Behind the Scenes of Day of the Doctor (Part 17)

Excerpts from the Radio Times Doctor Who 50th Anniversary issue (23-29 November 2013):

[ Discussing David Tennant's déjà vu about returning to the role after 4 years away ] The eerie sense of familiarity only increases, however, when he's asked what he's allowed to tell us about this episode. "I can't tell you a thing," he offers apologetically. "That is what I remember about Doctor Who more than anything. People want to talk to you about it more than anything else and you can say absolutely nothing." "Or we just lie," interjects Matt Smith, who, at this point - in April - is sitting on the secret that he is about to quit the show and usher in the era of Capaldi. "Well, to be honest, everyone thinks I've been lying furiously," replies Tennant, a touch shamefacedly, recalling earlier denials that he would appear in this episode. "I suppose I've told a couple of white lies, but until quite recently this was all a bit up in the air, so I haven't been lying quite as hard as everybody thinks.

The first drawing shows sokka looking down with slightly zoned out expression. zukos hands are reaching up.

The second image shows sokkas surprised face held between zukos hands, who raised up his face inches away from sokkas.

The third images shows sokka leaning into zuko. Both of them kissing. zuko holds on to sokkas shoulder and neck. Both look happy. End ID

Small shoutout to that person that tagged, once upon a time (last year), the sketch with "mermaid zukka". And would you look at that! Its meremay! And this is not really mermaid themed, but... it remained me to finish it! -sweats-

It's no secret 2023 was hard for a lot of us, so here's hoping for a better one. Thank you so much for the continued support here, it really means a lot. I have been posting on Tumblr for 10 years now, and it still continues to have the most wholesome, supportive people. I read your tags and they make my day every time. This is the place where I love to post my art the most, and it's all thanks to you.
