Tbh like i understand deadloch has a whole overarching point and Cath being the killer would fuck it up, but alsoo I rly love the concept of Cath killing the men who made her wife and friends lives hell. Au where Cath finds out about what Phil did by accident (like Dulcie didnt tell her she found out somehow, maybe noticed some stuff right after it happened and started looking deeper into it) and that’s when her murders go from just being killings of generally shitty men throughout the town, to specifically guys who hurt her wife.

See this is why I said at least 6, because Stella hadn't really crossed my mind? Somehow? But yeah the light thing makes sense I think, so I'll allow it. She can join. Actually looking back about an hour ago, I mostly added villains?? That's so problematic of me, now she simply MUST join! If only for balance.

Moving on- Yes, Duman can see shrimp colors, same reason Kalshara and Brafilius (from season 7) can. Them being mostly cat and dog respectively doesn't impact this all that much, could probably sneeze too hard and suddenly see no color. Amateurs. They all have their little animal bs going on and have successfully unlocked shrimp colors.

Next we have Roxy, y'know, fairy of animals. I'm of the firm belief she has spells for this. Shrimp eyes activate. The enemy doesn't stand a chance. Don't underestimate a girl and her shrimp colors.

Then there's Tritannus, now, you might be thinking "Is it because he's a merman? Shouldn't the other merpeople also see shrimp colors then?" and to that I say NO. He can't see shrimp colors because he's a merman, he sees them because he's mutated. It took radioactive waste for him to unlock the shrimp colors.

Finally, we have Darkar, who looks a bit like a shrimp. That's all I got. Also a magical devil-like creature being part shrimp is extremely funny to me. Infinitely funnier than part bird is.

To make up for the angst yesterday, here's a soft Jake thought lol

I stand by what I said previously about Jake not being into PDA. But when you're home, I think he does a lot of soft touches. You're doing the dishes. He'll come up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist and give small quick kisses in the space between your shoulder and neck. You're sitting at your desk doing some work. He'll come up and gently comb his fingers through your hair. Reading a book on the couch, he'll come sit beside you and brush your hair behind your ear and pull your legs onto his lap. Standing on the back porch, taking in the morning air, he'll come out with a cup of your favorite coffee or tea and kiss your cheek as he pulls you closer to enjoy the quiet together.
