it may have taken me 12 years but i did it bestie.
Peter Parker wasn’t the type of boyfriend to have rules.
You were your own person, and should live as one. However, there were some things he was a bit more passionate about.
Like: texting him when you get home (and he wasn’t around), calling him if you feel unsafe or nervous, keep him informed of your whereabouts so he could try and track you down if he needed to, and always, always, call him back.
Peter had one rule, let him know you're safe. Always. Even when you’re mad at eachother, even at your most ugly, you’d let him know you’re okay. It was Peter’s one true rule, the other things he liked and he preferred you’d do, but this was his number one thing.
And you’re not following it.
The third time you ignored his call he felt frustration brew so deeply he almost slammed his phone to the ground, it would’ve done nothing to fix anything, and would’ve made a bigger problem, but the satisfaction of watching something break apart into a million pieces would’ve made him feel better. Even if just for a moment.
It’s almost like you knew it’s pissing him off, you’ve never dug this deeply into a wound. You knew it would get under his skin in the right places, it was something that either of you didn’t play with. It was too serious for Peter, and knowing you were most likely safe and just doing this to try and get even with him made him furious. Because he can’t prove it. And because he can’t all he could think about how not okay you might be.
Peter hates leaving angry voicemails but he can’t stop himself this time.
‘This is the fourth fucking call you’ve ignored, I think you proved your point. I know you’re mad at me but this is just childish, you made this night go from a small hiccup to a massive fight because you won’t answer your phone. Just call me back, goddamn it.’
Peter’s never once gotten loud with you, he’s never once felt enough rage towards you he could ever buck up enough energy to yell at you. But all he wanted to do was scream about how inconsiderate you were. He understands he may have started it, he even tried to apologize but you must’ve had this in your heart for a minute because you couldn’t wait to bulldoze him.
‘I’m so sorry, baby. I got caught up in the low-’
‘Whatever, I don’t care. I’m going home.’
‘Hey, no, no, no! We can still hang out! I haven’t ate-’
‘I did. I waited over an hour, Peter. I’m going home.’
‘I’m sorry, I really am, baby. I know tonight was important to you.’
And that’s when the night switched.
‘No, Peter, this wasn’t important to me. This was important for us, this was about you trying to prove you still care about us.’
‘Woah, hold on, don’t you dare stand there and tell me I don’t care about you or us, that’s unfair and you know it.’
‘You know what, Peter? I didn’t sign up to date two guys. I was willing to accept the other because it was a package deal, but I’m tired of being picked last. You know I’ll always be waiting around and it’s so fucking tiresome just waiting around.’
‘Bullshit. You knew exactly what you were signing up for, you don’t get to act like this is new news.’
‘I’m always picked last! I understand who you are, Peter, who you share a life with, trust me, if anyone here knows best about understanding, it’s fucking me, but that doesn’t mean I’m always the last priority. I know sometimes I have to be on the backburner, and guess what, Peter? I fucking understand. But, tonight? What stopped you? Because it’s not like there’s a domestic attack on the city, so tell me, what was so fucking important tonight I was shot to the bottom of the list for it?’
‘Okay, I get it. I know you’re mad, but I think we both need to take a breath and talk about this at home.’
‘No! I want you to look at me and tell me what was so important NYPD’s finest couldn’t handle it for an evening.’
‘Baby, I really don’t-’
‘Fucking tell me! I want you to admit right now it was nothing important. Look me in the eye and admit you didn’t care about my feelings.’
‘It was a robbery. I have a responsibility to keep the city safe, a city you very much live in, by the way.’
‘Ah, the classic, ‘if you really think about it, I’m doing this for you’ line. Real original.’
‘Can we please just go home? If you’re going to be pissed at me anyways I’d rather it be in the comfort of our home.’
‘You can go wherever you want, but I’m not going anywhere with you.’
‘I’m gonna get a cab, hold on.’
‘No, I’m not going anywhere with you and I mean it.’
‘You can hate me at home, let’s go.’
‘No! I’m leaving, you can sit around waiting on me for once.’
‘Why are you doing this now? You’ve never been this persistent before, I moved in with you and you still don’t think it’s enough. What else do you want from me? I’m giving you all I can, fuck.’
‘You know what? I hope someone fucking kidnaps me, maybe then I’d be your first choice.’
‘Don’t, don’t you even dare go there. You know that’s a low blow.’
‘I do. I hope I’m fucking tortured with you on the line, too.’
Peter tried calling out for you, screamed your name even, but you walked across the street and were swallowed into the crowd. He tugged at his hair a few times before looking around, he wasn’t sure what to do. Get a cab, bus, train? Does he walk in the direction you went? It’s a start.
Pulling out his phone he tried calling, you sent him to voicemail on the second ring. You’re pissed, that’s fine, he just needs you mad and safe. Peter dodged bodies on his left and right, checking each alleyway for you, assuming you’d stop to collect yourself and call him when you had a breather.
No sight of you. He doesn’t know where you went from here, it splits two ways. He tries using his boyfriend intuition and attempts to channel you, he’s left hopeless. Like a hail mary he remembers you share locations, Peter’s hands shake when he reaches for the app, your name loading until a small circle appears in his.
You’re close. He follows the road forward, he knows you took this way and his heart squeezes. You deliberately took the sketchy route, the one you told Peter you wouldn’t dare walk without him. It looks like he’s getting closer, but it’s impossible to tell when he has to wait for it to constantly reload.
Peter swears he can see your jacket ahead, he calls your phone, picking up the pace and trying his best to catch up. You blocked his call again, but he saw you do it.
He knows you heard your name get called, because you started to walk faster, it’s useless, Peter’s quicker. The only option you had was to hide in the crowd, squeezing yourself in the middle and out through the front. Sighing heavy at your escape, and a bit unamused by the childish behavior. Peter looked down at his phone refreshing your name ‘find friends.’
