This picture was originally my half of an Art Trade with Psy-Fairy! It was so fun working on this picture back then, and I’m so glad Psy-Fairy had liked it! 💖 But I was worried if the picture’s overall lighting was too dark, and maybe not good enough, especially since it was my first Art Trade too, so I decided to remake it. 😅

I never remember tumblr exists, but a drawing from today of Eru, he’s the main character in a story im working with for my personal pokemon characters, about a mystical alterdimensional sky island that maintains balance between parallel worlds. It’s his ultimate destiny to stop the being of End from devouring it and throwing the worlds out of wack, but in obligatory protagonist form he has no idea who he is or where he came from Only thing relevant is that he has a cool cape.

He is a mewtwo for a specific reason, though that might getting into complicated territory His og design was by Arachnideer on TH, i made some adjustments to personalize him for my story

Mewtwo, Riders on the Storm 

My Mewtwo painting is all finished, I was listening to Riders on the Storm by The Doors while painting this, so Mewtwo is battling in a storm. No idea who he is fighting, but I'm sure y'all can imagine how the battle will go 😸

As my Mewtwo himself, I drew him with claws, I always imagined him to have retractable claws like any other cat, but they come out when he is in battle. I also drew him attacking with his left hand/paw. He could be left handed or he could be ambidextrous, it is always something new with this dude, so why not throw that in too 🤣 As for my Mewtwo's anatomy, I picture him to have short, fine fur rather than be completely hairless, his fur is thicker on his head and the tip of his tail (which is why I draw him sometimes with cute tail floof :3 lol). I also made an attempt at abs, since he kind of has them in the Detective Pikachu movie and I thought "why not?" and I wanted this particular drawing to be quite detailed. This is the Mewtwo that you see in the first movie, (since everyone has their own Mewniverse now lol) except he was cloned from a fossil Mew that died thousands of years ago (like in the first movie) which is why I pair him with the Mew he battles on New Island as they are not in any way related to each other minus Mewtwo retaining traits of her species. Watching them as a child, I always thought that they would be a cute couple and I still ship them to this day :3 (also, who said there was only one of each legendary/mythical? I am pretty sure that the Mew in the 1st movie is different from the Mew in the Lucario movie. We also see multiple of the same species of legendaries and mythicals through out the series/movies, including Newtwo, who is a different Mewtwo from the one in the first movie, so it is obvious there is more than one Mew out there too. Now Mewtwo wont get together with any Mew that he was cloned from ((that would be incest and we do not condone that lmao)) but with it being very likely that there is a small population of Mews left in the pokemon world, it would further mean that Mewtwo is not related to the Mew in the 1st movie).   I am quite pleased with how this drawing turned out 😊 I must draw more!! 🤩🤩🤩
