pretty messy, so it makes total sense to have Regina, all neat and organized, paired with them. And by “it makes total sense” I mean that they are going to drive her insane and it’s hilarious.
Not to mention the potential for an Extremely Awkward Roommates to lovers storyline: they end up all staying at Regina’s because Neal doesn’t want to stay with his father and his wife and he wants to be with Henry, Emma also wants to be with Henry and her parents’ loft is starting to get crowded with the new baby, and Regina goes for it because Henry just really really wants to enjoy all of his parents and she just can’t say no.
Except Neal and Emma still haven’t figured their shit out, Regina is pining after her son’s mother and is extremely annoyed at said child’s father for taking away from her time with both Emma and Henry, Neal is extremely uneasy living with the literal Evil Queen, and Emma WHILE trying to deal with her feelings for Neal is also starting to realize that something might possibly be up when it comes to her feelings for Regina. Neal and Emma also keep leaving snack trails around the house, they are a nightmare to wake up in the morning and Regina is going to kill both of them (Neal and Emma, on the other hand, think that she’s a dramatic neat-freak). Meanwhile, Henry is just enjoying the show while eating popcorn, safe in the knowledge that if he leaves crumbles Neal and Emma will get blamed for it.
The POTENTIAL is all I’m saying

Okay I have some complicated thoughts following Melanie’s arc that all build on top of each other and hinge HEAVILY on unreliable narrator interpretations so bear with me
In my relisten I’m at the beginning of s3, and it always shocks me a bit at how quickly she interprets Martin’s interaction with her as hostile.  I’m going to skip over the “it’s understandable, Melanie’s had a hard time in her career” disclaimers since there’s plenty of meta on that already, and instead follow the effects of this tendency: not on others, this time, but on her
(This got absurdly long and covers so many episodes so I’m going to split it into separate pre- and post-bullet surgery posts)
Rewinding a bit, the last time she was at the Institute, she was starting to get along with Jon before he seemed confused about her comment on “the other Sasha.”  It takes her a split second to interpret that confusion as him suddenly deciding to gaslight and mock her, gets angry and tells him there is something seriously wrong with him, and leaves before he can ask what she means.  Given how tenuous their truce was and the fact she and Jon had mocked each other in the past, it’s an outburst that at least has some personal history behind it.
But only a couple episodes later, we learn that it’s not just Jon she responds to in this way.  In TMA 84, she meets our Martin Blackwood!  Customer service voice opposite-of-Jon politeness extraordinaire!  And as soon as he gets confused about the two Sasha comment, she.......immediately assumes that HE is also trying to gaslight her.  She insists that “I’m not doing this again” without giving him a chance to ask or explain, so they miss the opportunity to piece together the deal with the Not!Sasha.  Her doing this with someone she just met shows a much broader pattern than her interactions with Jon.
That very episode, Elias offers Melanie a job, and she accepts despite Martin’s protests.  Later, she accuses them all of them being an “old boy’s club” because she interpreted Martin’s warnings as sexism rather than trying to protect her.  As the audience, we see the unreliable narrator of her perspective at work: we know that Jon and Martin were genuinely confused, and we know that Martin was trying to save her, and that all of these instances were her seeing it as people being out to get her.
Hop forward to the notorious gossip scene in TMA 106.  Here, Melanie complains about Martin being hostile to her.  My first assumption was that this was all offscreen, but after this parade of misinterpretation and comparing to her and Martin’s actual interactions, I have to wonder:
TMA 84, after Martin tells Melanie about the murder, and right before Elias interrupts:
Martin:  Are you sure you’re alright?
Melanie:  Yes!  I just got… God, I’m kind of at the end, you know?
Martin:  The end of what?
Melanie:   Everything.  Friends, clues, savings. Everything.  Options.  There’s nowhere left for me to go . I don’t know why, but…  I just, I just felt that perhaps coming here might help.  And talking things out with Jon.  I mean, I mean he’s awful, but at least he listens, you know?
Martin:   (soft) Yeah.  ...I’m sorry.  Um, is there anything that I could, like, maybe...do for you?
They get interrupted immediately after this, so this was the first impression Melanie was given.  Then, when Elias offers the job, she...assumes Martin’s “I don’t think that’s a good idea” is from sexism, when he’d just been talking about murders and disappearances that caused that very job opening.
TMA 88
Melanie:   Are you alright?
Martin:  Yeah… Sorry, just a lot of change recently, y’know.  You and John and Sasha and… everything’s gone a bit wrong.  It’s the not knowing, you know?  I mean, Jons still alive.  Not sure why, but I’m sure of that.  But Sasha, I…
Melanie:   Yes, it’s… it’s probably, um…
Martin:   Sorry, sorry, I’m...  What do you need?
Next interaction!  Oh this one HURTS.  Martin takes her question literally, and starts telling her why she’s not alright, a reverse of their earlier exchange.  But Melanie came by for a question and wasn’t prepared for an honest answer, so Martin quickly reels it in and asks what he can do for her once again.
Skipping forward a bit in that same scene:
Martin:   Oh, you weren’t here when we took the place over from Gertrude!  It’s been over a year just to get it like this.  I mean, I think the database was on Jon’s list, but--
Melanie:  So how do you track someone down?
Martin:   Oh, oh well, y’know, we’ve a few contacts in various record offices around the place.  Aside from that it’s just… just a bit of detective work, really.  Tim used to do a great line in impersonating people to utility companies!  Heh, the number of times he got them to give him ‘his own’ address--
Melanie:  Right, right… Um, this one, the name is 'Jude Perry.’ Doesn’t mean anything to you, does it?
I LOVE THIS EXCHANGE.  I TREASURE IT.  Having bottled up his emotions, Martin is going in full Friendly Helpful Coworker mode.  There are so many little details here signaling that he’s embracing her as part of the team, sharing anecdotes about Tim’s shenanigans and Jon’s old plans, looping her in as One of Them as he helps her get what she needs.  This is the kind of approach you go to management trainings to get, to help new hires feel welcome and part of things.  But alas, Melanie is in a hurry and wants to cut to the chase, so all this is lost on her.
TMA 98 - I won’t copy it all in here because it’s long, but this is an overwhelmingly positive interaction.  She asks if he’s okay, but he bottles it up and says he’s fine.  This time, she presses, and he admits it’s because of the statements.  Martin ends up asking for help!! and Melanie agrees!  She’s on the way to murder Elias, but she still gets credit for “I’ll ask him to cut you some slack.”  Then she invites him to drinks!
And then.... TMA 106
Melanie:   Anyway, Martin’s always been lovely to you.
Basira:  Hmm. I don’t know, I mean, you should have seen him when I turned up last year. I think he thought I was trying to steal his precious Archivist.
Melanie:   Ahhh. I got the exact same when Jon was hiding out, and came to me with his “source on the inside” stuff.  Martin was not impressed.
WAIT WHAT
We just looked over all their interactions!  They were all soft and lovely and welcoming!!  But then we hear Melanie with “well unlike how he is to me, Martin is nice to you.”  This was taken at face value for years, but when you line up all of the above, I feel there is a strong basis to say this is another case of Melanie’s first impressions + over-defensiveness gone wrong.  Just like we saw her initial bickerings with Jon solidify into series-long hostility, her interpreting Martin’s confusion as gaslighting and warnings about the job as sexism seems to have doomed her opinion of him long-term.  We hear Martin being kind and concerned and welcoming, then hear Melanie contrast it as bad treatment.
Recently, a mutual considered this even further to how she talked about losing all of her friends with the Ghost Hunt UK circles:
Melanie:  Even back then, I could feel all my old friends starting to distance themselves from me. ...  I stopped asking the others for help, and I kept my research to myself. I talked to them less and less. By the time I was arrested, I think a lot of them had already given up on me.
I have to wonder...did this sort of dynamic play out here, too?  Did she assume that her friends’ concern was judgment or hostility?  Were they giving up on her, or did she lash out and push them away?  Either way, it’s easy to see parallels to s2 Jon in her description, here, with her withdrawing and diving alone into increasingly risky research without asking for help.  And s2 Jon definitely shared Melanie’s tendency to see offers for help and support as hostile.  (Aside:  I interpret her and Georgie as not very close at this point, like a networking contact rather than a friend; Melanie comes to Jon for someone to talk to about her struggles above her, and Georgie seems to be unaware of all of Melanie’s encounters pre-s3)
And on that downer note I am ending part 1...but PART 2 IS GOING TO BE WAY HAPPIER THAN THIS.  Here, we see Melanie with a lot of people who would have supported her if she let them:  Martin, Jon, possibly the friends she said abandoned her.  But in her effort to protect herself and not let history repeat for how she’d been hurt in the past, she ends up alone and spiraling.

