Nico teaching his underworld family how to play D&D and hosting small one-night sessions for them every few weeks and his favourite thing as DM is to tell Hermes that he cannot play a rogue, or bard.
Oh, and Hazel likes to play a rogue but she intentionally plays in a way that causes Hermes an aneurysm because she thinks it's funny to watch him scream into his hands four times a night.

Hadestown headcanons
• Eurydice would heavily relate to Meg from Hercules.
• To expand a little on that- When Eurydice first meets Orpheus, she thinks that his love for her is only physical attraction, because she’s met too many men who just wanted to use her. When she finally decides to go home with him, they end up staying up all night talking and getting to know each other better. She learns that he’s nothing like the men she’s known, and that he’s a genuinely sweet, compassionate, adorable guy who just wants to help people. This is part of what leads her to fall for him.
• After the events of the show, Persephone tries her best to remind Eurydice of her life before Hadestown, in an attempt to make sure she never forgets. In fact, she does this with all of the workers, although sadly, it only sometimes works.
• Orpheus would be the “Anyway, here’s Wonderwall” type.
• In between his process of writing his song about Hades and Persephone, Orpheus would also write songs about Eurydice.
• Orpheus and Eurydice would read the Percy Jackson series together, and compare the differences between the gods in the books vs the gods they know. They would also compare themselves to Percy and Annabeth.
• Persephone would be the type to initiate karaoke nights. She has no trouble convincing Orpheus to perform, although getting Eurydice and Hades to do so is a more difficult task.
• Ever since rekindling their relationship, Hades and Persephone dance a lot more often.

I always forget to add one thing or another to posts, but I'm dead that I forgot one of the most important parts of my devotion and connection to Hermes.
I'm a Hermes devotee, of course I genuinely listen and absorb what people are saying in a meaningful way. Voices are meant to be heard, never ignored and feelings should always be expressed without being focused only on me. Giving attention to others in a meaningful way is a highlight of my life.

I just thought of some great Empires s2 angst.
So imagine another calamity happened, and Lizzie is the only one to actually survive(because she’s a cat and has 9 lives) and so she’s looking for other survivors, but the only person she can find is Hermes. So she now has to break the news to Hermes that his parents are gone. She brings him back to Animalia, where together they rebuild. Eventually, the ghost of Pix comes to also help rebuild because his whole thing is recovering ruins. Eventually Lizzie dies, as she can’t live forever, but Pix and Hermes continue to protect Animalia and share the story of the founder and Mayor of the great empire.
At some point, Hermes ventures out for a little while so that he can bring any survivors or supplies from the other empires. The only things he finds are the creatures that belonged to the empires, but he was able to retrieve some things from Stratos. This is before Lizzie dies, so when she is met with Hermes returning with horses, cats, frogs, dogs, llama, and much more, she decides to build a place of tribute to Hermes, not a place of worship per se, but a place where even if he disappears for a long amount of time, he will be remembered.
Eventually, the animals that were brought to Animalia become more like the other inhabitants, and the empire expands to all the ruins, slowly building them back up.
Many generations have passed at this point, the founders are long gone, but their descendants still stand. The world may have fallen to ruin, but the creatures of the land did not give up.
There are still stories of their great savior, her memory immortalized in books, paintings, and a statue at the center of the new world. The only evidence of humans left is Pix, even though he is incorporeal. The last god alive, Hermes, tells the tales of the past, along with his not-quite-undead companion, as they search the lands for new life, in hopes to keep the world alive.

so. hermes, as the one who guides the deceased to the underworld, means he's had to/is going to have to do that for each and every one of his kids at one point or another. right?

Seeing people use the idiotic discourse around Hades 2's version of Hestia to start claiming that the game's depiction of Aphrodite 'has a man face' is just making me ask that one question again:
'Do men even like women?'

Honestly, I'm surprised Rick hasn't made a Romani demigod yet, considering that we barely have any representation and our comic book rep was taken from us. Rick, get on it, and you have my full permission to make them a child of Hermes, because I, for one, find that hilarious. (and literally almost did that with my Roma OC) or make them a newcomer to Floor 19.
Or, be a baller and make Percy or Annabeth Roma It'd work, like it'd really work. Do it Rick.
