So I've been a dregs member for a long time (I'm in my 30s now) and back when I was a new grunt I was especially trolleyed at the Crow Club, and I ended up spilling like half my pint on the head of one of Haskell's feral little runners, yk one of the little kids?? Transfem Buggy anon, back at it again

Luffy beat the everloving snot out of Kaido. Luffy and his alliance freed Wano. Buggy likely couldn't have visited Wano - soon after the Last Island, there was the hot mess with Roger leaving, the crew disbanding, everyone separating, Buggy+Shanks Survival Mode, the execution, Buggy and Shanks Survival Mode 2 Electric Boogaloo, and by the time Buggy would even be feasibly ready to go, it would have been locked down.

She'd have never once been able to truly visit that place.

And now? Now she has the Guild. She has responsibilities, appearances to uphold, and she'd find out that Luffy has been named an Emperor Officially and Wano Is Free.

She... she wants her mom. Gods, she wants her mom.

She calls Shanks. Asks if he'd heard. Asks if he knows. And he says he was close by. He's so near that he could be docked by the morning. And Buggy aches. How can she make this work? How can she do this, Shanks, she doesn't know what she's doing, it's gotten so crazy so quickly, she's drowning in it-

And he offers an alliance.

A no-harm agreement. Some of his and some of hers, themselves both involved, to go to Wano for personal and professional reasons. Wano is, after all, the homeland of very talented samurai and smiths.

And Buggy realizes the Guild could probably recruit from there - at the very least, establish trade for quality goods. It's a bit far, but it would be worth it for the sheer quality alone - and it would boost the economy.

Shanks would be able to call it an adventure, would be able to set it as a vested interest bc of his history with Kaido, it could work-

Crocodile and Mihawk do insist on accompanying her - for surface level United Fronts, for private "don't fuck it up", for personal "why is she so interested no I'm not curious about her no I don't wanna know her better shut up-"

Shanks gets a kick out of it.

Buggy is so preoccupied with seeing the home Toki told her about, maybe even seeing Toki herself, she's practically vibrating. She's in better spirits than she has been for YEARS.

When they finally arrive, Buggy asks Shanks if she can use his room. He just smiles and nods. When she comes out, all three men are a little breathless bc she's done her hair so artfully, with an unfamiliar hair piece, a loop of flowers made from beads and painstakingly cared for. Her makeup is no less flattering, but the style has changed slightly. Her outfit is a short kimono with half cut sleeves and leggings. She wears it well, and it's only the fact that they know her, have been with her, that has them aware of the fact that she ISN'T in fact a local.

They go to town.

Buggy gets along with them famously. Shanks is a very close second, perfectly mannered, while Mihawk and Crocodile trail slightly behind, out if place and reserved. It's all wonderful, blissful for a few hours, business and pleasure together, before they get lunch at a small restaurant, and an older woman steps over, bows, and asks the blue haired pirate if she "is little Buggy? Lady Toki's girl...?"

Buggy's heart skips a beat.

Toki has been dead for some time now. She fell with the destruction of Oden Castle, may her soul find rest. But she'd been a very close friend, and Toki has told this woman about her loved ones, her children, her husband, her friends, her other baby who deserved a Wano that deserved her in turn. Toki had photographs, keepsakes, and they all were entrusted to her closest friend.

Buggy is emotional. Shanks offers her his arm, his shoulder, and the others are silent, supportive sentinels. The ones who knew her mourned.

Buggy visits her grave. Tells her mom all about herself now. About the things she's seen and done and learned, from the day she watched the Wano shores bleed into the horizon to the day Buggy came home, well and truly.

Crocodile and Mihawk feel as if they are intruding heavily, but Shanks stops them with a look. Buggy did not tell them to leave. She absently waves for them to take a seat with her.

Toki taught her many things - honoring the dead among them. She talks the process out, and neither of her lieutenants mention that she and Shanks both are crying quietly.

The two former warlords learn many, many things about their chairwoman on this trip.

This is just so beautiful. Buggy finding out her mother is dead but there's so much she can still enjoy in Wano after telling Toki everything that has changed in her life. I think she enjoys the trip and she finally feels at home because everything she knows is thanks to her. Buggy wants the three men to stay with her because she feels a little less alone, and they're surprisingly extremely respectful. I imagine Buggy talking to Hiyori and Momo and it kills me,,, It's so sweet. I think Crocodile, Mihawk, and Shanks are having a moment of peak realization and they're starting to be down down bad for her. Like. There's no coming back after this because Buggy owns their hearts fr. Also, she falls so many times with that kimono because she's still a failgirl and she isn't used to those clothes because the last time she wore one of those was when she was a kid. And yet she still looks gorgeous and like she belongs there.