His face crumbled into a thousand pieces when the notification appeared, ‘- stopped sharing their location with you.’ His response was to call you, this time you let it ring out, and he left a nasty voicemail. It was like he snapped, he pulled at his curls and exhaled a loud ‘fuck!’ before gripping his phone so tight he thought it’d snap, and that's why he put it away.
If you wanted to play dirty so could he, you’re hard to find from the street but when he’s swinging from building to building you’d be out of luck. He was tired and hungry, he wanted this to be over. Fight about it like grown adults, at home, while he’s making a grilled cheese or something.
Peter ran down a back alleyway, ripping his clothes from his body and pulling his mask from his pocket. The suit came in handy tonight after all. Taking a sharp inhale, he took a leap, screaming out when he took flight.
‘Not you, not you, not you, not…. You? No, not you.’
‘Where the fuck did you go?’
You were nowhere to be found, still no answer on his calls or texts. He knows it’s irrational, but he’s terrified you’ve jinxed yourself and really are in trouble. He’s taken the route on a spin three times and he still hasn’t seen you, there’s three options, you either went into a gay nightclub, were kidnapped, or somehow snuck your way across the road and into… central park.
Of course you did, Peter should’ve known that. He told you one time it was a weak vantage point, he couldn’t see through the treelines all that well, and didn’t have much to swing from. At least he has a general idea of where you are, he just has to do it on foot.
Maybe you were right, maybe he just sucked at prioritizing you now. He doesn’t know when he became this way. He just feels so responsible, he got a great gift and it’s only right he shares it. He just hasn’t figured out how to share Peter with you and Spider-Man with the world yet. Both people need him at the same time.
At last, sitting on the edge of the fountain, is the love of his life. Just looking terribly sad, he hates to know he caused it. He may have started the fight, but you said some terrible things, things that were only said to jab at the most vulnerable spots.
Taking a seat next to you he sighs, his entire body deflating in one breath. You mimic the sigh.
“Rough night?”
You hum, “my boyfriend and I got in a fight. Maybe we still are, I don’t know. What about you?”
Peter stretches his legs, red feet scrape the brick. “My girlfriend went nuclear, kinda deserved. But, she also really hurt my feelings.”
“Did you hurt her feelings too?”
“Does that make it deserved?”
Silence. It didn’t.
Peter watches you twiddle your thumbs, chewing on your bottom lip and sniffing.
“I’m sure she’s really sorry, and she knows whatever she said hit a soft spot. It seems like your job comes with some downsides, and maybe she kept it all bottled up until she couldn’t anymore, because how do you tell a superhero you want their attention more than a city needs protection?”
He knows what you mean, he knows how selfish it could sound, but it’s not. You’re allowed to want him around every second, because he does too.
“You don’t.”
Peter can feel your eyes, “you don’t tell the superhero, you tell your boyfriend.”
Your throat clears, “what if he’s both? What if he’s already spread too thin and his whining girlfriend is his last straw?”
“No. He’s not spread too thin. He was unaware of how you felt, he didn’t know how much it bothered you. He didn’t know how far he pushed you away.”
“So what changes now he knows?”
Peter breaks character, this is about real solutions.
“We figure it out. We’ll go home and look at our schedules and work around it, and have a set day where it’s only us. Twice a month we’ll have a standing date, attendance mandatory. The police scanner gets turned off unless it’s a slow night, and from now on, unless it’s a domestic attack, nothing comes before you.”

A brief defense of a Boss & a Babe
So I’ve never added commentary like this before (usually prefer to sit back and enjoy the hot takes 🔥 & analyses from those much more informed & eloquent), but from what I’ve seen the consensus is ABAB is at the least disappointing and at the most infuriating. And I won’t lie I didn’t vibe with the first episode. But I’ve now watched the second and I’ve got thoughts (and feelings). To preface I had very little expectations going in. This is my first ForceBook experience & I didn’t really care for the premise or trailer, but thought I’d give it a try. And it’s not only more entertaining than I expected, but also kinda…deep? Just kidding I’m def going to bullet point this ish. Plz forgive my awful formatting idk what I’m doing
Boss is relatable. I read him as introverted and depressed (maybe from a break up and/or homophobic trauma?). It’s already hard to make friends as an adult when you’re introverted so I can only imagine how hard it is to make friends with coworkers who are clearly trying to keep their distance from you. My guy is lonely. Especially when they’re telling the new guy how cold & distant you are. My head cannon is nobody in the office is a reliable narrator because no one has bothered to GET TO KNOW boss/gun.
I didn’t like Cher at first because I read him as a silly kinda ditzy character, but I was wrong. I kinda love that he’s not afraid to show his concern for boss because that’s exactly what boss needs. Someone to cross the professional line and say “hey I know you’re not ok and I wanna be there for you”. Fuck professionalism in this rat race of a world, you need a friend. Maybe there are some problematic ethics at play, but it’s a BL ok there are plenty of other plots I hold a suspension of disbelief for so honestly not too far fetched imo
Even though they kissed in episode 2, I feel like the emotional build up of their relationship will be more of a slow burn and I love how realistic that is. I truly believe these two characters are both physically attracted to each other and want to have an emotional connection. I love the ForceBook chemistry. It’s both fun-flirty but also very affectionate. The way Cher is kind of sarcastic and silly to try & cheer up Boss reminds me of my relationship with my partner so maybe I am a little biased but their connection feels very realistic to me
About the kiss. I loved it. It was flirty, it was intimate and it made sense for the moment. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think Cher invited Boss up to his room to seduce him. I think he offered a warm, welcoming place to spend time after Boss told him he usually works late and then goes home alone. Cher knows how lonely Boss is and his genuine concern for him is so sweet. From inviting him up for noodles to inviting him to BBQ to meet his friends (and normalize having queer friends) is just so damn considerate & touching. Cher really seems to have the truest of intentions & I think I would be his real life bestie cheering him & boss on the sidelines, seriously. Maybe I’m problematic lmao
Did I mention I love we got a kiss in episode 2? I’m out here manifesting the break in the typical episode 5/6 kiss especially for these office BLs. Again it’s way more realistic for them to kiss each other at this point in their relationship & for the tone of the show. Sometimes I think a good timed kiss is way more impactful than a dramatic emotional yearning kiss 5 episodes in but maybe that’s just me. More playful, sweet early kisses plz & thank you 🙏🏻
I’m excited for more. Haven’t seen episode 3 yet as of this writing. Fingers crossed their relationship continues to be a sweet, supportive slow burn and not a dumpster fire so I don’t regret writing my first ever BL analysis 🤪

I just went to the kny premiere and this is my OOTD.
