Polite Society had a very short theatrical run -- Maybe 2 weeks -- and ironically, it was playing the same time as Chevalier, and PS turned out to be a much, much better movie that you can watch on Peacock now. It's probably my favorite of the year.
The original Spider-Verse movie is my favorite movie period, and this one did not surpass it. That's totally fine! Fine.
I don't think there's an actual Nimona poster, but it always does my heart so good to see former (or current?) tumblr users make things that go big. Also I haven't seen it yet, this is early.
I actually did not finish Parabellum. I'm sure it's fine. I just keep forgetting.
next month: presumably, John wick 4, and #Barbenheimer

Five Part mini posts honoring beginnings of all of my movie watching to the Monsters Movies that I grew my fandom for all of my movie fondness from a kid terrified the first time seeing Godzilla 1984.
Monster Madness👾
Part I King Kong
The first and the best and I would say my favorite of all of my old movies was the original King Kong 1933. A movie I would watch late at night usually after my father would watch it and fall asleep the first ten minutes. My favorite fight of all was the T Rex vs Kong
Perhaps it was the silly acting, the vintage special effects, it would be a movie that for its age was ahead of its time.
King Kong is the king of all monsters but don’t tell that to the lizard in Part II of Monster Madness.
Don’t get pulled away stay tuned for more Monsters and no this was not the best post since it was the first stay tuned📻
The above link give you a behind the scenes look at the early pioneers of special effects and creating some dynamic realistic live action as well as a closer look at some of those vintage scenes of Kong and Skull Island.
Kong had some nice teeth!!
To the King of the monsters Kong
I just watched 2021 Kong vs Godzilla
if you were wondering how this came about more monster fun coming soon🗿
