creation in detail.
if you took a look at all the things around you, all the things which are close to you right now or within eyesight, do you recall imagining all of these things? as in, do you remember imagining each one of these manifestations individually? thinking of them to their very detail? i don’t think so.
everything is created.
all of these things surrounding you are a creation of you. everything is a manifestation, regardless of conscious or subconscious origin. everything was once imagined, once thought of, once contemplated. so, why would you think that you are asking for too much? why would your mind not be able to deal with or handle your desires? it’s impossible for you to burden, confuse or irritate your imagination.
it exists already.
speaking of manifestation and desires, to desire something means that you can conceptualise it. you can think if it, therefore you can imagine it. to think means to imagine. and you think aka imagine all the time! additionally, since any desire represents a possible state you can shift to, it does also represent a possible reality — one, out of infinite realities. and as you know: creation is finished. it’s done. it exists already.
infinite realities exist.
because it exists already, because creation is finished, that means that there are INFINITE realities of yours. in some of them, you don’t have any of your desires. in others, you have one desire or a couple. and in another reality or other realities, you have ALL the things you wish to have or be. there is a reality that represents your goal. this is where you want to shift to. that reality reflects the state that you want to occupy!
all things are possible.
the law doesn’t care if you desire to have one thing, two things, five things or a hundred things. since you can imagine anything you'd like, since all realities exist, you can also manifest anything you'd like. there are no rules on what you can manifest, how long it'll take and how much you can have or be. it is up for you to decide. and in imagination, all things are possible.
and most importantly, manifesting several desires doesn't need to equal a lot of effort. you don't need to "work" hard in order to manifest. imagining should never require too much!

I was joking a while back that the actor they have playing KDJ for the orv movie was too handsome for him and a friend who's read orv was like "KDJ is actually secretly attractive!!" And I just felt my soul leave my body right then

Okay. Buckle in. I'm gonna finally actually address and explain and theorize about this whole...thing.
I'm not gonna cite any exact chapters cause it's like 11:30 and I've got an 8 hour drive in the morning but I'll at least make an approximate reference to where certain things are mentioned. Also, this post is just my personal interpretation for a good bit of it, but it's an interpretation I feel very solid about, so do with that what you will. Moving on to the meat of things:
There is one (1) instance in the web novel that I know of which describes specific features of Kim Dokja (especially ones other people notice). This takes place when members of KimCom are trying to make Kim Dokja presentable to give his speech at the Industrial Complex (after it's been plopped down on Earth). This is when they start really paying attention and focusing on Kim Dokja's appearance since they're putting makeup on him; I still don't think they can interpret his whole face, but they can accurately pick out and retain more features than usual. If I remember correctly they reference him having long eyelashes, smooth skin, and soft hair. These features can be viewed as (stereotypically) attractive.
Certain parts of the fandom have taken this scene and run with it at a very surface level, without realizing (or without acknowledging at the very least) that this scene is not about how Kim Dokja looks. This is, in part, due to not realizing or acknowledging why Kim Dokja's face is "censored" in the first place, and what that censoring actually means. I think it's also possible that some people are assuming the censorship works like a physical phenomena rather than an altered perception.
I'll address that last point first. The censorship of Kim Dokja's features is not something as simple as a physical phenomena. It's not a bar or scribble or mosaic over his face. If that were true it'd be very obvious to anyone looking at him that his face is hidden. But his face is not hidden to people. They can look at him and see a face. If they concentrate on his eyes, they can see where he's looking. They know when he's frowning or grinning. They see a face loud and clear. But what face are they seeing? Because it's not really his, whatever they're seeing.
No one quite agrees on what he really looks like. And if they try and think about what he looks like, they can't recall. Or if they do, it's vague, or different each time. We notice these little details throughout the series. Basically, Kim Dokja's face is cognitively obscured. Something - likely the Fourth Wall, though I can't recall if this is ever stated outright - is interfering with everyone's ability to perceive him properly. This culminated in him feeling off to others; and since they don't even realize this is happening, they surmise that he is "ugly."
Moving on to the other point about what the censorship means: To be blunt, the censorship of his face is an allegory for his disconnect from the "story" (aka: real life, and the real people at his side). The lifting - however slight - of this censorship represents him becoming more and more a part of the "story" (aka: less disconnected from the life he is living and the people at his side). The censorship's existence and lifting can represent other things - like dissociation or depersonalization or, if you want to get really meta, the fact that he is all of our faces at once - but that's how I'd sum up the main premise of it. (The Fourth Wall is a larger part of the dissociation allegory, but that's for another post).
So you see, them noticing his individual features isn't about the features. It's not about the features! It doesn't matter at all which features got listed. Because they could describe any features whatsoever and it would not change the entire point of the scene. Because the point isn't what he looks like. The point is that they can truly and clearly see these features. For the first time. They are seeing parts of him for the first time. Re-read that sentence multiple times, literally and metaphorically. What does it mean to see someone as they are?
This is an extremely significant turning point dressed up as a dress-up scene.