I always hear this very *sexist* take about how Lizzie was "obsessed" with Tommy when that’s not even the true. Lizzie was minding her own business in S1 doing her job and from S2 finale to S3 she was on her own relationship, alright, dating a member of a rival gang wasn’t smart but she wasn’t thinking of Tommy at all. Let’s talk instated about Tommy's obsession WITH LIZZIE. Lizzie was going to marry John on S1 – he offered and it was probably the best choice for her to get out of that work situation. It was Tommy that had to insert himself in the situation and ruin it for her. The reason as to why he did that are unclear to me. He didn’t want his brother to marry the prostitute he was seeing? He wanted control? He didn’t want Lizzie to stop sleeping with him? All of the above? We will never know. The Angel situation escalated because of John's weird protective behavior towards Lizzie that was later encouraged by Tommy. It has been obviously clear that Tommy always looked at Lizzie for sex, not the other way around, it was mutual. Even on the time skip between S3 and S4 it was clear that they weren’t sleeping together and he was hiring other women for it. It was him that initiated their fwb behavior again. It wasn’t Lizzie pursuing him in an obsessive behavior. The only instance when she might have got a bit too far was the whole May interaction and still it wasn’t that serious. An episode prior Tommy himself was gently kissing her and maybe getting her hopes up. She got jealous and lashed out, that’s normal. Tommy has been petty in multiple occasions too. His possessive behavior on S5 as well because I don’t think he would’ve gotten this petty if Mosley didn’t bring out the fact that he might or might have not slept with Lizzie before. He needed to "lay his claim" with Lizzie because of his own paranoid tendencies which is exactly what he did with Campbell – calling him to let him know he was sleeping with Grace again out of pettiness.
It’s so weird when people label Lizzie’s love for Tommy as obsessive when it has never been that way. She loved him (more than he probably deserved) but she always stood clear in what exactly their relationship was about. The whole "she got pregnant just to trape him" it’s like so wrong in who Lizzie is as a character. She knows Tommy more than anyone (even sometimes Polly). She might have let herself hope for a happy life with Tommy but she has never been manipulative and Tommy knows this about her.
I don't think Lizzie is obsessed with Tommy, and agree with you that there are some very sexist takes on her out there. At the same time, I do think Lizzie was in love with him for a long time despite the fact that he was not in love with her, and there are some interesting comments from Natasha O'Keeffe in the Peaky Blinders book about Lizzie's motivations, which have a lot to do with survival. Of course portions of fandom twist this to make her out to be some kind of gold-digging harpy, but I don't see it that way at all. From their interactions in s2 I do think a big part of it was probably that Tommy was kinder to her than other Johns (not excusing Tommy's behavior at all, but you get the sense that they were on pretty friendly terms by s2).
Where I very much disagree with you is that I don't think Tommy was obsessed with Lizzie at all.
Tommy's motivations for steering John away from marrying Lizzie had nothing to do with his own relationship with Lizzie, imo, and more to do with a) the fact that it was pretty clear John couldn't deal with her past given his reaction to the idea of people calling her a whore -- and this is probably more about the idea of John fighting anyone who looked at Lizzie askance and having to deal with the problems that would create rather than Lizzie's sake and b) he'd already come up with the plan to seal an alliance with the Lees via marriage. It was fairly obvious that what John was looking for was a wife to take care of his children more than any one person in particular -- in other words, he didn't really care that much about Lizzie herself.
So yeah, I actually think Tommy's reasons are pretty clear in context, and have nothing to do with whatever he feels about Lizzie in s1, which I doubt is much.
Tommy didn't encourage John's jealousy about Lizzie, what Tommy did was come down hard on the Changrettas in order to snuff out what he sees as rebellion against Shelby power. He says so, in the scene with John and Polly and Arthur. Again, it has nothing to do with Lizzie herself and everything to do with having to deal with the consequences of what John had done. This plan backfired tragically on him, but his motivation was to end the war John had provoked, not support John's jealous pursuit of Angel.
I do think we can't downplay Lizzie's jealousy over May, though. Yeah, parts of fandom will be dicks about it, but it's an important part of her character. I don't think this makes her obsessive; but it is a sign of how her feelings have been impacted by Tommy's on again-off again attitude towards her. And I don't really think Tommy had ever made her any promises (at the time) beyond fucking, so this is a hope Lizzie is bringing to the situation. Tommy appears fairly oblivious to how she feels about him for a lot of the series so I don't think he had the intention to hurt her -- but he doesn't particularly take her feelings into consideration either. Again, this doesn't excuse him; he definitely feels that because she was a sex worker in the past he doesn't have to treat her with the circumspect care he would a Grace or May, where protecting her reputation/propriety is something he takes seriously.
But yeah I agree with you that her jealousy there was normal given the situation. And I agree that Tommy himself has a petty streak, though I'm not sure it's about jealousy really.
And I definitely don't think she got pregnant to trap him (another misogynistic trope) though I do think she had a hope that when she told him about it he would ask her to marry him, rather than tell her he'd pay for an abortion or buy her a house. She did appear to be disappointed there, but I think this is because at the time she was still in love with him.
I don't think she's been manipulative ever, but I do think her line about how you have to take what you want is very important to her character arc -- and I think it's something she learned from Tommy, which makes it interesting, because what she wanted and took was the sort of life that he could give her, despite the fact she knew he would never be 'in love' with her in the storybook way I think she'd hoped for earlier on in their relationship. The thing is I do think he loved her, just not in a romantic way

✨s4 theories and wishes✨ because I woke up today thinking about it and I haven't stopped it's ruining my schedule:
-Darius. Needs. To Cry. Let. him. CRY.
-On a more serious note, Darius will probably doubt his abilities as a leader next season. Now that him and Kenji (who's pretty much been his greatest supporter since s1, if maybe not always for the right reasons) are in bad terms, he might start questioning himself and try harder to keep the rest safe, ultimately pushing himself to his limit and breaking down. He has to let the team know that he can't carry them on his shoulders all the time. He's 12, he's a child, let him live the yacht life for a minute please.
-Literally ANY info on Brooklynn's background. We don't know her last name, the only mention of her parents is iffy, and we have nothing about her life besides being an influencer. My opinion is that anything involving Brooklynn will probably start showing up this season, maybe not taking too much time until s5 (if there is which there better be)
-Also she was recently kidnapped, let her deal with that ok?
-Give her a break from third-wheeling Yasammy all the time please, girl must be on the verge of screaming "YOU BOTH LIKE EACH OTHER"
-Sammy's season was s3, but her time to shine is definitely not over. Mantah Corp is very much one of the few options on the table for villains in s4, and we could see her dealing with them again and trying to protect both her families: the one back home and the new one she found. Not to mention she's got the flashdrive, which unless they just lost it, someone probably took it away from them because Wu is still dancing around and making new dinosaurs in FK sooo what happened there?
-Showing her trauma after being poisoned. Excuse me but if they showed us how Ben is not okay after the month he spent on his own, I think it's only fair that they show us a similar plot for Sammy. Just because she's the most happy, bubbly character in the show doesn't mean she's just going to brush it off.
-Actually, remember that scene from View from the Top where Kenji asks Sammy about the hang glider scene and she goes something like "nope! I've blocked those memories from my mind!" and it sounds like a joke? Yeah well it's not a joke anymore. Sammy's going to try and block her trauma, but she's gonna be a little "off" through the season. Yaz notices and wants to help her, even though Sammy keeps reassuring her she's ok. But Yaz sticks by her side and well *"Sammy realizes she also has a crush on Yaz" sticky note comes into scene*
-Ben dealing with leaving Bumpy behind. It was kinda resolved last season but I don't think it would be reasonable to just forget her. But also DON'T MAKE IT A HUGE DEAL LET HIM BE SOMEWHAT HAPPY FOR ONE SEASON OK??
-Him having an episode to bond with each camper, like Zuko in s3 of ATLA, because he really hasn't gotten a lot of interactions with the rest (friendly interactions, not "running for their lives" ones I mean).
-This is kind of a stretch but: Yaz becoming the new leader
-LISTEN, I know it sounds weird at first, but think about it. All the other campers have issues to work through (I'm not saying she doesn't, but in matters of the season, the others will have a little more focus), and with the show starting to head towards taking the stress off Darius's shoulders, she would be the best candidate for that. The whole thing would not happen in this season only though: it'd probably start in this one and become more fleshed out in the next one. It would be a good close to her character, since she started out as an "I can do it all by myself" kind of person and she'd end up as the leader and having learnt how to rely on others. Not to mention that it would parallel The Art of Chill which was in s2, so even seasons mirroring each other. AND also allows for more Darius and Yaz bonding *does a little dance*
-OH BOY where do I even start with Kenji???
-Listen, he f*cked up. And badly. What he said to Darius has no excuse. But I think the whole situation might bring us to finally know what's going on with his familial issues, and allow him to become an even more rounded character. Kenji in s2 was amazing: we started seeing more sides of him that allowed us to become more attached. But in s3 it felt like he just??? backed down a little??? In some episodes (especially Casa de Kenji) they gave us more complexity, but in others it felt like his s1 self all over again. I really hope the whole situation with him and Darius pays up at the end and they both become better characters and their bond becomes stronger (and if it goes the other way around I stg-)
-I'd also like to have someone talk to him about those issues. In his own words (very true words I'd say), he's "the glue that keeps all campers together", but in very few situations he's ever comforted back (the only one that pops up is the end scene in Casa de Kenji where Darius assures him he's a good friend and well, they're on opposite corners now so what happens?).
-This is not a wish but a demand WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH KENJI AND THE MERMAIDS EACH SEASON IT'S GETTING CONCERNING.
