layla was going to say no. she had it all planned. she was going to tell him she loves him so much and that she sees it in their future but not right now. they're too young. but then he addresses all of her concerns without her needing to say anything and proves to her that he knows her. he knows her better than anyone. he listens to her! everything clicked and then she couldn't imagine saying anything but yes. she wasn't thinking about anything but how adorable he was rambling and how well he knew her and she knows that he's going to be there.
later she'll think about how deeply she is certain that jordan will always show up for her. and how much that influences things because they both watched their parents fall apart after losing the person they thought would be with them for the rest of their life. they both have parents who lost the love of their life, their soulmate, and now layla has hers. laura and jp lost their soulmates too soon and layla doesn't want to waste another minute without hers.

can't tell if I need to get more or less obsessed with the rescue (is it even possible for me to get more obsessed with it)
it's not even like it's a personal favourite I just have serious brain rot about it

Fat people deserve mobility aids, too. No matter if it's connected to their fatness or not, because having a mobility issue that is connected to one's fatness won't change that they're still fat and still have the issue at hand. Fat people don't deserve to "tough it out" because fatness should be this divine punishment doled out to those who "deserve" it. Fat disabled people deserve to have the peace of mind that they can exist in whatever way is most comfortable and accessible to them

The defintion of hell is knowing a show is incredibly well-received in its first season, but if people don’t become machines churning out tweets, content, and rewatching 24/7, there’s no likelihood it’ll get a chance to tell its whole story. This shit is madness. Shows in different genres shouldn’t have to pit-battle for dominance. First seasons are MEANT to be baselines establishing worlds and characters, not complete storylines. The idea that this golden age of television has turned into “get it done in one or get out” is revolting.

Over the years Tim had lead, taught and helped countless other teens come into thier powers and said teens looked at him like he hung the stars. They admired him greatly and wanted to do something to make thier mentor/big brother figure proud.
So when they found Tims soulmate they were absolutely ecstatic.
Yeah sure, the guy was the child of evil mad scientists and apparently the heir of a creepy fake vampire supervillian but they'd seen weirder couples in the hero community. They just needed to convince him to join the heros side!
Naturally they try to kidnap Danny and he has no idea whats going on other than a bunch of kids in superhero costumes are trying to abduct him. Between his powers as Phantom, that they seem to not know about (thank the ancients that ghosts don't show up well of pictures and that he started wearing a mask) and his own parents paranoid housebuilding techniques Danny escapes them easily.
Danny figured they would leave him alone eventually, right? If not he would have to call the cops for stalking and harassment.
If that didn't work he would just set all the house lazers to stun. Worst case scenario he might have to call the Justice League emergency line and yell at them to come get thier kids.
It would also be funny if he just kicked them out as Phantom

rings of power has cured my impostor syndrome because how is ‘the most expensive show ever made’ written at a 4th grade reading level, directed by people who still think blood splattering the camera is le epic, and costumed by hallmark channel dropouts
