Homicidal Liu Headcanons -

TW: Abuse, Religious Trauma, Talk of Hospitals, Murder

Liu is genderfluid and bisexual, and goes by any pronouns.

Margaret and Peter were very controlling over Liu and Jeff as they saw both of them as just extensions of themselves. They did not exactly view either of them as actual people, as their actual kids, and constantly dehumanized them and abused them. They only really cared about them when Liu and Jeff were ruining their reputation in their community, and rarely would say "I love you" to them.

He grew up in a strict Christian household, and now has some religious trauma from how strict their parents were about their practices.

Liu is 4 years older than Jeff, and was a senior when Jeff was a freshman.

Jane and Liu's hospital rooms after the incidents were directly next to each other, with Jane showing up only a week after Liu did. Once Liu was well enough to walk, he went over to Jane's room and sat with Mary as they waited for Jane to wake up from her coma.

The Woods family fortune was partially signed over to Liu after the incident due to the only serving relatives to them being Jeff and Liu. It wasn't a giant sum of money but Liu proceeded to use this money for the motels he and the girls stayed in, as well as helping get Mary's cottage in the woods built, serving as the only sense of home the three had left.

Jane, Liu, and Mary were all staying at a motel while in hiding after running away from the hospital, Liu using what was left of the money left to him after his family's deaths to pay for the rooms. They all shared a room, with Jane and Mary sharing a bed.

Jane and Mary never wanted to turn on the TV in the motel room due to them both being scared to see their parents' faces again on a news channel, so Liu often put the responsibility on himself to watch the news to check what was going on and see how his brother was.

Jeff and Liu reunited when Jeff showed up in front of Liu, Jane, and Mary's motel room in the dead of night. Liu was trying to go out to take a walk, only to open the door to Jeff who was standing outside just about to knock on the door. Liu immediately shut the motel room so Jane and Mary didn't see Jeff, before just staring at Jeff stunned. Jeff tried to talk to Liu to explain himself, but Liu just immediately hugged him, telling him to shut up for a second. The two talked for awhile outside, mostly with Liu just baffled his brother was alive, and Jeff talking about what happened. When asked what was next, Jeff told Liu that he and Nina had been looking for them for months and were wanting them all to run away together. Liu, conflicted, wasn't sure how to react but was spared a response when they heard police sirens. Jeff left, and from then on, Liu was on-and-off in contact with him behind Jane and Mary's back.

After Liu reunited with Jeff, Jane and Mary saw on the news that there was a spotting of Jeff near their area the night before. In fear that Jeff was trying to find them (which he was), the three started constantly jumping towns until they had a decent plan.

They're in a group called The Alliance. The Alliance includes Jane, Mary, himself, and later on, Nina. Liu is technically a spy to make sure Jeff doesn't actually die, but at the same time he is close friends with the three of them and hates that he knows he'll have to betray them at one point.

His relationship with Jeff is pretty strained since Liu wants to forgive him for what he did, but since Liu is still close with Jane and Nina, Liu doesn't know what he should do. It's a situation where he forgives what Jeff did to him, but realizes Jeff hurt people he cares about and Liu doesn't know if he should be allowed to forgive him

Liu has insomnia because he gets very paranoid that someone is going to kill him in his sleep, or that he will wake up to find the people he cares about dead.

Sully isn't a "bad alter" and isn't the reason Liu became a killer, that was just Liu. Sully is just a protector doing his job and protecting the body from people he doesn't trust, one of them being Jeff.

Sully named himself after Sully from Monsters Inc. and now neither anybody in Liu's system or Jeff will let him live it down.

The system as a whole is very split about their opinions on Jeff. Some of them, like Sully, believe that Jeff is a bad person and is a threat to the body and they shouldn't be helping them. Others, like Liu, argue that Jeff is their brother and that Jeff is just hurt and can get better, and that Jeff isn't going to be stable enough for them to leave alone.

There are many many other alters in Liu’s system, and most don't even have names yet. Liu was never able to get any treatment for his DID to try and work things out a bit for a long while, until Ann helped him out, so the headspace is a bit of a mess.

Liu actually got his signature weapon from his first kill, a cop who pointed his weapon at Mary at a gas station where the two are stopped at to get snacks in-between skipping towns again. Liu tackled the cop from behind, wrestling the gun from him before shooting him in a panic. He was absolutely stunned at first, and was so disoriented to the point where Mary had to drag him outside and drive their car away herself.

Liu is currently in a relationship with Eyeless Jack.

Liu taught Jeff how to skateboard, and would often take him to the skate park to practice. Sometimes they would even meet Natalie and Nina down there, considering Natalie had a dirt bike, and Nina rollerblades.

