To tell you how worn-out, worn-down, sleep-deprived, and all around bad shape I'm in,
I went to Ihop while waiting to pick up my dad from the hospital, and they offer me the senior menu. The 55+ menu.
I whined a little too loudly "I'm not a senior yet!!!!"
Pre-pandmeic people thought I was still in my early 20s ;__;
These past few years have walloped me like a sledgehammer

Are we absolutely sure that's the only reason? It's not like restrictions and case numbers have been shown to have a correlation.

Isaiah tries his best #7 A good time to read
Just incase your wondering folks I feel much better today basically at a hundred percent other than a slightly sore shoulder. Today I wanted to talk about one thing that the pandemic has allowed me to do and that’s catch up on my reading. I have read at least six actual books since moving to Winnipeg in February and almost all of them were during the lockdown, the reason I say actual books is because I couldn’t even tell you how many volumes of comics or manga I have read. I think everything I’ve read in the past couple months has been fantasy or fiction mostly because I like the idea of being distracted in a fun fantasy world somewhere else. A thing I have always really enjoyed is listening to books I have an Audible account, which means every month I get a free audiobook every month and deals on lots of different audiobooks. I really like to go on walk as listen to audiobooks I like to think of it as kind of killing two birds with one stone a get out to exercise and see some sun and I get to experience a great new story as I do it.

March, April, and May of 2020 contributed to the greatest number of job losses since WWII.
The COVID pandemic halted businesses around the globe leaving people out of work and on unemployment. Now that we see an end in sight, what does the future look like for people who are still looking for employment?

The Pandemic Still Isn't Over, These Hand Sanitizers Cleanse Without Drying Out My Hands
Tumblr media
I was optimistic thinking the world would be back to normal by now but I guess the pandemic still isn’t quite over yet. I had used so much hand sanitizer the last year and a half that my hands were literally drier than a dessert and cracking. It was awful. I researched, read a lot of reviews, and found two that saved my hands. They’re organic ingredient based and actually left my hands feeling better than had I not used product at all. The first one is Aesop Resurrection Rinse-Free Hand Sanitizer. It’s $10 a bottle but so worth it. It leaves my hands soft and hydrated. It smells like a day spa in a bottle, lol. The other one I love is EO Organic Hand Sanitizer in Peppermint. This one isn't as hydrating as the Aesop but works extremely well. It’s in a convenient spray bottle and can be found at any local co-op or Whole Foods Market. I highly recommend trying one or even both if you’re having dry hands or simply looking for a ‘cleaner’/plant based hand sanitizer to use.

Isaiah tries his best #6 The after effect of the vaccine
So, as I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post I got my second dose of the vaccine. I got Pfizer for my first and Moderna for my second, and I was told by a lot of people that for both I should expect the feeling of a wicked hangover or the worst flu. I was kind of nervous as I got my first one, I knew even if I were sicker then I had ever been before it would be worth it, but I had no symptoms other than a sore shoulder after my first dose this made me confident about my second. I went in to get my second dose expecting nothing more than a slight shoulder pain… I was gravely mistaken. After no more then two hours my arm was at least twice as sore than after my first shot I thought it wasn’t a big deal how much worse could it get? The answer was much worse, by the time I went to bed that night my left shoulder where I had gotten the second shot was so sore, I could hardly lift it but after a good night sleep it would be better. I did not get my good night sleep I was feverey all night and I tossed and turned, but in the morning I thought about it and it was easily all worth it to do my part to end the pandemic.