Hey, I really love your observations about the post war order the Gaang developed. I always thought that it would have made a lot more sense, and have made a much better story, had Azula acted as a key shaper of said order. Like, maybe after the war she was set free and became one of Zuko's key advisors, working to secure Fire Nation interests and ensure her nation avoid all responsibility for their part in the war, recasting herself as a champion of Republic City's independence.

okay well i know we love to joke about how dumb zuko is but in what world would zuko allow that. his whole thing (in canon at least, we ignore the c*mics) is that he, as a symbol of the harm both done by and to him, must become firelord to directly take responsibility for the fire nation’s crimes, and his role postwar is to atone for his family’s sins. there’s no way he would just allow azula to undo that work??? obviously she’s a lot more manipulative than he is, but he’s also predisposed to be antagonistic towards her so there’s no way he’d fall for that shit. and there’s especially no way that sokka, toph, suki, aang, or katara, mai, or ty lee would fall for that shit!!! azula is probably the last person who could’ve gotten away with securing the fire nation’s privileges after the war.

I also don’t think that she should, but im also a proponent of zuzu redemption 2: electric boogaloo, the long grueling road towards undoing her cognitive dissonance. like i honestly think that one theory going around while lok book 2 was airing, that she becomes a fire nation shaman and healer who tends to herds of sky bison on a remote island, is actually really sweet. sure, it would take a very long time for her to get there, but even just in spirit, i want her to rest and heal and spend her life helping people in peace and tranquility. the idea that she grows up to help the avatar is really cute to me. but actually, your question isn’t really about azula at all.

here’s the thing. if you do buy the state of the avatar-world is as lok implies, i think its easiest to assume that although they had good intentions, the gaang failed in their vision of postwar reconstruction rather than made it that way. a confluence of material forces shaped the world in such a way that was out of aang&co’s control. but also, taking a materialist-pessimist approach is kind of bleak to me, because i like to think that the avatar would have more influence in such a world, especially considering his role in ending the war. not that he can control everything (the fc yee novels do a great job of illustrating the lack of control any one figure has over the state of the world, even provided they’re the avatar). so ultimately i think that assessing lok as an extension of atla must necessarily require acknowledging the ways in which the canon conflicts both politically and thematically, and not attempting to explain every inconsistency through in-universe justifications, but rather to simply admit that the writing was flawed.

•She’s originally from O’khasis, but she and her mother moved to Cat Island when she was 13.

•That “favor” that O’khasis owes her family is actually because she saved a young Garroth from drowning when she was 12 and he was 7. They and a bunch of other town’s kids were ice skating and he fell through the ice.

•She didn’t know that Phoenix Drop’s Garroth was the same Garroth she saved as a child. Well not at first anyway.

•Despite her mother’s.. love.. of cats, Donna’s more of a dog person.

•She and Molly are literally Phoenix Drop’s mothers. They’ll mother anyone and everyone.

•Donna and Molly are besties.

•Shameless oogaler. She’s been oogaled her whole life, so she figures she might as well do it back. Right?

•She worked as a farm hand in meteli as a teenager. Because she has the experience she likes to help Brendan tend the fields and help Kiki with her animals if she ever needs.

•When she was 20 she moved to Phoenix Drop to get away from her mother. There she opened up her.. “not” brothel.

•She takes in women who don’t have anywhere else to go and helps them get on their feet.

•Some of the women who stay with her do partake in brothel behavior. She doesn’t judge, money is money, and if they’re ok with it so is she.

•She’s strong asf.

•She works as Phoenix Drop’s nurse. She was taught how to care for people’s health by her uncle, so when someone has a non-life threatening ailment, she’s there to help.

•She first got with Logan because she thought he was cute and he had money. She only fell in love with him after the first few weeks, when she realized he did in fact have a heart.

•She will NOT tolerate rude, disrespectful, or ungentlemanly behavior. Will literally punch you in the nose. Watch it.

•Before adopting Yip, she had no desire to have kids. She’d never been fond of little crouch gremlins but Yip changed something in her. She never hated kids, I want to make that clear. They just made her mildly uncomfortable.

