I feel like an idiot.

It seriously took me refering to Bepo (a polar bear), Shachi (used to wear an orca hat), and Penguin (self explainitory) as the Polar Trio (can we coin this term? I like it.), to realize that there was something missing.

And listen. I knew that Law had a leopard motif. But it always seemed weird to me that Oda would use an animal (even if it was specifically a snow leopard) that isn't even native to the Artic region that the Heart Pirates are modeled after. SO WHY did it take me this long to realize Law's animal is a Leopard SEAL. 🤦‍♀️

Don't roast me for realizing this so late.

what would happen if in an alternate universe mc actually manages to run away from polarity!jk by faking her death somehow what do you think he would do? knowing how clumsy mc still is it might be obvious but im curious also side note everytime i hear neighborhood's cry baby it reminds me of polarity jk in a weird twisted way lolzx -2/3 of soulmate trio 🙄💥

Ooh interesting , that would definitely be insane.

I think if the MC managed to get away with it he’d be completely distraught and heartbroken. It would mess with his mental health really badly, like he’d spiral for the first couple of days or weeks. He wouldn’t be able to fathom it at first. Like he’d in be in denial for a while, have a meltdown over it. He’d be the type to not want to even be separated from her cremated ashes and probably spend days there.

However, after the initial shock wears off , I think we’d start to see his more logical side come in. He’d start to investigate her death and everything about it, like depending on what was the cause of death, if it was a type of illness he’d try to do every bit of research on it & get details on the autopsy or if it was a car accident then he’d definitely get his mother involved and hire some private investigators to look into it. He’d probably contact her parents, ask them for details and if they actually got to identify her body with their own eyes. He’d look into the hospital and get every ounce of information. The concerning thing is that he’s very wealthy so he access to a lot of resources, ( he can buy people off & access confidential documents & overall perform a lot of illegal activity) Especially since his mother is an attorney, she’s well informed with these things & his parents have a high profile in society.

Idk if you’ve ever seen the film “ til death do us part” but this actually happens in that movie! The girl fakes her death to escape her abusive husband but he ends up finding out via his friend being a private investigator & hes very wealthy so he starts to pick apart every detail of her supposed death & the autopsy and eventually he figures out she’s not in fact dead and tracks the new identity she’s goes by & finds her.

A very similar thing would definitely happen with Jungkook and the MC I believe! ( also yes, that song really does scream Jungkook haha, I’ll probably add it to the Polarity playlist )

-It’s less of a certain event than a multitude of things that helped Uni loosen up to the Hearts. Uni was quick to get used to Law because he was his boss now and he felt he had no right to keep away from him when he is needed. Cracking some fish facts though took a little longer.

- I would imagine the other Hearts doing their best to make Uni feel at home so he wouldn’t be such a ghost on the sub. They figure that he likes bandanas so much and so the next time the Hearts disembark on an island, they each pitch in on buying some different styles for Uni to wear besides the then limited supply he had on him.

- When presented with these gifts, Uni just about broke down in tears because never before had he really had people be considerate enough to git him things. His favorite among the many bandanas was one with an urchin print across the front (Because of course it would be).

- After that, it was very hard for Uni not to give in and be more himself around his fellow crewmen.

Jessie and James are both 25 years old

Jessie and James are NOT siblings (you'd be surprised how many people think they are). They have almost polar opposite backstories from each other.

James grew up rich but ran away from home at a young age because of all the pressure as well as his arranged marriage with Jessebelle (who looks exactly like Jessie funnily enough)

Jessie's mother, referred to as Miyamoto, was also a Team Rocket operative who worked directly under Giovanni's mother Madame Boss. However Miyamoto went MIA while on a mission looking for Mew and never came back, leaving Jessie to grow up in foster care

Jessie and James in English are named after the outlaw Jesse James which most people seem to know about. Buuut in Japanese, they're called Musashi and Kojiro, named after the famous swordsmen Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro. Musashi kills Kojiro so do with that what you will. Sub fun fact: Musashi and Kojiro's duel is referenced in Sun and Moon with Jessie battling Ash and using the sun to temporarily blind him and Pikachu before striking.

The Team Rocket trio are based off of the Time Skeletons from Time Bokan, who are probably the earliest version of the very specific trope "san-aku" (literally translated to three evil). The trope usually depicts one female leader and two bumbling men, one short and one tall. They also regularly build mechs/robots and beef with kids. In Sun in Moon, they DIRECTLY reference the Time Skeletons!

When the Johto series came to an end a decision had to be made on whether Misty or Team Rocket would leave the series. Head writer Takeshi Shudo fought really hard to keep Team Rocket (I think it's safe to say that they were his favorite characters). Seeing how Team Rocket stayed in the series till the very end, I think it's obvious to see what the end result of that decision was

The reason Jessie, in later seasons of Pokémon doesn't smack around James and Meowth as much/at all is because her voice actress, Megumi Hayashibara personally requested that the writers make her less violent. She felt it went against the "good natured villain" concept Takeshi Shudo originally had for them. On Hayashibara, Jessie's "failed nurse" backstory is based on Hayashibara's experience in trying to become a nurse.

