I'm in the middle of correcting my one-shot "Hexllo" and I needed a small break so I drew my knockoff Crash Bandicoot characters, who I think at this point I can stop calling knockoffs? Maybe?
Ah well back to the drawing board as the one-shot won't correct itself, but that would be so neat and scary at the same time if it did.
Also the Neo Cortex knockoff in the background needs a redesign as I’m not liking his design. Him looking like the Nina knockoff I do like though… not sure what I’m going to do with him really.
naruto in that waterfall scene truly was like. the villagers have shunned me all my life and now they love me but its all fake cuz they just love me for what i have done to protect the village i HATE those fuckers, they can shove their autograph requests up their dumb asses and then he is like. well i got the solution. to solve all this hatred. to dissolve it and cure it. i'll just keep trying to become who they want me to be, if i manage to be the person THEY want me to be, they will love me and i'll keep their approval. this is the solution to all my problems ^_^ and then he like, hugs his dark self and it dissolves and the whole thing is done its like sfdfdgdgfs. okay, way to repress ur own feelings and do the exact same thing that youve already Been doing all ur life so far LOL. literally victim-blaming ur own self for what others have put u thru but alright. 👍
(Edited by uploading a scanned in verison of the drawing)
Still drawing my knockoff Crash Bandicoot characters. I don’t know when this recent hyper fixation will end for me.
I need to work on the puffin/Scottish wildcat griffins’ design as it’s a bit muddled right now. Maybe add some highlights around the edge of their hair?
Also I like the idea of the Crash knockoff being in traditional clothing and the Coco knockoff wearing modern clothing but I need to do more research into that as she looks rather plain right now.
As for the Nina knockoff I’m surprisingly pleased with her design for now.
Now if only I could think of names for them.
Hopefully on the next drawing I’ll do better than just making the background shades of blue.
Scanner works. Thank goodness, I still can't get it to the best quality but it's better than nothing.
campy horror is absurdly exaggerated, low-budgeted, artificial, or affected in a usually humorous way. camp is, in a way, a rebellion: a rebellion against the growing inaccessibility of art and film by the lower class.
