no you don’t understand. x and y were the first pokémon games i, and a significant number of gen z, ever played. my bonds with my two best friends when i was little were almost entirely formed through bonding over these games. we didn’t notice how unfinished it was and loved every second of it. we didn’t notice how unfinished it was until we encountered zygarde, and went online to see if there was more to it and found out there wasn’t. i waited and waited for a pokémon z announcement - i played black and white 2 and heart gold while waiting, and would watch theory videos about what would be in it, or when they would announce it. i’d go to bed at night dreaming of playing it, and talking to my friends about it, and i’d dream of being in the pokémon world and befriending zygarde, and fighting xerneas and yveltal alongside it because it was just such a cool pokémon. and then they never announced it. oras are my favourite pokémon games but they didn’t fill the z shaped hole in my kid heart. by ultra sun and moon times, i gave up and forgot about it, besides feeling nostalgic whenever i heard about the leaked documents proving there was a plan for it. the shoe-horned in zygarde in sun and moon did nothing to help.

and now they announce a legends z game. no doubt a prequel to x and y. the amount of lore in x and y that didn’t get explored is mind boggling, and now we have a chance to finally see it. the king? the pokémon war? volcanion and magearna? diancie? zygarde’s battles with xerneas and yveltal? i’m sure there’s even more i don’t remember. and they even put the mega evolution symbol at the end - everyone’s favourite gimmick, the first to ever exist.

they’re finally going to give x and y a proper ending, a proper goodbye. and i couldn’t be happier.

Peter is a young child who's been kidnapped. His parents and/or his aunt and uncle were killed and he was taken. Along with a bunch of other little kids, he's been held captive and experimented on.

When the Avengers suddenly bust the kidnapping operation, the kidnappers try at the last second to destroy their research. They gas the small room where the kids are being held.

It's Iron Man who ends up blasting through. What he finds is horrifying. All but one of the children are dead.

The one who's left is just sitting among the bodies, crying, shocked, terrified. Iron Man carries him out of there, then once they're safe from the gas Tony steps out of the suit to comfort the kid while he's given oxygen.

Little 5-year-old Peter Parker imprints on his savior hard.

He just went through an unimaginable amount of trauma, then Iron Man burst through like an avenging angel. This is the first time he's ever felt protected in his memory. Tony holds the crying kid, and the kid can tolerate no one else near him.

This becomes a slight problem when they get back to base. But Tony can't find it in him to let SHIELD take the kid away, let them strip him of this one tiny bit of comfort. He keeps seeing all those other kids when he closes his eyes.

This one needs him right now. And if "right now" eventually becomes "this is my son," well. Who could've predicted that.

I know it's been an assfuck long time since I've been on this blog but I wanted to come here and say thank you so much for loving what I post here. It makes me so incredibly happy to see people who like my writing, and I love to have people interact with it so enthusiastically.

Though, while kinda feel bad saying it, I think it'd be best for me to adjust requests for a while. I didn't expect school and life to get so stressful, and when I got busy I felt bad about not keeping up with requests. So I decided that requests can remain open, BUT I can't promise I'll do them. It'll be more of a suggestion thing, I plan to write some of my own stuff but I'd love to see your guys' ideas still! I love interacting with people through asks so please feel free to send them in.

Sorry about the long post, but I thought it'd be fair to share why I haven't been here in a while.