Since my hair is partially dyed pink, I went for a Mitsuri inspired look. I braided my hair, wore her shirt (that I got from the swordsmith premiere) and wore all her colors (pink white jacket, green skirt, and flower patterned socks.) Also close up of my pink hair below.
I got this idea when me and my friend were window shopping for clothes. We were talking abt which clothes the kny characters would wear and which ones our oc would wear too, so that's how we thought of doing some casual cosplay during the priemere.
My friend went for a subtle Tengen look, with a simple black outfit, since Tengen doesnt wear a haori. He also wore some jewelry as an homage to Tengens flashiness. He also loves Zenitsu so ofc he wore a Zenitsu bag.
The theater has less people and wasn't as lively as the Swordsmith premiere, probably cuz we went at the wrong time, but hey, more room for us to be unhinged without disrupting anyone tho haha. (I was sad not to see any cosplayers, we intended to bring our cosplayer friend too, but she was busy)
There was a display so we took lots of pictures. We even made sure to stand next to our fictional crushes, me with Giyuu and my friend with Tengen.
Anyways here's what I thought abt the movie so far
-first of all I LOVE IT. I have no idea how much I miss seeing the rest of the characters so much. The Hashira Training arc is an arc that I really adore, bc it's one of the few moments where we get to see the characters slow down a bit. My friend says he finds it to be the most boring arc, but idk, with all the action in KNY I dig for some "boringness" once in awhile. Also we were joking abt how this arc is like the "school festival arc" or "beach episode" of KNY, again, one of the reasons to love this arc.
-I Never thought much about Sanemi and Obanai's dynamic before. I just know they are a besties, but this filler really made me interested in them! Snake breathing and Wind breathing visuals were just sooo cool!!
-Have I mention that I miss the cast so much, but also I find myself foaming at the mouth everytime I see Giyuu 💀🤣 I noticed that there seems to be a sad piano music that's playing when he was trying to leave the meeting (I wonder if that is his ost) meanwhile my friend is foaming at the mouth everytime he sees Tengen.
-I feel bad for anyone in the butterfly estate who had to sleep next to Zenitsu and Inosuke. XD
-Also it's so nice to see some Kanao and Shinobu moment! Shinobu looks extra gorgeous I noticed. They really yassified her this season, and I'm not complaining. Also I like how even after Giyuu left, Shinobu tried her best to include him when they were discussing the pillar training. I wish they didnt cut it short though, I wanna know what they talk about Giyuu behind close doors so bad lol.
-Mitsuri's "Tanjiro speech" was so well executed and adorable, and just when I thought it couldn't get more expressive in the manga, then they even added her ost, and it was just perfect! Kanahana knock it out of the park with this one too! Even if there weren't alot of people watching. I did hear some giggles in this scene (including ourselves)
-Overall, it was a very satisfying watch. I really enjoy this arc for being some of the slower moments before the storm that is the final arc, and I think they managed to nail that! All the little things such as the filler of Tamayo being informed about Shinobu helping her, and some scenes that were rearranged, made the flow of the story go more smoothly.
-Also yes the op really slaps.
Speaking of our cosplayer friend that we mentioned before, after we were done with movie, it's almost as if there was some fate or foreshadowing going on bc we did end up stumbling upon her (though not in cosplay) and we ended up going back to take better pictures with her in it!

OHHHH MY GOD. Just finished episode five of scavengers reign. If I wasn't sold on this show before I sure as hell am now. where do I even begin?
I love that there wasn't like an hour long build up episode explaining All the Lore. All the information. Some people like that but for me I love that you're thrown into these people not really knowing much. I LOVE the slowly telling you more about their lives! I love the conclusions you can draw about them. Azi pushes people away and gets lost in her work, she doesn't know how to maintain relationships. She doesn't know how to relate to people. Ursula is extremely determined but also just...never stopping for a second. Never stops to check in with herself, never lets herself stop for a second. Sam doesn't trust people easily. He's extremely logic oriented. Emotions confuse him. He's angry and stubborn and can't see past his own nose sometimes. He never takes shit into account. Kamen is so many things at once. He's selfish. He makes everything about him. He's controlling. He's extremely depressed and fears loss or things slipping out of control. He fears change. He needs everyone to respect him. He treats people badly because he takes ANYTHING as a personal attack that he has to "stand up for himself" against. He's suicidal. He genuinely loves Fiona and yet has no respect for her autonomy. He doesn't value the lives of the people around him. He holds at least some worry for the crew. But was that just for Fiona? I don't know yet and that's why it's so COOL. I love that they don't tell us everything immediately! They space out different information reveals so it can be taken in! They let you get to know the characters in five episodes before even revealing how the ship got there. And that's what makes the realization what happened actually effective! You knew enough about the characters to care! You know enough about why they act how they do to go, oh FUCK. This is a show you cannot watch with a binge culture mindset or you won't enjoy it it's so good.
Ursula and Sam's dynamic is really cool, hope to see more of how they met/ended up teaming up in these next episodes! I like it's not like. They're besties they're inseparable. it's two people who had to team up and did, and now they might bond. They're not friends yet, they don't dislike each other. They respect each other a lot and I dunno, it's kinda cool to see a completely neutral relationship in fiction.
Sam not apologizing to Ursula and instead kinda implying it. "Without your instincts", as in "I'm sorry I doubted your sense of danger. You wouldn't do something stupid." and also "Thank you for not leaving me alone even though, yeah, you could." Sam's rage at Kamen really adds a lot to him. Ursula so far isn't grabbing me but hey there's episodes left currently out and more to come out! There's gonna be a lot of depth most likely. I am VERY excited for it.