Liu took guitar classes in highschool as an elective.

Liu is an amazing driver, and practically never panics behind the wheel, but since the other alters are not as great at driving, they will panic and will pull over pretty quick after starting. They sometimes will pull Liu to the front by playing "I Never Told You What I Do for a Living" by MCR to get him to drive instead.

Liu loves Supernatural and used to watch it with Jeff a lot, and even has a Dean fictive.

Liu is very protective over Nina, and cares a lot about her platonically, and almost sees her as a little sister.

Liu's favorite animals are foxes.

Liu never got to stim growing up due to being undiagnosed for ADHD, but loves shaking medicine bottles and dice bags.

Liu is very photogenic without meaning to be, but still often never takes photos of himself because he doesn't like how his scars make him look.

Liu taps his fingers on tables a lot when he's stressed or deep in thought.

Jane considers Liu to be the closest thing to a best friend to her, and opens up to him a lot about her worries and stresses.

She officiated Jane and Mary's wedding.

Liu sometimes will tell Jack about how he wished he met him earlier in life, and how he wouldn't have hesitated to run away from his family with Jeff if he knew there was someone out there who would be as caring as Jack always is to him.

Liu is dead silent when he does actually get sleep and will not move, and will even breathe so quietly that Jack used to get worried he was dead when he slept.

Liu x Ej thoughts

Both characters having deep tragedies - one being betrayed by those he knew to a cult and another being betrayed by one of his blood. Both finding comfort in each other through their shared bond of grief. Maybe they don't tell each other what happened, maybe they do. But they still know something happened, and damned if they aren't both willing to make the other feel loved.

I'd imagine Liu would be more of a physical lover, giving chaste kisses, holding the others hand, holding them while they talk about something meaningless. EJ would love by action or gifts - nothing expensive or whatever, but giving the other their time, attention, and thoughts. Showing love through giving them attention.

Liu giving EJ a small kiss on the others head as they sleep, EJ taking Liu to a place he thinks would be cool to go to.

Dunno, they are inherently tragic characters that I want to see love each other, even if one can see the others scars while the other cannot see the deeper one's on their lovers face.

Since Liu doesn't live with Slenderman in the main cabin, they met through Slender assigning them on the same mission.

EJ wasn't expecting much of the boy while taking the kidney of a young woman, he didn't say anything while watching it happen, having already killed his own victim for the night. He just watched.

They're both very quiet people who are good at making sure the police aren't alerted so they began being assigned together more often.

Liu was the first to say anything, having asked how Jeff was doing, they talked about that on their way back from the mission. Slowly, they began speaking more and more to each other, finding out about each other's pasts.

They started taking walks to the stream close to the main cabin together to talk with one another, they enjoyed each other's company but it was Liu who was the first to realize he liked EJ as more than just a friend.

Despite Liu falling first, EJ fell much harder, even in the night when EJ had broken into Liu and Jane's cabin to confess his newfound feelings which were obviously reciprocated by Liu.

They, like I had said in my Masky x EJ headcanons, are also very causal. They talk a lot to each other very often. Since Liu isn't interested in seeing his brother, they either meet in the forest or EJ goes to Liu's cabin. They also enjoy PDA!:)

During one of this normal days, or maybe during calm night? You finally saw him..You were looking at eachothers, not sure what to do - sure, he may be a killer now..but this killer was once your friend? Does he even recognize you? But to your suprise, he just started laughing. It wasn't his casual maniac laughter..this one were more friendly, just like the laugh of him you remembered. The laugh of your best friend. He remembered you..and even if he is way diffrent now, then the part of him is still your best friend. You are finally something good in his miserable life, and he almost felt normal once again. Its funny how you make a man like him smile and sigh in relief, just by your presence. And he doesn't care what he did do somehow deserved you again - all he could do is being grateful for that.

☆ Homicidal Liu

You manage to meet Liu on one, ordinary night. Even if he looked, oh so diffrent, then inside you could still recognize his past self. When it comes to Liu, he couldnt believe his luck in that moment. He craves for sense of normalcy like nothing else, its his only true wish..but now you are here again? He start to remember all this nice moments from his childhood..you were in all of them! Even if he didnt recognize you at first, he felt so many strong emotions and could find something familiar..and like that after a quick chat you finally were in eachothers arms once again. There you were..his only hope and only love, you have no idea how long he had waited for you - and when he finally got you, he wont let you go again.

☆ "Ticci" Toby

After everything he had done, Toby really became all this names they used to call him in school - he was a monster, a freak in fact. Could you even look at him in the same, sweet way you used to as a kid? He was scared, constantly scared..so he didnt made a first move. Until that day. When he finally saw you again, he finally felt at peace. The feeling when you were again in his arms felt like coming home from a long journey. He was able to feel the same thing, the same love and care from you. And he already felt much better, just from seeing your smile again.

