With a natural 20 on your Insight check, you fixate your gaze on your companion and a sudden unease washes over you. Something about the way their eyes linger and the subtle nuances in their demeanour trigger an unsettling sensation in the pit of your stomach. Your instincts scream at you, and it dawns on you – this is not your friend; it's mimicking them.
A wave of dread envelops you, casting a shadow over your previous trust. A foreboding sense of danger settles in, do you run?

6th of December, 2015, the day of frozen fog. The lake was socked in with fog so I went to the top of a hill to watch the first light of dawn, turned red by the fog, lighting up the ridge. The original caption: “A skein of geese in the air and wild turkeys on the hill, frost, fog, and the red of first light on the ridge.”
