With Fit’s recent Stardew Valley streams (and I think Tubbo’s too? Haven’t checked up on him for awhile) Maybe a Fitpacbo Stardew Valley fic?

I don't know anything about stardew but I'm going to try my best!! 

Tubbo loved living on a farm. He honestly did. At first when Fit had said he had inherited a farm in a small town and he wanted to check it out with all of them, Tubbo had expected to be back in the city within the week. But that wasn't what happened. 

Sunny loved the countryside. For hours and hours she ran around the fields and forests with Ramon and Richas at her heels. They begged to keep the house as the boys stood behind her with big sad eyes. Very quickly they converted Pac to their side, leaving only Tubbo and Fit as the voices of reason. 

“Wellllll,” Fit said in a drawn out voice. “Technically we could stay as long as we like.” 

“ARE YOU SIDING WITH THEM RIGHT NOW?” 

Fit made a sheepish expression. “Oh, cmon Tubbo. It's nice out here.” He wrapped his arm around his boyfriend, knocking their heads together. 

Tubbo groaned. “I hate you guys.”

“No you don't,” Pac said with a smile as he swung Ramón up into his arms. “Because we can win you over. Watch.” 

In unison the kids all stuck out their bottom lips, dipping their eyebrows low on their faces to look up at him with the saddest eyes. Tubbo hesitated as he saw literal tears in Pac’s eyes. “Fine!” he said, throwing his hands up. “You guys fucking win.” 

The kids cheered. 

Tubbo grew to love it. He loved the sun beating down on his back during a long day working on machines. He loved watching Pac and Fit bicker over where to put the seeds in their garden. He loved laying out in the grass explaining to Ramón how different machines they used on the farm worked. He loved watching the kids run around with the chickens, feeding them old corn and bits of grass. But most of all, he loved how small the house was. 

It was a strange thing to like perhaps. Odd that he would prefer the close proximity. But he did. There was something so incredibly intimate about the way Pac pulled him into bed to lay out on his body as Fit scored loudly beside them. There was something about the way Sunny would run in after having a nightmare and curl up next to Pac who would sing to her in Portuguese until she fell asleep. 

It felt like home in a way he hadn't felt in ages. 

And if a stupid farm in the countryside was what got him that feeling then so be it.

I do genuinely believe that the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (and arguably the Zelda franchise as a whole, though i myself have played literally none of these games) is closer to fitting the description of ‘Tolkien-esque Fantasy’ than most other movies/shows/games/books etc that claim that label

I am not saying the vaccinator is not absolutely broken, I 100% feel dirty using it against a badly coordinated team, hence I wouldn't mind if it received a nerf in the future.

A lot of people analyse the vaccinator as only useful against a badly coordinated enemy team, but I think it's much better as a weapon for when your own team sucks ass has bad synergy, since any form of uber is pretty much wasted on everyone (if you can even build enough charge). To compensate for everyone's mistakes, just make sure they stay alive long enough to capture points and push the cart. Everyone will automatically stay with you, and soon you'll have a nice meat shield of 4 people swarming around you. You know it's working, when there's suddenly 3 demoknights and a spy after you.

I love micromanaging my resistance bubbles, and I love micromanaging my team without them noticing that I'm doing it. Pressing the R-button to rotate through resistances feels like such a much more engaging contribution to the battles your patients are fighting.

Vaccinator is busted, but absolutely not boring.

HI HELLO! Welcome to my completely unnecessarily detailed analysis on how I think Inkfish languages could work! + with art! yay! This is all pretty rough and not fully fleshed out (I don't have the time or patience for that lmao). THIS IS A LONG POST.

Okay, so there's dozens of languages spoken by cephalopods in the Mollusc Era but the main two I'll talk about are Inkling (or Inklish) and Octarian, spoken mostly by Inklings and Octolings respectively. 

In cephalopods, speech is formed using the syrinx and larynx, two fancy vocal organs that most other species don't have together. The larynx makes sounds using the radula (tongue) and vocal folds in the throat, it's clear and pretty easy to understand as the sound itself resembles human speech, albeit warbled. The syrinx makes noise by vibrating air at the base of the trachea, it's often trickier to follow as it can sound more like droning background noise than words sometimes.

An inkfish can use both of them at once, resulting in an EXTREMELY complicated language system where words can be made up of multiple layered syllables, and several words and sentences can even be said at the same time.

As you can probably imagine, all of this is LITERAL HELL to learn for species who don’t have both a syrinx and a larynx (so basically anyone who isn't a cephalopod). But fear not! There are many simple and more inclusive alternatives, dialects and other cool stuff like sign language and instant TTS technology for people who physically can't pronounce Inkling/Octarian or even vocalise at all (eg. jellyfish).

Both main Inkfish languages can be broken down into laryngeal words (made with the larynx), syringeal/drone words (made with the syrinx) or a combination of both, called dual-toned/layered words.

Keep in mind that both word-types can be spoken at the same time. Layering can be used to add additional connotations to a word, or to even make a new one entirely. For example, the laryngeal noun ‘bird’ combined with the syringeal noun ‘metal’ spoken together will create the layered Inkling word ‘aeroplane’, like a compound word in English.

Dual-toned stuff is more common in Inkling than in Octarian, as the language is older and has more loanwords. Inklish's dependence on the larynx gives it a higher-pitched, clearer sound whereas  Octarian's more monotone syrinx-based structure results in a deep, almost guttural sound.

Both cephalopod languages are heavy on tone and pronunciation, resulting in a plenty of accent indicators in written scripts. I used the in-game fonts for the art but if I were to rework it, each letter would probably be more complicated than traditional Mandarin on steroids. So hell on earth, basically.

On a side note, all of these language features open possibilities for some very cool poetry and literature. An inkfish author could write a poem with two lines of thought occurring at once, or a book with vivid emotional undertones written inside the prose. Pretty cool.

Usually Abram’s recovery goes about as expected but sometimes there’s stretches where he kind of slumps, just part of the ups and downs of recovery. Part of that is the constant vigilance he was forced to have in Evermore catching up to him again, so his health deteriorates and he gets jumpy and anxious and most of all exhausted. He figures out his brain remembers the mealtime breaks; and even if Andrew would never allow it at the table, the prince can recognize when he needs to give a little and let Abram sleep on the floor. It’s the only way he’ll fully relax. When he figures this out, there’s suddenly and mysteriously a few nice floor pillows and other furniture and blankets added to his room, and more for Abram to take to his own.

(Can I count this as whumptober 25 if one of the prompts is flashback 🤔)
