It was... an animal?

No... not quite, its face was wrong. It should've had 2 eyes, a growling maw but it didn't. The eyes were not a solid consistent thing, they were almost fluid; moving around it's face, there were always at least 3. Its snout was almost smooth, fur, flesh and bone sure but there wasn't a jaw.. scars ran in an almost star like pattern from the center.

It's body was too long and not all that intact, entrails hung from it not all even looking like it should've been its. As it stood in the light of the torch it's eyes swirled around its skull, hackles raised as a deep growling emanated from its throat.