I fucking love Levi. I love their arc so far. I love their being scared of going back to how they were. Unfeeling and not making their own choices. They were never happy before. Theyd never had wants before. It was wonderful. And them being upset at Azi was just??? So good. You treat me like I still have no autonomy. I'm not going to hurt you. Why are you treating me like me enjoying things now and acting differently than I'm supposed to is bad when I'm just existing? I'm helping you. This makes me happy. Why are you upset? Also the scene where she saw her own hands fucked very hard not gonna lie.
Azi realizing, oh. They're a person now. They feel things. That...would be shitty to ask a person to do, huh? Her growing is so good. Her realizing all the times she pushed people out. All the assumptions she made about everything. Her respecting Levi more! Her realizing, okay I need to be nicer to them She...feels it. When I say something they'll feel it. Her telling Levi they're their own person now, and just,, idk I REALLY love them. Azi has so much implications and I love her. The pain about her being so lonely and shoving people out. Never stopping to be around anyone. And her finding companionship on the being that called her out on her shit. Goddd. Something about her treating them better than we see her so far treat a lot of other people. This planet being introduced as Horrific and it still is but it's also just a planet. It's just animals trying to survive. It's just nature and she has to adapt and make it make more sense as she grows.
Kamen....man. The way they've been telling his story with Fiona....at first him thinking the weird creature is her. Then Charlie making him realize no wait is she still there. Then. No. She's gone.
I love the set up to the fiona isn't alive. I saw it coming but it's not treated as a plot twist, it's treated as a realization for the characters. And that is so so much better sometimes. Like you can see it coming and yet kamens reaction, even if he's a horrible person, is still so gut wrenching.
Him being suicidal is STILL so gutwrenching. Because they show you how he feels. They show you, yeah. He loves her. He's a bad person but he has feelings even if he's selfish about them. And the fact none of the other characters have cried before makes seeing HIM much more impactful. He's not a good person but seeing anyone accept assumed death Hurts. And that's what fucks you up.
Man. This fucking show. That shot of the creature kinda consuming Kamen was horrifying and I love it. Still not done so no spoilers but god. This show is fucking good and I need to meet more people into it. I fucking love it.

y/n is stablers daughter (maybe richard and Lizzie had a triplet?? Idk she was besties w olivia before she moved w her parents to Italy) and she met sonny when she moved back for college and maybe he introduces her to the team at their engagement dinner (both of their families are there too) and liv realizes that it’s her and they have a cute reunion
and there’s also lil bits and pieces of her and sonnys relationship (maybe a little bit of Elliot being a super protective dad)
I changed this from Elliot's daughter to his younger sister :)
One second you were looking in a shop window, the next you were sprawled on the sidewalk with the contents of your purse scattered in front of you. The man that knocked you down didn’t even turn around to look at you.
“No, excuse me,” you mumbled to yourself.
“Are you okay?” a man asked you. He gently grasped your elbow helping you stand.
You assessed your injuries which were a scraped elbow and knee. “Uh- I think I’m okay,” you answered. “Nothing major.”
“Here,” he said, handing your purse along with your belongings back to you.
“Thank you, um…,” you started.
“Dominick but friends call me Sonny,” said with a smile. “And you’re welcome.”
The man grinned and you lost all the air in your lungs. He was gorgeous. His blue eyes sparkled and when he smiled his eyes crinkled at the corners. The dimples. Have mercy on your soul. His dimples made you weak in the knees..
You shook your head. “Sonny. I’m Y/N.”
“You need to clean these up,” Sonny instructed, looking at your lacerations.
“It’s nothing,” you insisted.
He furrowed his brow. “This one looks to be bleeding quite a bit,” he commented. “I have a first aid kit in my car.” He directed you to a bench. “Wait here. I’ll grab it.”
Sonny jogged down the street to his car. He was tall, slim, and agile and you couldn’t stop watching him.
The phone ringing in your purse made you jump. “Hello?”
“Hey, kid. Where are you?” your brother Elliot asked.
You bristled at the nickname. Elliot had called you ‘kid’ since you could remember. It drove you bonkers. A fact he Elliot knew, hence why he still used it.
“On my way. Fell and have a couple of scraps,” you told him.
“Where are you? I’ll pick you up.” You heard the frustration in his voice.
“No. No. It’s fine. Sonny is helping me,” you informed him. About that time Sonny reappeared with the first aid kit.
“Who the hell is Sonny?” Elliot asked with a bit of panic in his voice.
“He stopped to help me,” you said.
Sonny held up the kit. “Alright. Got it.”
“Y/N! What have I told you about talking to strangers?” Elliot demanded. “Do I need to remind you that you’re in New York City now?”
The overprotective brother as always. You knew he meant well and his overprotectiveness was a product of his years on the job so you tried to appease him. But sometimes you just couldn’t help yourself but goad him.
“Nope. I’m totally oriented,” you responded. “ Well, he doesn’t look like a serial killer.”
Sonny gave you a questioning look to which you winked at him.
“Y/N. I swear…” Elliot huffed.
“I’m sorry, I was just joking,” you relented. “I’ll be back shortly.”
“Text me when you’re on your way,” Elliot said. “Love you. Bye.”
“Will do,” you assured him. “Bye. Love you too.”
“Boyfriend?” Sonny asked as he cleaned the cut on your knee.
“Oww. No. My big brother. He’s a little overbearing at times,” you explained.
Sonny blew on the cut, put ointment on it then applied a band-aid. “I have a younger sister and two older sisters and I am very protective. It’s in the job description,” he joked.
“Obviously,” you responded. “Elliot was a detective, well still is just in a different capacity.”
Sonny brightened. “Oh, yeah? I was a detective as well.”
“Really? Here in New York or somewhere else?” you inquired.
As Sonny was going to answer your question his phone pinged, then pinged again. “Sorry. That’s work.”