James' love for sports and racing is often depicted in the show and is a reference to his VA, Shinichiro Miki's, love for cars and racing.

The reason Team Rocket crossdresses is literally just because the artists thought James looked better in a dress than Jessie did and ran with it

Okay okay, I have another idea-

Yandere dad Nanami x Nanami reader

I've made yall see the menace Fushiguro reader who we all love and adore, but let's talk about Nanami's daughter who is an absolute angel and polar opposite to Fushiguro reader.

Child reader is just the most well behaved kid, listens to her father always, and since Nanami is raising her, she's also going to be very good in her studies because papa Nanami is a very good teacher. I mean, reader is definitely on top of her class and has a whole wall dedicated to her awards and medals. She just has to show off her math skills when she plays cafe (because obv she's gonna be a baker who bakes fresh bread daily for Nanami to buy and make sandwiches) and uses Monopoly money.

And when I say reader is polite, that is the understatement of the history. She just cannot bear to offend anyone! She has to put "-san" with everyone's name and has to address them correctly. "Yuji-san! Megumi-San!" And "pervert-San!" Which is Gojo, because of course Nanami has told her to beware of him and only address him as "pervert-san".

"But my name's Gojo!" He tells you, but you're so distressed because dad told you to call the white haired man wearing a blindfold/glasses "pervert-san" and it'd be rude to address him as anything else!

And Nanami adores his kid so much. She's such a perfect child, never breaks rules (don't talk to strangers or Pervert san.) and is such a goody-goody. He is a present father, he makes time for you. The Jujutsu sorcerers can wait, the world can be saved by someone else, but he needs to attend your school play at all costs. And even when hes not around for the day, he has raised you to be a very responsible child- like you even go get the groceries on your own when dad is late! (Like that Japanese show in which they send kids to shop on their own)

But of course, there are times when he needs to be away for longer periods, so he needs to hire a babysitter. His top choices: Shoko(although hes a little hesitant since you have a morbid curiosity learning and Shoko would happily let you accompany her to the morgue), Yuta, Maki, Megumi + Yuji + Nobara.

Who is NEVER allowed to babysit you? Gojo.

Gojo babysits anyway. (He fr steals you from Megumi trio)

And Nanami just comes home to Gojo and reader eating takeout and he's just like "Y/n, how could you let Pervert san in your home and eat with him?" And reader's just on the brink of tears and is trying to defend herself "b-but you said to be polite to guests! And Pervert-san bought food for me. Wouldn't it be rude to not share it with him?" *reader's teary eyes* and then Gojo is like "you'd rather let your child starve? Can't you see how tiny she already is?!" *Gojo's teary eyes* and Nanami pops a vein "it's not cute when you do it!"And then kicks Gojo out of the house.

Even though reader can dress herself up appropriately, she still has to have her hair done by Nanami, no matter what age. At some point, reader probably realises that it's something Nanami needs more than she does. It's a tradition, you think, but it's actually a coping mechanism for Nanami to deal with the fact that you're "growing up" and don't ask him to watch cartoons with you or read you bedtime stories anymore🥺

And Sukuna??? He takes one look at you and he's already decided he's gonna be mean to you, but then the more time you spend with him and Yuji, the more he realises.... its just not worth being mean to the only person who is so sweet to him and actually greets and talks to him like he's an individual person and not just a parasite inside Yuji's skin. Like reader just goes "Sukuna-san! I'm painting Yuji-san's nails but he can't pick a color. Will you help?" And he's like "Alright, fuck it I'm taking this brat with me when I comit mass murder. She's safe."

I feel like Nanami will allow reader to have a fairly normal childhood, so he keeps his yandere tendencies at a bay. It's when you start growing up and as he says "the others try to taint you with momentary pleasures" that his yandereness begins to show. Honestly, it's just more of his protective tendencies coming to light than anything else. He thinks people don't have your best interests in and sometimes he's right, but how else will you learn if you don't experience it?

Also, if you do end up having cursed energy and the ability to see curses, I think that's when Nanami starts spiralling down. He does not want you to become a Jujutsu sorcerer, he wants you far far away from the Jujutsu world completely. He can't- he can't allow what happened to Haibrara happen to you. He can't allow your innocence and naivety to be tainted by the horrendous world of curses. He'd rather risk you hating him forever as he locks you away than allow you to put your life at risk for others.

You are his priority. Your safety is his priority. You'll understand in due time why he did what he did, so while his heart does break hearing you cry and beg to be let out of your room, he doesn't regret putting you in there one bit.

Nanami sighs as he continues prepping your dinner. Guess he'll have to add some crushed sleeping pills so that you don't get sick from crying your bodyweight out (or more like he can't bear to see you in such a pitiful state.)

God save the poor souls who do end up kidnapping you.
