I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I will take a moment to say I'm so entirely grateful to have her in my life. She's been by my side at my lowest, when I lost my father, & throughout all my hardships. I couldn't imagine anyone better for me. Her heart is full of love & I've never met a woman with more patience. I had to unlearn all my toxic habits. Going from toxic relationships back to back, to healthy ones sure give your mind, body and soul a shock. I never knew what I was truly deserving of til I met her. She changed my world forever. Our friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Three years into our friendship she confessed to me during Pride weekend. I was afraid to let love in but any chance she gets she shows me how tender love can be. If you find someone that fights for you, with you, besides you don't lose them. She doesn't automatically make my fears and insecurities go away but she does give me reassurance every single day. Whether it's with her words or actions. She's always taught me actions speak louder than words. & Truthfully it shows. I'm thankful for the person I'm becoming. For the man I've grown to be. Baby, you're my world. You're my best friend, my lover. You've supported me throughout my entire transition. Relationships like that are hard to come by. I've always hoped and prayed I find love and a genuine connection. Someone that'd love me Pre T and after! Starting hormones was the scariest thing for me. Mainly because for once in my life I stopped to think what exactly is was that I wanted. I was able to find myself. Be my authentic self. & I'm thankful you give me that support. I'm also the man you created and I won't let anyone else take credit. You definitely came in my life to humble me no doubt. I stopped partying weekly, let go drugs and alcohol. Let go toxic relationships as well. Whether it be romantic or platonic. You've shown me my worth. & You've shown me I'm worth more than I give myself credit for. For so long being a people pleaser I allowed myself to be disrespected if that meant I didn't lose them. But you've shown me I'm more without them. I'm still learning and along the way I'm falling in love with myself. I'm prioritizing my happiness, my peace, my life! One day baby trust me I'll give you all you've given me and more. You're deserving of every single thing life has to offer and I want to walk along side you on our journey together.