P.S. / Additionally, I'm of the opinion that Kim Dokja is not handsome, and he is not ugly. He is not pretty, and he is not ghastly. Not attractive, nor unattractive. Kim Dokja isn't any of these things. More importantly, Kim Dokja can't be any of these things. The entire point of Kim Dokja is that you cannot pick him out of a crowd; he is the crowd. He's a reader. He's the reader. Why does he need to be handsome? Why must he be pretty? Why is him being attractive necessary or relevant? He doesn't, he doesn't, it's not. He is someone deeply deeply loved and irreplaceable to those around him, and someone who cannot even begin to recognize or accept that unless it's through a love letter masquerading as a story he can read. He is the crowd, a reader, the reader. He's you, he's me. He's every single one of us.

everything is self.
self must be expressed, meaning, everything around you is only an expression, an embodiment of who you are within. but what if i told you it’s not the desire alone that we want to have?
manifesting the version of self.
when we desire something, when we have a desire, we are never aiming for the desire itself. we are aiming for the version of ourselves who HAS or IS what we desire. for example, it’s never "i want to have a partner!", it’s "i want to be the version of myself who has a partner!".
it's always all about self.
i didn’t understand this in the beginning. for instance, to me "i have a perfect boyfriend" and "my boyfriend is perfect" seemed like the exact same statement. however, they're not. did i want to have a boyfriend? yes, i did. but what i didn’t expect is that i would have to CHANGE from within in order to be in a relationship. my boyfriend (hypothetically speaking) wouldn’t only be MY boyfriend, i would also be HIS girlfriend. naturally, manifesting a boyfriend would mean for me to become the version of myself who is in a relationship with someone. so, i'm not manifesting him (the desire) alone, i'm actually manifesting MYSELF to be with him (a certain version of myself).
shifting versions of self.
thus, manifesting, actually (!), isn’t about you getting thing A or thing B. it’s you BECOMING the version of self who has thing A or B. manifestation is all about shifting your state, shifting your feeling, shifting your reality. and a shift of reality can only occur if there is a shift in SELF. you won’t change once you go from not having thing A to having it, you have to change mentally BEFORE you can even have thing A (physically).
aim for self, not desire.
this brings me back to the same piece of advice as usually: dismiss the 3D. disregard it. don’t care about circumstances and what it may show you. we can’t change the state that’s already being expressed on the outside. and your goal isn’t getting something in the physical world. we know that you want the feeling of it. you want to experience the feeling of the wish fulfilled. and newsflash, you can fulfill yourself WITHOUT needing the physical world to conform to your desires! change happens within and so does manifestation.
"it's never about getting what you desire, it's always about becoming the one who already has it."
so, what do you do? you embody the version of yourself who has your desire. start viewing yourself with your desires. connect yourSELF with whatever you desire to either be or have.