-YASAMMY CANON ENDGAME JUST LET THEM SHOW THE GAY
-The pining will have no end. Sammy will probably realize her feelings this season (that is if she hasn't already and we're just too blind) and Yaz already has accepted them and The Long Run left very clear that she would do anything for her at this point so seeing them act awkwardly cute around each other and the rest acknowledging this is quite possible. Not to mention that if Mantah Corp becomes important next season it could make some drama, with Yaz becoming more involved in the flashdrive situation (I literally have an entire plot for this believe me)
-KILL THE TENSION BETWEEN BEN AND KENJI IT'S DRIVING ME INSANEEEEEEE
-I'd like to say that I don't care if the tension involves romance or not but let's be honest, if there's no hints towards canon Benji this season I will throw myself off a boat. Anyways, even without a shipping lens it makes no sense that they continue to ignore each other. No two people in the show have never interacted for longer than 4 episodes, and these two have been avoiding any interaction for the entirety of s3. Not to mention that they're a big part of each other's arcs: Kenji started dropping the Mr. VIP facade and showed more vulnerability after Ben fell (which btw, are we ever going to acknowledge his reaction or was it just for laughs?), and Ben found his way back to the campers because he found Kenji's butterknife and then saved them from Hap. They need to talk.
-BOYS DAY OUT EPISODE BOYS DAY OUT EPISODE BOYS DAY OUT EPISODE I NEED IT SO BAD PLEASE (alternatively: boys day out but it's angsty because Ben tries to lessen the tension between Darius and Kenji but the argument blows up right there)
-B DUO EPISODE I JUST KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE A "PARTNERS-IN-CRIME" DYNAMIC I JUST KNOW IT
-More of the friendships we saw in s3 like Samji and Brooklynn and Yaz
-Some outfit changes. For example, let Ben have another shirt (IT IS RAGS), Brook sweetie leave that jacket it's about 100 degrees outside, and let Kenji come across a razor please
-And the most obvious one: Bring. Back. Dave. and Roxie

have you watched elite's season 4 finale already? what are your takes on caye and phillipe? no judgements here tho, just want to know your opinion on them
Hello, nonny! Yes, I did. My opinion about Caye and Philippe has several different aspects (which a litle bit conflict with each other).
Lets write long post.)) Sorry for mistakes and typos, English is not my first language and I`m not really good with grammar.
1) Caye and Philippe story is feminist retelling-reverse of the Beauty and the Beast, where main characters didn`t became couple and The Beauty left her Beast not for Gaston other romance, but for her own path. And their relationship helped the Beast to realize his past mistakes and make to want to fix it, even if it`s too late . Comparing with many other things in that season that storyline was not bad. Really. There MANY problems with s4, I think the best stolyline had Rebe and Mencia, it was really good, and in my personal opinion, despite many flaws, Caye and Philippe storyline is second one for me. Kinda it was not really good, but it had plot, idea, composition and message. Writers knew very clear, what they tried to say, and despite obvious lack of screen time, they handle it, and this story, despite it doesn`t connect with main plot, resonate with main storyline on the level of their ideas. (About it later.) I know, Georgina is feminist, so I wonder, could she give some advice writers? Kinda “it can work better if...” something like it.
2) Personally I`m very disappointed how OOC was Caye in that season and how few screen time she had. For me Caye from s4 feels like too much different person than in s2-3. I wanted character development for her, but something more slow and realistic. S4 Cayetana feels like all her character development happened between s3 and s4 (and partly in special, which really was very good), and I don`t believe in it. Caye from s4 is good character, but there is no real connection with Caye from s2-3.
I knew, she was very upopular character in s2-3, so maybe creators afraid to gave her too much screen time. But also they still wanted she was part of story and write redemption arc for her. And honestly, anon, these two thing can`t work together well. When you write redemption arc for well written nuanced character that Cayetana was in s2-3, you need give character enough screen time and nuances. But it seems, s4 writers don`t care enough about writing S1-3 characters in character. In s2-3 Caye was bad girl, but also she was comedy relief (but s4 has very few comedy moments), she had family (where the fuck her mother and granddad now? We know only that her mother cannot work in Las Ensinas, but don`t know, why), we saw, that she did`t sleep almost, because she learn in Las Ensinas, worked as janitor and still hung out with rich kids. (I think I began feel compassion for her, when realized it). It that seson she almost has not other scenes than with Philippe. OK, she was pariah in school during previous year, but if writers began that things with Caye and Rebe friendship, can they continue it. Rebe and Caye both had problem with their love interests and they never discussed it. Only time they speak about Philippe was in 402. Also Benjamin fired Azucena, and wanted to expel Samu and Omar, but Caye still works there? And Benjamin still protects her even? Why? I mean, after whole thing with scam in s2. Maybe it because protection of Polo`s mothers, but it never was said in s4 even. It seems, Benjamin knows things about her story with Polo (like he knows about Philippe`s past), and it could be really interesting possiblity to bring on scene that aspect of situation and Benjamin`s character and him and Caye interaction.
Also there is something with Georgina`s acting in s4, in most of scenes she acts as different character, so maybe it was and her (as actress) decision too. I wrote before, she is feminist, and maybe she wanted to bring more feminists vibes in s4 Caye, because it makes storyline works better? Given how few connection with previous seasons on script level her s4 story had, it make sense even, it`s just feel OOC for me, because Caye is not feminist at all. She is strong and ambitious, but she is not type of women what call themselves feminists, and when she said “I became my own Fairy Godmother” in s2, she meant that she was forced to do it. Caye was girl who wanted to be princess from old school Disney animation. In s3 she wanted to live and study on Polo mother money in London and was fully OK with it. When she refused their proposition, it was because thoughts, that Polo could be alive and even more or lesser happy in other school without those her messages, haunted her. Plus when Polo died, he thought Caye was with him more because his money than because Polo himself. I remember, in her first scene Caye read  The Second Sex, but it was spectacle for her schoolmates. And when she spoke with them about her fake rich life, it always was “look how rich and glamour I am”. Partly she spoke in this way because she knew very few about rich people`s life, but also there were some of her dreams. She wanted to be rich and and be part of this glamour life. In s3 she became in some way, and she had a lot of possiblities to understand how many shit, pain and tragedies can hide for glamour facade. Theoretically she knew it before. But she was exctremely poor, so it was a little bit difficult for her to think about it too much.
3) So I think more mention of Caye`s story from s2-3 could make her and Philippe story better. Philippe himself have same problem as Polo in some way: he is rich guy, and his mother indulged him too much. Caye saw how Polo`s mother indulged him and saw where it ended. Not good for Polo and many other people. Marina and Polo could be alive and Samu`s family could live with him in Spain, if Polo`s mothers raised their son better. Even if Caye don`t care much about Guzman or Samu and she never knew Marina, she had enough time between seasons to reflect of situation. So with more s2-3 reference that “matter of education thing” Caye says to Philippe`s mother could sound not only as sort of feminist  slogan, but as something very personal and painful for Caye. She was in love with boy, who was spoiled too much by his parents (like Philippe), and it brought a lof pain him, his friends, Caye. I don`t say there are not at all attempts include previous Caye experience in s4. For example, when Caye does google research about Philippe and finds nothings, she is still suspicious because she know, how easy money could erase some thing.  Also that thing with Pilippe`s mother. I think after conversation with her,Caye realized that Philippe`s and Polo`s promblems had very much same roots. But such moments really have not enough space. Guzman had at least one scene, where he speak about his reflection on s1 evens (where he compares Mencia and Marina). I would like to see something like it with Caye.
4) Many things in Caye and Philippe storyline feel offscreen. We know they regularly talk in school, but see very few of it etc. Actors have good chemistry, and since they both like fashion design, it feels enough for beginning of communication, plus Caye had crush on Philippe long before they met, plus she was first who was really friendly with him in new school (in some way it`s repeat of Caye and Polo story, but with more positive vibes). But I want to see more illustration, why Philippe fell in love with Caye so much.
5) Now about Philippe himself. I saw many hateposts and hatecomments about him, and it`s really funny, because I constantly see how many people in this fandom love Polo and think he deserved better, despite Polo is murderer. Yes, he killed Marina out of emotion, but she is fucking dead. She will never resurrect. Guzman will remember till grave that his best friend killed his sister and then was killed by Guzman`s ex-girlfriend, because policy failed to handle their job well. Samu`s brother was forced to left Spain because it. But it took 2 seasons for Polo to understand he needs go to policy and confess he killed Marina. Caye didn`t understood how wrong her actions were till Polo`s death. I don`t know how long was Elodie`s rape, but at least Philippe didn`t need someone`s corpse to realize his mistakes. Inside standart of this show that guy isn`t hopeless. “Everybody deserve second chance” was important point in Caye`s story in s2-3, so now I wonder how writers will play this card in s5 in relationship between Philippe and Caye.
Also I want to say I was wrong, when doubted in Pol Granch acting, he`s good additon to Elite cast.