“No problem. I need to get going anyway. Thanks again, Sonny,” you said, picking up your purse.
“You’re welcome. Uh, here’s my card. Maybe we can meet up sometime for coffee,” he suggested.
“I’d like that,” you said, accepting the business card. “I’ll text you so you have my number too.”
He grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “Looking forward to hearing from you.”
“I’m home!” you called out. Right now “home” was a hotel suite. It was unclear how much longer Elliot would stick around. He was working through Kathy’s death. All of you were. Kathy had been one of your best friends but that was nothing compared to the loss felt by Elliot and the kids.
Elliot looked around the corner of the kitchen. “About time. I was about to call the commissioner.”
You rolled your eyes. “I got everything finished for school.” After obtaining your CRNA, you decided to continue your education and get your doctorate. “And I found an apartment. I’m going to sign papers tomorrow.”
“Whoa. What a minute. Where is the apartment?” he asked.
“Hamilton Heights. It’s an upstairs, 1 bedroom. I’ll show you the pictures,” you offered. “It’s really nice. Great neighborhood.”
“Let me see,” Elliot grumbled. He swiped through the pictures. “I thought we were going to look at it together?”
“I had to sign today or someone else would have taken it,” you explained. “You worry too much.”
Elliot sighed. “I’ll never stop worrying,” he said softly then kissed the crown of your head.
“I know,” you answered.
Before you moved in Elliot installed a heavy-duty chain and deadbolt on the door, replaced several of the window locks, and surveyed the outside of the building. The next day he went undercover and had been since. Maureen and Kathleen went back to Italy, Dickie and Elizabeth moved to California and Jr went to live with your mom.
The solitude was nice at first but you quickly got lonely. You hadn’t made any significant friendships with anyone at work yet, or at school.
One evening, a couple of weeks after moving in, the central air went out in your apartment so you decided to go for a walk and explore the neighborhood. You had meant to do it sooner but work and school had you pretty busy.
As you rounded the corner, you saw Sonny sitting outside one of the sidewalk bistros. He was as beautiful as the first time you saw him.
“You here alone?” you asked when you walked up to the table.
“Not now that you’re here,” he replied with a grin. Sonny stood and pulled out the chair across from him.
“Thanks,” you said, returning his smile. “What brings you to my neighborhood?”
“Your neighborhood? I’ve loved here for six years. You’re on my territory missy,” he said in return.
“We gonna have a turf war?” you joked.
Sonny smirked. “For you, I’ll make an exception.”
That evening turned into days, weeks, and months. A chance meeting turned into a friendship that blossomed into love. Sonny was the best thing to happen to you in a long time. You were one lucky girl.
Your cat, Humphrey, jumped onto your lap. You stroked his long, soft fur. He purred in appreciation. When you were trying to figure out dinner your phone pinged. It was a text from Sonny.
‘I miss you. I hope you had a great day.’ It was followed by a five heart emojis
‘Miss you too.’ Typically Sonny came over for dinner or you went to his place. He told you at the beginning of the week that he would be swamped with a case, so you bought TV dinners to make every night. It wasn’t that you couldn’t cook, you didn’t like to cook for just yourself.
‘Need a big favor. Can you go to my apartment and pick up a file for me? I’m sorry. It’s a lot to ask.’
He had forgotten files before and sent someone from the court to get them so you were caught off guard but agreed. ‘Of course. I’ll bring you dinner.’ You were giddy with the thought of actually getting to see your boyfriend.
‘Thanks, doll. Love you lots!’
‘Love you too, Sonny.’
“Crap,” you muttered to yourself as you fished in your purse for the key to Sonny’s apartment. “Where the hell is it?” You sigh in relief when your search was successful. The key slid into the lock and turned easily.
“Couldn’t find your key, huh?” Sonny asked.
“Jesus, Mary and Joseph,” you gasped, clutching your chest. “What are you doing here?”
Sonny grinned and gestured around. “Well, I live here.”
“I thought that…” you trailed off when you actually took the time to look around the room. “What is all this?” There were flowers, candles, and a bucket with a bottle of champagne on the table.
Sonny went to one knee then pulled a small box from his pocket and our hand went to your mouth. He cleared his throat. “I can’t put into words how much I love you. I love you in ways that I have never loved anyone before. I want to build a life with you. Will you marry me?” Sonny opened the velvet-lined box to reveal a stunning cushion cut diamond solitaire set in a platinum pave band.
“Oh, Sonny! Of course, I’ll marry you!” you exclaimed.
Sonny took your hand. His hand trembled slightly as he slid it on your finger. When he looked up at you he had tears in his eyes that matched yours. Sonny stood and gathered you in his arms.
“I love you so much, Sonny,” you said as your arms wrapped around his neck.
“Not as much as I love you,” he whispered into your ear.
“Y/N?” Liv asked when you walked into the restaurant that was holding your engagement party.
“Liv! It’s so good to see you,” you said as the two of you embraced. The last you saw Liv was at Kathy’s funeral and it wasn’t a pleasant exchange between her and Eliott or the kids.
Sonny furrowed his brow. “You already know one another?”
“Yeah. My brother, Eliott, and Liv were partners for years,” you explained.
Liv released you then playfully punched Sonny’s arm. “You're the one he helped after you got knocked over, right? He has been talking about you non-stop.”
“Why didn’t you tell me Liv was your old captain?” you asked.
Sonny rubbed the spot on his arm that Liv hit. “I didn’t realize-”
“If it isn’t Y/N,” Fin said, embracing you as Liv did.
The evening was fantastic. You reconnected with people you hadn’t seen for years and made new friends. It hit you then, this was your family and you would never be alone.

I loved Ted and Brian’s friendship so much. Wish we had more scenes of it, especially since Scott and Gale are such close friends. I always thought it was so cute how Ted called Brian ‘Bri’ every once in a while, i swear he was like the only one to do it. Although it’d be pretty cool if we had a moment where Justin called him that but oh well
Hey anon!