Currently watching the three french ccs that are streaming on the qsmp and I decided to do that again for the people who doesn't follow them. Reminder that this time this about THE CHARACTERS IN RP, not the ccs.

q!Baghera Jones : She is convinced the elections are a masquerade, and is more and more worried as she see the others start to actually argue about who would be a better president, she is planning to reunite everyone anti federation/elections to form a resistance.

q!AyPierre : Isn't interested in being president himself, too risky. BUT want to contact a candidate (most probably Etoiles) and ask for power in exchange for being the top of the leaderboards as he has ways to put them there (except the "time logged on" because of Forever's Afk)

q!Etoiles : Isn't truly interested in being president, mostly there to remind everyone he actually gave a lot of stuff to the island. Also interested in getting closer to the federation in order to destroy it. Doesn't like Cucurucho. Is getting frustrated of Forever and Cellbit's antagonizing.

q!Antoine Daniel : Doesn't really like the elections, but really like Gegg and Mike as candidates. Currently getting informations on every candidate and member to get the bigger picture, as he is more and more invested.

Okay so Idk when 1.20 is coming out, and by that I mean Idk when Season 10 is starting, but I really think it would be better if they just. Kept on playing in the same world and changed season in 1.21 cause there’s just like so many projects that have a long way to go.

I mean, besides Decked Out, there are still so many bases still being early WIPS. Like, Doc’s perimeter isn’t even a quarter done in terms of decoration and farms. Mumbo just got back to his vault and Etho to his jungle base. Cub is still modyfing Total Chaos. Grian is doing slow and steady progress in his base and just started a server wide highway. Pearl has to terraform her whole biome. Scar is gonna do a whole castle, a fantasy AND a sci-fi district. Ren is doing Speedy Pines 2: Electric Boogaloo with Etho and is now gonna cover a whole mushroom island with mud?????

AND OMG DO I NEED MORE STORYLINES AND INTERACTIONS. EVER SINCE THE END OF THE CROSSOVER THE ONLY FREQUENT INTERACTIONS WE GET ARE TCG RELATED ONES, WHICH ARE FUN, BUT STILL, I NEED MORE.

What’s gonna be the resolution to the Anvil Wars? Is anyone ever gonna poke Doc enough for him to release his Mecha-Goat? Will Grian return to try to infiltrate Mumbo’s vault?

And that’s not even talking about how many inactive hermits I’m waiting for to return. Iskall and Stress, I love your Vault Hunters series, Zed and Bdubs, I love your Create Series, but please, I miss you on Hermitcraft!!!

Most popular city: New York, with 13 pieces, followed by Paris with 8, and Chicago is third with 7! Washington DC has 6, Florence, Madrid, and London all have 5, Philadelphia has 4, Dublin, Edinburgh, Mexico City each have three, and all the following cities have two: Boston, Cairo, Calgary, Cordoba, Helsinki, Houston, Jerusalem, Los Angeles, Munich, Ottawa, Prague, Vienna, Warsaw

Most popular museum: somehow the Art Institute of Chicago has the most with 6 pieces! Followed by the Museum of Modern Art with 5 pieces! The Museo del Prado has 4, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has 3, and the Ateneum, Louvre, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museo Dolores Olmedo, National Gallery of Canada, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Tate Britain, Tretyakov Gallery, and the Uffizi Gallery each have 2! In addition, the single works are spread out amongst 16 city level galleries (ie the Phoenix Art Museum), 5 state/provincial (ie Queensland Art Gallery), 25 national (ie National Gallery Prague), 8 museums named after benefactors (ie the Hirshhorn Museum), 7 museums dedicated to a specific artist (ie the Van Gogh Museum) and numerous other institutions! Churches, palaces, increasingly specific museums, museums that are named after their location rather than their governmental level... and of course a whole lot of private collections and pieces we were unable to find the location of!

Countries! 50 pieces are in the US! 13 in France! 12 in Spain! 7 in England, 6 in Canada and Italy, 5 in Russia, 4 in Ireland, Mexico, and Australia, 3 each in Germany, Austria, and Scotland, and 2 each in China, the Netherlands, Israel, Finland, Wales, Poland, Japan, Egypt, and India, and 1 each in Portugal, Ecuador, Thailand, Singapore, Belgium, Argentina, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Norway, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and the Vatican!