☆ Eyeless Jack

He was sure you wouldn't recognize him..now he was a monster after all, a inhuman being, a demon straight from poeple nightmares. But he wished, he dreamed that you would look at him in the same way - they way you used to when everything was normal. Meeting you again made him so incredible happy..he almost feel human again! All he could do was just hug you, and sob quietly.. you had so much to talk about, but you have time for that..the only thing that matter is you right now.

☆ Ben Drowned

Ben wasnt the same person you used to cherish and care for..shit, he wasnt even a person, a human anymore. So was he still worth of your friendship? Your sweet words and hugs? Was he even worth looking at you? But he finally decide to meet you once more, he had all eternity and he needs you to make it worth exisitng. So when he showed up at your doors? He had it all planned, the things he will do and say..but just seeing you made him tear up and look in guilt to the ground. His always cool and smug persona, was replaced with the seriousness and culpability. And when you took him into your warm embrace? When you started to shush him ,a dcomfort him? He felt at peace once again, almost like nothing else matters but you both. You already made him the happiest and nothing can compare to you, nothing else in this world.

Eyeless Jack Headcanons -

TW: Cannabilism, Medical Talk?

Eyeless Jack is bisexual and genderfluid, and goes by any pronouns.

He's dating Liu, though the two haven't exactly put a label on their relationship just yet.

He acts as a parental figure to most of the kids, even if that wasn’t their initial relationship when they had met them.

He doesn't ever trust easily. It took him years for him and Lulu to build up the trust they have, and EJ is still warming up to Jeff.

Jack doesn't have many memories of his life before she woke up in the Overworld. He did narrow down a year after he woke up that they were not human beforehand because they didn’t recognize a human when they first saw one and they didn’t understand what human culture was like.

Jack needs to eat human meat or else she physically will get incredibly sick and slowly die. The same thing happens if they try to eat regular food or meat that isn't human.

She has no sense of taste and simply eats humans because they need to for stability.

Jack studied human bodies after he realized they were the only reason he was able to stay alive, which led to him realizing that kidneys are one of the only organs he could possibly take and a human still be able to live after. Considering Jack does not actually particularly enjoy having to kill humans because they find it inconvenient and a bit sad, they will go out of their way to only get one kidney from a human so they do not actually kill the person.

Jack doesn't quite know how to read, though they do try their best, especially since Lulu can't see. Ann has been trying to teach them how to read the best she can. Oftentimes, Jack will even bring stuff over to her to get to read it.

Jack has been around for a pretty long time, but considering he doesn't understand time passing, he genuinely doesn't know how long it's been.

Ann is more skilled at anatomy and medical tasks than Jack is, but she does try her best to teach him, especially since Jack does know a lot about the human body, he just doesn't know the names of body parts.

Jack is VERY overprotective, especially over Lulu, Sally, Lazari, and BEN. While he does care and worry about Liu and Chris, he knows they can take care of themselves. Lulu can also take care of herself, but considering how long he has known Lulu, he just gets very worried about her more than anyone.

They have very long stringy hair that they do not care to cut. Lulu often helps them tie up into a low ponytail or a braid.

Jack is often seen as extremely dangerous due to his lack of empathy for those who cross him or annoy him, though he seems to have a soft spot for children and often will take a parental or mentor figure for them. While he has a hatred for people in general, and doesn't seem to like interacting with them, he tends to have a certain respect for other killers like him, specifically women.

His best friends are Lulu and Chris the Revenent, with Chris seeing him as an older brother-figure, though they would never admit it out loud.

She often helps train Kate TC every afternoon so they can keep their body in shape.

Toby and EJ have met a few times, though it's only because Jack goes dumpster diving behind the store Toby works at every now and then. Toby is absolutely terrified of Jack, keeps calling EJ the "cryptid around the back". He doesn't know EJ can talk, and often runs before EJ can actually interact with him.

Between EJ and Liu, Jack is the big spoon, though he's a very light sleeper and often will wake up any time Liu moves at all and will check if Liu is okay.

Due to his blood being black and looking like tar, Helen gets very intrigued by it and often asks for some EJ's blood for his paintings. EJ obliges every time, and doesn't exactly mind too much.

Currently suffering from writer's block...I'm still working on the fic but I can't find the motivation to write anything ┐⁠(⁠ ⁠˘⁠_⁠˘⁠)⁠┌ maybe if I open up requests I can force myself to actually write something instead of just staring at my drafts for 15 minutes straight and then exiting the notes app with zero progress.