Ever since realising that Joey referring to Jaskier as sapiosexually connecting with Radovid was likely 100% intentional, I've literally been losing my shit over the potential implications...
Like... new headcanon!
What if Jaskier has always approached the act of having sex with someone else as a form of performance art, driven by his desire to please his "audience", and making other people passionately respond to what he's doing for them?
Like... what if what normally sexually interests him isn't so much inspired by the other person, but more by the general idea of being wanted, needed, and the anticipation of the positive feedback he might get from sexually interacting with them.
He readily experiences primary aesthetic attraction towards other people, finds them interesting, becomes curious about them, and feels instantly affectionate towards them; but he's not sexually aroused by / attracted to them, per say.
He really wants to make them feel good, and bask in that sense of intimacy, togetherness and praises he receives from being sexually involved with them (yeah, because he's that good at figuring out what pleases them, and offering it to them).
And somehow, audience response/participation tends to really inform how good or "smooth" he is when it comes to his ability to seduce someone, and convince them to become sexually intimate with him in the first place?
For example...
So... what if Jaskier is a bard and an artist through and through? Not just on stage, but in the sheets as well?
Turning sex into poetry and something very deliberate, where it's all about a sense of artistic expression, and a pure melody of various physical sensations and emotions!
Sexually? Jaskier is an artist, a creative, a free thinker... All is fair!
But it's not something that he usually feels any urge or need to engage in based on the way someone else inspires him any sudden desire to have sex with them specifically.
He loves his sexual partners, he's intrigued by them, he wants to connect with them - even if that connection lasts but a night - and sex allows him to do that.
But maybe he has no idea that sex might be experienced differently by others.
Maybe he just thinks they're like really really REALLY expressive and appreciative of the sex itself, or something, whenever he notices how hungrily some of them appear to throw themselves at him, or at each other.
Also, I've somehow always found it a bit weird how Jaskier seems to fully remain clear minded during Yennefer's magical orgy.
Yennefer comments on how Geralt seems to be immune to her spell, as if it's some kind of big deal!
But then, there's Jaskier...
He just waves at them as if he's totally unaffected by everyone else fucking each other around him, and being surrounded by a bunch of naked bodies having sex...
And/or looks like he's not quite comfortable with the way someone's hand is moving closer to his crotch at some point...
Grant it, he's slowly being suffocated to death by a Djinn's magic, and likely has other priorities than sex in mind!
But that's just the thing...
Isn't Yennefer's spell supposed to override people's ability to think rationally or fully understand what's happening? Everyone snaps out of it looking confused, and poor Jaskier just basically passes out, but he's never once looked like he stopped looking at what was happening around him from an outsider's P.O.V.
Whenever the camera cuts to him, he seems to be sharing the same reality as Geralt and Yennefer, not the kind of sexual haze everyone else appears to be happily trapped in.
Would being affected by the Djinn just make him immune to the whole "sex weed magic thingy" as well?
Or would the usual lack of primary sexual attraction towards other people make it a bit harder for Yennefer's spell to take a hold on him?
(Another headcanon theory I came up with - should Jaskier be revealed as being the direct descendant of Fjall and the Lark - would be that, perhaps, the small touch of magic in his blood would be enough to make him more resistant to certain types of spell... On top of being able to eat whatever he comes across without freaking poisoning himself, I swear!)
But yeah, let's just imagine, for a moment, that sapiosexual Jaskier would have no clue (or very little clue) of what it actually feels like to specifically be sexually attracted to someone (rather than the sex itself, and all it may represent to him) in a way where you are viscerally craving that sexual contact with that specific someone, and you feel like you might go crazy if they don't finally have sex with you.
Then, along comes Radovid, that he develops a sapioromantic and sapiosexual attraction for...
And, for a while, Jaskier thinks he's just losing his freaking mind, because there are moments where Radovid is just there, simply being all sensitive and insightful while discussing dwarven politics with Yarpen, for example...
... and poor Jaskier's never been so sexually aroused in his life!!!
But Radovid is not even technically doing anything that's supposed to be "sexually charged"!
He's fully clothed, being all smart and sensitive, talking about a topic of interest to him while having lunch by the side of the road...
...and Jaskier is just there, casually eating next to him while listening to him talk with their friends.
It's 100% casual and totally trivial, day to day stuff... No plan for Jaskier to try and seduce him and have sex there!
So, how come does he suddenly feel the urge to pounce on him and beg Radovid to just take him right here and there, in front of all their friends at camp, and it's taking all the self-control he can humanly muster not to act upon that impulse?!
Instead, Jaskier stands up, awkwardly excuses himself, and decides the best way to manage the situation is to go take a random dip fully clothed in the nearest river.
"Why?", they ask. Because he was getting hot, that's why!
And no, he couldn't just remove his clothes instead! He liked them really baggy an concealing that day, thank you very much!
As a matter of fact, he might decide to just start wearing his shirt over his pants from now on, because he's starting a new fashion trend! No other reason!
Oh...
Oh, no...
NO.
Don't you dare look at me all concerned while trying to read into my behavior, you stupid prince... Wait. Is that a smirk?

And I'm just imagining poor Jaskier trying to ask Yennefer if Radovid might be some kind of sorcerer with latent magical abilities or something... Because, whenever he's around, there are moments where he randomly feels this overwhelming urge to make love to him, even if the context is not appropriate for delivering a sexual performance of any kind!
Like yes, it has happened to him before to have "the muses" whisper in his ear that sex with a certain someone might be good, and he's typically very open to sudden bursts of inspiration and unplanned sexual improvisation!
But that's not the same thing!
It only happens specifically with Radovid - especially when he's saying or doing something really witty, sensitive or insightful - and it's like his whole body suddenly catches fire, gets all tense and trembling with need; and being touched by him and having sex with him feels like finally being able to breathe after someone's forcefully been holding your head under water for a while...
Radovid must be bewitching him, somehow, for sure!
And Yenn is like "You know that what you've just been describing is simply what regular sexual desire feels like for most people, right?"