The growth of their friendship is so beautiful and meaningful to see across the seasons. We go from Ted's deep seated jealousy of Brian and wanting desperately to be him, taking any opportunity to throw a jab his way. Brian's disdain at Ted's fear of going for the things he wanted but always bitching about it and mocking him over it. To Ted gaining Brian's respect on both a business and personal level and Brian finding a true friend in Ted and actually enjoying his company.
The scene I giffed today is a perfect example of how far they've come because we have Brian 'I'm scared of feelings' Kinney volunteering the information about being cancer free to Ted. Not Justin or Michael but Ted. That's a huge landmark for him and yes he's not with Justin at that moment and he's fallen out with Michael but still... he sees Ted as a safe and comfortable space to share his news.
Ted's reaction says it all, he literally leaps from his seat and gives Brian a hug which he accepts he doesn't shrug him off and then Brian does his terrible impression of an Australian accent, if that's not love idk what is 😭
I also love that Gale and Scott finally got to work so closely together as work besties in fiction seeing as they are in real life besties too. They have such good chemistry and comedic timing with each other, (honestly Gale has chemistry with everyone) great for them and for us <3
I have always had a Bri/Theodore gifset on my to do list but it would require me to actually rewatch the whole show and jot down each occurrence and honestly I'm not built for that level of concentration or the time it would take. But seeing as I'm randomly watching episodes here and there I will make a concerted effort to note it should I hear it lmao.

Hey, I've quickly become a bit obsessed with your sword of fate au, and I had like a couple questions about what it would actually be like as a game. First off, open world or linear style quest like the old games? Also, what style would you want art-wise? Botw, or more cartoony, or something else? And is zelda a princess, and you go to the castle, or not? Just curious, thanks!!
yeahhh ok so i think it would be linear quest style, more similar to like wind waker almost where the world is TECHNICALLY open but certain things have to be done in a specific order to progress the story. i've got it set up like the older zelda titles with 3 dungeons/inciting incident/6 dungeons/final boss fight.
artstyle wise.. i mean i would like it to be as similar to the style i draw in as possible tbh since i just cant picture the characters any other way. idk how well my style would translate to like. 3d models tho. in terms of like environment artstyle i think i'd like to find a happy medium between skyward sword and botw, with the brighter colors and more cartoony solid shapes of skswkind of merged with the realism botw has, if that makes sense? i think most zelda games really benefit from bright colors and stylized art so i'd definitely want some of that vibe in sof.
zelda is a princess!! sof takes place fairly close to the beginning of hyrule's existence (around 200-300 years after sksw i think) so this zelda is actually the first reincarnation in the line after sksw zelda. She is a princess in title, but since hyrule is still a really young nation at this point the royal family's authority isn't super absolute and hyrule is really just kinda a scattering of human settlements that like. technically recognize the royal family's authority, but there's not a ton of governing power.
you do spend some time in the castle, but the castle isn't the final battle's loaction--that's the temple of time, where the secondary antagonist brings zelda and the 6 sages in order to revive demise. the game would actually start in the castle, with link as a stablehand and zelda as his bestie. you learn why link's there--he's trying to get information on his missing (kidnapped) sister--and that he's been there for a few months with no luck, and our inciting incident happens; another kidnapping. there are a lot of kidnappings in this story because, as i mentioned, it's structured like older zelda games and those games fucking loved kidnapping women. i can go into more detail about the actual story of the game if you're interested but it's basically standard zelda structure lol. the beauty of this franchise is that a lot of the story is written for you via the nature of the lore

A/N: I got an ask on Tumblr from one of my besties on Tumblr and I loved writing it, ty bae! :D
The request: yo lady I got a request and you prob know who its from even if its a anon lol anyways back when y/n was a minor, but like younger like 14 idk the members wanted to go out drinking but the didn't want y/n to be alone all night so they left Y/n with Jiwon Jisun and Jiheon from fromis_9 and at first y/n didn't wanna go because she didn't know them well but after seeing that Jisun was comforting and motherly like Jihyo Jiheon was calm and funny like Tzuyu and Jiwon was playful and loud like Dahyun and Nayeon y/n begged to stay longer then just one night..(Jihyo said no) (A/N: Yes, I do know it's you boo lmao ily)

It was a Friday evening, and the members of TWICE were excitedly discussing their plans for the night. They had been working hard, promoting their latest comeback, and they were looking forward to some well-deserved relaxation. However, the thought of leaving Y/N alone for the entire night didn't sit well with them. The girl was the youngest member of TWICE, still just 14 years old, and they wanted to ensure her safety and make sure she had a good time too. With that, Jihyo, as the leader and mother number 1 (lmao), came up with a brilliant idea. She knew the members of fromis_9 and believed they would be the perfect company for their kid. She called up Jiwon, Jisun, and Jiheon and explained the situation. The fromis_9 members were more than happy to help out, seeing it as a chance to bond with TWICE and take care of their cute maknae.
When TWICE informed Y/N about their plan, she felt a mix of anxiety and curiosity. She didn't know the fromis_9 girls well and wasn't sure if she would be comfortable spending the night with them. She expressed her concerns to her Omma Jihyo, who reassured her that the fromis_9 members that were coming (and the ones that weren't too but that's not the case lol) were kind-hearted and would take good care of her. As the night approached, the maknae found herself at the dorm where fromis_9 stayed, it was nice and cosy. She was greeted by Jiwon, Jisun, and Jiheon, who welcomed her warmly. Jisun, with her gentle smile and caring demeanour, reminded Y/N of Jihyo in some way, maybe the motherly vibe (Jisun is the mom in Fromis_9 so it makes total sense and I love it sm). Jisun sensed TWICE's sunshine's nervousness and immediately went out of her way to make her feel at home.
Jisun - Hey, cutie! Don't worry, we're here to make sure you have a great night. Let's start by ordering some of your favourite food and getting comfortable.
Jisun sat the younger girl down and asked her about her hobbies, interests, and dreams. They discovered their shared love for singing and dancing, and Jisun encouraged Y/N to pursue her passions wholeheartedly.