6) Caye x Philippe storyline and main storyline. In that seson Elite brings of scene, in additon of another murder and drug traid, sex crimes. Prostitution, rapes. It`s interesting, that connection here takes place through Ari, girl, who has serious problem with sexual behavior, when she`s drunk. She`s know it`s perfectly, but also she knows, that when woman says “no”, it`s means “no” and end of story. I really like her role in Caye and Philippe story and I hope in s5 there will be at least some scenes with her and Caye. Also interesting point were Ari`s word that she never report to the police without prove. It feels ambigous. She knows, Phillippe is not angel at all. But also there is other side of coin. I think, she also knows, reputation can be ruined very easy. During s4 there was subplot with discussion club. And Samu speak that ex-criminals cannot become somebody else, even if they wants. Their reputation in society was ruined. In final of Philippe story he sent Elodie his confession. So maybe writers tried to write about theme “can criminal, who admitted his mistakes, to became somebody else?” through season and I think they will continue it in s5.
Sorry if this all sounds muddled and too long. Maybe later I will make some additon into reblogs to this post, I don`t know.

Gonna be posting my asks and answers from @well-shit-im-a-morosexual-now here cause tumblr's fucking up that blog:
Hii!!! I basically agree with everything you just said but I'll go into more detail on it with your points:
- I do 100% believe S4 should be a new character/angel focused season. I think I said so in the lesson 60 summary too that it'd make sense and be interesting to meet the angels and get their side of the story without the brothers' interference (the angels give me HEAVY morally grey characters who think they're wholly in the right vibes and I love it) + there's still a lot of Simeon and Solomon backstory to explore!
- The way S3 ended and how much of it was anyway about the angels I definitely think S4 will expand on it and introduce them
- And I think it'll possibly start right after S3 ends? I mean Raphael's here now and Solomon wants to start properly training MC so why not. And there's no other reason to leave Simeon and Luke behind than to start it up with them in the centre
- ALSO!!! ANDISJSHSKS "RAPH" given what they've showed of him he seems like the type of person to take HEAVY offense to that
- S3 did end with Raphael. Simeon called him by name.
- As much as I do want to see more Diavolo and find out more about his and more importantly Barbatos' backstories I don't think they'll turn up much? Or at least not until the last few lessons cause he left saying he had important personal issues to take care of back in the devildom
- I genuinely thought they would be shown in S3 after Solomon mentioned them and yeah damn I wanna know more about them. Also I just saw the Solomon UR+ animation card from months ago today
- I definitely want to know whose grave he was leaving flowers at
- As much as I want an angel focused season the amount of withdrawal I'd go through without the brothers is insane. I'm heavily invested in them but at least for now their arcs are at a place that can be paused
- they all got together to help Beel, a lot of Satan & Lucifer's + Belphie & Diavolo's issues have been resolved. I do want to know more about Lucifer's fear though and how he met the rest of the brothers (since they already told us Beel's story)
- With what they've said I kinda see Michael & Raphael being parallels to Diavolo & Lucifer, respectively. The somewhat childish boss and the long suffering right hand. I can see Diavolo wanting to like Michael purely because he wants to make proper peace with the Celestial Realm but also being somewhat internally pissed with him given how protective Diavolo is of the brothers and I can see Michael being sweet and friendly in return despite the fact that given everything Michael has said about demons, even in current times, he would probably be looking down on Diavolo for being 'wicked' and 'evil'. Basically I imagine them having the same kinda passive-aggressively polite relationship that Diavolo and Simeon had in S2 but somehow even less friendly
- Yes!!! Like I said the Celestial Realm gives heavy morally grey vibes and I want that to be explored more. I also need Luke's realisation that the Celestial Realm isn't always right to continue
- I have SO many Lilith HCs and I desperately need them to talk about her more. Like I understand why she's a sore topic and that Lucifer never even told them about her room in the HoL depite the fact that they've probably lived there for thousands of years and she does get brought up a bit in Belphie's fear but I need more. I also want them to explore why Belphie was so insistent with blaming the humans for Lilith's death when it was the angels that killed her, I gave my theories behind it in one of the summaries but I really need more solid answers
- I've always wanted more girls (or any girls really) and the way I was disappointed that we never got to see Lilith (I mean I understand that some players would HC her to look like their MC even though she died thousands of years before MC and they probably wouldn't share a resemblance but still) but I never considered Solomon's apprentice was a girl and I dunno why.. OKAY BUT CONSIDER GIRLS AS NEW LIS!!!!!
- I definitely think they would, it would make no sense if they didn't after how much they were hyped up and I might actually scream if they don't get designs. That being said I have very clear ideas of them in my head and I'm gonna hate having to part with them

Okay so in this post there will be all information about the Fountain Heroes and the city. @laboratory-of-yam you ask for it so here we go and I hope you will like it.
The city is pretty big and advanced in technology. It had 4 sectors of it (which also are named after the heroes.). Every sector is guarded by gatekeepers like in Train World. Sharon like Kay doesn't have a sector.
The energy of the city is obtain from the four energies (Yes I took that aspect from S2-3), water, fire, wind and sun. It passes through the pipes. They all are separated from each other, but when during the end they unites together. It also has a fountain where all 4 energies come out. They are also made in the balls in the factories without encapsulating them. You can use one of the four of them in the danger or even only two which you can mix up together. Don't mix all of them in the same time otherwise It would lead to the catastrophe.
Speaking of the fountain, yes this city also had a fountain too. It's a square shaped one and is the place where the all of the four energies are gathered without causing a catastrophe that even It surprised heroes of this city.
There are five heroes of this city: Sharon, Jose, Jack, Genie and Maxie. Their duty is to protect the city and all of the four energies. They also help others in the danger. Now, let's get to the heroes.
Sharon is a leader of this city. She's vigorous, cocky and easygoing train. Despite being small she's the fastest in her land and matches Kay's speed which is consider to be his equal. She also had Alpha Train power which she had a problem to control it so she trains it to stabilise it. Her Ato is pretty similar to Kay's one expect that her skates are rollerskates rather than Kay's rollerblades.
Jose is security guard. He is cautious, gentle and kind-hearted train. He speaks in Spanish accent like he says Si or Amigo instead of yes or friend. He seemed not to be brave, but whenever It comes to danger he isn't afraid to help others. His Ato is sort of similar to Alf one's from S2, but It's more different than Ato A. It contains a energy whips which could also paralyze the enemy, the similar units in feet and a belt with defense gadgets like energy gun since he can't have a back unit because of the crane on his back.
Jack is mechanic and guardian of the energy sources who is focused to protect them. He is resourceful, pragmatic and loyal train. The oldest one of all the heroes and one of the oldest trains like Victor and Stella. He is also introvert like Duke, Victor and even Alf. He can be a bit grumpy and has not willingness to kill traitors and also enemies, but is still a friendly to his friends and help others who are hurt. He had a energy wrist blades and amplifiers as units (They are feet and back ones).
Genie is still the same as in S2-3. Still proud, passionate and ingenious train. She is still the scientist of their land who consider herself "Genius Genie" and doesn't accept failure. She still creates useful inventions for her team. She doesn't have any units, but she also can fight with her devices like Selly fight with Nanobombs.
Maxie is also still the same again like in S2-3. A bubbly, childish and full of the energy train whose engine produce lot of energy which she use, but is too young and inexperienced to control it. That's why she is still train under Gary and Sharon control. It's unknown If she had any units (One of the episodes from S3 is titled "Maxie's special gadget" and I hope she gets any units from that one. If she gets, then I will edit that post)
Gary is their mentor and is still the same character like he was in S2-3. He is still the old scientist who gave Genie and others the good advices and likes telling the long stories which everyone expect Maxie found boring. He doesn't seemed like a fighter unlike the rest, but he tries to help in his own ways, by giving them a suggestions.
As for the railers, we don't do have them. In stead we have a train younglings who are also children too. They also work and help in delivering the energy. There are some younglings who are different from the others like some railers in the show were.
The city had their own rules, school, court, prison, cinema, stadium, hotels, training simulation, security system (energy dome protecting the city in the crisis) and even equipment for the training like discs for examples.
That's all for the heroes side. I don't know what about X family, but I had no ideas for them. Mos and Dos would be the same like in show expect they are a bit smarter while for Train X... Well I like @sonia-aquamarineson portrayal of the character what I can say. A mad scientist who want to kill everyone without any mercy. That's all for now. I will also post Fountain Heroes relationships between each other in separate post.

Brief summary of the Dream SMP S2 + S3
Hey guys, I’ve been meaning to make another helpful recap! [Here’s my summary of the 1st season of the SMP].
Just to be clear, I consider S1 to be all the events up to the Nov 16th war. S2 are the events from Nov17th-Jan 20th. S3 is the current arc
And like before, I mostly watch Tommy’s POV so I’m only going to cover his storyline. Sorry! I won’t be touching much on the Red egg, or Fundy’s story or Quackity’s stuff. You can easily follow Tommy’s story through his vods channel, as every stream is archived there. The roleplaying is much more prominent these days so this is going to be wordy but I’ll try to be as succinct as possible and keep it up to date.
=> Tubbo, now President, commits to rebuilding New L’Manburg. It’s on stilts, leaving the crater below as a memorial of the events that went down. Wilbur’s ghost appears, a friendly ghost who can only remember the good things from Wilbur’s life. He commits himself to rebuilding L’Manburg, wanting to make others happy.
