Not really a question, but sometimes I think about '03 Leatherhead meeting your Sep AU Donnie and how much that kid would just absolutely break his heart. 03 LH was very messed up by getting experimented on by Bishop, so I think meeting this little mutant turtle who'd endured painful experimentation since he was like, 8 would just absolutely devastate him.

And the fact that Donnie doesn't even really see anything wrong with what Draxum did to him would make it even worse. I feel like LH would jump on the "Let's murder the goatman" train pretty quickly.

God I so want to bring 2003 LH into the AU somehow, and this ask just gave me an excuse to finally draw him lol. LH, Honeycutt, and Jennika are so on my list—somehow someway they’re gonna show up. For the prof I don’t much care which version it, (and Jennika I obs don’t have a lot of options lol) but I love love love poor 2003 Leatherhead. There was just something missing with his 2012 version I don’t know what 🤷🏻‍♀️.

YES! Sunshine boy is steadily making his way into the Hades AU!! He’s got his jetpack and a torn up poncho for dramatic effect (but no Wi-Fi antenna because I didn’t want to put it in his face 😅)

Why did I feel it necessary to add all these sketches to this one page? Because 1) I wanted to showcase how much I struggled on this one. It is just part of the drawing process. Like, Old Man Rex was a headache and a half but Cody still had him beat on the sketch somehow. And 2) because the solution to being stuck here turned out to be to switch my dark brown/desaturated purple to a red colour, scribble out the very very base of the pose (imagine blobs and swoopy lines and boxes) and then just keep chipping away at building the body and armor and whatever on top of it. (I think the sketch is still very red in the original file…)That had granted me a breakthrough with Rex as well, and now with Cody too… so I might as well remember this solution and spare myself the trouble with the next character ^^;

(Do I know what size a lightsaber actually is when it is held in only one hand? No. Am I willing to look it up properly? … not for the time being, no)

You've got to ask around, because it often goes by word of mouth here, no matter what technology you bring. Don't worry, it'll spread very quickly, but if you're in a hurry you can find his commemorative statue and leave an offering. No one knows if it really works, but it's a good way to pass the time and feel productive.

To be entirely honest I'm not sure, I think the term is pretty subjective. I generally try to avoid putting too many labels on them, they start to feel so oppressive so fast.

#for example one of the qualifications is relatively young age #both of them are in their thirties so you could potentially argue they might be past that prime twink era #or not depends on who you ask #and the ideal 'twink body shape' is also up for debate because you're supposed to be slim but not too bony #Vasco might have too much muscle and Machete too little or they could both fit the definition I dunno #I don't mind either way but I probably won't assign categories for them myself #not trying to act holier than thou it just doesn't seem necessary eh #answered #anonymous