Demographics! I revoked John Singer Sargents American status for these because he was born in Europe, and spent most of his life travelling around Europe. I tried my best to track down the correct numbers but honestly some of these are likely to be slightly off. I went with easily publicly available information like Wikipedia and where that failed the author's website. I also tracked people's birth countries in addition to where they lived / worked for most of their lives. Anyway! We have 74 pieces by American artists! 27 French, 22 English, 14 Russian, 13 Spanish, 11 Canadian, 9 Italian, 8 Chinese, 8 German, 6 Irish, 6 Polish, 6 Mexican, 5 Greek (four of those are Ancient Greece), 5 Ukrainian, 5 Japanese, 4 Australian, 4 Belgian, 4 Indian, 3 Serbian, 3 Armenian, 3 Dutch, 3 Austria, 3 Latvian, 3 Swedish, 2 each from Finland, Scotland, Malaysia, Cuba, the Czech Republic, and Norway, and one each from Israel (specifically), Portugal, Ecuador, Thailand, Switzerland, Denmark, Iran, Colombia, Chile, Estonia, and Egypt (albeit Ancient Egypt)

Including the one Israeli artist, we have 7 Jewish artists represented, as well as 4 Black, 6 Indigenous (one is half Kichwa, one is Sami, one is Haida, one is Ojibwe, and two are Australian Aboriginals. One of those is Kokatha and Nukunu, and the other one was a group project with eight artists who did the majority of the work, and 6 of those are from Erub Island but the articles did not specify further except that at least one of the eight is non-Indigenous), 1 Chicana, and 1 Asian-American (which I am specifying because I felt very stupid adding tallies to an Asian column when I already said there are 8 Chinese artists and 5 Japanese and 2 Malaysians and....). We also do have 16 artists that publicly identify as queer in some fashion! I have listed 9 works by gay men, 2 works by lesbians, and 5 that have chosen to use "queer" instead of other labels.

And on that note.... we have 155 works by men, 51 by women, and 2 by nonbinary artists!

Most represented artists! Frida Kahlo and René Magritte tied with four works each! Félix González-Torres, Francisco Goya, John Singer Sargent each have three! And the artists that have 2 artworks each are... Claude Monet, Dragan Bibin, Edmund Blair Leighton, Francisco de Zurbarán, Gustav Klimt, Holly Warburton, Hugo Simberg, Ilya Repin, Ivan Aivazovsky, Jacques-Louis David, Jenny Holzer, Louis Wain, Pablo Picasso, Sun Yuan & Peng Yu, Victo Ngai, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Leonardo da Vinci (although the second is debated attribution)! That means that 205 of the works are not by any of the above! Some have unknown artists (we've got THREE CAVE ARTS) but most are just... really varied!

And lastly, years painted (as sorted by year finished and not year started). Who else loves when something is listed as "13th century"?? Not me, that's who. This is going to be a lot of numbers, and there's no real way to make it more readable. so..... feel free to skip!

The oldest two submissions are from circa 40,000 years before present, and 30 to 32 thousand years before present! Six more artworks came to exist before 0 (CE or AD depending on who you're talking to), and 7 before 1000! 2 from the 1200s, 6 from the 1400s, 8 from the 1500s, 3 from the 1600s, and 5 from the 1700s! Several of those already listed were started in a previous ....age category (for instance, one has no specified date other than 7300 BC to 700 AD) but once we hit 1600, everything is usually finished in a relatively short timespan. 6 are from 1800-1850, 9 from 1850-1880, and the 1880s are extremely busy. 1 from 1881, 3 from 1882, 1 from 1883-1885, 5 from 1886, and two each from the next four years (1887-1890)! 6 from 1891-1895, and 5 from 1896-1900!

We've got 3 from 1901 or 1902, 4 from 1903, two each from 1906 and 1907, and one each from 1908 and 1909! 3 from 1910-1915, 3 from 1917, 2 from 1918 and one from 1919! 6 are from the Roaring Twenties, three of them specifically from 1928! 4 from 1931-1935, and only 3 from the latter half of the 30s! There's 3 from WWII, and 4 from 1946-1949, 5 from 1951-1954 but only 3 from '55-'59. 5 from the sixties, 7 spread out through the 70s, and 10 from the 80s, two each from 81, 82 and 84. The 90s have a lot of duplicate and triplicate years, totaling 20 overall! 11 are from 90-95, the other 9 are 96-99. 7 from 2001-2005, and 8 from 2006-2009. 9 from 2010-2014, 3 from 2015, 6 from 2016, 5 from 2017, 1 from 2018, 3 from 2019, 5 from 2020, 1 from 2021, 4 from 2022, 11 from 2023, and 3 ongoing projects! Whew! If anyone wants it listed By Year instead of in groups like this, that'll be most readable in like... list form and that's way too long for a stats post.