Tumblr media
=> Quackity wants to go after Technoblade in revenge for what he did to L’Manburg. Technoblade has retreated to distant lands but Quackity fears he will come back again if they do not stop him. Tubbo shoots his suggestion down, emphasising that he wants peace above all. Fundy, also part of L’Manburg’s Govt, sides with Quackity though they listen to Tubbo as he’s the President.
=> Tommy, now Vice-President again, moves into his old house. He meets several of the new members of the SMP, including Philza, ConnorEatsPants and CaptainPuffy - while he’s not involved in rebuilding he does make an effort to bond with some of the new members. After so long in exile, he wants to focus on his own goals and have fun now that L’Manburg is safe.
=>BadBoyHalo organises a funeral for JSchlatt, who is now deceased. Rather than being respectful, everyone messes around, stealing his remains and making fun of the former tyrant.
=> Vikkstar and Lazarbeam also join the server. Tommy makes a bit of a bad first impression. Next another new member joins, Ranboo. Tommy invites him to go prank George’s house: they dress up in disguises and go rob it in the middle of the night, griefing it some for good measure. After Tommy logs off, Dream logs on.
=> Dream builds a huge obsidian wall around L’Manburg - notably with far harsher borders. Everyone is confused and appalled. Dream indicates that Tommy’s to blame. Dream’s using George’s house as an excuse to challenge L’Manburg’s authority by taking offense to Tommy’s grief.
=> The next day, the cabinet speaks to Tommy and, feeling attacked, he denies everything. They take him and Ranboo to court with Dream threatening to build the walls even higher if Tommy is not punished. Tommy eventually confesses when they start blaming Ranboo too and Tommy insists that Ranboo had nothing to do with it.
=> They hold a meeting. Tommy is to be punished. Tubbo tries to argue for probation where Tommy is stripped of his power and has to be on best behaviour for 3 weeks. Dream would prefer exile but listens. If Tommy were to break probation, he would double the size of the obsidian walls, trapping L’Manburg further, and have guards patrolling the walls, preventing the citizens from leaving. Tommy is outraged at this, finding Dream’s actions entirely unfair.
=> He realises that Dream doesn’t have that much on them where Tommy still has Spirit - the remains of Dream’s dead horse which he once traded Tommy’s disc to Skeppy for. He threatens Dream - take down the walls or he destroys Spirit. Dream goes silent... then doubles the obsidian walls, stating he cares about nothing anymore except Tommy’s music discs and that he’s going to trap L’Manburg forever - it can be independent but never free.
=> They have another meeting. Tommy wants to call Technoblade and fight Dream as he’s oppressing them. Quackity and Fundy agree with this plan, not wanting to comply with Dream. Tubbo refuses, wanting to avoid a badly-thought out war and agrees to exile Tommy. Everyone’s shocked. As Tubbo is the President, it was his call. Tommy is lead away by Dream, accompanied by Ghostbur. Dream promises to take down the walls, now that L’Manburg has complied.
=> Quackity says that they need to get respect back as currently they have no power. He again suggests a ‘butcher army’ where they go after Technoblade as justice for L’Manburg and, this time, Tubbo agrees.
=> Meanwhile, Tommy is lead to a faraway land; his exile forbids him from going to any already inhabited land in the SMP. Dream destroys all his things and he has to start fresh. Tommy feels betrayed by everyone despite Ghostbur’s attempts to cheer him up; they call the land Logstedshire.
=> BadboyHalo visits Tommy and gives him a new music disc - chirp. (He wants to offer more, but Dream stops him.) Dream arrives to watch Tommy, making him destroy his iron armour and follows him around while Tommy tries to mine and build his new base. Tommy makes a tent as he doesn’t want this to be his permanent home. Ghostbur gives him and Tubbo compasses pointing to each other.
=> Exile takes a toll on Tommy. His humour grows darker with more references to death. Others visit but it feels disingenuous to Tommy. He feels lonely. Dream keeps visiting and destroying his armour and other things. But Tommy appreciates the company all the same. One time he has a hallucination of Tubbo visiting. (Tubbo’s too guilty to visit.)
=> Tommy decides to have a beach party so people will visit to see him but he only tells Dream and Ghostbur and Dream secretly sabotages the invites, sending Ghostbur away. When no one but Dream shows up, Tommy gets extremely depressed and angry, destroying the bridge he built through the nether. He decides Dream must be his only friend and even convinces Dream to give him a trident.
=> Jack Manifold visits while Tommy is feeling depressed and Tommy spleefs him into lava in rage before regretting it as he realises this dark mindset is unhealthy. Jack begins to hate Tommy, secretly wanting revenge.
Tumblr media
=> Tommy is losing hope, feeling like he will die. He makes a secret room from Dream full of stuff he never wants to lose including pictures of Tubbo and other keepsakes. Dream discovers this room and grows furious, blowing up Logsteadshire and destroys all his things, his armour, his diamonds, everything. The only thing Tommy keeps safe is the pictures of Tubbo. Tommy apologises repeatedly, begging Dream to stay his friend, that he’s so lonely as Dream forbids anyone from ever visiting, destroying the nether portal.
=> Tommy nearly decides to end his life but reconsiders as he realises that Dream was just here to watch him, not be his friend. He cannot give up hope and let him win. So he runs away, and eventually ends up at Technoblade’s house in the wilderness.
=> In L’manburg Quackity sets off his Butcher army plan and they force Philza to tell them where Techno lives, placing his under house arrest for helping a known criminal. From Philza they take a compass that leads them to Techno’s house. Tubbo, Quackity, Fundy and Ranboo all fight Techno who is prepared with potions and gear. Thanks to Dream, he also has a totem of undying. Quackity threatens Techno’s horse, Carl, and Techno surrenders, giving them his weapons and armour, letting them lead him to L’Manburg where they immediately execute him, skipping a trial. Thanks to the totem, Techno lives. He escapes into the sewers with help from Dream and Punz. Quackity finds him but Techno kills him with a netherite pickaxe and flees home on Carl. He swears revenge, determined to absolute destroy L’Manburg for daring to attack him.
=> L’Manburg decides instead that their true enemy is Dream and plan a festival to catch and kill him. Ranboo visits Techno and gives him back his armour. Tubbo visits Logsteadshire and thinks Tommy is dead.
=> Tommy sees Techno who takes pity on him given that Tommy was exiled and now he’s on the run from Dream. Techno shows him his vault containing 150 wither skulls with which he wants to use to destroy L’Manburg. Tommy is horrified and doesn’t want to destroy his old home in spite of his conflicted feelings. He just wants to get his music discs back. Techno suggests working with him and he’ll help get the discs back if Tommy does some minor terrorism with him. Tommy agrees.
=> Dream turns up, looking for Tommy. Techno hides him but notes that he does owe Dream a favour for saving his life. Tommy is very confused about Dream - seeing him as both a friend and enemy, obviously emotionally vulnerable after exile. He fixates on the discs as the one goal that looks achievable. He is reliant on Techno for protection and looks to him for what to do, having no confidence of his own. Techno lets him have armour and golden apples.
=> Techno and Tommy commit acts of terrorism in L’Manburg. They kidnap Connor, torture him a bit and get Tubbo to exchange him for Techno’s crossbow. Tubbo was shocked to see Tommy was alive while Tommy calls Tubbo a monster, after hearing that he tried to kill his new friend Technoblade. He is conflicted though even as Techno shares his negative opinion on L’Manburg. Dream confronts them and Techno protects Tommy, though he offers his favour. Dream refuses, saving the favour, and leaves Tommy alone for now.
=> More terrorism, this time Techno releases a wither while Tommy threatens Fundy and Ranboo, getting back Techno’s sword and axe while accidentally scaring Fundy so much he drowns and even Techno is alarmed at his aggressiveness. Only afterwards does Tommy reflect that he’s going far too far and this might not be right. Techno says he’s beginning to respect him where originally he was useless and tells him his real plan to destroy L’Manburg. Tommy is scared. He reluctantly agrees, then backtracks and says he only wants the discs, not to hurt Tubbo but he is very uncertain.
=> The festival occurs. Tubbo and co. host it waiting for Dream to arrive. Tommy and Techno head over, seeing a scary prison Dream commissioned on the way. When they get there Dream appears but rather than take off his armour, he starts rebuilding the obsidian walls. It’s apparently because of Tommy again.
=> The community house has been blown up. Dream blames Tommy and everyone seems to believe him. He says that he considers L’Manburg responsible for Tommy’s actions unless Tubbo gives up Mellohi, which Tommy gave to him as a sign of trust.
=> Tommy appears and says that he didn’t do it. He’s hurt that Tubbo doesn’t believe him and angry at everyone. He and Tubbo and up fighting while the rest of the server watches. They’re screaming at each other until finally Tommy says that the discs were worth more than he ever was. They both freeze, digesting what he just said.
=> Tommy regrets and says to Tubbo to give up the disc to Dream, saying he’s becoming worse than everyone he hated. Then he says he’s on Tubbo’s side, on L’Manburg’s side - because all his violent behaviour was wrong and he should not let his trauma justify anything.
=> Technoblade says Tommy should come with him, that he’s siding with the enemy after all he’s done for him. Tommy’s mind is made up. Techno accepts this and demands his axe back, saying he’s no longer worthy of it. Tommy refuses, saying he decides that he is worthy. Techno leaves, saying either way he’s going to destroy L’Manburg and that Tommy’s made a mistake.
