Batman: The Animated Series - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
Firefly
Developing clinically significant pyromania at an early age, Garfield Lynns was obsessed with fire. He gradually learned to sublimate his affliction by learning to become a pyro-technician and expert in creating dazzling special effects for movies and concerts. He excelled in his craft and was later hired by the pop star known as Cassidy to design and run the pyrotechnics for her blockbuster new tour.
Lynns and Cassidy dated for a brief time, yet Cassidy found him possessive and creepy and called things off. He did not take the break up well and continued to make crass comments toward her. It was all too much and Cassidy fired Lynns from her tour.
Unhinged, Lynns attempted to kill Cassidy by overloading the pyrotechnics for her performance. Moments into her first song, the musician found herself trapped in a blazing inferno. Fortunately Cassidy was saved by Batgirl and the concert hall was evacuated before anyone was hurt.
Undaunted, Lynns continued to plot a fiery revenge on Cassidy. He created for himself a special suit as well as a series of fire-based weapons. He became the villain known as Firefly.
Batman was sought out by Cassidy for protection from Lynns. Although Batman was not interested in offering preferential treatment to a celebrity, he was committed to bringing Firefly down. Batman ended up utilizing a flame-retardant batsuit so to defeat Firefly and the villain was incarcerated.
Sometime thereafter, Firefly participated in mass jailbreak where he teamed up with the villainess known as Volcana. Although the two made for a formidable pair, they proved no match for The Green Lantern and both were recaptured.
Actor Mark Rolston provided the voice for Firefly, with the villain first appearing in the twelfth episode of the first season of The New Batman Adventures, ‘Torch Song.’

Special Agents Perez and Strahm go to the karaoke-bar. They sing and drink a lot to take the stress out of their week. Their boss Erickson joins them. They meet Hoffman there who goes there for the same reason. 🎆