Jisun - You're so talented, kiddo! Don't be afraid to shine and follow your dreams. We'll always support you.
TWICE's angel couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and security in Jisun's presence. It was as if she had found an older sister in her, someone she could confide in and look up to. Meanwhile, Jiheon displayed a calm and collected personality that reminded the maknae of her Tzuyu unnie. She was quiet but had a mischievous spark in her eyes. Jiheon had a unique way of making Y/N laugh, her witty comments always made her giggle. As Jiheon began to speak she pulled out her phone.
Jiheon - Hey, sis, let me show you something cool.
She started playing a funny video, and soon both of them were laughing uncontrollably. Jiheon's fun-loving nature instantly drew Y/N closer to her, as she began to see her as a cool and funny older sister figure. They shared stories, jokes, and silly dance moves, creating a bond that would last beyond that one night. Lastly, there was Jiwon, who had a playful and loud personality that reminded Y/N of Dahyun and Nayeon. Jiwon's energy was infectious, and she had an incredible talent for making any situation fun and exciting. pulling out a colourful game from the shelf Jiwon spoke excitedly.
Jiwon - Honey, let's play a game! I have this board game that I've been dying to try. It's going to be so much fun!
Jiwon initiated various games and challenges throughout the night, ensuring that the youngest was fully entertained. They laughed, cheered, and celebrated each other's victories, creating a lively and upbeat atmosphere. As the night progressed, Y/N started to feel more at ease in the company of Jiwon, Jisun, and Jiheon. They listened to her stories, shared their own experiences, and created memories together. She soon realized that she didn't want this night to end, so she begged Jihyo to let her stay longer, hoping to spend more time with her newfound friends.
Y/N - Please, Jihyo unnie! They're so much fun, and I feel so comfortable around them. *puppy eyes*
Jihyo, being the responsible leader she was, gently declined her child's request. She explained that it was important for Y/N to have a consistent routine and a stable environment. Jihyo promised that there would be more opportunities in the future for the maknae to spend time with Jiwon, Jisun, and Jiheon. Though disappointed, Y/N understood Jihyo's reasoning. She bid her farewell to her fromis_9 sisters, thanking them for their kindness and promising to meet again soon. As Y/N left the dorm, she carried with her a heart full of gratitude and cherished memories from that one unforgettable night. Little did she know that in the years to come, she would cross paths with Jiwon, Jisun, and Jiheon once again. They would all become even closer friends, sharing laughter, tears, and dreams together. But for now, the girl returned home, feeling a sense of growth and gratitude for the precious bond she had formed with the members of fromis_9. And as she remembered everything when she laid in bed, she could only have one thought:

Hello besties!!!!!! We back, and I missed you guys a lot! ✨❤✨ And oh yeah, I saw an extension that would revert the dash to normal and I had to have it. It's working wonders, but I'm waiting to see if they can fix making posts because this stuff is like terrifying 😭😭 I do love the editing tags and autosaving though...won't replace me writing all my replies in Google Docs and slapping them onto Tumblr but hey it's great! I also have a few muses to introduce (forgot to inform you guys I got back into FNAF...oh god--but don't worry they'll have their own multimuse blog), but I might save those when I get all the blogs I'm working on figured out.
Also I updated the rules a bit! I don't know why I wouldn't ship Claude pre-timeskip like with his fellow students???? I'm alright with that??? For Chris
So basically because I'm such a gene ass with my foresight or whatever I have multiple RE verses for Chris and Zack to interact in or whatever, so we'll go chronological!!! Kinda!! More or less I do have a revelations verse where Zack works with the B.S.A.A (just made sense) and so there's the possibility of Zack being in contact with Chris and Jessica (shit talking Jessica in his mind because something's off abt her to him and he does not trust her), possibly giving more details or even exchanging information with one another some time between the sinking of the Queen Semiramis and Queen Zenobia and the exploration of the last ship that I cannot remember the name of, ofc that'd be around the point where Zack has to kill Angeal.
THEN there's the in between of the prequel DLC to re5 and re5 itself where Zack briefly ends up paired up with Chris on the occasional mission, both of which sort of help each other grasp that they're not responsible for their partner's deaths (or ig death for Angeal and Jill's going MIA bc we know she ain't dead LMFAO)
Ofc there's also re6, where Zack could briefly cross paths with Chris and Piers (me when I bust out my Piers knowledge and hcs bc I wrote him for like two years) or Zack communicating updates to Chris as captain of the team beta or whateva, also possibly helping Chris cope with the loss of Piers or being the one to help with getting Chris out of the ocean and chatting about the after math in the "haha that didn't happen" kind of way or whatever, maybe dinner together like in Chris's ending scene because two dudes having steak hehe
And finally there's also the re8 verse!!! Zack is No Longer affiliated with the B.S.A.A and is now a mercenary that takes on jobs he feels people need his assistance or whatever and so he's chilling in the village trying to protect the villagers or whateva, this one is Not Developed Much but I could see some odd little "hey I know you 🤨" shenanigans going on, possible reminiscing before they blOW UP THE VILLAGE LFMWJDBS idk idk
Anyways for Squall 🥰
This one could def be a little bit on the harder side since it heavily depends on which part of the timeline you're wanting him in but??? What if after revelations (where Zack kills Angeal bc gotta fuck up his life somehow) Squall ends up being assigned Zack's new partner on missions or whatever, be it for basic recon or straight up clean up of B.O.W shenanigans or whatever, something something opening up to a new partner + working with someone who I imagine prefers to work solo being new (me when they'll probably end up kissing on the mouth idk/j) or we could def have them bump into each other in raccoon city, establish them kinda already knowing each other (Zack getting separated from Angeal??? Crazy but so very likely LMFAOOO) and then going from there? Or they could be mercenary pals for 7/8 too, lots to do for them and it's very flexible which is why I'm struggle bussing!!!
But those are my main ideas for them!!!