=> Dream calls Tubbo the worst president ever, explaining how he was pretending to be friends with Tubbo for it and now that he has the disc, he’s going to destroy L’Manburg with Techno tomorrow. He also says that Ranboo is a traitor. Dream leaves.
=> Tommy is in an awkward spot, but apologises to the surrounding crowd. He swears that he didn’t destroy the Community house and that everyone needs to put their differences aside for now because they don’t have time to argue or hold grudges. They need to band together to save L’Manburg from Dream and Technoblade. Settle their differences afterwards. Everyone has to work together to save the day. He believes in L’Manburg still.
=> Quackity talks to Tubbo, saying they should punish Ranboo, Tubbo refuses, saying he will not punish an innocent citizen and will not be pushed around by Quackity anymore. He’s going to be forgiving. Quackity says he’s going to leave L’Manburg for this though still agrees to help in the fight tomorrow.
=> Niki, is angry and doesn’t believe Tommy. She does not want to work with him and doesn’t care about L’Manburg anymore. She’d rather watch it crumble than work with Tommy. Fundy notes that no one likes Tommy but they should band together just while they have a common goal. The next day though, he reconsiders. Why bother trying to save a nation that’s never done anything? Why bother helping others?
=> Ranboo is frustrated saying that this whole fight is stupid and having sides caused the problems in the first place. Having a nation is the problem. He’s friends with people regardless of who they’re with. He says Dream is the enemy but is too scared to fight Dream as he’s too powerful. It’s pointless.
=> Punz says to help L’Manburg but he’s secretly a spy working with Dream to gain people’s trust.
=> Sapnap is conflicted as he doesn’t want to side against Dream. Tommy speaks to him the next day after searching the ocean for his lost fish Mars. He returns Mars to Sapnap saying he wants them to be friends and put aside all the betrayals and wars of the past. Sapnap agrees to help Tommy. Getting Sapnap to release Mars was wrong as hurting other just because you yourself was hurt is wrong, Tommy has decided. Tommy likewise forgives Tubbo for exiling him, saying it was justified and he should never have hurt Tubbo and teamed with Technoblade just because he was hurt and traumatised.
=> The war happens. Few turn up to fight. Fundy has sabotaged their supplies while Niki burns the L’Mantree. Techno starts his assault. Half a dozen Withers are released and they wreck havoc. Tommy and Tubbo fight together, helped by Sapnap, Ponk, Quackity, Punz, Jack Manifold and Eret. They are no match for Techno, Philza, Dream, a dozen withers and a huge pack of dogs.
=> Finally Dream releases tons of TNT, obliterating the nation. Tommy screams at Techno, saying how he never really considered him a friend and this was a betrayal while Techno counters that Tommy betrayed him, seeing him as a weapon rather than a person where Techno helped him and would have fought anyone for him. Tommy calls him selfish for being unable to compromise his views even a little, that he couldn’t have just let them live in peace but had to destroy what he loved.
=> Dream talks to Tommy too, saying that this was just fun for him, and wants to continue toying with Tommy. Tommy swears he won’t give up and Dream says he looks forward to doing this again. L’Manburg’s story is over, but theirs is not.
=> Quackity says to trust no one; all this was too far. Tommy agrees, planning on going after Dream and the discs once more to finish things. They agree that L’Manburg is beyond repair.
=> Ghostbur appears, he asks Phil why he did this, why he would destroy all that Ghostbur built and let his sheep, Friend, die. Phil just says he’ll understand some day. Ghostbur wants to die. Bringing back Wilbur will end his own existence he believes.
=> Tommy and Tubbo move in together, planning to fight Dream together after all he’s done to manipulate them.
=> Ranboo is anxious, he is hearing a voice that sounds like Dream but might just be a memory he’s trying to repress - the voice says that it was he who destroyed the community house. Ranboo goes to live with Philza and Techno, who offer him a home after destroying his house in L’Manburg, now just a crater.
=> Jack and Niki both want to make Tommy pay. Jack plans to get close to Tubbo in order to hurt Tommy.
=> Philza, Ranboo and Eret try to resurrect Wilbur - Tommy sees and is very conflicted as it means killing Ghostbur, who Tommy is very fond of and he’s wary of who Wilbur became. Their first attempt does not succeed but they’re going to try again.
=>Dream destroys Tommy’s house. He asks for Tommy and Tubbo to meet him. Alone. It’s about the discs.
=> Punz has been feigning loyalty to the SMP but was a spy for Dream. However, Tommy had secretly dropped off a chest of valuables in his house, realising he’s suspicious, and ask Punz to help him.
=>Tommy and Tubbo meet Dream alone on a mountain. They fight but are overwhelmed by Dream who makes Tommy choose between Tubbo and his disc. Tommy chooses Tubbo (and the disc turned out to be a fake anyway). Dream continues threatening tubbo, saying he will kill him if they don’t both comply and makes them both drop their armour and items before destroying it all.
=>Dream takes them to a secret vault he has made, containing items of attachment from everyone - it has the disc, Beckerson, Friend the sheep and spaces for more things he wants to collect, such as Sam’s dog Fran, Punz’s shulker box and Techno’s horse, Carl. He also adds the axe of Peace to the wall, which he had taken from Tommy. He then reveals he needs Tommy to be alive and get attached to things and make others get attached so he can collect those things and gain power. Dream has removed all attachments form his own life and believes taking others is the way to gain absolute control. For that he needs Tommy.
=>Dream plans to kill Tubbo and throw Tommy in an inescapable prison. There’s nothing they can do. Then Punz arrives, having heeded Tommy’s message, brining with him the cavalry as a dozen other players come with him, such as Sapnap, Eret, Jack, Niki, Sam and Quackity. They protect Tommy and Tubbo, leaving Dream in trouble.
=>Tommy goes up to Dream, makes him drop his armour as he’d done to Tommy so many times and gets Dream to reveal how he blew up the community house and his manipulative plans, even talking about his exile. Then Tommy kills Dream twice more, (taking two lives as he’d once done to Tommy) and considers killing him a final time so they’ll be free forever.
=>Dream begs him to let him go and offers the secret to bringing someone back to life - which means they could bring back Wilbur. Tommy reluctantly agrees and Sam and Sapnap take him and throw Dream in the inescapable prison.
=>Finally free, Tommy and Tubbo return home. They have the discs back ad listen to them at the bench. Wilbur talks to them - the real Wilbur from beyond the grave, apparently briefly able to communicate after their brush with death, not Ghostbur. He asks about them and they tell him how they want to bring him back. Wilbur is angry, having been content with death. They’re not quite sure what they might have done...
[This is considered the end of Season 2, the disc saga finale being the conclusion. What follows is season 3].
=> The next day, Tommy visits Dream in prison. It’s an impressive structure. Dream is rather subdued and Tommy asks him to write some novels for him. Now that he’s free from Dream, Tommy decides to start a new project for himself: building a hotel so when war breaks out and people inevitably lose their homes, they can stay at his hotel. With all the blown up buildings, the SMP needs some new central buildings, he feels.
=>Tommy asks Sam to build the hotel for him. Sam agrees but asks Tommy to pay him and also to do tasks for him. He becomes a new character, ‘Sam Nook’ like Tom Nook from animal crossing and even speaks in animalish while Tommy does various tasks for him.
=>Meanwhile, red vines have been growing throughout the SMP. They come from a mysterious red egg. They’ve actually been around for a while, but only now is Tommy, and many other characters, becoming aware of this. The egg had spread through the SMP and mind-controlled Bad and later Skeppy, but they’d managed to contain and stop it the first time. Bad got infected again, (because it had changed Skeppy and he wanted to be with him) and so he and Antfrost are now helping it spread once more.
=>Tommy investigates the egg, and finds he seems immune to its mind-controlling effects - most people like the egg or seem to hate it but he’s so far completely neutral and isn’t too concerned with stopping it. When Tubbo goes near it, it makes him cry. When Sam becomes ensnared by the egg, Tommy and Captain Puffy work together and help save him from it.
=> In Snowchester, Jack and Tubbo have been working on building nukes and decide to test them. Jack plans to kill Tommy by luring him to the test site, with Niki’s help. Jack and Niki’s plan nearly succeeds but they don’t get Tommy to the sit fast enough thanks to Tommy’s tendency to chatter and his distractable nature.
=> Tommy is unaware that they tried to kill him though he does feel slightly suspicious of Niki and how close he was to dying. Niki and Jack are disappointed with their failure but try to come up with another plan to kill Tommy.
=>Jack tries to get closer to Tommy by helping him at his hotel. Tommy begins to get suspicious of Jack’s odd behaviour. Meanwhile the egg is still spreading.
=> Sam Nook orders Tommy to go and destroy it and when Tommy goes over, he can hear the egg talking. Tommy nearly starts to destroy it but changes his mind as he doesn’t want to start another big war (many love the egg) - he just wants peace. He decides to take a piece of the egg to place in his hotel, hopefully contained to try and attract egg loyalists to his hotel.
=>The hotel is finished, ready for a grand opening. Tommy decides to visit Dream in prison one last time. He wants closure as he’s healing and doesn’t want Dream in his life anymore.
