“We need more flawed, amoral, complex female characters with a look at morality from a complex standpoint!”
You bitches can’t even handle Amy March when she was twelve years old.

The great thing about Jo March is no matter how you perceive her she's always queer. She's a lesbian. She's bisexual. He's transmasc. She's demisexual. She's aromantic. She's aroace. She's the whole damn queer community in a package.

There aren't a lot of things in the world capable to make me cry as quick as the fact that the letter telling Amy that Beth was sick never reached her and that she never had the chance to say goodbye to her sister. The next letter that arrived told Amy that Beth had died when Amy didn't even know of her sister's sickness ; that's why she didn't come back while Beth was dying.

Love the little foreshadowing in Little Women when the girls talk about the meadow that looks like the Celestial City and Beth says, "I wish the beautiful country up there was real...I want to fly away at once..." and Jo responds, "You'll get there, Beth, sooner or later."
