i do remember the first time i watched through being swept up a little in rebecca's righteous rage towards higgins for not telling her about her husband's affairs, particularly before i had gotten accustomed to the gentle nuance and love that characterizes the show, but the scene that opens the episode i just started really made something click in my head!!
like, higgins's wife establishes that the promotion gave the family enough money to get the other car fixed, implying that money has been tight. they have FOUR KIDS currently living with them and another one who has only recently moved out, which means that he has a family to consider if he ever lost his job. he does not have a lot of financial room to take a Brave and Noble Stand against his boss, even if he thinks his boss is a piece of shit. it makes his decision to take that stand against rebecca ever more impressive, and highlights his growth & how he's been influenced by ted.

I’m rewatching all of TOH to prepare for the new episode (currently at Lost in Language and am so hyped because Lumity) and my brain is freaking out so much because there is a crapton of foreshadowing! Witches Before Wizards is nothing but foreshadowing! You do make friends, Luz! You do become a witch and learn magic! You do become The Good Witch Luzura! You did come to the Demon Realm for a reason! To take down Belos and overthrow the government!
You’re gonna get to do all these amazing things! You find the love of your life, a found family, the best friends ever, and the greatest ally’s! It’s the best of times and the worst of times, but I know you’ll be able to get through it! And I’m beginning to cry right now because this show is so amazing! God, this show is just- AAAHHHHH!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH IM DYING!!

This episode drained me to the core
It was so painfull in a way that no other bl aver did, cuz there is none of that fantastical realism where there is no homophobia and relationship be it straight or queer are treated the same way(we wish it was like that especially at time like now where LGBTQ+ people are being persecuted especially trans people...) and for how much I appreciate that cuz they can focus on different problems but sometime this shows rootad in reality are needed cuz life is not always happy endings and sometime relationships ends cuz the love ends and even if you put all your efforts in it it isn't enough, and sometime strangers you just met are more willing to put effort to adapt to your life ans/or disabilities than your own family, cuz found families are sometime stronger than blood
this show is gonna consume me... slowly episode after episode... cuz I feel so much for every character cuz all of them feel real like you could meet each one of them in real life...

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.
and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.
I'm not sure if it helps, but it does entertain me

Annabeth is so much stronger then me I'm just saying if my mum got pissed and punished me for something my field trip partner did after i was nothing but the perfect child for the last 5 years meanwhile the guy who actually did the thing got nothing but praise from his dad yeah no Luke wouldn't even have time to ask me if I wanted to fight against the gods I'd already be starting my own revolution

Leah Jeffries is playing Annabeth like she's one thousand years old in the body of a twelve-year-old and she is so correct.