Hey I got genshin brain rot and for that I am infodumping every thought I’ve had about my personal AU where everything is the same except Kaeya is a teenager. Like around Bennet & Razor age.he is teen bro
Main Story Bits
Kaeya gets found by Crepus when he is actual baby, does not have any memory of Khaenri'ah save for very vague infant memories of the aesthetic. For a while everyone’s best guess for his origins is that a group from Sumeru had a really unfortunate fate, based on the general wreckage he was found in.
Your usual fluffy headcanons about a happy Ragnvindr childhood. Kaeya never doubts himself as part of the family but he does have this desire to learn more about where he originally came from. He’s real into learning about Sumeru culture and customs and Crepus and Diluc do their best to support it!
Actually doesn’t wear an eyepatch for most of his early life. Crepus took him to a pediatrician and it was like “yeah I guess it’s weird but he doesn’t seem to have vision problems so let’s say heterochromia”
The brothers still have estrangement issues in present times because that’s what happens when you’re like eleven, your dad dies, and your older brother/only living relative leaves to go on a vengeance quest
But also there’s estrangement because on the night of Crepus death /something/ happens. A something that Kaeya can’t fully remember other than it gave him a vision and that clues Diluc in that his baby brother has more intense origins than he thought. Kaeya’s eye is more for just looking pretty, And the Abyss does not need someone to know they are a spy to make use of what they can see.
This doesn’t mean Diluc /blames/ him but it’s definitely sort of a “I have to keep my distance while I’m looking for information to help him to protect Kaeya from the Abyss order” kind of situation and both of their communication is pretty shit
Dilic comes back with the impression that his baby brother has entered his angsty teen phase from how he behaves around him. Kaeya also thinks Diluc is in his angsty teen phase.
Kaeya holds an honorary knight position like the Traveler rather than being an official captain in the Ordo, both due to his age and because he feels he has a bigger duty of being responsible for the winery as the only member of his family in Mondstadt for three years (and there’s no theoretical emotional hang ups for taking up that responsibility like with canon Kaeya) If you are a snooty wine tasting businessman saying he doesn’t know anything about wine when he can’t legally drink it he will humiliate you.
Still has sort of an information network going on but it’s mainly sourced on him publicly being a Good Good Boy and all the grannies in Mondstadt want to give this Nice Young Man the hot goss. Dorothy thinks she’s all that with her prize winning Ceclias but did you hear her grandson is looking into being a Treasure Hoarder? smh smh
Maybe he finds out about the Darknight Hero and forces Diluc into doing some Batman and Robin shit idk.
Other Extra Tidbits
Kaeya and Fischl are besties, eyepatch solidarity. Kaeya had a chunni pirate phase and that’s why he wears the eyepatch.
No one has told him that Grandpa Ragnvindr was not actually a pirate.
Barbara and Kaeya are also friends in a “we had to hang out while our siblings hung out” kind of way
Rosaria is considered by Kaeya to be the coolest person in Mondstadt (and he’s right) and sees her as a role model. Rosaria’s def aware that she should probably be a responsible adult to keep him from going down a similar path as her but she is not. The best. At role modeling. She will let him have cigarettes if he asks is all I am saying.
Actually he and Bennett are also ride or die. Oh you can’t handle being part of Benny’s adventure team? Sad. Kaeya’s built different. Bennett will also be brought along to ask Rosaria for cigarettes behind the church.
If anyone does wanna do anything with these ideas you can totally go for it as long as there’s proper crediting. I sort of have a plot hook idea of “ Canon Diluc goes into a funky domain, comes out and learns he swapped places with his alternate self and has to Deal With It and uncovering what sort of research Alt!Diluc was doing.”, but that is also open because me gathering enough spoons together to write a narrative story is a pipe dream.

ill be honest ( and this is a very very horrible take probably ) but i have come to kinda hate the int novels,,, like why do i need to do so much preliminary reading just to understand stuff about anything anymore ?? plus i kinda liked it when tobi didnt really have a clear backstory if that makes sense ?? to me it was more fun to read knk and just pick up all of the little tobi backstory crumbs whenever they showed up and just overanalyze the crap out of them,, so for those reasons i now refuse to read any of the int novels just out of spite,,, am i normal for thinking this or am i absolutely out of my mind, please help me
Hey bestie there’s no need to feel bad about not liking the novels y’know? I understand where you coming from it’s kinda annoying to have to really get immerse into something and read a whole lot sometimes, it’s like going to a wiki page to get context in stuff and I understand how it’s more fun to just put the pieces together to discover who Tobi really is with the little information the manga and MVs give us, like all the things and headcanons we can come up with are basically being destroyed by the fact Tobi now has a backstory and I can see why that’s not appealing at all.
I don’t think it’s a bad take but more like personal preference, you don’t have to like them just like you don’t have to like every piece of media/song Eve releases if only people knew how many Eve songs I don’t like I would be hunted like a witch.
Idk if this works as a recommendation but I think the best you can do is think of novel Tobi and manga Tobi as two different people in two different time lines, Eve said it himself, the manga is one thing and the novels are something else so it wouldn’t be weird or out of place to think of them as two separate stories and not of it as a prequel to the manga. I think is more fun that way, if we think about time lines where things just happen differently, you can play more around that idea me thinks.
I feel you are ok the way you are anon like I said, you don’t have to like or engage with every piece of media Eve throws at us. The novels are meant to be enjoyed and if you don’t enjoy them then you don’t have to read them as simple as that. It’ll be kinda annoying talking with people about this sort of thing tho bc mostly will take these novels as canon and they will most likely throw it to your face and be like “it’s canon it was in the novels” but my advice is to just ignore that. If to you Tobi has no past revealed yet then he doesn’t! He’s your blorbo you can do whatever you want with him!
Also, the little we’ve seen from Tobi’s past in the manga kinda deviates from the novels so…who knows? Unless there’s something that really ties the novels and manga together it’s better if we see both as self contained stories.
Sorry I’m rambling idk if this is what you wanted to hear (or well read) but it’s like my take on it