Energizer Kids Pt 2 Electric Boogaloo:

Harumi Arc: 6 months younger than Barbara, female, originally from an Mistrali Island chain. Left at the doorsteps of a monastery as a baby, most likely abandoned because of her manifested faunus trait, two-pairs of black carapaced arms. Harumi's Spider-Faunus heritage has made it difficult for her to socialize with other children and especially harder for her to be adopted.

Despite Harumi's introverted personality and body dysmorphia, she has a bright and creative side, with dreams of becoming a renowned DJ and music composer. She can come off as cold and aloof, but she truly cares about those around her, especially her new found family.

Obi Gowon-Arc: 3 years younger than Barbara, male, originally from the Vacuoan Savannah. Obi his village at a young age to a natural disaster, a brush fire that burnt away his home along with his family. This has left him with some trauma and a phobia of fire.

Obi can be often as described as overly emotional and a bit of a "scaredy cat", but he is determined to conquer his fears in order to become a disaster relief EMT. He's incredibly empathetic to other's feelings and always does his best to help others... as long as it doesn't involve going into dark caves, or fire, or large dangerous animals, and especially no ghosts.

Fuck it. Riku Replica has been living in my head like I found him in the Realm of Darkness, so here's a bunch of canon divergence concepts that I'm too lazy to write into full stories:

1: Repliku doesn't walk away after the Marluxia fight. Instead he also gets a pod and goes to sleep so Namine can fix his heart and make him like the real Riku, but with the Darkness locked away. Sora wakes up and sees Repliku in his pod. He wakes him up, assuming it's the real Riku and they go home to the islands. The real Riku (looking like Ansem) is then responsible for having to stop the Organization and deal with knowing that Sora doesn't even realize that Replica isn't him..

2: Repliku gets his ass beat into the ROD at the end of COM, but ends up on the Dark Margin and meets Aqua. They become friends. She helps him grow out of being a dickhead and he ends up sacrificing himself so that she can follow Sora and Riku into the Realm of Light at the end of KH2. He then gets kidnapped , Norted, and drafted into The Real Org from there.

3. On his his first visit to the ROD with Mickey, Riku finds Repliku, but he still has his physical form but BIGGO DEPRESSION. No angry, just despair to the point of being near catatonic. Mickey and Riku bring him back to Yen Sid's where he just stares out the window, not talking or moving until Sora shows up. And is like "Another Riku??? Can I have him??" Since the real Riku and Mickey are still going back to find Aqua, Yen Sid says fuck it, and let's Repliku go with SDG. The simple fact that Sora WANTS him to come along (even though he isn't real) combine with Donald and Goofy saying yes he can come with them (as apposed to kh1) is enough bring him to near tears. And he goes with them on their adventures and begins to heal and become his own person, with Sora noting how different he is from Riku and even giving him a different name like Kiru, or Cave or some shit.

He gets to save Namine

4. (This one is a Dark Riku/Replitwo Electric Boogaloo one) No Repliku in this one. Dark Riku is the Replica from deep into Castle Oblivion before his heart gets smashed and his memries are the most fucked up. During their interactions he keeps saying the weird shit like "always trying tonworm your way into my heart" and "it never mattered to you" and "I bet you'd all but forgotten about me" and all that stuff from COM. Sora beats him at the KBGY and he tells Sora to finish him off-- that he had already broken his heart, he might as well tear it out of him put him out of his misery. Sora doesn't (obviously) he's just super confused as to why he's saying all these things cause he thought this is Riku Ansem, but is realizing now it's not.

Xigbar, who is fighting the real Riku sees Sora is distracted. He knocks Riku back and takes his shot. Dark Riku, utterly broken and defeated, still notices and pushes Sora out of the way, taking the hit and saving him.

By this time, Riku is back up and back at the fight.

Sora, however is stunned, and as Dark Riku lay fading, he wants to know why he saved him. But all the Dark Riku says as finally fades is "Sora, let's take the raft and go. Just the two of us..." and then he's gone.

These are all up for grabs. If any of them are interesting to you, let me know and I might do some art of them, but not a whole ass comic cause I'm really slow at art and it takes forever.
