as an ex-mcyt/dsmp fan (can you believe it?), i am really disappointed in wilbur and his actions. the fact that they had a safe word, and he continued, that his friends came out of their shells and were willing to speak of their experiences with him around them and their friends…it’s upsetting.

+ his apology ?? absolute shit.

he was one of my inspirations in the form of music when their (lovejoy’s) first ep had came out and now all i want is to disassociate myself from all his content and any form of musical creation.

i hope many are distanced from him now. and i hope the victims, such as shelby, niki, even rue (tommy’s roommate), are safe now, and more joyful and free now that they’ve talked about the situation.

I used to be a casual fan of dsmp until techno died. After which it seems most members (even after) lost there minds and started leaning into there more toxic and hateful traits, causing unnecessary drama and them being isolated/cut off.

Sapnap began to complain at ever turn about everything. I don't think there's been a recent MCC he's been in, were he hasn't complained once. He even complains about his friends and cuts them off randomly. The modern irl minecraft Mondays.

Dream let his "cult followers" get out of control and is now acting like an absent farther.

George isn't doing anything wrong he's just a bit of an online creep, and can't handle situations himself. He also laughed at a cancer charity and covered himself by donating his "personal" money

Tommy and Tubbo are doing great but they make content at the expense of there physically and mental health. They need a break. No one is leaving after a week of rest.

Ranboo has had to step up to the 'monotone, funny streamer man' that techno once was despite them being completely different people. He deserves to make his own content.

Niki and Minx are being thrown around like dolls for Wilbur's mistakes, everything seems to be there fault when it's not.

Wilbur, has always had a sort of "snappy" vibe. He's always the center of attention, and knows it. He steps on tommys fingers for tying his shoes. Calls him fat for having fun. And was generally a bad person even before being exposed. He only cared for himself.

BadBoyHalo, is being (wrongly) called ugly and a waste, for just existing and wanting to be friends with as many people as possible

Quackity is getting sh*t on for the actions of his power-tripped workers and is going into debt to make people happy.

Skeppy is being blamed for not having a reaction and not engaging in conflict

Some of them have let the power of being "top 200" creators get to there heads and it shows. They all need a break.

The younger mcyt need a genuine adult figure in there lives to undo what social media and dsmp has done to them.

And the adults of dsmp need therapist.

There behaviour is not right. And neither are there extreme fans. You no longer can be a causal viewer because "you're supporting someone who did this!" and it's like they're all 13yrs old fighting over colored pencils

I can agree with some of these but not everything, like Dream for example is 'acting like an absent father' bc literally everything he does he's called a bad person, he's been canceled twice for something he didn't do plus some of his CHILDHOOD friends turned out to be horrible people.

Also Ranboo didn't really become a monotone funny streamer, he just got more comfortable with themselves and trys to set boundaries.

Justaminx her real name Rebecca, She had said a homophobic slur towards Lesbians mutilples times in a live stream. Later she apologised for her actioning talking about how she wasn't aware they were offensive. Rebecca also had an issue with Soot and claimed 'I've had my own issues with him in the past' 'they basically took his side and shit and i lost a lot of friends' also stating Soot was yelling at a victim 'they were crying, he was screaming' This was all in party with apparently according to Rebecca had loads of Streamers. 'i went down and was like yo what the fuck. I was getting in his face' 'what the fuck were you screaming at her for? Calm down' Soot then yelled back at Rebecca 'don't speak to me like that in my house' Soot yelled at Rebecca. Soot had been intoxicated and had felt ill and ran to a bathroom were he was throwing up in the toilet Rebecca claimed 'although i was pissed i helped him' She then pulled his hair back 'and motherfucker just went you tried to drown me!" Soot yelled 'what the fuck do you mean i tried to drown you in the fucking toilet?' She yelled, 'you don't have to go' Soot repeated while Rebecca left. Rebecca stated they all took his side and didn't take her due to a huge drinking problem she had. Rebecca was very close with Sembowsk who had been doing daily streams with Soot at the time, had a issue with Soot basically kicking Sembowsk out her own room and screaming down the mic to Rebecca.

So, while studying for my final, I went into the Irish rabbit hole of content on YouTube. Started with Jacksepticeye, which led to me branching out to the other Irish Lads, which somehow led to Facts/the TRY Channel. From there, I started watching Graham Norton clips, but specifically the ones with Irish guests. And then I started watching Irish shows like the Late Late Show and Ireland’s version of Dragon’s Den, which led to me looking up Irish movies (there was the Jadotville movie on Netflix and this weird comedy horror one about people summoning the devil). And then I watched a documentary about the Irish military.

I’ve consumed so much Irish content these past few days (actually, could be weeks by now) that when I was talking to my sister and her boyfriend, I subconsciously attempted to do an Irish accent. Specifically, the accent that Call Me Kevin has, you know since Ireland has several different accents. I swear, I didn’t do that on purpose lol. The only explanation I can think of is that, when you’re learning a new language, you have to really immerse yourself in that language in order to pick it up. To a lesser extent, I’ve been immersing myself in so much Irish content that it’s starting to affect my brain.
