hera and ezra reunion

i want to see hera catch sight of ezra at the same time he sees her. i want them to approach each other, i want them to be emotional but quietly---different from the loudness of sabine and ezra’s reunion---and i want hera to hug him like he might disappear in her arms. and then i want them both to break with a sob that could be a laugh while hera cradles the back of his head and marvels at how different he is. i want ezra to look up from the hug and for sabine to give him a brilliant, watery smile from where she’s watching, and then i want the girls to introduce jacen syndulla to him.

i just noticed that luthen says in his famous speech that he wrote his equation "15 years ago". since Andor takes place in 5 bby (that's 5 years before a new hope) then 15 years back is actually pre-empire (just barely), namely 20 bby (the empire started a year later). so the clone wars were still ongoing. so luthen has been fighting his war since then, knowing "he's damned for what he does"? was he a separatist or a republic loyalist? a fighter on the ground or a spy or a defender of his world? was he a politician or someone else who realized palpatine and his overreach of power was bad news? or even a jedi? much to think about