=>During Tommy’s visit to the prison, TNT can be heard going off in the prison. It seems there’s a problem. It’s suspected to be an attempt to breakout Dream (though the cell is secure) and the prison is put on lockdown with Tommy still trapped inside the cell with Dream. He’s stuck! Dream is very happy about this for now he has Tommy with him.
=>Sam is unable to work out what’s wrong with the prison. Until he finds the culprit he is reluctant to let Tommy out in case it allows Dream to escape. Meanwhile, Jack hears Tommy’s trapped and is ecstatic, realising his great enemy is trapped. He claims the hotel for himself. Much of the rest of the server seems unaware that Tommy is in trouble.
=>After a week, Tommy is angry and frustrated but remains resistant to Dream’s attempts to be friendly, refusing to let himself get manipulated again. Dream beings up the revive book and how he can bring back the day, and Tommy declares it a lie. Dream punches Tommy to death, which takes his last canon life.
=>Sam is devastated. He shares the news with others. Tubbo’s in denial. Jack’s reaction is interesting - initially celebrating but then he feels angry and cheated and empty and realises he’s not sure he wanted Tommy dead. Killing Tommy was the only thing that gave him purpose and now he has nothing. He burns down Jack Manifoldland, and continues with the BigInnit Hotel, still feeling conflicted. Quackity is also shocked by the news, stunned that Tommy could die. Ranboo becomes very pessimistic, feeling like no one on the server cares even as he blames himself for not caring. He’s not sure how much Tommy cared about him but starts to realise it was more than he thought when he finds the flower he first gave to Tommy saved in a chest - Ranboo had thought he’d thrown it away and never cared. Puffy is devastated, viewing the death as a personal failure. Bad and Ant celebrate, showing how much the egg has influenced them. Eret is shocked too, he’s sad as he’d always highly respected Tommy. Even Foolish is saddened though he hadn’t known Tommy well.
=>Tommy speaks to Wilbur in the afterlife, which seems to be a void. Time seems to flow differently there, its much slower. Wilbur still seems fond of Tommy and they keep each other company though Wilbur’s mindset remains a little worrying. He says how he and Tommy were both bad for the server and its better off without them. Tommy hates it in the afterlife, but Wilbur seems fine with it. Schlatt and Mexican Dream are also in the afterlife.
=>Dream resurrects Tommy. Tommy claims over a month has passed for him but for Dream its only been two days. H’s very disoriented. They are still both in the prison and no one else knows that Dream brought back Tommy. Tommy’s alive again but still trapped with Dream. He describes being dead as torturous and he’s sensory deprived.
=>Dream wants to kill Tommy more to learn more about Death, to Tommy’s horror. Dream calls himself a god, cause he can control death and Tommy feels a duty to kill him for the information to resurrect someone is in Dream’s head. But Tommy can’t, for he fears he’d be trapped alone in prison and he’s unsure if Sam would let him out after he killed Dream. Tommy can’t bear to be alone even as he hates what Dream’s doing and planning.
=>Dream intends to resurrect Wilbur. Tommy begs him not to, suggesting that Wilbur would be worse for the server in some way, that bringing him back would mean doom. Dream ignores his warnings, enjoying the power he possesses.
=> Sam finally lets Tommy out of prison and he’s doing badly. He’s afraid of taking damage and feels lost, not sure how to connect with anyway as he feels like they’re treating him differently. Sam is clearly hugely regretful but Tommy no longer trusts him. In fact, he wants a new warden for the prison, not feeling like Sam is capable of it anymore. Tommy finds out about Tubbo’s marriage to Ranboo and feels jealous and left out, seeing how his friends have moved on.
=> Jack is shocked to see him alive and they get into an argument, with Jack refusing to give back the hotel. Jack tries to confront him on everything, like how he wanted to kill Tommy and Tommy does not want to have that conversation at all, hating speaking about death so they leave on bad terms, Tommy not acknowledging Jack’s anger and Jack more angry than ever. He wants Tommy gone once more. He also decides to try and become prison Warden as well
=>Tommy has made it his goal to kill Dream because he’s certain he will escape and destroy everything he loves if they do nothing. He tells Quackity about the revive book.
=>Quackity meets Schlatt’s ghost in an underground cave, where the ghost is trapped after a cryptic message leading him there. He makes a deal with the ghost which might involve resurrection. He then goes to Sam and convinces him to let him in the prison to torture Dream. Sam agrees and every day Quackity visits the prison to torture Dream until he tells him about the secrets of revival.
=> Tommy visits Dream’s bunker from the disc saga finale, to see if the cow he saw was actually Henry, his old pet who died, now that he know the revive book is real. He and Ranboo carefully take both and Friend out of the vault. Then as they’re leading them back Tommy pulls too hard on the leash and Henry dies for a second time. Tommy is thrown into grief once more, feeling defeated and once again clings to the idea of killing Dream.
=> Tommy and Tubbo prepare once more. Tubbo shows Tommy how to build TNT cannons as they plan a way into prison. This is traumatic for Tommy and he is worried he’ll have a panic attack in prison, wrecking his plans so he tries out some exposure therapy, visiting some places of past trauma, including Logstedshire and a replica of Eret’s button room and an obisidian room they build to replicate the prison cell Tommy died in. Tommy find it all extremely stressful though he seems to forgive Eret after seeing his apology in the button room. The prison is hardest as he lasts no more than 30 seconds.
=>With invisibility potions prepared by Tubbo, Tommy sneaks into the prison, following Ghostbur who is visiting Dream (as part of Tommy’s plan) this goes well at first, Tommy making it all the way to Dream’s cell before he’s caught by Sam before he gets close enough to kill Dream. Sam is furious as Ghostbur is left beside Dream, in danger with Tommy helpless to do anything to save him.
=> Dream kills Ghostbur. Wilbur is revived, appearing in the spot he died. Sam tells Tommy he will kill him if he ever goes near the prison again, accusing him of causing this. Wilbur is happy to be alive, after being trapped for 13 years in limbo. He is thankful for Dream for reviving him while Tommy is less than happy to see him alive. Wilbur goes off to plan as stories of his revival spread around the SMP.
--------------
And that’s everything so far! This is quite Tommy-focused I realise. That’s simply the story I’m following. (Sorry about the bias though.) Other parts of the SMP are interesting and I do encourage you to check out other creators as well. Badboyhalo has quite the interesting plot arc of his own, involving a Red egg that corrupts people while Karl is doing one-shot episodes called Tales of the SMP and many other characters have been doing their own thing.
If anyone has any further questions, feel free to ask! I can probably elaborate on most things or point out the relevant streams etc.

Hi I hope you're doing well. So I'm new to Tumblr because I want it to get on a site that doesn't have so many toxic antis on it. So far I haven't ran into any here which is a good sign and people have been really friendly which I love. But I have to say your blog and your Handon haven blog is like my new safe haven for all things Landon and Handon. I just love your gifs and thoughts.
Also I apologize if you have already answered something like this before. But ever since the start of s2 this has been on my mind. But why do people hate Landon so much? I really don't want to believe it's all because of a ship. And their reasons for hating him and saying that he's "a bad boyfriend" makes zero sense. All the reasons they have are him having basic human emotions. He gets upset when he has every right to be he's a horrible person and bad boyfriend. He goes to take a walk to avoid a fight or after a fight so that means "he's leaving her once again." I think the one I've seen the most is how back in s1 when Landon found out Hope has been lying to him about his mom. And people say "he didn't have to ask her about that right then. And he sure didn't have to walk away either." I think the only way I could agree with that is if Landon found out about hours ago and then waited until that moment to say something. But the fact is he found out only moments before hand. He was clearly hurt and upset and after finding out something like that I don't think him or anyone else could have waited at ask about that. And once he was showing basic human emotions. So it makes perfect sense that he would go take a moment for himself. But there's no doubt in my mind that if Hope actually cared about that pageant and wasn't just doing it for Lizzie, that he would have stayed even though he was upset and did the pageant with her. And the list only goes on like that, Landon shows emotions he has bad person and boyfriend. When in fact it's the exact opposite. I swear the way antis try to make Landon sound you would think there was an episode that came out that only antis got to see where Landon commits mass murder, cheats on Hope with dozen different women while drowning puppies for kicks of it.
In 3 seasons the worse thing he did was unknowingly stole a knife and then lied about it because he was scared. That's it that's the only bad thing he's done. Everything else was him doing everything he could to help while being there for Hope when no else was. Also people are so quick to say that Landon is a bad boyfriend but no one talks about the few times that Hope wasn't to best girlfriend(or they take those times and twist them to make Landon the bad guy). Like her lying to him about his mom, or her refusing to teach him how to fight because the monsters were back when that would be the perfect time for him to learn how to defend himself. Or her trying to send Landon to the prison world with Raph because the necromancer was back and planning something. Let me just say I'm not coming at Hope I love her to bits and I know her reasons for doing what she did was rooted in her fears and her not wanting Landon to get hurt. And I can understand that completely(but at the same time not really her best moments even if her heart was in the right place)and glad that at the beginning of s3 she was starting to let Landon to help and do more and not trying to put him in a cage so much(I hope I made sense with that one and that you understand what I'm trying to say with the Hope part. If not sorry). I just don't understand the Landon or Handon hate for that matter. Yes they have fights and disagreements like every other couple. But nothing that would warrant this much hate. These two love each other so much and would do anything for each other and they generally make each other better and happier. You can just see it when they're around each other and away from each other. And if im being honest they're one of the healthiest relationships in the TVDU. Okay there's so much more I could add and say. But I'm going to end this here before this ask gets way to long.
Once again sorry if you already answered something like this before. I know it could get annoying answering the same thing over again.
Hi! Thank you, I hope you’re doing well too! And that’s understandable, it’s way better here than other places, like Twitter. There can still be some hate and negativity at times, but for the most part, it’s pretty minimal. But wow, really? Aww, I’m so glad! Thank you so much!! That means a lot. ❤️
I don’t think I’ll ever understand why people hate Landon so much. I think all the hate started mostly because of ships, but has just grown from there. I also feel like people hate on him because that’s become the popular thing to do. But yeah, their reasons for hating him really don’t make any sense, there’s just no good reason to hate on him at all. Exactly, because he has feelings and has been affected by very serious things, he’s not a good person or boyfriend?? It’s so obvious that they just don’t think that Landon’s feelings matter. The times that he’s walked away were when he was really hurt, but I guess he’s not allowed to feel hurt or take care of himself? Landon isn’t one to fight, he goes to take time to calm down and to think. And it’s not like he does it all the time (despite what some people say), it’s happened a few times in extreme situations.
But yes, people have often brought up 1x14, and they don’t even try to see Landon’s side of things. People really think he should’ve waited to ask Hope? Yeah, exactly, he had just barely found out about it, how could he not have brought it up? Imagine having the kind of life that he had, where he had grown up abused and without a family or home, didn’t know who his parents were, but had that picture of Seylah and always wanted answers. He had wanted to meet her his whole life and know why she had given him up, because that affected his entire life. And then to find out that he had met her and gotten answers only to have it all wiped away? And that Hope had been lying to him about it after the issues him lying to her about the knife had caused? And how they had agreed to be honest with each other? If people can’t understand how that must have made him feel and why he was so emotional that he had to leave, and think that he should’ve just stayed at a pageant that neither him or Hope wanted to participate in, then idk what to say. And true, it’s possible if he thought Hope actually cared about the pageant that he might have forced himself to get through it. But I don’t think he should’ve been expected to either way, he was obviously very hurt and overwhelmed. He shouldn’t have had to stay when he was feeling all of that. Because it was still about his mother and his life and being lied to vs. a pageant. And Hope shouldn’t have had to stay either when she was feeling so upset and panicked too, it was Roman who convinced her to stay when she didn’t have to, which just made it worse.
And Landon’s reasons for walking away the other times were just as valid. Hope doesn’t tell him who she is for months, after he’d been struggling while she was gone, had been killing himself, and was still in love with her but didn’t know it. And then realized she’d let him be with Josie, which also might have made him question how Hope felt about him? That all must have been very shocking, but antis think he’s not allowed to be upset? Same with when he lost his brother/best friend and his powers all in one day, turning his life upside down and leaving him scared about his future with Hope. He takes time for himself in these situations and people are outraged. It’s so clear that they don’t care about his feelings at all. If he reacts to anything, even though his reactions are perfectly reasonable, they attack him. Seriously though, idk what show they’ve been watching, because they really do make him sound as if he’s done absolutely horrible things with the way they talk about him.
So true, and another reason he lied about the knife was because he felt influenced by it as well. Because he had said it was like “the knife wanted me to steal it and then it wanted me to lie.” So not even that was his fault. Exactly, he’s not done anything bad. And he’s not perfect, but he does always have good intentions and tries to do the right thing. And yep, he’s been there for Hope more than anyone too.
And I agree when it comes to Hope. I love her too, but she’s not perfect either, but no one says anything about it. They seriously do just twist everything to make Landon look bad while not acknowledging when Hope hasn’t necessarily made the best decisions. And yeah, I understand her reasons for all that she did too and that she just wanted to protect Landon. She had good intentions as well, and was also scared, so I totally get that. But some of what she’s done hasn’t always been the best for Landon, like with her lying about Seylah, or her not wanting to train Landon to fight, which would’ve been very beneficial to him (especially this last season when he was in the prison world). But yes, she has been able to handle that sort of stuff better and has let Landon do more over time, which is good. And you did make sense, I do understand what you’re saying. So I can see both Hope’s and Landon’s side of things. It just bugs me when people only ever choose to see Hope’s side while ignoring Landon’s.
Agreed, I’ll never understand the Landon or Handon hate either. And yeah, they have disagreements, but they also grow from those disagreements. Like every time they’ve had one, they talk things out and just get stronger. So it’s helped them to communicate and understand each other better and know how to move forward together. And exactly, they both make each other so happy and they bring out the best in each other. And ikr, they are one of the healthiest TVDU couples, that’s why it baffles me when people have such strong reactions when it comes to Handon, and will call them toxic, etc. Were they not around for TVD/TO? Have they not watched them? Because if they’re so bothered by such minor things with Handon, you’d think they’d explode if they saw what happened with some of the other couples from the other shows.
And it’s fine! I’ve posted about all kinds of stuff, so I may have talked about some of this before, but can’t remember tbh haha.

LoD season 3 rewatch Thoughts
kate's undercover had no right to be so successful this season, she was about as subtle as a fire extinguisher through a glass office door brick through a window. it's hilarious to me that on paper, this was her best undercover op - it was the only one in the show's history where nobody figured it out!
it blows my mind every time i remember that danny waldron was only in one episode of the show. one. he's easily one of the most important non-trio characters. and he was in one episode. his influence to episode count ratio is up there with jackie lav's.
this was really the first season where the AC-12 office itself became a character. won't elaborate
ted saying "none of my people would ever plant evidence" while dot was running around putting phones in steve's gym bag is almost as funny as steve saying "this'll be good for me" before AC-12 thoroughly ruined his life
"the jury obviously thinks i must've shagged you into conspiring to kill a protected witness" "steven!" everything about the Truth and Reconciliation scene in 3x04 is absolutely A fucking star.
dot's line about how steve shouldn't be carrying a firearm because "this isn't the bronx" is funny as fuck in light of later seasons, when this mid-sized midlands town appears to have a violent crime rate on par with baltimore in the 90s
lindsay denton continues to be the GOAT. "because i'm a police officer" is, without question, my favourite scene in the whole show. i'm still emo about the fact that nobody went to her funeral. AC12 would be nowhere without her. her ghost would've been a better AC12 commanding officer than S5 Ted.
the repeated references to the real-life operation midland didn't age too well. (cw child sexual abuse)
i loved the scenes with lindsay and steve investigating danny's list. they are the dysfunctional buddy cop duo we deserve.
i wasn't expecting to laugh out loud in 3x06 and then we had individual reaction shots of everyone in steve's interview listening to the lindsay tape. even the lawyer.
i'm still not sure what exactly made kate clock dot's involvement. i'm torn on whether she went to AC-3 for undercover authorisation purely because the CO was a woman (and therefore not a mason, because she was investigating ted) or if she went there because AC-9 was dot's former unit and she was investigating him. we know she was suspicious of dot before lindsay's murder because she went to his flat and he saw he wasn't there. i'm tempted to think she was suspicious of all three of them; hastings was being oddly friendly and doing masonic handshakes with fairbanks, she just found out steve had lied about his involvement with lindsay which destroyed her trust in him, and dot failed to pass on her request for the second post-mortem and then pressured her not to look further into morton's statement about the caddy while pointing the finger at steve.
CW: child sexual abuse every time steve interviews someone about the sands view child abuse, we get long lingering shots of steve's expression. and then when steve visits dale roach in the home he's angrier than i think we've ever seen him with a suspect - same again three seasons later when steve interviews fairbank in prison. does anyone else wonder if jed was leaving crumbs to imply steve was abused or that there's something in steve's past that makes this a particularly difficult issue for him? on one hand, steve tells joe he had a nice childhood with a loving family. OTOH, when steve gets worked up about a case, it's usually because it has a personal connection to his own past (he got quite worked up about danny waldron's team lying to cover up the shooting of an unarmed man, and he was very determined to prove michael farmer was being framed)
it's "moaning about the trajectory of the writing" time:
as much as i think S3 was part of the LoD Golden Age, it was definitely the beginning of the end of the more authentic dialogue and rapport between characters. the trend of the season premieres being full of extremely clunky exposition began here also. aaaaand just as i wrote that, maneet appeared and made her charming little "get you a lead" joke. miss you babe </3
in my opinion, LoD at its most interesting was never about "which of these four characters is The Bad Guy?" it was about "how is this guilty but morally ambiguous person going to deal with the mess they've gotten into?" i feel like we gradually saw less and less of that as the show moved towards a traditional whodunnit with the introduction of balaclava man and H.
S3 really was Peak Ted for me; S5 and S6 sadly made me forget how much i loved his character. his "whole bloody barrel" speech to gill in 3x06 remains another one of my favourite moments on the show.
S3 was the peak of Kate the Brilliant Detective, just like S2 was the peak of Kate the Emotion-Having Human Being.
